Great location. Maybe a bit small but workable. The instructors at this location are some of the best in the industry. They all know their students and parents by name. Thats huge considering how many people they see each class. Take your kids or attend an Adult class. I know you will enjoy it.

My boys are 8 and 13 and just moved to Tiger Rock recently. My 8 year old had been complaining about going to martial arts every week when we were attending somewhere else. Both boys were super excited when they took the trial class at Tiger Rock. The price was higher (though you can come to all lessons offered for your belt group, not just one a week) and also takes twice as long to drive to, but they both begged to take lessons here. It was a no-brainer for us. I’ve sat in on several lessons and see why they love it so much. There is so much structure, discipline, and they work them well every time. Their expectations for performance are high—-and my kids love it. The instructors are all super nice and this place is very professional. My teenager is super shy and was so excited about how welcoming and helpful the other students were to him—they don’t just teach martial arts here.It is worth the money and time for sure. Best move we ever made. Can’t say enough good things! HIGHLY recommend.

Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Frisco is a wonderful gift to Frisco. Master Dallas runs a premier operation and has excellent instructors on his staff. They are genuinely interested in the growth and development, both physically and emotionally, of their students. The staff know each and every one of their students by name and understand how to work with all types of children, as they advance on their path to blackbelt. They concentrate on teaching respect, discipline and focus. These life skills help children gain confidence as they advance in their skills. Tiger Rock is definitely a place I recommend if you are looking to get your child or yourself into Martial Arts. I visited several other martial art facilities in the area over a couple of months to watch classes and speak with the different instructor before visiting Tiger Rock. From the moment I entered the facility and began chatting with Mr Dallas about his philosophy and teachings I had strong feelings for the place. After my son attended the first class, I enrolled him and havent looked back. My son looks forward to training and has only missed because of church camps and vacation otherwise he wants to train every day. You can get decent martial arts training at many places but Tiger Rock gives you a higher quality instruction. Tiger Rock is not about checking off boxes to advance they are passionate about teaching proper technique. You sign up with Tiger Rock you will be making the right decision and never look back.

Tiger Rock has done a great job in providing the training especially during Covid. They keep their facilities sanitized in the training area and viewing area. We have our 9 year old son attending Tiger Rock in person since June and feel confident in the safety they provide in the training. We also have our son taking private lessons every week. Their instructors are professional and interact great with my son and he has progressed very well in advancing in his skill in martial arts.

We have 2 boys at Tiger Rock Legacy & we could not be happier with their results. They have both received their black belts but we are equally proud of the respect, discipline and commitment Master Dallas and his staff have instilled in our boys. The program is well balanced between physical and mental. I feel both of our boys are well prepared to defend themselves if need be but again this is so much more than that. Master Dallas & his instructors do a great job relating to their students keeping them interested. The instructors are very genuine and great roll models. Our son began his Tiger Rock, TaeKwonDo journey in August 2015 as a White Belt. Today, he is a First Degree, Level 4 Black Belt testing for Second Degree soon. He has gained invaluable training in the areas of self defense; building on characteristics such as honor, courage, and respect. He has learned that it takes dedication and hard work to get where his is and that you do not get a medal for showing up. The self confidence he has gained through his TaeKwonDo training has helped him in other areas of his life like Scouting and Academics. I would say perseverance is probably the biggest life lesson he has learned. He has had major set backs and big disappointments during his journey but he keeps suiting up and showing up. We are very grateful for the trainers and owner at Tiger Rock. The skills our son has gained through his TaeKwonDo training will carry him throughout his life.

Both my children have been attending classes at this academy for the last three and a half years and they both love it. The best run and cleanest martial arts academy in Frisco! Master Dallas and his crew have created an awesome environment for kids and adults alike. We have multiple martial arts gyms within 5 minutes of us, but the 20 minute drive to Tiger Rock is well worth it. My son started 2.5 years ago and he picked Tiger Rock after visiting 4 different places.Our kids participate in a number of other activities in Frisco - swimming, gymnastics etc. but without a doubt the instructors at Tiger Rock stand head and shoulders above other places. They form solid relationships with the kids - they all know every kid by name and they form a personal connection very early on. They really care about each child and you can tell that they make an effort engage with different kids based on their specific needs which is very hard to do in a large class. They make classes fun and motivating but run a very disciplined program at the same time.Apart from self defense skills, kids get to compete in tournaments with competitions in board breaking, forms and sparring. They are also introduced to and trained in important life skills via the Tiger Rock Tenets that they recite before every class: Honor, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control, Courage, Community, Strength, Humility, Knowledge.Since my son joined, we now have his younger sister and both my wife and I signed up. The adult class is a lot of fun and a good workout and for me has been a great way to bond with my kids by joining them in an activity that they enjoy.

Master Dallas and his staff are best in North Texas. My daughter came home from school one day and told me she wanted to take martial arts. The Tiger Rock experience has been a wonderful one for my son. We enrolled our then 7 year old in lessons at Tiger Rock almost exactly one year ago. Over this year he has become significantly more confident, more cooperative, and more respectful. He works hard on the mat, and is able to translate the tenets they learn in class to his everyday life outside of the academy. Any program that can teach physical agility, self defense AND traits like perseverance, self control, integrity, and respect to a VERY independent 2nd grader is a 10 in our book! And, I dont think anyone could have done it better than the amazing staff at Tiger Rock of Frisco! We look forward to our sons journey to black belt and beyond with this team!

The instructors and training is excellent and our overall experience was very good..They are very flexible and work with parents if scheduling is tough. We had tried two different martial arts studios before discovering Tiger Rock and have never looked back. Master Dallas and the rest of his staff are fantastic! All three of our kids have learned so much from a martial arts perspective and they HAVE FUN at the same time. SIMPLY AWESOME. The instructors know all the kids by name and care about all of their Tiger Rock families. I have 3 children that attend this academy (more than 4 years here) and my kids not only learn Tae Kwon Do, they learn self-respect, discipline, integrity, and about respecting others. Each month the instructors sit with the kids and discuss these topics and how the kids can practice these traits at home and at school. It truly feels good to be part of the Tiger Rock family and know that they share the same values as our own family. The staff is encouraging and patient, but enforces discipline. We have never had any negative experiences with the staff or payment etc. I highly recommend it!

I have been a part of many and enrolled my kids in other studios and Tiger Rock is by far the best.Master Dallas keeps the academy extremely clean and the lessons are highly organized, energetic, fun and safe. The lessons not only teach self defense but also self respect, maturity and respect towards parents and teachers. And the instructors still find time for a little fun and games for the kids.Every instructor shows a lot of attention towards each students individual growth and needs. ALL of Tiger Rocks instructors and assistants are amazing accomplished people, and tremendous role models!I am blown away with what my kids are capable of in Tae Kwon Do and in athletics in general. My children and husband have been training here for years. They have all enjoyed it for many reasons. They’ve learned discipline and how to focus. How to win gratefully. They’ve experienced losing and learning what to train for next time. The staff is good with children and always finds creative ways to make learning tae kwon do fun. We practice with some videos off the web, use the punching bag we got with the class and even more valuable to me, I can re-enforce the values your organization projects and teaches to your students as they are similar or exactly the ones I portray and as did my own parents. As a retired US Marine of 22 years and watching some of the decay of our society, not only is it refreshing to see such values taught out of the house, but the re-enforcement of being a productive and helpful member of our community is simply outstanding. My son has played a few sports already and was an all star in baseball, but the aggressive coaching turned him off.I could not be more proud or excited to be a member of Tiger Rock and to watch my sons confidence and pride grow since we have started here!
