This was a disaster. My daughter took her Jeep in for some service and asked for tire rotation. After a few days of driving the Jeep, the front driver side wheel fell off while driving the Jeep on the access road of the tollway. The brakes gave out when the wheel came off. Turns out the wheel was never securely put on the tire. She found the lug nuts and screws on the road. So after towing the Jeep back to Frisco Automotive, they assured us that the wheels were secure and the Jeep was safe to drive. NOT TRUE! We took the Jeep into Costco for new tires and Costco said the wheel that previously came off was bent and not safe to drive on. Also, one of the lug nuts was completely stripped and they were unable to put all of the lug nuts back on. The wheels are completely messed up now and it is not safe to drive. If you want your car to be safely repaired, do not go here!

After moving to Texas a few years ago, I tried several shops before I found Frisco Automotive. They’ve been great with small and large issues in my Chevy truck. They’ve been very good to work with and completed repairs in a timely manner. Definitely recommend them.

I was in town visiting family and upon leaving made it about an hour south of Dallas when my ECU starting activating a fail-safe and periodically preventing acceleration. After a failed stint at a local dealership I called Austin at Frisco Automotive and they got me in last minute, diagnosed and repaired, and got me back on the road the same day!Extremely grateful to Frisco Automotive for their service and catching what the other shop honestly should’ve been able to handle. My family is now safely back in Houston in a timely manner. No offense, but I’m hoping I don’t need to come back since I don’t live up there. However, if I ever find myself in a similar situation I know exactly who to call!

This is a trash company. I have done business with them for years. I have taken many vehicles to them. They reported mileage incorrectly on my Lexus RC F and that caused CarFax to declare the car to have odometer rollback. I spoke with a man named Warren who said he was the owner. Jason and Melanie Wade are the owners according to the Better Business Bureau.Today, Warren called me to say he confirmed the mistake and fixed it on their system but doesnt know how to fix it with CarFax. I tried to talk through the situation and he hung up on me.Feel free to do business with them. They seem like a good mechanic shop. The thing is, if something goes wrong, dont expect any help or assistance from them. Good luck!

Frisco Automotive was able to quickly get me in for an inspection for my car registration. They were helpful, efficient, and completed what I needed them to do!

For the most part, it seems that they do a good job repairing the vehicle.My main problem is that they charge you $140 to diagnose the issue. Im fine with that if the customer does not end up doing the repair. However, I shouldnt be charged the $140 when I actually have Frisco Auto do the repair.

Didnt care for the customer service, especially since the customer after me was greeted with pleasantries. I didnt give the company my business to say if they do great work. Excellent customer service.Friendly and forthright.Bill and the team inspected and changed the oil of both of my cars in about an hour. This is a straight forward establishment. I have been here many times and there was never a lack in quality, professionalism, or customer service. I have always been treated like my business was valued and my needs as a customer come first. Prices are reasonable and competitive. It is rare that you don’t get “The Pitch” of all the things that need to be “Fixed” for you car to keep running. Bill gave me all the information I needed and let me know the level of severity of the problem. I have always felt that I have got a fair shake and the diagnosis was honest and accurate. ONLY MECHANICS IN DFW I WOULD EVER USE.

Price of services here are very fair and they did a very good job on my vehicle. I feel though that the customer service aspect could have been better.

A few months ago, I dropped my car off here to have my AC fixed as I hadnt had AC in my car for about 9 months. While it wasnt cheap (didnt expect it to be), they fixed it the day of & the AC was ice cold. With the weather being above normal the last week or so (minus yesterday & today), I turned on the AC but it wasnt blowing cold anymore. I called them up to & they were able to look at it the next day & fixed the issue. Being that they did the initial work, they did not charge me for the follow-up, which I highly appreciate & the biggest reason why Im writing this review as I do not write reviews too often. If I ever have another automotive issue, I am bringing my car here.Also, the staff is awesome & friendly! Guess I shouldve started with that haha.

Extremely happy with my most recent visit. Had a check engine light on my Sequoia and took it to a Toyota dealership where they told me I needed an entirely new air pump and quoted over $2k. I took it Frisco Automotive for another opinion and they fixed it for a mere $200 and said I only needed a replacement air hose. Will certainly keep coming back!

The check engine light came on in my pickup. I towed it to them for repair, it would not start. It turned out to be a sensor on the engine that had failed. They called me with a very high quote but since it didnt run I had little choice to have it repaired.I drove it home (a few blocks away) and parked it. As I seldomly use the truck it sat for a couple months. I recently needed it and drove less than a half mile before it died and would not restart. So in total I had driven it less than a mile since repair. Stranded now on the highway, I plugged my diagnostic tool told me it was the same sensor.I called Frisco Automotive and informed them of the situation of being stranded on the road, in trafffic. They offered no help and said they would not send someone out to look at why it quit. They did tell me if I could tow it to a parking lot they would tow it back for $100.00. Fair enough, I had thought that since this would likely be warrantied work they would not charge me, I was wrong. So I got it pulled into a parking lot and then called them to come get it.Sure enough the part they had installed either failed or came unplugged so there was no charge to get it to run, again.So if you want to drive a mile away and HIRE them to tow it back for a hundred bucks to fix the same problem hire these guys! I also recommend getting a good pair of shoes and a safety vest for the walking you will be doing along the highway:)

First time giving a review to a business based on work NOT done. I have a 8 year old Mazda that was given an unexpected laundry list of items during a multi-point Dealer inspection. I took it into Frisco Automotive for a second opinion and they basically looked at it and said you don’t need to spend a dime and none of the items were needed. So for honesty , communication and just great customer service I give them 5 stars. Shout out to Austin and Warren - you guys just got a lifetime customer as long as I am living in the area..

Scammers. Took car for repairs and they said problem solved. 2 weeks later the same indicator came on and now they are saying they missed something. Ran the same diagnostic test both times but this new problem did not show up the first time. Will never use them again.

I called up to the shop yesterday around 3pm and Bill listened to me ramble about my AC. He scheduled an appointment with the for 11am the following day. While my car was there, Bill and I discussed me needing an oil change, inspection, and the front axel needed repaired/replaced. He never once pressured me into extras, he kept me well informed all along the way and he even started reaching out to help me find a part for my car that I needed from somewhere else. Not only was Bill able to do all of the above, but the shop got my car done several hours faster than what I was originally quoted.I cannot tell you, as a single mom, how much all of Bills help and the shops amazing work helped me! I am grateful I came here after it was recommended by someone else. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone that asks!

Frisco Automotive & Transmission were very kind to me today. I just got new car tags, being new to the area and state, and was trying to install them but the car tags’ bolts were stripped and rusted. So, what seemed a simple task In the tag office parking lot with a screwdriver turned into a nightmare quickly. I pulled into Frisco Automotive & Transmission and asked for help. They were very understanding of my needs; friendly and helpful. They immediately went to work on my car tag dilemma.They had to drill one of the bolts out for me because it was completely rusted and stripped, and no screwdriver on earth even with Superman’s grip was getting that bolt out. They replaced all the bolts and even installed both car tags for me. What a great group of fellows! I will definitely return to Frisco Automotive & Transmission for my oil changes, vehicle inspections, and any other mechanical services that my car may need. I am very thankful for the help and service I received today at Frisco Automotive & Transmission at 6623 Main Street in Frisco, Texas.Give them a try for your vehicle needs and leave as happy as I did.By the way, If you happen to leave the tag office down the street and realize that your bolts are rusted too, these guys can definitely assist you. Can’t say enough about the level of service here. Took my truck to the dealership recommended by my regular mechanic because of coolant leak. Dealership came back with $3600 repair bill and a 1 week time line. Took the truck to the team at Frisco Automotive and they gave me a price of $1700 and could do it the next day. I did some research on the issue and it is a very common problem with my vehicle coolant lines of the turbocharger leaking. Took it in they fixed it up and I headed down the road. Check engine light came on and the turbocharger sounded funny. Called them they said bring it back that evening. They called me first thing the next morning and said it’s fixed come and get it. So I did. Same thing the next day. Took it back the next evening. They fixed that morning and had to me before work. The issue was the other lines that weren’t leaking now that there was full pressure they blew off and had to be replaced. They didn’t charge me an extra dime even though there was extra parts AND they washed my truck for me the last time. Amazing Amazing service and prices. Will only go here going forward. Excellent service and the employees are incredibly nice!! I used to live in Frisco but now live closer to downtown Dallas. I will still drive up to Frisco for them to check out my car whenever I need work any work done big or small. They always do great work and are very friendly. I had an appointment in the area after dropping my car off for an oil change and one of the employees offered to take me there instead of letting me uber. 10/10 highly recommend.

Terrible service! I waited an hour for them to do a simple thing like fix a burned out brake light. They were eating lunch and they never pulled my car into the garage to look at it. Others came in after me and were taken care of. They didnt even apologize!Im adding to this review.....the owner had told me to come in at 1:30 as that would be after the lunch hour (at least thats what I understood), and I wouldnlt have to wait long. I took that to be an appointment. I was there promptly at 1:30 and waited almost (maybe not quite) an hour. After 30 minutes I asked another man who was eating, how much longer it would be and he seemed surprised (as I was also) to see my car still sitting outside the gararge. After another 30 minutes, I said I didnt want to wait any longer. How was I to know, since no one told me. that someone was on his way out that minute to take my car into the garage.!

Horrible customer service, I was judged for being young thinking I didn’t have enough money to pay for the service I was looking for, this was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced, if you liked to be made fun of and be judged this is the place to go. I have never left a review but this was just unacceptable. This was a real customer that walked out of the this automotive shop really disappointed and offended, tries wants to cover up the reality. Most reviews here are positive but look on Yelp and its a different story

We came in to get the CV axle replaced on our MDX. The service was great and prompt; had it back to us before 2pm. Prices were very reasonable and never felt like we were being told about additional issues. We dealt with Bill and will definitely return for future work. Highly recommend!

My Mustang had a faulty fuel pump and caused me to lose power on my way home from work, I arrived at 5:30pm and was greeted warmly and with respect despite it being 30mins till closing. An upfront and honest diagnoses done first thing the next morning, updating me on what was wrong with my car and explaining the possible precautionary steps to make sure I didn’t have to pay more than I needed. Bill was always positive and was able to remember my name and vehicle after only seeing me face-to-face for 10mins when I dropped off my car, something you don’t always get when going to a dealership to get your car repaired. A great place to go to, friendly and high quality. I’ve been in Frisco for 20 years and regret not using their services before.

This has been my go-to auto body shop for years. Every time I step into the shop I feel so welcomed and am confident that whatever problem that I am having will be fixed promptly.Today I got an oil change, but missed my initial appointment. The guys there - Bill specifically - worked with me and still somehow fit me in to their schedule - I was still out within 30 minutes. This is easily the best Auto body shop in Frisco, and possibly in the DFW area.Thank you so much to everyone that works there. You guys are amazing.

I dropped my car off before going on my honeymoon. I was told it would be one thing and asked for a complete diagnostic test to inform me of what was going on with a vehicle I had just purchased. They said it was 1 thing and told me it was going to cost around $2,500. I approved this repair. The day it was done Richard called me on a Friday and said oops that they overlooked what was really needed which was the whole rear end be rebuilt and it was going to add another $2,500. My main thing I asked them about was the noice that was coming from the rear. Completed work was already $2,500 and had I known all of this was overlooked on “accident” from get-go I would’ve taken it to a different shop. He called me and demanded that I make payment over the phone? From 20 years of driving vehicles...you pay when you pick it up. Not when it’s convenient for them. I recently got married and went on my honeymoon. I’m called 3x back to back and texted immediately after 3x back to back on multiple occasions. I come home to this letter today. I’m not sure if this is how they normally treat their customers but if you’re needing a repair I highly suggest you take it to a different shop who isn’t trying to take title on your vehicle. What a joke. Save yourself a headache and go to European service Center. They’re stand up guys and would never play these bullying tactics. I took my vehicle there because it was around the corner and I’m truly surprised how this place is still in business.Edit:It was 2 weeks since my vehicle wasn’t even at your shop for 4 weeks total. The kicker was not diagnosing the vehicle correctly from the get go. When I finally went to go pay they declined me stating they were filing for title. After speaking with an attorney and other REPUTABLE shop owners they told me you were not allowed to do that. They did state the importance of filing for a mechanics lien in the first 30 days. Nothing was granted, no suit was finalized, however, when I went in to pay and pick up my personal property your shop denied that. They told me to call the police to meet me there. After wasting 2 hours of my time and the officers time y’all finally allowed me to pay but demanded it be in cash. You might talk with your managers because apparently the owner is not there for Their clients. I was told by multiple people that they were the GM. Very dishonest and no integrity.

They looked at my suspension since Discount Tires would not rotate my tires. Nothing was wrong. They didnt try to charge me for something I didnt need. They rotated my tires and gave my car an oil change that I requested, looked my vehicle over for safety before a road trip. I will continue to use them for car repairs.

I am indebted to Frisco Automotive.I pulled up with oil spewing out of my car from above the splash guard and within 30 minutes were able to hoist it up and tell me what the problem was in the middle of a busy day. This shop is always busy, and hard to get into without an appointment, not a bad thing at all; tells me they keep a current and new customer base. The shop is always clean, and brightly lit, allowing for a visual into whats going on; not like a dungeon the other guy has, leaving you with a bleeding wallet.I have had 4 visits in the last 8 months, all good experiences, I even had the shop tell me what an issue was on my Jeep, then I fixed it myself, with after their assessment. I have never had a reason to believe they werent being honest, they wont nickle and dime you, and the shop does great work, always providing alternatives; even the mechanics engage the customer.

I had a flat tire and even though their shop does not change tires, they told me to come in. They checked the tire, put on the spare and did not charge me at all. Joey and the manager could not have been more kind. I was so appreciative of their kindness, especially on this 100 degree day.

Their level of professionalism goes above and beyond what is to be expected these days.Reasonably priced. Saved $100.00 by getting my clutch fan replaced with them. We have been bringing our cars here now for at least three years. When it is fixed it is fixed correctly and in a timely manner. Highly recommend this repair shop.

Came in for my state inspection and the service was fast an amazing! There was two gentleman in the front who were very friendly and nice. While they got my information a young gentleman got my keys and started working on my car. I am not one who likes sitting in a car repair shop and this place was unbelievably fast. They were nice and explained everything to me throughly. I would highly recommended this place they are fair and honest.

First time I went to auto repair and left with more problems than I went in with.

Reputable mechanic that fixed my coolant leak after the guys at a chain replaced my entire thermostat and thermostat housing for hundreds of dollars to no avail. The problem was just a faulty hose connection! FA&T spotted the issue within the hour of arrival, and sent me on my way that night!

The owner genuinely wants to make things right if you have an issue with the service. Not to mention they are friendly and fast. They really do care a lot. Would recommend.

Great service...again! These guys were working on generator power after the big storms knocked out power in Frisco. They didnt miss a beat. I got my inspection done and by the time I had to get my oil changed, the power was restored. The team at Frisco Automotive is comprised of top notch people. After my 2017 Altima ran over some leftover construction equipment, my front under-engine splash guard was partially torn off. I called to ask about it and Bill recommended I come in when they typically not crowded. When I got there, Bill was able to get it on a lift, secure all broken/missing fasteners and I drove away 15 minutes later with no charge.This is the second car Ive taken to Frisco Automotive and my experience with Bill is normal; they want to do a good job at a fair price and to build good relationships with customers.

I needed to have some ball joints installed on my vehicle that I purchased and i called to get a price for labor and taxes and they said they could not do it because I didnt buy the ball joints from them. Dont expect any future business from me

I came in to get a state inspection done on my car, and not only were the guys at the front really chill, but the service technicians were very quick about the service. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and was done properly. Also, the owner is absolutely cool, and I would encourage anyone who has any issues with their car to come here first.

Couple of things Im looking for when I take my vehicle in for service. First, do they do good quality work? Check - Frisco Automotive technicians are excellent. Second, are they trustworthy? Check - Frisco Automotive isnt looking to up-sale anyone. Now, they will make recommendations on work that you need to consider, but I never feel pressured, just informed and thankful that they are looking out for the well-being of my vehicle and, by extension, my family. Finally, are they friendly? Check. Warren, Jason and the team are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. If you are looking for a team that you can trust with your car and your cash (car repairs that are cheap are usually cheap...know what I mean?), I would highly recommend Frisco Automotive.

My best arent they great? story is when I broke down and another garage quoted me more than $2,000 in repairs - I went to Frisco Auto and they repaired it for less than $200. With service like that, Ill never go anywhere else.

Have gone here twice for my inspection since I moved to Frisco, this was obviously a year apart for each, but both times the staff was all smiles and very welcoming, price is great and the wait time (Ive never made an appointment) was minimal. Will definitely go again. They deserve all of the great reviews theyre getting 👌*Edit on my 3rd year coming back. Staff is still so quick and cordial. Handed my keys over for my annual inspection at 2:46 and was back in my car at 2:57, and I didnt even have an appointment.

I was turned away from several dealerships the day before Thanksgiving who were either too busy to even listen to me or said they could not help. The plastic lining of my wheel well had torn and when I drove it was rubbing on my tire. I called Frisco Automotive and Bill Devine listened and told me to come on in. When I arrived he personally assisted me. Mr. Divine was dressed in regular business professional attire and didn’t hesitate to get on the ground and take a look. He grabbed a tool and corrected the problem so that I could get on the road for Thanksgiving. Despite the fact that they were obviously busy, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and he refused to take any payment. I will definitely be returning to Frisco Automotive in the future and I would highly recommend to anyone!

Ive been bringing my trucks to Jason and his crew for years for mainly two reasons, honesty and exceptional service. Great example, I called with my truck not starting. Rather than having it get towed in, they know me well enough I could handle the repair so explained what it was and a trick to get it started one last time on that starter.These guys know exactly what great service is and practice it everyday.

I just moved to Frisco from San Antonio last month. This past week, my BMW was due for an oil change and I had to find a new local shop to get it done at. After coming across Frisco Automotive, I brought my BMW in and was pleasantly surprised to see the price of the oil change is significantly less than that of my old repair shop.Will definitely be bringing my BMW back here in the future.

Brakes Plus across from Sams, Plano told me they wouldnt do a front end alignment because my tie rods were loose, and they wanted $200 to repair. My normal auto repair place is Frisco Automotive, so I took my 2006 Buick there. They told me there wasnt anything wrong with my tie rods. They are honest and friendly, and saved me lots of money.
