Easy and fair price

I wish half a Star was possible for this review. Is it?So I go to the site as it’s the most convenient open location for me at the time. Issue is I need a plug on a tread on one of my tires. Simple $15 transaction ; shouldn’t be a problem. So I think.After the job is done I suspect there’s not sufficient air in the tire cause the tire is still leaning. But I’m optimistic and trusting of this shop so I think otherwise.I get to Sheetz to ensure the tire is riding fine w/ sufficient PSI and I’m riding on rim!I have to put back on the spare tire I came to the shop with and ride back to the location. I speak with the same gentleman (glad I can’t remember his name) and explain to him the situation. In our exchange of explanation the guy gets smart mouth “Didn’t I say it was patched already?!” And I’m like “Whoa man , I’m just trying to make sure cause if you did as it was on the tread than it shouldn’t be riding on rim.”“Well didn’t I say i did??”“Man I’m the customer— I’m the one who need assurance / explanation for this.”Raising his voice going back & forth with me. Goodness if I didn’t have decency if not me, someone would have laid him out the way he was talking to me. Goodness gracious...Eventually another member of the location comes out, solves and explains the situation to me. And hands me my $15 back. I started with this review with 1 star really wanting 1/2 a star but I’ll end with 2 only because the $15 was granted back to me— regardless of the amount it’s about providing the customer some kind of justification for the inappropriate conduct towards a NEW customer at that.Will not be taking my car back to this location and. would not recommend this to anyone.

Ive taken my cars to a ton of different mechanics in Fredericksburg over the years, but these guys are the only ones I trust.I recently had to get a lot of different things fixed on my Audi S4 B5.Despite the stigma of foreign cars being expensive to fix this shops prices have been dramatically less than any other mechanic. The prices are even better than what I used to pay for repairs on my last American car.No one likes having to get their car repaired, but these guys know their stuff and their work has been flawless so far.Wishful thinking has me wanting to say I hope I never have to take my car there again, but cars break down all the time, and this is the place Ill be going back to.

I went here for a car inspection in July 2013. They told me they could not pass it because my right front ball joint was bad. Ok, fine, it may be possible because it was after all, an old car.So I drove it home and had a friend repair the right front ball joint. He said their was nothing wrong with it, I had him do it anyway, to a cost of about $400.In VA you have 10 days to get the car re-inspected and they can only check the issue they flagged. I went back after about 3 weeks so they re-inspected the whole car. This time it was the left front ball joint. When i said to the guy it was fine three weeks ago he told me that I was the one who was wrong and he said the left front ball joint was bad.So I showed him the inspection report that HE WROTE clearly stating the right front ball joint. Then he said oops, I must have made a mistake, I meant the left front ball joint. He gave me a $500 estimate to have his shop repair it.I said screw this, then took my car to a different mechanic to have it inspected. They found absolutely nothing wrong with the car.Do NOT USE THESE GUYS! They are lying, and running an illegal operation, telling you your car is broken so you pay them money to do absolutely nothing!

I was doing a google search for an affordable automobile repair shop and I found Pitts Automotive. I needed wheel Bearings replaced. I called and set up a time to bring my car in for service. I had to leave my car but thats most repair shops. This is my first dealing with this repair shop and I can say that I am well pleased. The loud noise is gone and my car rides as smooth as it did when I purchased it. 4star. Misty

1st time I have used this shop. My car broke down in my driveway. They towed it to there shop and fixed it. Runs great now. The cost of repairs wasnt overwhelming for what they did.

Found different repair then the one it truly needed

Called Friday December 4th 2014 asking if they could run a state inspection on my vehicle, the gentleman told me sorry not today, but I can tomorrow I asked what time do you open he said 8AM. I arrived Saturday morning 10 mins before 8AM the gentleman didnt greet me (no big deal) so I said Good Morning and that I needed an inspection done. He rudely responded We cant do that today I told him that I spoke to him yesterday and he told me to come in at 8AM. He continued to talk over me rudely No I cant today . WOW! Nice business, dont even bother

They charged me $320 for an oil change. I asked for an itemized receipt which caused a fight. Worst experience Ive ever had with a mechanic. Avoid this place like the plague. Lazy, sneaky, and untrustworthy.

Got my car inspected here. They failed it for back brakes and because my fan belt was covered in oil. Lol. So i replaced my back brakes and plan to take it back. They can not fail my car in the state of virginia for a fan belt.

I would leave a negative 5 if I could. I had them tow a 2013 ford edge because it wouldnt start. I was told oh yeah we can run the diagnostic and will definitely find out whats wrong and fix it. Well I called and they said be there in 30 min. 30 mins no show 30 more mins no show call back and Ricky says be there in 10. Lets just say it was another hour and a half before they showed up ( I only live 1.9 miles away). Then it didnt even get diagnosed til they next day. The next day I call and Ricky says oh i think its the BCM. First off I dont pay for someone who says they can fix it for what you think. You need to know or stick to the basics and dont tell people you know how to do something you dont know or dont have the tools to. I then decide to have it towed to Purvis (mind you this is the second day it was there around 1pm and the guy that answered cause Ricky was at lunch says he will tow it in a few minutes) its 11am on the third day and it still hasnt been towed. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!Update: so finally they towed to the dealership and the unproffessional idiots couldnt even be bothered to put the car back together how it was when they got it they just left everything all over the place costing me more money at the ford place. Very unprofessional very rude and a bunch of liarsThey will steal your money and do bare minimum work save your money and time and go elsewhere.

I called to pick a car up told its ready show up its not than Im told I can f,ing wait in my truck and f,ing wait on them. Real nice way to run a shop. I wouldnt recommend using them to anyone.
