Came in for a state inspection. The regular inspector was not in so the manager, Ali, was wearing multiple hats - inspecting vehicles, training a new employee, and managing the flow of business and other employees... he was amazing!! So kind and professional through the hectic day and he was able to fit me in to inspect my car. Because of Ali and his team I will be coming back for all my car’s needs. You made a customer for life. While traveling through the area (Fredricksburg, VA) was having major brake issues (sticking and smoking) and although it was near closing time they helped me. A gentleman and his brother stayed almost 3 hours after closing to make sure my brakes were fixed and my vehicle safe to drive. I couldnt express my gratitude and appreciation enough and they were thanking me for being patient!! This place goes above and beyond. If I lived in the area I wouldnt have my vehicle serviced anywhere but here!!!

I was under the impression I needed brakes all around. The professionals at this location insured me that wasn’t the case. I needed only the front done and they also were very transparent during the process of selecting which brand and price would be suitable for the job. I was an early-morning walk-in and needed brake work. I was greeted by Mya, a very nice receptionist. I explained my brake issue and she scheduled me in for an inspection first. After the inspection, it was discovered that I needed new brake pads and a front disc brake rotor. I got a quote for the repair and it was very reasonable. (A few years ago, I used another repair shop in the area and was grossly overcharged and they never fixed my brakes right.) Meineke fixed them correctly.At no extra charge, Meineke topped off my windshield wiper fluid, identified a burned out brake light, and a worn windshield wiper.I am happy with my new brakes and the service I received at Meineke. Again thanks Mya and Brenden. You are appreciated.

This place is great!! I’m from New York and these guys made sure we had absolutely no problems getting back home. If you’re in Fredericksburg VA and you have car trouble definitely come see Ali.

Everyone working here was fantastic. We broke down while out of town and they were the only place that had actual mechanics working on a Sunday. They got us in with no appointment, and did everything in their power to help us out. Would highly recommend and wish we lived in the area to use them regularly.

What I love about Meineke is they dont make up issues to fix that arent really there like most auto repair places.

Friendly professional staff. Needed oil change, tire rotation, inspection. Called ahead to check wait times and was told 45 minutes. Showed up and again was told to give them 45 minutes. Took over an hour for them to bring my car to the bay. Took another 2 hours for them to complete the work. Dont tell a customer 45 minutes and then take 3 hours.They were apologetic about it which allowed me to give them 3 stars.

I went in for a free brake inspection and after waiting two hours, I had to ask him what was going on and he told me my tire was splitting and separating from the axle causing vibration when I brake. I told him, I was told it could be the rotors or wheel baring and he assured me that it was neither.. I listened, gotta used tire that was almost like new just for the vibration to STILL be there. I took it to FIRESTONE in Manassas and they told me, it actually is my rotors, brake pads and I need four brand new tires! I should’ve known not to listen cause while I was there, two customers came back in and said they made their cars worse. One guy said his car was still smoking and one guys automatic starter was completely gone and nothing would pop! I honestly wouldn’t recommend them. He spent most of his time on the phone, which they’re busy, I get it but he kept people waiting and I noticed my keys were returned about an hour before I even spoke up. Highly disappointed!

So my wife took the car in for a state inspection the guy doing the inspection failed the car for grooves in the rotor and then recommended a serpentine belt saying it was showing wear had a bill for $ 700 so I took the car to a mechanic who said the belt was like brand new and my rotors had normal wear ok took it to another mechanic shop who also stated the same thing and passed my car for inspection $20.00 only so please be careful who you choose!!

The service at this meineke on route 1 Fredericksburg Virginia was beyond terrible. The manager of the shop seemed to be more interested in talking to the female in the parking lot, than he was watching the front of the store. That meant that the mechanic was not only in charge of inspecting my truck ,but also taking care of any other customer that were in the store. Thpey did take my truck in within 15 minutes of arrival, however it still took them 2 hours and 10 minutes to make the inspection happen. The attendant was so busy helping customers, that the manager ignored, to make the time for my truck to be completed . My truck did fail inspection, due to ,what the mechanic said ,were calibers. The calibers on the front and rear were replaced less than a year ago. He did not bother to pull the wheels to see if that was actually the problem or not, he just tried to spin the wheels. I feel that the manager did not perform any of the duties that he should have and the mechanic, who took over 2 hours to do the inspection, with my truck on the lift, did reject it. I am taking it to another person for different opinion, to find out why he did reject my truck. The manager did arrive and show up at the front desk to give me an estimate $1,200, and also to collect my $20 inspection fee. I have been a customer of meineke for over 15 years, however ,this is the very last time I will ever step foot in your establishment or use your credit card.

I was very satisfied with the ease of getting my inspection and oil change around my schedule. I was a bit less happy about the wait. I was told auto inspections were first come, first served and I dropped my car off at around 8:15am but it wasn’t finished until 3:30pm. However, the tech kept me informed of the progress. Overall, I am happy and would take my car back, perhaps next tine planning for them to have the car all day. The front counter and tech were helpful and friendly, so 5 stars there.

I brought in my very well maintained 2010 300Touring for a basic oil change. The experience was so awful, Ill never go back. I had been in previously for an all wheel alignment with no issue so I just assumed this would go as smoothly.First. I was NOT fully informed of the cost of service. A basic oil change is $25... i was informed it would be a little more for me as my car takes an extra quart of oil. Ive never been charged extra elsewhere. The total came to more than $10 more... nearly twice the original charge... I didnt learn this until it was done.So as I wait. Theres some hushed conversation between the receptionist and mechanics. Shortly the receptionist explains theyve broken my dipstick, rather than letting me know it was abnormally tight and maybe they shouldnt, and its now lodged in place, and the crew on deck this day isnt qualified to fix it. I would have to bring it back, and they were unsure of the COST of labor.I stopped this short. So. You break my car, and you dont know how much youre going to charge ME to fix it!?I mean. Accountability level? Yes, she was past due on the oil change, but not drastically.Ultimately. They were able to get it out and replaced the dipstick. And still charged me for my oil change.After the level of customer service, as far as the manner in which I was addressed as well as how the situation was handled, in my opinion, it was a poor experience and I will henceforth take my business elsewhere.

He spoke to his team and his team got to work. I on the other hand needed a state inspection and needed a few lightbulbs changed. He helped me in good time, communicated with me every like 20 minutes to let me know why the wait and what he was doing that made this process a bit longer and it was a great experience. I called and got a same day appointment for a headlight bulb replacement and I was in and out in under 20 minutes. They were quick, efficient, and very personable. Getting your car repaired can be an anxiety-producing experience; but, I was pleasantly surprised and anxiety free at this Meineke.

They did work and got me in quick but it was $280 to weld my exhaust where it broke, a rubber hanger and 1 bolt.

Overall a good place to get your car serviced. Fast! Had two cars to get serviced arrived at 7:30. Left around 9:30. Had ran out of the oil needed for my car but it was quickly sent over by a local auto parts store. Manager there was very nice, kept me inform of what was going on and updated. I would go back.

Well I no longer have that feeling after visiting Paris Beach at Meineke at 10046 Jeff Davis. I was greeted with a welcoming smile and friendly disposition. From that point Paris provided the best customer service from start to finish. I felt appreciated as customer and respected as a woman. On top of all the great customer service, the work performed on my car was top notch and all needed! No unnecessary work was offered!!! Ladies and men go to this location for your car service! I went in for a oil change and ended up having to replace 3 lug nuts. And the cost he told was way different then what he charged me. It was a difference of $15.00😳

Service was friendly. Cost was reasonable. I wanted my exhaust welded but tech said he couldn’t do it. It could have been done but would have required grinding of old weld and typically most car care places just want to replace instead repairing as it takes less time and makes more money. All in all i am happy with the service it is above par as related to similar service in the area.

They managed to squeeze me in and take care of me. They were also up front with the pricing since my vehicle requires additional oil rather than informing me afterward as other shops have done in the past.

A few weeks ago I had gotten an oil change and my windshield wipers replaced. Today was the first time that I actually needed to use them and while doing so, my left wiper kept getting hooked under my right wiper. So I called Meineke and told them about the situation and they told me to come so they can check it out. That’s when I met the store manager, Paris. Paris immediately was able to tell me what needed to be done and adjusted my wiper blades so that it wouldn’t happen anymore. I couldn’t have asked for a more professional and fine job. And he also did it for free. From now on all my business will be done through this Meineke. I highly recommend this place to anyone

They were great once they got moving but we arrived more than an hour before closing to get my vehicle state inspection and the bays were empty. There was no other customer. But they stopped to consider if they were still willing to do it so close to closing time. It seemed lazy and unprofessional.Once they decided to do the inspection their behavior and overall performance improved greatly. Everything went quickly and smoothly.

I got my car serviced here in Friday and got great customer care. The manager on duty, Mr. Paris Beach took good care of me. He let me know what issues the mechanics found with my car but he wasnt pushy . He let me take care of what I could then and gave me an estimate on the rest of the things that needed to be done. It didnt take long. Excellent service.

Went to this store to get an oil change and an inspection, the inspector told me I wouldn’t pass unless we had the fog light replaced because of the damage. Told me the light would be 18 and the labor for an hour would be 129.00. They cut the wires on both of the side and made the opposite side an ornament light. Without talking to me about it first. When I arrived home and my husband asked why it wasn’t fixed, I called and they told me what they had did. My main question was why would I want one side to have a hole and the other side look nice. They were supposed to call me back and let me know what the owner and manager said and they still have not. Worst experience! Talk about ripping people off!

I was able to get 3 cars serviced, ( two cars safety inspections with oil changes the third had its AC recharged) on Thursday. Mr.Paris Beach the manger called me after each one was done, enable me to get all three done in one day. He provided great customer services. He informed about other issues the mechanics found with my cars and provide me my with written estimated Excellent service.

A friend took her (2017) Honda in to have 1 headlamp replaced & an oil change. $800 later, & 10 days, still waiting for special parts for the headlight, still not working.

Recently went through a change of ownership and the new owner makes you feel welcome and ensures you walk away satisfied with the work done. Took care of my vehicle and didn’t hesitate to take me inside the shop to show me the issue with my vehicle. Explained other work that needed to be done to my vehicle without pressuring me into spending more money, and broke the price of the product and labor down in a way that made me feel comfortable. 10/10 recommend this shop. Most cost effective and reasonable in the Fredericksburg area!

I would not patronize this meineke again. Not under any circumstances.I went in for an oil change for my truck and selected the synthetic package. It is listed at $69.95 and I was told by Paris the manager that it would be an extra $20 for two additional quarts of oil.When he gave me the total of $116 and change, I was surprised to say the least. Before I agree to the oil change, I had even clarified with him that the total cost would be around $90 plus tax. He agreed with what I said.There were several reasons that the total charge was much higher than what I was told previously. He told me that he had to charge for the oil filter, even though an oil filter is clearly listed as being included in the Standard Oil Change. He also told me that he had to charge for labor because the labor is not included in the oil change package price. Finally, he told me that he had to charge me for three extra quarts, not the additional two that he had previously stated. He admitted that that was his mistake, but he still said he had to charge me for the three extra quarts.If you decide to patronize this location, I would strongly emphasize that you need to make sure you know exactly what it is going to cost before you agree to the repair or maintenance work.

If you are thinking about trying this Meineke for your car needs ask for Victor and Paris. My van’s axel broke in route on a family trip. Called Meineke to see if they could fix it same day and they could. They gave me the price of cost and labor and were able to fix it same day. Paris helped us get the best price possible. The customer service at this Meineke is top of the line. Victor did great work on my van and the wait time wasn’t to bad. Five stars for sure !

I took my car here to get my new brakes and rotors put on and the guy test drove my car after he put them on. He told me that everything was good and that the car was braking smooth. Well, once I started driving the car, by the end of the day, I start hear a knocking noise. I take my car back up there and they told me that they were kinda busy that they would look at it later before they close, so I dropped my car off. Well I kept trying to call them later that day but no one was answering. So I drove up there, THEY DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO CALL ME TO TELL ME THAT THEY COULDNT LOOK AT IT, THEY CLOSED EARLY!!! I knew they didnt look at it because my car was still parked in the same place and my door was locked. Since the place was closed, I couldnt even get my keys to take my car home.Terrible service, never going here ever again.

I originally had a 10am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Upon arriving on time, they couldnt find me in the system. After getting me checked in, the tech said they just got a bay opened up and it will take about an hr. Ok, they finally callme around 12 to let me know some bad news. One of the lifts broke and they still didnt get me in. Furthermore, they wont be able to do the tire rotation and Ill have to reschedule that for another visit. Fine, things happen, I told them I still want to proceed with the oil change. Thats when the tech said hell get me in within the next 20min. Finally received a call around 120pm that the car was ready. Ok, got to the shop and no one was at the front. I waited about 5min without anyone coming out. So I decided to call the location in hopes someone would come out to answer the phone, that wasnt the case. Waited another 15min, finally someone popped out of the back office and told me they will be with me in 2 seconds, lol that was a lie. Finally few minutes later, one of the mechanic came in to assist me. Unfortunately, he didnt know how to work the register and that took another 15 minutes to get me billed and out the door. I also, explained to them about the tire rotation, that Ill need to come back for that since the lift was broken and they werent able to complete that. The tech said, hell get that scheduled for me for Tuesday at 10am. However, I didnt see him input anything into the computer. Ill call back shortly to ensure it was scheduled. This was the first time I experienced such horrible service, normally theyre pretty good. Must have been an off day for them.

I was told the shop would open at 8 o’clock on Saturday but when I arrived it was not open at 8 o’clock and no one showed up till 9 o’clock and the lady working the desk there said no one told her that she was supposed to be there at 8 o’clock or the employees none of them knew to be there at 8 o’clock they have been coming in at 9 o’clock every Saturday. Signs need to be posted on the door telling us that they are not opening till 9 o’clock during the Covid virus so that people coming know what time they are going to be there to service vehicles. I did call the Meinicke hotline number and no one ever called me back to tell me that they were open I find this unacceptable practices for a business

I went into this location last week for my inspection and oil change and I’m so happy with the service. The owner was so nice! I actually felt comfortable leaving them to do the work and not overcharge me for work that didn’t need to be done. I will be returning to this location again.
