Mr. Tire in Fredericksburg is an excellent place automobile maintenance. The entire staff is customer focused and provide you with the real deal regarding any work being done on your car. I do not normally recommend products or services to people but in this case I would make an exception. I have been a Mr. Tire customer since 2012 when I relocated to this area, and I think it was one of the better decisions that I have made

Staff was rude and condescending. Brought in a friends car for inspection who has been in the ICU for several weeks. I understand its the end of the month, but obviously circumstances have dictated that this just wasnt possible in this situation. After telling me there was no availability and that Id have to leave the car for three days before they inspected it--which is a situation completely unique to this area as Ive never had this issue with my own vehicle inspection even on the last day of the month as its all first come, first serve on the day of--the employee made a comment about how I shouldnt wait until the end of the month. Yes, I get it, but yall could be a bit more human about it. It says a lot about you and your management that you feel good being rude to customers. What does it cost you not to say anything? Nothing. You have no idea what people are going through.

Everyone I talked to from Wilson to Milton to checking out... provided great service. My car was ready quick and never tried to sell me anything I didnt need. i would highly recommend Mr. Tire! Ill be back!

Very fast and great service by the techs when I had my oil changed here. They let me know some services that I will need in the near future and I will definitely return to have them done.

I went back the next day after getting an inspection and my tires replaced because the low tire pressure light came on. Not only did the techs fix that quickly but they also turned off my inspection warning notice. Great service!

Worst service ever had a oil pan leak all they had to do was check the oil pan they claim that the car wasn’t leaking or any more they kept my car for three days and didn’t do anything to it! Won’t recommend! They told me I had a transmission problem, took it to the dealership and the oil was overfilled! Wow! Thanks mr. tire! I will never go to this place again! Traveling back to Maryland I got a flat tire and I was loosing air pressure pretty quickly, I pulled off and discovered a metal object in my right rear tire. I called the store asking if they had an open appointment for today for a flat repair and was told yes and to come in! When I arrived about 30 minutes later I was told that all the techs left and only the manager on duty was there for the remainder of the day. I arrived at the store at 4:30pm and it doesn’t close until 6pm and I was told to come in. If I wasn’t told that I would of continued to call around and not waste my time driving to the store.I quickly googled nearby tire stores and found Firestone right down the street. Without calling them I went by Firestone to see if they could take care of me, and their answer was yes! They fixed me up for half the price I was quoted and actually took care of me! Thank you Firestone! If you’re looking for a tire store, go Google Firestone and they will help you out and are extremely friendly!

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE ONLY USING OEM!! I made an appointment, told them I had my own new tires, when I arrived they informed me they could only put the manufacturer specified tires on any car even though I have completely different size wheels. I could have been informed of this policy before rearranging my whole day to get there.

Absolutely horrible experience here. I waited 4 hours for them to call to tell me that my rim was cracked. Then brought them a new a rim to tell me they can’t put my tire back on because it was unsafe even though the tech said it was fine but the old man in charge wouldn’t let him do it. They also let me leave with a cracked rim. I then went to a different tire shop for them to put the new rim. They didn’t offer me a new tire and wasted my time. Do not go here!

I came in at 4 pm on a Saturday (they close at 7 pm) to see if they were still giving inspections. No one else was there and I came in and both of the guys at the front barely even acknowledged me. I said hi, and no one said anything back. I asked if they were giving inspections today and he just said no. So I asked about Sunday and he said no as well, they will Monday. So I said “okay, thank you” and still no acknowledgement. Pretty rude. And I’ve been to them in the past when they were nice and honestly they’re overpriced compared to other auto shops in the area.

I came in today to have a oil change and some minor mechanical work to my vehicle, while here I had a conversation with Wilson who was working the counter I informed Wilson I would be heading out of town for a couple months to visit one of me daughters, he had the mechanic who was doing the work to my vehicle he & Wilson checked my vehicle over and he informed me that my rear brake pads were low, he priced what it would cost so I had that issue resolved, I have been bringing my vehicle here for approximately 2 years as these people here are always very pleasant and look out for their customers.. Thank you Wilson ..

Mr Tire Auto Service Centers at Harrison Road has always exceeded my expectations in both the quality and the range of services they provide. I regret sticking with other dealers and not coming to Mr Tire earlier. Thanks to them and their thorough, knowledgeable and customer-focused approach, my car runs great and always on top of it’s performance. There’s no better place.

Love Milton but the last 2 visits did not go great. Got quoted 2 different times on 2 different things and then changed the quote on both. I will give them another chance and hope it goes smoothly next time. Was a 4 star , changed it to a 3 star.

I had 4 brand new General tires put on my Ford Edge. Being that I had no one to pick me up, I had to wait. The manager saw me waiting and asked if anyone was picking me up and I said no I will wait. He managed to work my vehicle in even with the other cars they had to work on. He did this so I would not have to wait all day. He was very professional as were the mechanics that did the job. Car drives and tires perform great. I am very happy and will recommend this shop to others.

Went to extreme searches to find things wrong with car. Told me I needed new drums. Arent the worst. Said one back seat belt buck did not work. Who checks that? One of my lights on back tag did not work. Tag is more than readable. Never been through that tedious of inspection ever. Totally my last time.

Worst customer service ever. I had a terrible experience at Mr. Tire. When I arrived for service the mental midget manager told me to look at his computer screen, and actually asked me to show him where my name was scheduled for an appointment. How freaking rude is that? I advised him that I called and asked for him the other day. I was told he was not in. I advised the guy that I needed a simple oil change, and I could drop my vehicle off. He said it was no problem if I was going to drop it off. I advised the so-called manager that his guy obviously failed to log my appointment. The so-called manager claimed they couldnt help me because they only had one mechanic. I told him that he needed to do something about his guy failing to log my appointment. He actually said that it wasnt the guys fault. I had to explain to him how his guy was at fault, because he wasnt quick enough to understand why he was at fault. This so-called Manager didnt even care to help find me another Mr. Tire store that could help me. They certainly lost my business. Youd be better off not having your time waisted, and take your business elsewhere! I sure did!!

I’ve been to Mr. Tire several times for oil changes and also a brake line flush. Milton and Don (I think that’s his name) are absolutely delightful and extremely helpful. Their services and products are priced fairly and they do everything they can to look out for you as a customer. I will always bring my car to Mr. Tire for servicing and highly recommend them to others.UDATE - 11/6/20In May of this year I purchased new tires with the road hazard warranty package. Since then I have gone back to Mr. Tire for new brakes on my husbands truck and my car, which were well priced and installed without issue. After getting new brakes on my car, I noticed a thumping noise while driving. I took my car back the next day to have them look over it and was told there was an issue with one of my tires. After explaining how worried I was about being safe, Milton handled my issues to ensure everything was fixed. I appreciate how professional and down to earth everyone is there, and how they put safety first. Leo has also always been so helpful anytime I call with questions. I trust their judgment and will always recommend this location to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle.

Avoid this place!The only positive comment I can give is that he people there are genuine good people. Other than that, I had multiple issues just to put tires on my vehicle. The continued to run into challenges they caused (braking bolts during alignment and incorrectly fixing the emergency break-that I didnt even ask them to touch). After two weeks of going back in and out trying to resolve the problems they caused I then reviewed my credit card statement and they double charged me! ($1,074.00)...which was a different amount than the original charge. Then, the shop could not fix the over-charge without going to corporate. Corporate offices were desynched. The district manager could not reach each departments except by email. They were unable to resolve my overcharge at day three! I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company.I totaled at least 1 full day of extra hassle, uber charges to get back and forth, unproductive work time within my job....ect.We will not be back...not even to rotate tires. I have zero confidence in this company from bottom to top!

I took my car to the state inspection and only because the inspection did not pass because the tires were worn, the man who attended to me wanted me to buy the tires there and as I did not want to be upset. You are not obliged to buy the tires there, thats why there are places where you can get them at a more affordable price, pay half of what they charged. Freedom of choice. I will not go back there.

The staff at Harrison Rd (#1004) was very helpful and honest with repairs (brakes) that needed to be done now and ones that could wait. I really appreciated the honesty and not feeling like they were taking advantage of me. I definitely will bring my car back to them and have them do the other repairs.

VERY poor customer service! I was refused service because I did not have a mask. I explained I have a severe breathing problem that makes wearing a mask difficult. The manager didnt care. I asked so you dont want my business? No, we dont want your business. Its a shame the manager is unwilling to serve all customers with respect and professionalism. I manage a fleet of vehicles and I will never take a single one to this shop again.

This place is awesome, they do customer service the right way. Theyve got great reviews for a reason. Great customer service, gave me a discount on my alignment just because. Asked them to take a look at my brake pads, they couldve told me I needed replacements to get an extra payday. But instead were honest and had the integrity to tell me they were good for now. Good prices, honest, and quick working, couldnt ask for more. Ill be coming back here from now on.

I have been going to Mr Tire for years now and Mr Milton (Manager) and Mr. Mike have always provided exceptional service. They are honest, knowledgeable and extremely professional. They take the time to service all my vehicles thoroughly and are able to give me quotes upfront if I need any type of repairs. I have never left feeling that they have overcharged me or have come up with some fictitious problem to get more money out of me. In fact, they have gone out of their way to provide me with coupons to save me money when ever possible. I would strongly recommend that they be your first stop for any of your service/tire needs.

Went in today unsure if I needed an alignment or wheel balance. Don was very helpful and explained what the signs of needing an alignment versus wheel balance. Appreciate the info and him not trying to sell me a service I didnt need! Excellent service!

These guys are awesome! I dropped my car off right before closing then, the next morning I got a call letting me know it was ready. They are all so courteous and welcoming! I came in right at 7:00a when they opened hoping to get an oil change before i went into work (i work a very busy schedule) and was told they are all booked up for oil changes until the later evening.Milton was able to pull some strings and i was able to get my oil change well before i needed to go into work. I have been going to this location for years and have never been disappointed by their customer service and work!

After being a customer for “several years” I became tired that they always was asking the same info on the same vehicle. They never could find the info from the last time I was there and always said it was a computer issue. For a service shop not know or have a record that could be easily found is a problem.I don’t go here now because of that. When I did , I feel they did good service.Other local shops pull up info by the license plate number or my name and refer to me by name then. Very professional. I don’t know why Mr Tire always had problems and never could find me in the system, but I got tired of that and went elsewhere.Sorry

Being new to the area, it is always nerve wracking having to find new services that do good work at reasonable cost, but most importantly, that you can trust. I was very, very impressed with the staff at the facility, they were professional and friendly wanting to make sure I was completely comfortable and informed throughout the process. The speed at which they performed the service was also terrific, most importantly, on time with the appointment I scheduled. Developed a slow tire leak while on a long road trip. We arrived close to closing time after stopping at two other businesses that were unable to locate the problem. The entire crew worked with us until the leak was located and solved. We appreciate their professionalism and the kindness we were shown. I highly recommend Mr. Tire 1004. Really disappointed, and surprised by integrity of the store. I was in the need of a new set of tires, I stopped by the Mr. Tire and asked for some recommendations, I was provided some good information on quality and various price ranges and specific brand and model numbers. They said they carried them all and they have a 5% beat anybodys price. I shopped around at some local competitors. I did find a local competitor and got a written quote that sold one of the suggested tires from my visit to Mr. Tire at a cheaper price than Mr. Tire. I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Tire and presented the information of the exact same brand, model of a local competitor to them, and was told we dont carry that tire (I have a quote from Mr. Tire for that tire), and that they would not price match or beat the competitors price by 5%. In both a quote by Mr. Tire and a general e-mail advertisement, they say they carry all brands, and that they will beat any price by 5%. Mr. Tire did not Honor their words or actions.Veteran.

Scheduled online for 2:30, on the day of I called to see if there were any earlier time slots and was told my appointment was for 3:00 even though my confirmation clearly showed 2:30. If the scheduled appointment is changed from the original confirmed time it would be good to be contacted and notified of this change. Additionally, it would be nice to be given a time estimate for the completion of the service as I absolutely did not expect my scheduled basic oil change to take 90 minutes. Had I shown up at my original scheduled time I would have been there for 2 hours.

This place was able to get me in at the minute, and finish my state inspection within the half hour. The service and professionalism could not have been better. They even found me a coupon for my service. I would highly recommend this place.

Quick and easy oil change last minute!

Fast service and great employees. Definitely honest about the work they do and the recommendations they give. They were honest about telling me that my back tires still had about 60% of life.

Dont leave your car here to get an inspection done. I left mine at around 9:15 in the morning to get it done. I was told that it would take a couple of hours for them to get to it.No problem I only live about two blocks away.5 hours passed with no call. So I decided to call them. They hadnt even started yet. On average a state inspection should only take a half hour, 45 min tops, to get done. Whatever, Ill give them the benefit of the doubt.I call again an hour later, and was informed that they werent done with it yet. And they confirmed my phone number to call me when it was done.One hour later, still no call. So I called them and got the busy tone. So I started walking over to them.My car was still in the same spot I left it. I got the keys back and was told by the man at the counter that they werent even done with the car that came in before me.Absolutely ridiculous that the had nearly a whole 9-5 to do a half hours worth of work, and never even started.

Friends of mine referred me to Mr. Tire about a year ago. I have always been been very happy when I leave. Prices are really good. John has been very helpful. He was really accommodating for me to switch channels. A small thing but I appreciated it. I was in and out quickly today. I now will refer my friends.

Mr Tire at Harrisons Crossing is the Best. Our mechanic, Jon Benson is the greatest. Jons been our mechanic for over 20 years! Always fair and honest work and pricing.

I have gone to Mr. Tire Fredericksburg since moving to the area 10+ years ago. They have always treated me exceptionally well, great prices compared to others, have never told me I needed something extra and help keep my car on the road 2015 with 103k miles that is working perfectly). I trust them and their opinions. All the mechanics are really nice and will explain whatever details I ask. Love the weekend and evening hours too.

Extremely friendly staff! Came in for an oil change and the front desk applied a $10 off coupon. They noticed my tire was holding pressure, but leaked air of the valve was touched at all and they replaced it for free and made sure it was taken care of. Highly recommended!

I love this place. The manager Milton and service employees are always honest. Several times I’ve came here after being told by a different service center things that I need, and when mentioning it they reassure me that I don’t.It’s refreshing to know that they don’t try and push things for a sale and are focused on doing just what needs to be done for a safe/well running vehicle.
