The hairdresser told me she was single within 5 minutes of starting a haircut, flirted with me, and agreed to text about arranging a coffee date. I didn’t hear back from her until almost two months later when she wanted to RESCHEDULE my appointment two days before, actually blaming me for picking the wrong time when it was made 6 weeks in advance, and not at all addressing the couple of texts that I had sent reaching out prior to this. She then proceeded to deny that our conversation took place, insulted me, and cancelled my appointment. Otherwise, a good hairdresser.Edited with pictures of the non-versation with the hairdresser regarding my last appointment. Yes I may be petty, but I am not the one trying to run a business.

I discovered Shayna by a simple search for a barber in my local area. I was impressed by her story and the reviews of her work.I booked an appointment which i changed due to the severe snowstorm and she was very accommodating with that.When I got in her chair I immediately felt comfortable with her space and the cleanliness of it. She did a consult about what I wanted and answered my questions impressively. I put my faith In her and she talked me through what she was doing.It was a nice relaxed atmosphere and the job she did was top quality.The product she used in my hair I bought it and I have had several comments from people at work on how good my haircut looks.I will definitely be back and will definitely recommend her to friends and colleagues.

Shayna is an amazing barber who I have seen for over 5 years. She is the only person currently I trust cutting my hair. I was tired and getting hair cuts from low-end hair salons that always messed up my hairstyle. Conversations are always great but never forced, Shayna is laid back, low key, and chill. The location right in the heart of cool springs. The barbershop has a perfect atmosphere, which includes a cold beer in your hand. Every appointment, I know I will be pampered, relaxed, and taken care of.

I can honestly say that Shayna is an amazing barber/hair dresser. First person I have chosen to actually stick with instead of taking the first available when getting my hair cut. Although I never received a bad cut w/the other barbers or salons, Shayna separated herself from the pack very quickly. She asks the right questions & then listens attentively so that she can dial in the look I want. She’s not a 1-trick pony who tries to put a positive spin on a 1-size-fits-all cut. She uses her talent & skills to maximize & optimize my hair for my face & creates the best look for me as a unique individual. She’s intelligent, professional, & serious about the quality of her work & the reputation of her business. Yet she’s still pleasant & personable w/a good sense of humor. When I’m in her chair, she concentrates & stays fully focused on my hair. It’s her attention to detail during that ½-hr. that affects how my hair grows in over the next 4-to-6 weeks. And that, in turn, impacts the kind of impression I make w/family, friends, coworkers & clients. She knows how to properly transition, fade, & taper the longer-length hair I want left on top (which I style w/product) into my shorter clipper-cut sides. And she makes certain that the critical area around the back of my neck is done right. After all, it’s important to look well-groomed “coming AND going”. Shayna also never misses the basics, including making sure my sideburns are symmetrical & trimming my eyebrows if needed. And she’ll even do a post-cut rinse, if needed, to wash away those annoying baby-fine hairs that can otherwise get inside my shirt collar & irritate my neck for the rest of the day. It’s also refreshing that she’s consistently on schedule & prepared to start from the moment I arrive. With Shayna, I don’t receive last-minute texts asking me if I can reschedule my appt. or come in earlier or later. And yet, if she has a cancelation, she’ll let me know that there’s an option to work me in earlier if desired. Finally, she’s priced fairly because she provides great value for her services & rates. I’ve paid more, & I’ve paid less, but I’ve not paid for a better haircut than I get w/Shayna. So, if you’re not delighted w/the way your current barber cuts & styles your hair, or you’re bored w/your look & want to try something different, then schedule your next cut w/Shayna. There’s a high probability that Shayna will become your regular barber.
