It was a very pleasant experience. I took my Nissan Maxima to this shop thinking something was wrong with my power steering. This guy checked my car and was very honest to tell me nothing was wrong with my car. He didnt take advantage of my ignorance. I wasnt even there, he could have told me he fixed something and I would have paid. Awesome auto repair shop.

They treat you like family! I have taken my car to Jon for yearly inspections for the past 3-4 years. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, and after assessing gives a very thorough explanation using diagrams as needed to explain what he believes the issue is. His prices are fair and his services and skill excellent. I am thankful my husbands coworker recommended his shop to us when we moved to this area.

Great customer service and workmanship! I called and looked for a mechanics shop to have a used car inspected; based on location and I was from out of town. Very good experience to call on this shop. They did a very good job on the inspection, he let me look under the rack, explained the process and what they found and gave me an honest recommendation. Very friendly service. Nice folks and if I was back in the area and needed a shop to get work done on my car I would go back again. Highly recommend using this shop. Because of their experience, recommendation and professionalism, I did not buy the used car as I trusted their assessment!

Everything about this business is great .. the least of which it is literally a mile from my house! They are super fair and honest with pricing and so quick with turn around time!Case in point.. called this morning at 10:30 to see if they could take my van for an oil change and maintenance... and John just called , 2 hours later, that everything was done already! Quick, reliable, thorough, friendly!!We were very pleased with the work and outcome on our Ford F-150. They took all the time needed to diagnose our front end noise. Kept us in the loop with what they thought it was. Fixed it fast and they were very personable!!!

Jon is always very helpful and his mechanics really know what they’re doing. We had an issue that was just out of the extended warranty coverage that the dealership and the place we used to take our cars didn’t catch. Instead of trying to convince us to spend a lot on the fix, Jon explained the 3 options that he had found for us and that he understood that it might not be worth fixing because of the age of our car, number of miles and the high cost. There was no pressure at all and he went above and beyond to provide information to us - he had even reached out to the dealer to see if they would cover it. It is nice to know that there is a local shop that has knowledgeable mechanics and an owner that is really looking out for their customers’ best interests.

Five stars, hands down. I had a fantastic experience with Dave when I was away from home and having an issue with a tire noise at highway speeds.My credentials: I’m a vintage motorcycle mechanic. I can do do valve adjustments, ignition timing, carb cleaning, etc. I’m not an expert, but I pretend that I am! I do a lot more about engines and cars than the average driver, and I tend to ask a ton of questions of any mechanic I deal with.Dave asked me about what I was experiencing, assessed my car the same day, answered a bunch of my questions on the phone prior to me approving the job, and then did the repair. Very Reasonable price and accurate information. When it comes to my car, I care much more about trust than about saving a few dollars.I do nearly all of my work on my own car, but I wish Dave lived in my home area!

This has been one of the best experiences ever with getting our suburban fixed. John was super friendly and helpful, down to earth and reasonable. Our rear U-joint snapped and our drive shaft fell out (not a good thing) and they were able to help get us on the road again. Amazing service and great price. I would recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood or surrounding area and in need of assistance. 10/10 everything.

A few months ago was the first time bringing my car to this location, and I have to say, they really live up to the already amazing reviews they have online! I got my oil changed, and even though they had a few customers already, we were all in and out in no time! They are so knowledgeable, and by far give some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Stay away from this guy the owner is dishonest, they didnt fix the problem, way to expensive. In professional, rude and disrespectful

All Car Service has all star service! We’ve gotten brakes, tires, oil changes, inspection, diagnostics and other fixes. They are very quick.John is great. He is down to earth, fair, and honest. Major dad vibes, he helps teach you about what’s going wrong with your car instead of just sending you on your way.

I’ve used All Car Services since I moved to Fredericksburg almost 5 years ago. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can say you trust, but Jon is definitely one of the rare exceptions. I take my car here without hesitation and have always been confident that I’m getting the right service or advice. Love this place.

Friendly and respectful service. From the gentlemen at the desk to the technicians doing the work. Ive been to this service center 3 times now and every time I receive quality service. They went above and beyond during my last visit by helping me mount a riding lawn mower tire onto the rim that was giving me trouble. It wasnt their specialty, nor did they have the tools for such a job but with a little ingenuity and effort they got it done. Thanks and I will definitely be back.

So very glad that a friend suggested me taking my car to All Car Service. After having my car unsuccessfully worked on several times at another shop the problem I had getting it to start kept reoccurring. I took it to All Car Service and they patiently listened to me trying to explain what kept occurring when I tried to start it and they were able to fix it for me! I am thrilled and will be recommending them to all my friends.

Very rude and horrible customer service. My car failed inspection on Friday. I went to pick up my car on Wednesday, today, because I decided not to go with a $625 repair through them. He refused to give me my car because he never wrote out my rejection sticker. So instead of telling me he’d give it to me in about 15-20 min he tried to tell me I had to wait 4 hours and to come back later. And when I was trying to explain to him that I needed my vehicle and I couldn’t wait he answered the phone while I was in the middle of talking and turned away from me. I had to get the sheriffs department involved because he was impossible to reason with. The officer was a huge help and got him to give me the car back. But when I went to pick up my keys 15 min later I had to listen to him berate me about how I better be careful calling the police next time or I’m going to get in trouble. And then hear about how busy he is and how behind he is on everyone. And then his other mechanic came out from the shop to try to double team me and continue to tell me how busy and behind they are. I understand a business being busy but you don’t gang up on a customer who just wants to take their rejected car somewhere else because you’ve continued to treat them poorly. This was my second time bringing a car with them and they were rude the first time as well and I should’ve learned my lesson then. Never again will I go back there. As a woman, especially, I felt very uncomfortable just being there by myself and wish I had asked the officer to stick around.

I took my 2002 dodge ram in for a heater core replacement and their work was great and price was the best around. I trust these guys as a honest and knowledgeable staff and they can work on any of my vehicles anytime. They even took photos throughout the process and sent them to me.

This father and son team have been keeping my familys cars running smoothly for about 2 decades, and we are most grateful. All Car Service is a great name for their business, as they are capable of taking on any car and are totally committed to great service!

I was driving through the area on my way from Southeastern Virginia to home outside of Washington DC when I had a warning light go off for low tire pressure on my Mazda3. I pulled over and discovered a broken valve stem that was leaking. Fortunately for me, I was just down the road from All Car Service, so I turned in when I saw their sign--this turned out to be the best thing I could have done. Even though it was 3:00 in the afternoon, and they had a shop full of cars to work on, within 1 short hour, a new tire pressure sensor valve had been ordered, delivered, installed, calibrated, and road-tested, and I was ready to go on my way. I cannot imagine another shop that would have taken care of me so quickly and professionally, and for a very fair price. I would definitely recommend these shop to anyone, based on my very positive experience.

I finally feel like I found a mechanic that I can trust! They definitely arent the company that is trying to take advantage of you. This place is extremely accommodating- i.e offering to take me back to work if a co-worker cant, and doing the service in between my work hours.

Im from out of town. Picked this place based solely on proximity for a pre-purchase inspection. The guys treated me with respect and integrity. They barley charged me and said the car was unsafe. They ave me the opinion I needed. Good guys.

I took my car to another car repair business and they said I needed a break fluid holder for $500. I decided to get another opinion as I had already had extensive work done on my car. A friend suggested All Car Service. They said my break fluid holder was in good condition but the hose had a little wear and tear hole. They replaced it for $41.00. Quite a savings!

Ive been living in Fredericksburg for the last 4 years, and out of all the Auto Shops in this area my wife and I have visited, All Car Services is by far my favorite. I have yet to bring my car in for an issue (or inspection) where they havent not only told me whats wrong, but taken the time to explain it, how it relates to the symptoms I was experiencing, what other problems might arise, and how they can fix it. They also have always shown me whatever part is defective and gotten my opinion on it before moving forward.Theyre always courteous, always professional, and even when theyre busy they take the time to talk to you and get to know you as a person. In my humble opinion, as a customer I have always been treated with the utmost respect. When I stopped in to have some break work done but was in the process of van shopping, they told me which Vans were in their shop more frequently and told me some of the more frequent repairs they see for the models we were looking at.Unless something drastic changes or I move away (at which time I will update this review) I will be taking all of my vehicles to All Car Services.

Quality repair and honest service at a competitive price!

They saved me ~ $1200! The car manufacturer dealer gave me a list of items my car needed to be simple road worthy (i.e., past inspection). When I asked All Car Services to look at my car, they identified 2 of the same issues. The 3rd malfunction identified by the dealer was in fact not the correct diagnosis (which by the way was the most expensive part of the dealers estimate). No high pressue you gotta do this or else pitch. They kept me informed of the diagnosis, associated cost and time to repair. They are extremely friendly and polite in such a way you feel like more than just a customer. After receiving an estimate, especially if its in the upper $100s, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take it to All Car Services for a 2nd opinion. BTW, I didnt tell All Car all the problems reported by the car dealer. I wanted to see their diagnosis. And, their diagnosis was ~$1200 cheaper than the dealer!!!!
