Tina did an impeccable job with my dip manicure. She removed my old dip gently, without damaging my nails, and ensured all edges of my new dip were clean - even cleared the underside of my nails of any residual dip! All for an incredible value. I will be a return customer again and again.

It was my first time at their salon and they were very kind and made sure to ask me what I wanted and being clear that they were doing it right. They did quick work but it looks great and they make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed their pedicures, they were very soothing and rejuvenating to my feet. They were also very gentle and painless when cutting and pushing back the cuticles. Great work! Highly recommend!!

Okay well, today was my first time going to this nail salon. I originally went in to get a gift card for a friend and I coincidentally needed to get my nails filled (weird right ?) anyways, I decided “hey I’m already here why not try it out considering my friend Elaine loves it here it can’t be that bad” ....Ladies and gentlemen I LOVED it. The atmosphere was light and fun. The gentleman (John...I think) who did my nails did a wonderful job and his beautiful daughter (Christina..... ?) helped me pick out the accent color, which by the way I was not going to do in the first place but her recommendation was excellent. The other gentleman that works there (Chris, and by the way Chris if you’re reading this .... hey) was very bubbly and fun. He kept a conversation about my nails going and walked around talking to all of the individuals in the room beside myself. Everything about this place was awesome. I can’t wait to go back to get another fill... this is one place I definitely don’t mind spending my money at.

I went here 10 days ago.. the same woman did my pedicure, nails and eyebrows. My eyebrows look good, I have a cut on my toe that still hurts from the pedicure... One nail broke two days after so I went back and had the same woman fix it. A few days later 1 nail came completely off and 2 more are lifted and my pinky nail is broke. Ive been getting my nails done for 10 years and Ive never had an experience like this. From Texas and just passing through... I only went here because it was close to my hotel and it had almost 5 stars. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. 95 DOLLARS ON NOTHING. I will say the people who worked there were very friendly and it seems like a popular shop. My specific lady did a horrible job, satisfied when I walked out but they broke immediately.

I went to this salon for the first time Van worked on my nails. She was very kind and took her time to make sure they looked perfect! She was very detailed which I really appreciate!! I type on a computer a lot and it tends to rub the top coat off the tips of my nails. She put another layer of the top coat on which was really appreciated. I made an appointment to go back...my nails look great and I know she’ll take time to make sure I’m happy with the end result. Thank you Van!

My experience was not good at all. I went last weekend to get my nails done. The tech that did my nails did not know what she was doing. When we were almost done it looked like I hadn’t had a fill in 4 weeks. I had to walk her through how to do the fill to make it look presentable. It hasn’t been a full week and 4 nails are already cracked across them and she filed them down way too low. I won’t be going back

This is a fantastic place to go. They are very kind and give an excellent customer experience. They are very affordable for a teacher who is balling on a budget like me. I have been going here for a while and will continue to go!! You should too!

They do really great work but if you are looking for the spa experience, thats not here. However, if you want your nails done well at a great price. Go for it here.

Love this place! I wont go anywhere else. They have a talented team that does a thorough job and theyre inexpensive. My feet feel brand new after each pedicure. In the past I have gone to other places in Gainesville that charge double and arent half as good as Fantastic Nails.

This marks my first “pedi” as they are apparently called. It was my daughter’s b-day (she’s 5) and she wanted me to come with her and her mom for their b-day tradition they started last year. I checked the reviews of the area and they had the best by far. That doesn’t always work, but this time it did.I went big for my first and got the Signature for $50 bucks...do this; it’s nail trim, foot spa, ju jitsu massage chair, calf and foot massage, stone massage, something called paraffin, and a buff shine job on my nails. Kim was my person and she did an amazing job. I don’t know how long I was there, but it felt like forever. When the girls were getting up for manicures, Kim was still at it (suckers, didn’t get the Signature). Long story short, my feet are now the most relaxed and most attractive part of my body. Everyone was warm and kind. Do yourself this favor.P.S. to the fellas...we’ve been missing out.

Made an appointment at 5:30, showed up ten minutes early, no one started on me till 6. My pedicure was amazing, however my nails not so much. I had one person do my toes, another did my acrylics, and another painted them. Very unorganized. The man doing the acrylics was rushing, didnt even bother with my cuticles, and the shape was not to my liking. Wanted a straight coffin nail shape, it was coffin shaped but was all rounded, not at all what I showed him. The lady who painted my nails did so in a way that there was a gap and it looked like I need to fill my acrylics upon leaving the salon. I wanted a matte finish, and upon getting home, I realized there were spots missed so some parts of my nails are glossy. The salon was closing and I feel like everyone was rushing to get me out so they could leave and the service I received suffered because of it. Definitely not going back. And just because they take the tools out of a sterilized bag doesnt mean they are, Ive used those sterilizers before and when used, it creates a seal you have to rip and cannot use the bag again, the bag hadnt been sealed, it was able to be reused again which means the tools couldnt have been sterilized.

The only reason I’m leaving 5 stars is because there’s no option to leave more. I went in to treat my girl and honestly the entire experience was great, friendly staff and overall a welcoming environment . My girl got her nails done with Christine which she described as very pleasant kind and professional . 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a good place to get your nails done or to treat someone to getting their nails done.

First time coming to this nail Salon and my experience was horrible! If I could give them a Zero I would... the guy that did my nails was extremely rude and did not like when I told him that my nails were to thick or that I liked the French thinner, he wouldnt listen to what I liked. He didnt even put a clear coat at the end. 2 weeks later I ended up going somewhere else because he did such a horrible job that my acrylic nails where breaking a part. A total of 4 nails broke. Ive been doing my nails for over 5 years and this was the first time 4 nails broke within 2 weeks. Awful!!!!!!!!!!

Four of us made an appointment to have our nails painted for my daughters wedding. My daughter, the bride was finished in about 5 minutes. Collectively, the polish doesnt cover the whole nail, I personally only had one coat applied and they didnt even clean the Polish off the sides. Truly the worst experience I have ever had. What a disappointment.

I came here for the first time and decided to get acrylics and the lady who did mine was Van or Wan, she was the eldest lady there and she was very sweet but I was not satisfied at all with my nails, I wanted them thin so they’re more “natural” looking & they still came out pretty thick, I asked for coffin and didn’t quite get the coffin shape I usually get, & I noticed she used very little glue to glue the acrylics on and I was thinking to myself that these are not going to last & I was right. The very next day one of my nails broke & a week didn’t even pass and all of my nails except my thumbs were already lifting up. So I went back to see what they could do for me and I got sent with the same lady and she gave me a new set which i’m very grateful for, I gave her a generous tip for helping me out but my god... my pinky nail popped off 2 days after that! I mean that’s ridiculous. Very sweet people but I’m not going to pay $35 again for a set of acrylics that don’t even last a week. I won’t be coming back to this place and personally wouldn’t recommend.

Pedicures are amazing.I got a gel overlay on my natural nails it was horrid. No shape, just flat and after 2 days it is lifting. I am disappointed but the pedicure was great.

Not only was my mani/pedi perfect, but conversation was super fun and you kept me laughing the whole time! Christine is a sweetheart too :) definitely would recommend!

Terrible service! Worst acrylics I’ve ever had done. I asked for coffin shaped nails, but was instead given a a variety of nail shapes. Some nails were coffin shaped, and some were square. All of my nails were also a different length. Additionally, my cuticles were torn apart. I left before polish could be applied to my nails, and asked for at least a partial refund. I was told “no” and still charged $37. $22 for acrylics, $10 for removing my old acrylics, and $5 for “shaping” my nails. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Was there two days ago had a great experiencewith my pedicure and eyebrows look great to. But the only thing I jad a problem there with was with my gel acrylic and the shape . When the elder lady put on the acrylic very thick which left clogs of acrylic in a bubble thinking my nails looked good after they were painted you can notice them once you look at them they’re far the worst gel nails I had.

Never. go. here!This place has absolutely horrible customer service! I got a $30 gel manicure and it was so bad. The polish was painted on super thin, you could see the nail through it!!!3 days in to the manicure, it started chipping. Having the busy life I do and working full time, I didnt back to the nail place until 7 days after my manicure to ask to have it redone and at this point 2 of my nails were completely off! I know that they cannot guarantee that it will last 2-3 weeks but it should last longer than a week! Dont advertise that you have a product that lasts 2-3 weeks if it lasts a week.The owner helped me and she was horrible. She called me a liar and that my manicure was atleast 15 days old and that she sees it all the time so I must be lying. I explained to her that I had my receipt and that I had an appointment with them and she could look at 7 days prior and I would be there. She continued to argue with me for about 10 minutes. She offered to take them off and redo them for $15. Im sorry but I am not spending $45 in the matter of 7 days for my fingernails.She was horribly rude and continued to call me a liar. I will never go back. They dont produce quality work and they dont know how to treat paying customers. If she had redone my gel manicure, I would have continued to return for more manicures/pedicures in the future, but now I will just advise every single person I know to never go there.

They are not very good at matching the gel color to the regular polish. My gel manicure did not match my regular polish for my pedicure. I like talking to my technician but it was difficult to communicate because of the language barrier. I did not think they are very sanitary as the used that foot scraper and the nail brush (those are not supposed to be used in nail salons). $50 for a gel mani and pedi is a good price though.

The worst gel manicure I have ever had. The polish started to fade at the edges in less than 7 days. I spoke with the owner and he told me it was normal wear.......gel manicure lasting only 7 days, really? DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! That fact that the owner would argue with me instead of fixing my problem shows the poor customer service and the poor quality of this business.

The services are great. I do waxing all the time. The are are clean and professional. Its a bit pricy but no bad at all.

OMG never again. They did my pedicure very horrible, I got gel, they only painted 3/4 of my nails. I also got a deep pounder as a manicure and it lasted 3 days (no cheap by the way). I am a very busy person, I work very hard during the week. So I went 5 days later to the place to ask for a refund or fix my pedicure, and the woman (manager or owner) got upset and told me at least 5 times like I had to tell her before that I didn’t like the pedicure no 5 days after. Come on I know what a nice pedicure looks like, when you got gel, next day or four days after pedicure your nails supposed to look still nice. I went to this place because Gainesville world of mouth FB page but is TERRIBLE AND PATETIC COSTUMER SERVICE. I would if I can give zero stars 👎🏻 Uncomfortable chairs and no many colors. SHEETY PLACE

Got a mani/pedi that were both HORRIBLE. The nail polish was all over my hand and totally uneven on my nails. They also made me put my hands under the UV light for gel for much longer than usual due to a broken machine. The utensils were also dirty (I saw blood marks on their nail filer). Would not recommend this place to anyone

Best nail salon in Gainesville! Ive been going to Fantastic for 8 years & LOVE them! Jon & Tina are the owners & they pride themselves on building relationships with their clients & maintaining a clean, safe salon. They all provide excellent service & Im always happy with whatever I get. Sara & Bin are my favorites for manis & pedis. Sara & Tina are also very good at waxing, Ive heard numerous people say theyre the best in town. They use sanitized tools, clean & hot towels & the paraffin pedi is incredible. I wont go anywhere else! Theyre the best.

Was dirty! Came in for a polish change & manicure. When they called me back to the pedi chair I sat down & set my feet on a soaking wet towel from the previous customer & the water was still draining! If it hadnt been that I was on a time crunch to get to a wedding Id have left right there... I then started looking around & everything was filthy, broken or shoddily repaired. Only after he put my sandals on did he clean up the previous guests dirty tools & went to the hand washing station. I lost track of him & Im afraid he may have just washed them & stuck them in a sanitised pouch for the illusion of cleanliness but I cant say for sure. When he moved me to the mani station he forgot to bring my polish & then spent 15 minutes looking for it. & lastly cut my cuticle during my manicure several times. This place is miserably un fantastic, dont come here!
