Great service. We needed to swap out a 10 truck for a 20 truck during the end of the month and Heath was able to reimburse us and find a 20 truck in the area. :)

There is a Christine as manager who hung up on me because I told her to check her tone after returning my call because I wanted to file a complaint on a miserable person named Shelly who also hung up on me.. she claimed to be the manager but then had someone follow up.. worst customer service ever they are the definition of working for the pay check.. reality check someone else will gladly do the job if you quit!! Don’t do it go to Penske!!!

Just go somewhere else if you dont want waste your time, employees at this location are slow. Employee dont seem happy, want to work, care much at all. check it out for yourself, be prepared waste at least an hour.

Terrible service. Employee couldn’t tell me where the manager was so as to get my propane tank filled. Waited 20 min and then left. There were potential customers coming and going due to only one person providing service. U haul should pay closer attention to the lack of minimal service at this location. As I write this, there are 7-8 others waiting the poor fella. Unfortunately, this isn’t an unusual occurrence at this location.

I feel bad for not remembering his name but the Asian guy was super helpful and friendly. He took the time to listen to our needs and made every effort to see that they were met A+. Aside from that, the business is always clean both inside and out, it is always well stocked and the employees are knowledgeable.

This was not the best U-HAUL experience...I find myself helping people move often, and this particular location had one of the more straight forward return processes so I was mildly infuriated when nobody was out to help with the return/inspection. The vehicle we rented did not have as much gas as we needed for the short move meaning: I had to go out of my way to refill the tank when it would have been cheaper to pay them for the mileage. My experience may differ from yours so I recommend leaving a review if my rating seems disagreeable or unfair. Something I will commend the employees on is their covid safety protocols when cleaning the vehicles.

Completely horrible experience. When we picked up our UHAUL it was out of gas (according to the employees, the trucks there often get their gas siphoned) but because it was able to start, they had us take it. Well, on the way to our place (not ten miles away) it runs out of gas on the highway! I have a toddler and out family was waiting for us to start the move, so I went and got gas in a portable tank and brought it to my husband in the Highway, because we knew it would be faster than the drivers assistance. This delayed us an hour!Then I called Uhaul to tell them this happened and to be reimbursed for the gas cans and the trouble, and to complain that the truck was EMPTY—but guess what, you can’t call the store directly. I had to call customer service. After ten minutes, someone answers and transfers me. I had to wait in hold another fifty minutes, totaling an hour, only for the person to tell me I should have called the road assistance. This is after I was on hold for an HOUR and had been transferred to THIS person! Now I had been delayed for this move by two hours, there’s no way I was going to be on hold again. Plus, because my husband’s name was on the account and not mine, he had to call. He had to go back to the store (he forgot the dolly) and decided to just talk to them there, but they were unkind and told him he should have called drivers assistance. However, the rest of the day he was busy moving and didn’t have time to be on hold, and couldn’t call that day, so we’re out of luck.

Useless company. We reserved a 6x12 trailer 3 days ago and at 445pm while picking it up, we found out for the 3rd time in a row our reservation was given to someone else leaving us with nothing. On top of all that we waited for 30 minutes while two guys moved trucks around for no reason other than to park it, while there are several customers inside their shop waiting for their help, very very unprofessional. I will be reaching out to corporate and informing them of your unprofessionalism.

The customer service communication model is insane. Once you are booked, there is no regard for your time or their word. They wont even answer the phone when inquiring about their delay, instead routing it to customer service reps who also cant find out what is going on.

All the other one stars pretty much summed it up. Worse experience I’ve had. Customer service is horrible! I rented a ubox from them because all their storage units were taken. Was not aware of the 24 hour notice to access it, I was able to access it before w/out an issue. But the day I really needed to get in there (storage was for my son who’s in the air force) because my son was actually in town and was able to pick up his stuff, they refused to go get the box for me cause I didn’t give them 24 hour notice. I understand, rules are rules, but why did they allow me to access it all the other times w no problem? And the guy is just rude! Period! I think his name is Heath. And it’s always the sam guy that helps me when I do go! So my son will be flying back to the base w/out his belongings because rules are rules! I won’t be dealing with this company ever again. There are plenty of mom and pops places that I will be giving my money to.

The employees- all of them werent wearing masks. I was told I could pick up a trailer and complete all paperwork from my phone without going inside. My family is high risk for covid so this was a must. Come to find out thats not true with a trailer so I drove all the way across town and wasted 1.5 hours on my second to lay day of moving. Order was screwed up also like everytime Ive rented from uhaul. Rent elsewhere if you can because they are a bunch of incompetent fools.

Worst place to go if you seriously need something even when they are open. Most of the time workers drag their feet wasting time so they can avoid you. Older male wearing glasses made excuse after excuse on propane being closed, an hour and a half before closing. Smh

Wife called from store in a panic saying our debit card got declined for truck rental renewal by our bank. Wasnt true. Called bank to confirm and card was okay. It was getting rejected by U-Haul for no reason at all. Bizarre. Youd think they would like to get paid. Tried calling back the store to talk to wife and got run around seven times with their number referring back to the U-Haul reservation center. I finally had to give up trying to reach my wife at the store. Nobody ever answers their phone, always refers to the call reservation center and they cant do anything.

This UHaul has a land mine of trailer hitch components to destroy your car in the parking lot. Instead of using cones they use these metal 12 foot pieces to deter cars from parking in certain areas. My husband backed up into one and my beautiful car now needs a new transmission. It caused $4,983.00 damage to my car. A parking lot should be a safe place. Not a place that is a land mine in war!

I gave a one star because, that was the lowest mark I could give. I went in to have a towing hitch installed on November 22 2018. The person that help me said that the had the hitch but, they would need to order the wiring for the lights and set a date for December 1 2918 to install the hitch. I went in on that day and the person at the counter had no idea what he was looking for or find what he was looking for. After 30 minutes of watching the person behind the counter trying find my order he, came up with the answer! The wiring will be in on December 6 2018. I reset the appointment for December 8 2018. I called December 7 2018 and the person at the counter said the wiring didn’t come in yet. WOW!!! This place seems to be like pep boys, all took no customer service. Not even, ( I’m sorry)

Pretty sure they took advantage of me because I had dropped the truck off after hours. They claimed I damaged the stickers and charged be for it. Also the guy at check-out seemed like he didnt know what he was doing. Bad experience for me all around. They also charged me for an extra day that i didnt have the truck. Throw the whole location away!!!

This is by far the worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. The rep no only yelled at my wife but two more customers while we were waiting. The truck was on E when we got it. We barely got to a gas station. It took more than 45 minutes at the pickup and 40 at the drop off. The two reps at the counter were rude, told my wife she didnt know what she was talking about. Told us our bank was wrong, even if weve been banking for years.Ill never deal with UHaul again.

I rented a 10 truck and they didnt have it. So they upgraded me to a 14 truck. There was a problem with a faulty buzzer in the truck and they remedied that problem as well. The bottom line is they were accommodating to my needs. The trucks were clean and ready on time. I had a positive experience here. I would recommend this store to anyone who needed a U-Haul.

Pros: Friendly Staff especially (Sam), free upgrade.Cons: Waited 45 minutes to be helped, truck was poorly kept and on emptyI reserved a 20 truck approximately 2 weeks prior to moving. Apparently someone failed to return my 20 truck on time so I was given a free upgrade to a 26 truck. Uhaul opened at 7am which was great because I wanted to get started early before it got too hot. I arrived at 7am and had to wait 45 minutes to be helped because only one person was working at that hour. His name was Sam and he was very nice and professional.I was given a truck that was completely on empty, actually every truck was on empty. The staff blamed it on the area they are in. Said that gas is regualarly siphoned from their tanks. They could probably solve that problem with a $10.00 lock cap instead of passing the burden on to the customer. Anyhow, it was a huge inconvenience and stressful driving a 26 truck to a gas station that could run out at anytime.I was offered a $36.00 credit off my bill if I brought the truck back with 1/4 a tank of gas. The manager assurred me that approx 6 gallons would add up to 1/4 a tank . I put 7 gallons in the tank that cost me about $30.00. The dial never moved from empty. In order to receive my $36.00 credit, I would have had to put approx $60.00 in the tank. Not!There was no walk around inspection with the staff and the truck was so beat up that I paid extra for every insurance they offered to eliminate any possibility of being charged for damage that I didnt do. Lastly, the truck bounced around so much that my well packed and stacked boxes were tossed around breaking a few item .I would still use Uhaul as a last resort if all other options were exhausted. I would absolutely use a different location. Thats my experience

I will never come back here again. This is the second time I have had problems at this location and the manager is rude and careless. Last year they gave away the storage unit I reserved to someone else. When they told the manager he said oh well. This time around I preordered a truck. When I arrived I was given a dirty truck with NO FUEL. The paperwork said 1/4 tank. When I let the associate know, he said, fill it up and we will credit you. I took off with it and drove about 2 miles. Then, the fuel light kicked on and 4 blocks later it left me on the side of the road. It wouldn’t even make it to the gas station I was taking it to. The fuel sensors are clearly off. I was given dirty and faulty equipment and the manager said it was MY FAULT because i didn’t fuel the truck as soon as I left the lot. As there is one down the street assuming I drove in that direction, which I clearly did not nor did I have a fuel card to that specific gas company. He said it isn’t his fault the windshield was filthy and that someone probably siphoned fuel from his truck and told the associate to give me a $20 discount because “he wasn’t going to sit here and go around like this”. If I preorder my truck it should be ready when I pick it up. This is common sense. I will never return to this location and, as soon as the offices open, I will be contacting corporate. I had to pay my movers for an extra hour because I spent 45 minutes on the side of the road until help came to fuel the truck. For all the trouble he gave me $20 off and since I didn’t use the mattress pads, $10 of that was technically the discount. I have always used uhaul for my moves but the last two times this location has really screwed me.

We, too, have experienced massive incompetency at U-Haul, which began here at this location. They made a mistake in how they charged us and then accused us of stealing their trailer. We have been unable to get this resolved with the corporate office who wont even return phone calls and have sent us to collections. We are currently not recommending U-Haul if you can avoid using them. They are engaging in poor business practices, horrific customer service, and predatory collections. We have been trying for months to clear up our account with them to no avail. Look for other options.

I had to store my uBoxes at 749 Blackstone in Fresno, California for 11 months while I searched for an apartment. Though I was supposed to have access to my uBoxes during that time, I was did not. The location requires 24 hours notice to access your uBoxes and never answers their phone in order to allow you to arrange 24 hours notice. If you go down to the location to arrange notice, when you arrive at the arranged time, you will find that there is no record in the system of your previous visit and arrangement, even if you call a couple hours before the prearranged time to verify that your uBox will be ready for access.This location is IMPOSSIBLE to work with. The Manager, Heath, acts like customers are a nuisance and that he has far more important things to do, and that he cant take the time to assist in any way or resolve any issues. He straight out insults customers and accuses them of lying. He frequently requests a call back immediately in messages and then is never available, even IF someone at the location answers the phone.Corporate is more than willing to message or email him to request that he contact you, but these messages go universally unanswered.This district manager is equally uncooperative and accused me of lying when I had called the location over and over again for an hour and a half straight, informing me that the calls also ring in her office. After physically arriving at the location, I stood at the front desk (which was unmanned) and called the location 3 times and listened to the phones ring, unanswered, all three times until each call was automatically transferred to corporate.This is not an isolated incident and is my consistent experience over the last year, along with the experience of everyone I have complained about uHaul to since moving to Fresno.Though I had pre-arranged my uBoxes to be ready to be transported to my new apartment today, and despite calling again this morning and confirming my reservation and verifying that everything was going to be available for the moving company I had hired, it was, in fact, not ready at the arranged time and the location refused to release my boxes or prepare them until a $5 fee I had not been informed of was paid. They refused to accept payment from the movers I had hired, and Heath, the manager, stood idly outside the glass doors while the movers I hired listened to the phone inside ring over and over again (corporate could not accept my payment and was unaware of any fee), and when the mover called me and attempted to give his phone to the manager so he could take my payment, the manager turned and left instead of accepting his phone and taking my payment.I had to hire an Uber to go down to the uHauls physical location in order to pay this $5 fee (costing me an additional $30) in order to pay it.That is COMPLETELY and TOTALLY unreasonable and I will absolutely never work with uHaul again simply because the number of times I have complained about this location, the number of corporate customer service representatives who have told me how many complaints they have received already about this location, and the terrible reputation this location has among other companies in Fresno - Not to mention that I was completely unable to access any of my property, despite paying $120 a month for storage including access, for the last 11 months AS WELL AS being unable to move my property to another storage facility (due to lack of access) and the rudeness, insults, and complete disregard Ive dealt with from management at this location and apathy from corporate.The boxes I stored in my uBoxes at this location have water damage and many were falling apart as a result when we unpacked the uBoxes and there were mouse droppings all over my items. So in addition to not being able to access my items and refusing to release them to me or allowing me to transfer them to any other location (I tried), the uBoxes themselves are not secure.This is my worst experience dealing with any company ever and I will never work with uHaul again.

The worst uhaul in fresno, they charged my account 28 bucks plus the rental cost. I have charge on my contract one price on my form. Waiting for a call back from customer service. Will never use this store ever again. Customer service is horrible here very rude, dont reccomend this locatiom to anyone. The manager here is very unprofessionl and the other worker is very rude. The receptionist hung up on me twice when I balked at giving them my name, my cell phone number, and my e-mail before they would give me a quote. The third time, someone else took my call, and told me it would cost me $94 to rent a 12 ft trailer for a day. I see on the U Haul website that it actually costs $24. So, is U Haul in the data collection business now? Extremely annoying, and not helpful!

This was the most incompetent and slowest group . I have seen , their customer service is very poor . They are rude , they run outside to avoid their customers . I would suggest not going there un less you have no plans for that day . All I came in for is a simple trailer hitch install . It was a whole day a fair .
