I came here a few months ago for a radiator flush, they were awesome and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend them. Fair price. You will find experience and expertise here. Do not go to the one on Main Street. They are a rip-off. This Legacy drive wont recommend unnecessary work. Again, highly recommend this Legacy location.

Taking the Company Truck to get a oil change, and the lady in front desk refused to give me the service because she did not know my Company and never heard of it, 🤔🤔 im all confuse reply i have somebody that will take care of the payment thats not a problem…. I started working in Plano 4 years ago, I’ve visited this business 3 years annually for an inspection sticker. My vehicle is a 2003 that I purchased “new” and soon thereafter, I had the windows tinted at an auto tint dealer. I’ve never been pulled over for tint, never received any tickets or warnings for tint to date. Because I get off late sometimes, I’ve gone to this business 3 times for an inspection sticker on this vehicle. The very 1st visit, they told me the Windows were “not legal” after I waited an hour. The following year, I went a 2nd time for for an Inspection Sticker and the vehicle passed with no issues… I go for the 3rd time to get an inspection sticker, and again they tell me the Windows aren’t legal? I tell the guy, “it’s the same tint that was on the vehicle the last time it was inspected right here… how was it legal then and not now?” On top of that, the tint is original since 2003 and should be faded to a degree… The tint is 18 years old and not one time has any inspection facility questioned the legality of the tint, and never has it been an issue until this place. Am I to believe in 18 years they are the only ones getting it right, or are they looking for any reason to give it a “failed” inspection? I also have to note that while sitting over an hour again, for that foolishness, I noted several other vehicles being inspected, driven by different nationalities than myself, with tinted windows that looked as dark or darker than mine.. and they were “passed” and received a sticker…. I will never go back and I hope others will think twice before they do

First of all, they are absolutely not honest. They wanted to charge me 200 dollars to install a brake switch that is worth 35 dollars(yet they wanted to charge me 80 for the switch alone). They wasted 30 minutes of my time just to tell me that my brake switch wasn’t working (which I had told them before I walked in and my main issue was I needed to figure out was why my car wasnt accelerating) so afterwards they wasted another 30 minutes looking at my car only to tell me that there’s “multiple issues and recalls and I should take it to the dealership” there isn’t a single recall on my car. These people will only waste your time and try to rip you off.

Chad was the gentleman that helped us today. He was so knowledgeable, kind, and explained everything so well. As women we have trouble getting honest help and service from men at most car repair places but not here! They treat you with respect and as equals. We will be moving all of our car services here to this location! If chad hasn’t received a raise he need one!

I live down the street from this place and my truck was just barely running in limp mode as I inched it into this shop.When I pulled up, Gary stopped what he was doing and had me in the shop within minutes. Extremely nice guy, hes certainly knowledgeable across the board, he had my truck diagnosed in 15 minutes and most of all, knows how to operate an honest business.I have been traveling to Dallas to have my truck serviced by someone Ive trusted for years but its really nice to know I have someone up the street now! Gary earned my future business by being prompt and honest which can be a sought out rarity with auto shops.If you live nearby or just passing through, this business will shoot you straight and handle your service needs.

These guys are the worse... in the past year I had them perform a few minor maintenance so when my check engine light came on I had them look at it. They replaced a oil sensor unit. and everything was fine. Then in March I took my family on a road trip to Colorado, but on the way home my oil pressure dropped to zero while on the road in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully I found a GM dealership who realized that the sensor unit failed and replaced it. When I got home I went to Kwik Kar with the bad part and they refused to reimburse me for the bad unit. They said I needed to call them before I had any work done to get their approval before I replaced the part they installed. I was terrified for my family and just wanted to get back on the road safely so the last thing I was thinking about was If I should call them for permission. Furthermore, the owner did not return my phone calls. Needless to say, I will never use these guys again.

Went in for an inspection and the guy helping me noticed my tire pressure warning was on. He checked and equalized the pressure in my tires at no cost.I’ll definitely be back.

They were super helpful. Quick, honest, and I will return! They charged me $10 for something the Nissan dealership was going to charge me $160 for 😐😑😒 shame on you Nissan smh

Very positive experience. My first time here. I came to this location because of an employee named Tom. He worked at another location for years and always treated us fairly. Very honest man. I not only take my personal vehicles but my company vehicles as well. I highly recommend going to see Tom. He is off on Wednesday and Sunday.

Wife went in for an oil change and state inspection. Of course the tech said her air filter was bad. Which doesnt make sense as I replaced it myself 3 weeks ago. Then they tell her she needs her radiator fluid flushed. Dont tell her the price of how much it would cost and make it sound like the car wont run without it. Is it common practice to upsell women and fail to inform them of the cost of a procedure before performing the work????

So impressed with the level of service I received at this location!! I cannot thank the guys enough for their customer service and quality of work done. Long story short I had work done a couple weeks ago and they were so courteous and kind during the entire visit. Quick too! Then my battery went dead two weeks later and they came out to my apartment to give me a jump start. They didn’t have to do that!! This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a long time. No one was manning the desk for an hour on a busy Saturday morning. My car was ready for 20 minutes just staring at me and when someone finally did come in they just started chatting with their friend. Finally, I had to say something and they checked me out. Then they just gave me the receipt and not the inspection report. I actually mentioned to the lady how bad the service was and she was incredibly rude and she said she had to drive someone their car. That is fine but get someone to cover for you when it is really busy. Two people came in and waited and then eventually gave up and left. Took about 50 minutes longer than it should have. Just so rude.

Great location with friendly staff - had a $10/off coupon for an oil change thats already one of the cheapest full synthetic jobs in town. The best part was after the 20-point check that comes with every oil change they werent super pushy on additional services, just pointed out that they thought needed done and left it at that. Ill definitely be back to this location.

I HIGHLY recommend Kwik Kar Auto Center on Legacy and Warren. Ramon, the owner, took care of me and was so respectful and kind! I was immediately greeted and walked inside. Ramon talked through everything he was going to do and about the oil change I needed. The place is extremely clean, well managed and it look less than 20 minutes to get my oil changed, car vacuumed and a windshield wiper fixed. I even went to the Kwik wash right beside the Auto Center to get my car washed and the car wash was incredible! I was super impressed with my visit, Ramon, and I definitely recommend this Auto Center!

I really liked going to this location because it was convenient and I never sensed I was being duped into anything I didnt need. My last 3 visits have changed my mind completely. I brought my truck in for an oil change and the technician said oil was leaking and it needed a new oil cover because oil is completely leaking out Cost? $400. The truck is old and has been sitting for a while so I decided to hold off on the repair and see if I had oil spots in the driveway. I havent and the truck is holding pressure and not leaking. Strike One. I took my car in a few weeks later for an oil change since we would be traveling for the holiday. This time I got you need an engine flush, power steering flush, and brake line flush for an additional $289. The technician said he would take $50 off and I gave them the benefit of the doubt since the car has 110 k miles. Exactly a week later I experienced a severe vibration in the engine. I took it to Kwik Kar again since it is so close and that I had a free engine light reading offer from them. He called several hours later and said I needed a catalytic converter, oxygen sensor, and a few other items totaling almost $2500. I knew this couldnt be right and I surprised them the first thing next morning and said I would be picking up my car. The tech said I would have to pay $109 diagnostic testing fee which I refused as I never authorized him to do so outside of the code reader service. He finally agreed but was pushing hard for me to not drive the car as it could get really bad I could tell by his demeanor that this was complete bs. I went to Autozone and got a free check engine light scan which SURPRISE, SURPRISE! came back with a common misfire. Nothing about Catalytic converter or O2 sensors. Strike Two. In the end all it needed was a tuneup, ignition coils replaced, new spark plugs and a new valve cover gasket. The person I had work on the car for the actual repair also said it didnt appear the work that was supposed to have been done (the multiple flushes it supposedly needed) other then the oil change was actually done. Strike Three. I can only imagine what they would have wanted to charge me for the valve cover gasket repair, but Im sure it would have been A LOT. One can only deduce that the technician I dealt with is either completely inept at his job, or a fraud who tries to bilk you out of hard earned dollars by telling you that your car needs unnecessary services or repairs. Im betting on the ladder if not a combination of the two. I will never return to this establishment after 3 years of loyalty and I would recommend that you shouldnt bring your car there either.

My first time going to this location and they did a wonderful job. The place is clean and well kept with very nice staff. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Turned out I needed some other fluids changed as well (an unexpected cost). The mechanic helped me out on pricing as much as he could, which I thought was very nice!! The total cost on everything wasn’t near what I was expecting. I read reviews on how “slow” or “busy” they are, it took them maybe 45 minutes for my car and they were busy, I did not think that was a bad waiting time. Also, I heard the receptionist on the phone telling people to call before they head that way to get an idea of how busy they are, I thought that was a nice suggestion from her and reasonable. It’s not 5 stars because it was my first time but I will be going back.

Kwik Kar staff was very efficient and very friendly. I brought my car in for a tune up on Friday afternoon and they were able to get me in. My mechanic explained everything they needed to do and he was able to give me a detailed breakdown on the costs. He was very open and transparent about what needed to be done. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend this team for your car maintenance and repair.

The best part about this Auto Center is, You get done very quickly. Since I moved from Seattle they are the only ones who I go for an Oil change. I normally come during the lunch time for an oil change and before my lunch time is over my car is ready to go. I dont know the owner personally but I had a chance to meet him and I assure you he will do anything to win your business. He really takes care of his customers. I would definitely recommend this place.

I don’t even know where to start. The whole team is so sweet and personable, I have a conversation with many of the employees there! The workers let you know in detail what problems they encountered with your car and show you on your car... coming from a woman who knows nothing about cars I have confidence that they know exactly what they are doing and they never try to fool me into getting things done that I don’t need. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!

Make sure you ask how much time it will take to have your car ready. When I dropped mine I told them I was gonna have lunch at the restaurant across the street. 1 hour later they haven’t even started on my car. I left and got my car done at a place with better customer service.

I work next door to Kwik Kar which is super convenient for any repairs that I have had. My wife and I drive two older vehicles (2002 F-150 and 2002 Suzuki XL-7) and they have taken really good care of us. I feel like Gary is the most honest mechanic I have ever dealt with. I will only take my vehicles to him *knock on wood* if something were to happen again, I know he would take good care of my vehicles.

I come here for inspections and I gotta say, the manager, Jonathan, running this place is awesome. He gets it done super fast. He is also totally laid back and puts his customers at ease, no joke. Today I went in at around 12:30 , halfway into my lunch break and the man had me back at my office before the hour was up. I even had a few bulbs that he had to replace so it wasn’t as if I didn’t have some minor issues to handle on top of the inspection. Super professional, super chill. I won’t get my inspections done anyplace else now.

I have been going to this location for a couple years now. They are always quick and helpful. I have had a few repairs done here as well. This is the only place I have ever been that does not try to up charge me. Highly reccomend, my co workers have even started using them and agree they give excellent service.

Ive been to another Kwik Kar in Frisco and got tired of the constant up-sell tactics so browsed Yelp and Google ratings to find another auto service center as my inspection was due. This one is just minutes from my house and the reviews were good so I decided to give it a shot. From the second I drove up it was night and day compared to the other Kwik Kar location. A gentleman met me at my car and then walked me to the lobby. This doesnt sound like much but it made a big impression. The lobby is clean, comfortable and actually smells nice. Not that I had much of a chance to enjoy it. By the time I got my iPad out and settled, they were done. And NO up-sell!!! I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Ive been putting off getting my inspection for almost a month because its always such a hassle (even at the dealership). I dont generally write reviews but I was so impressed I had to take the time to do so.

I went to Kwik Kar because I wanted a car center that close to my job. The establishment was also very clean with free WiFi and a kids play center. The staff and owner was very friendly and professional. The establishment is always busy, but gets there customer in and out in a timely manner.I needed my brakes done and fluids, and let me know that there was a special with the combine repair. They were efficient and did a great job! I would recommend my friends, family and clients to go there.

Ive taken my vehicle here on several occasions now. Twice for state inspections, three times for routine maintenance and once for a major repair. Ive never been upsold for services I didnt need, theyve been quick and professional, and on the rare occasion that a mistake has been made they have corrected the situation without issue or prompting. The management and mechanics have always been friendly and helpful.They also have a decent car wash and detailing business next door, while I cant speak to the interior cleaning or detailing work, the automated car wash itself works great.

Recommended a radiator flush. Flushed my radiator fluid without refilling it. Car started overheating. Radiator was empty.

My inspection sticker and my car registration were both expiring the end of December and I was needing an oil change for an upcoming New Years holiday trip. On December 26 I made an on-line appointment for the oil change and inspection for the next day. When I left my office at 5:00 pm that day I decided to turn in to this location on my way home. I asked if it was too late to get an oil change and auto inspection. Gary Gutierrez, the GM, said no problem, well take care of you right away. And they did indeed - presto I was out of there by 5:50 pm and home safe by 6:00 pm. One item off my check list before heading out of town on Friday. This also gave me an extra day to go to the Denton County Tax Assessor Collectors office to secure my registration sticker. I was really thankful that I could go there a day earlier than planned because the weather forecast for the rest of the week is dreadful. The service and attitude of the crew at this location was off the charts.

We recently moved from California to Frisco and found this location in google. I took my Honda Odyssey for oil change and brake repair. The staff was courteous and honest. They did great job on the car. I would definitely go back again.

They were very courteous and nice. They told me my car power steering pump was not working and it couldnt pass inspection and wanted to charge me 250 for the part, it was 100 dollars at autozone and 300 for labor. Went some where else nothing wrong with the pump and it passed inspection.

Called for AC charge. Was told they have no idea how much freon my car will take. Isnt this a mechanic shop? Dont you have sophisticated computers where you plug in my info of my car...BMW M3 and it will give you an approx amount?? Lady on phone basically said yeah we work on those daily, but have no idea just bring it up here. Um, no maam that wont work. If you cant give me a ball park figure should I go somewhere else that would actually care to earn my business? She said yeah sure, have a good day and hung up. Well done Kwik Kar, you lost a customer! Id give you zero stars, but you at least answered the phone, so at least you won there.

I serviced my two cars(both European models ) here , they did excellent job on fixing the things, at reasonable prices, I used to drive all the way to Plano Pkwy from Frisco before knowing this place. I would recommend these guys any day vs dealership.Thank you guys.

I went on a Friday to have my car inspected. The young man was courteous and did the inspection in a timely fashion. Less than 20 mins. Ill be going there from now on.

Came recommended by my co worker and they did not disappoint. Very helpful and see to be honest and trustworthy.

I had a case of bait & switch with this business. After receiving a coupon from them, I called them to ask for a quote for my Mercedes. I gave them the year, make and model on the phone and the exact Oil brand I needed. The guy on the phone quoted me $80 after the coupon. Today, after they pulled in the car, he informed me the cost will be $113.00 because of SPECIAL oil filter the car requires. I dont understand how an oil change business doesnt know that German cars require special oil filter.

Nearby place that I wont mention but lets just say the employees seem to be edgy, For state inspection their computer wouldnt read my car and they failed me so I brought to quick car and got out 1/2 the time and these guys seem a lot nicer

They are good, my car had a starting problem on 380/423, they helped me towing and replaced the starter for less than $350 which was quoted for $485 on 380. I am happy now and saved a bit.

Beware of this place. They are fraud people.I went there to get an oil change and oil filter, so as soon as I get there they start working on my car and they said it will take 10-15 min. But it ends up much faster than that! When technician was parking my car I asked him did you changed oil and oil filter he said YES! And again I asked him did you changes oil filter too? He said yes we always do filter with oil. I changed my oil last time so I knew oil filter is in bad spot so it takes at least 15 min to replace it. When I got my keys I went and I checked my filter and It was same one that I changed last time. So I went and I asked the owner what brand oil filter you used and he said we always use mobil its white color, which mine was Bosch and blue when I told him why you guys didnt change my filter they got shocked and they took my car in again.The owner refund me in full but I figure out they are fast because they cut corners and they skip hard part and sometimes they skip replacing oil filter or maybe they do it all the time!Beware of this place. They are fast for a reason !!!!!

I called and they said they do turn BMW rotors plus quoted me a price. I called 10 minutes before I arrived to verify the quote and remembers talking to me. When I get there, they dont turn rotors. I got 3 different quotes. The last quote was a number I through out off the top of my head and they knocked 50 dollars off. No confidence in this place. Dont bother with this place. Youve been warned!

Exceptional service!I brought my Xterra in with electrical and transmission problems. I had already tried another shop and they couldn’t find the problem after holding on to the car for 4 days. I knew this would be a challenge when I brought it in to Kwik kar. Steve and his team took their time, diagnosing and getting to the root cause. If you know anything about electrical problems, it can be a black hole of endless charges. They did not overcharge me and they made sure I only got parts for what I needed. I received timely updates and estimates on how much everything would cost. The cost way lower than the dealership and lower than another major competitor I looked into. They were very professional all through the process and the service was excellent. They went above and beyond my expectations. I got my car back and everything works fine. I would highly recommend this location to everyone. You will not get better car service anywhere else. Much Thanks to Steve and the Kwik Kar Frisco team.

Raced across town to get an inspection done and got there 15 minutes before their 6pm close time and was told they couldn’t do it. Pretty disappointing customer service.

Beware of this place. They are fraud people. I moved from NJ to TX few weeks back and went to this place for out of state inspection. Ram Alluri was the person who attended me and pointed various problems in my car and said your car will not pass inspection anywhere in TX. He was forcing me to get those things fixed. But my intuition worked and I said that I will show my Volkswagen at dealership. Believe me my friends there were no problems in my car and my car passed inspection and i register in TX. I m not going to this place again. Dont go to this place. I am letting all my friends know about this fraud place.
