Through one of the most Difficult times in my life. Gina truly made me feel like part of her family. I had to make the call at 5am in the morning to Gina, in regards to my brother Keith who passed away in Florida and would like a service up North. She was patient and understanding as this was my first time having to deal with funeral arrangements . I was updated every step of the way and she was happy to help answers all my questions and concerns. I honestly could not thank her enough for helping through this very difficult time . Her kind words & comforting words truly helped both me and my family.Not only was the service amazing, the price was outstanding compared to any place I have researched. This service was wonderful, from the moment I contacted Gina at MSOF I felt like I was a person and that my great aunt would be treated with dignity and respect. We had special circumstances with out of state payment and other persons involved and the staff was more than accommodating and willing to work with us. When my great aunt actually passed in the hospice house they were already in route to pick her up before I even had a chance to call them and let them know. This being my first experience with making arrangements for a passed loved one they made this whole experience very easy and comforting. I highly recommend Gina and the staff at Mortuary Service Of Florida.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY I WOULD GIVE A ZERO IF I COULD ..We recently had a family member pass away. Somehow with no authority from the next of kin removed the body from the hospital,and when they were confronted about it told us they didnt need a signed consent for release. Then they told us there would be a $100 storage fee PER DAY everyday that our loved one was there....THANK GOD we found a reputable local company that when we explained what was happening took care of everything from getting the body from this company to confronting them about their so called storage fee and their shady tactics.We will be filing a complaint with the BBB ...when a company representative tells you that everyday that you dont do what needs to be done the body is just rotting away STAY AWAY

Mortuary Services of Florida were very kind and professional. They made the process easy. They were very respectful with the handling of my father.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company doesnt even deserve a rating of an one. They fraudulently mislead a person to fraudulently aprove removal of a family members body from the hospital without any legal authority from next of kin and then took the body to another county to a place for which they refused to provide an address. Then they started demanding that the legal next of kin sign contracts and approve arrangements that were made and added additional fees. When the legal next of kin questioned them, they started being extremely pushy and even cursed at family upon further inquiry. When confronted with the legalities of the matter, they then refused the case, and started threatening fees of $100 per day for storage. They even went so far as to be horribly coldhearted and said, well his body will be decaying with every day that passes. What kind of sick twisted person says something like that to someone who just lost a loved one? I wouldnt refer this company to anyone. Specifically, the sales rep Gina, who is the most disrespectful, unprofessional and coldhearted person. They will not treat you or your loved one with dignity and respect unless you go along with everything they demand and charge for. We immediately made arrangements for another funeral and cremation company to go get our relative.

Gina from Mortuary Services helped our family through a difficult time. She was caring, compassionate and empathetic in our interactions and she made us feel like family. We appreciated the warm consideration.

I dont live in Florida, so when my brother passed away recently I made a few calls to try and figure out which company I was going to hire to handle the cremation that he desired. After talking to Gina at Mortuary Services of Florida it was quite clear that she was taking a personal interest in seeing that this was handled properly and at a reasonable cost. After several interactions with her and her staff I cant say how pleased I was with the whole process, and would highly recommend them. They were very responsive and truly caring. Gina was also able to explain the laws of Florida to me, so I understood the entire process and how things were going to be handled before and after the cremation, such as obtaining death certificates, etc. Also, they offered to personally deliver my brothers ashes to me, which was extremely helpful given all of the other things I had to take care of at the time.

My Mother in law passed away and in this difficult time I could not be more thankful to them all especially Gina who was sweet compassion and really helped me in this difficult time she felt like family also Linda was very sweet I highly recommend them to anyone

My Sister-in-Law died unexpectedly in late August in Naples Florida. I do not live in Florida so I was searching the web for a direct cremation. I would have been totally lost in the mist of such a sad occurrence if it had not been for the kind, sympathetic and caring service I was provided. Just hearing Ginas voice had a calming effect on me. Gina and Linda took care of everything I needed to move forward with the cremation. They called me every step of the way to ensure I was well aware of what was going on. I felt like family was making all the arrangements. I would highly recommend Mortuary Services of Florida.

Very blessed and pleased with how professional and caring the staff was, making this experience much more positive than Id expected. Susan was wonderful to work with. She gave me great peace of mind knowing my beloved, elderly aunts wishes were followed and we can have for a memorial service for her at a later time. The home delivery courier service, which was included, was the best. A friendly, well-dressed representative arrived at the scheduled time with a pleasantly decorative gift bag with the well-packaged cremains, death certificate and travel-transfer card for when I fly back to Chicago at a later date. I have decided that this is the company Id choose for myself, knowing the quality and care my loved ones will receive. Thank you!

It has taken me several weeks to find the words to express my sincerest gratitude for Gina and her staff. When my mother passed away last month, I was at a complete loss. I had no idea how to proceed with final arrangements. My head was swimming. Gina recognized how overwhelmed I was and offered several words of kindness. She started with breathe. Mortuary Services of Florida was a great decision. Georgina was AMAZING to work with and she truly cares. Every step of the process was explained and understood before moving on. They made our family feel as comfortable as they could at the most terrible time of our lives. We felt cared for and confident that the service would be great and it was. I would like to personally thank Gina and her staff for being so professional and assisting my daughter and son in their time of need concerning their father. This story is horrific and I am sure it happens more often then we think. My daughter contacted another crematory service for her father who lives in Florida and she lives in Maryland. The original facility was LEGACY CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICES, who are criminals DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! Short story - she was quoted one price over the phone of $1090.00 plus $10.00 for each death certificate. They sent her papers to sign, which she did and faxed them back to authorize them to pickup the body and cremate. After she sent the papers she received and invoice, which was not included in the original application, in the amount of $1580.00, adding all kinds of charges. When we called to find out why, AJ would not accept calls and finally called to say, he had the body and would charge $490.00 for pickup of the body if we elected to go with another crematory service. Then the medical examiner called to advised that the body was ready for pickup. My daughter advised them DO NOT release the body to Legacy. We contacted Mortuary Services and spoke with Gina who was utterly astonished that he lied about having the body and was basically holding the body hostage. End result was Gina and Jodi took over and even called my daughter to advise that they had her father and he is safe. Dont ever believe there are no angles. Because Gina and her employees are indeed ANGELS IN OUR EYES.

My Heart was completely Shattered on September 15, 2018 My best friend , My Older brother. and my protector passed away unexpectedly and the fabric of my life quilt was forever changed. Gina and all that work for at this wonderful place helped me through the most unbearable and heart wrenching moments if my life. With out her services , Her compassion And her all over wonderfulness I would have never been able to cope. She has been beside me every single day since. She goes out of her way to check on me and reassure me that what I am dealing with is completely normal. She has walked me through the process from the stages to all around peace of mind .If you ever happen to be in need of services from this place Please take my advice and know that You will never be the same from the moment you need this amazing woman and her services . She will forever place a footprint on youre heart.

Im extremely satisfied with quality of service and care I received from Mortuary Services of FL. They arrived in a very timely fashion at the rehab center where my wife had passed. The driver and assistant were well groomed and uniformed; they stayed in the background until we the family said our last goodbyes and prayers. Everything was handled with the upmost dignity. Thank you Gina for all your help and sympathy.

Gina was a God Send We did not know what we were doing. She was patient with us. She walked us thru the steps and made us feel comfortable. My dad passed suddenly and unprepared, in Florida. I am in California. By the Grace of God, I found this wonderful group of women who have been awesome in helping me bring dad home. They are efficient, caring, patient, and understand your grief. I have dealt with many funerals and understand the terrible prices charged for services. Dads cremation and to bring him to California, was reasonable and very affordable. I will never be able to thank Mortuary Services enough for helping me navigate a terrible event in our family. My only recommendation is to families -- PREPARE AHEAD! Let your family know your wishes!

Gina (owner) took my call in my moment of grief and shock. I had just lost my wife, she died way too young (59) and I didnt know where to turn. The first funeral home I called was cold and uncaring, the complete opposite of Gina and Richard.They were so helpful, caring, understanding, and the prices were extremely reasonable, much less than the Funeral Home Mafia. Meeting Gina and Richard helped restore my confidence in human nature. I encourage anyone going through a similar situation to at least give them a try. They are busy, they are not a secret any longer, so be a bit patient if you have to, but Gina did a great job getting me in right away.

They say its 24/7 and when I called at 5:00 in the morning the lady who answered the phone asked me what time it was and when I said 5 and she hung up on me. So rude I will never use them nor recommend them.

It has been over 2 and a half years since my mother was rather quickly and surprisingly taken from this world. I was devastated and at times unable to even put into words what I needed or where to start. I was left with a limited budget and no plans or arrangements for my mother. The ladies at Mortuary are some of the best and most loving woman I have ever met. I was blown away from start to finish. The attention to details from my mothers remains to constantly checking up with me and making sure I was ok through each and every step. I was blown away again when after 2 and a half years I called them again to ask how to get more copies of my death certs and they were more then happy and willing to help me every step away again. I could never of imagined going through this tragic time of my life so easily with out the love and care of the ladies and staff at mortuary services of Florida.

Gina was so amazing with our family through the whole process. We were scattered around the country and she gave each and every one of us needed attention and comfort. Angel on this earth to so many.

My mother in law passed away after a 5 month battle with cancer. While we knew God was preparing her place and we prepared for her homegoing, it did not make the planning easier. We were incredibly blessed to meet Gina and her staff. They made the process of a full funeral as pleasant as possible and their compassion was beyond measure. We are forever grateful to her and the staff.

Gina is the rudest person and the worst time of your life. By the way, they do not contact Social Security and you will be fighting with them for months. If by any chance you are not married and have only spent 27 years with someone she will make sure to tell you that you are no one and she doesnt want to speak to you any more. She has no problem calling for her money though every 2 hours the day after death. You get your cremains in a Crackle Barrel Bag. If they had negative stars I would do that. Thanks for making the worst time of my life ever worse.Now writing going on 6 months after death and I am still fighting with Social Security because they never reported the death. called Gina again and I was told never to call her again. Just do your job!!!

I will solidify another comment regarding how rude and disrespectful Gina was during a time of great loss. I was shocked as to how she spoke to me. I would NOT recommend that anyone use this company. This is not how people should be treated. No compassion whatsoever. Disgusted. She is in the wrong business.

I have had the misfortune of having to use their services twice in the last two weeks. My contact is Gina R and there is only one word to describe her. Angel, because that is what she is. In my darkest hour of grief and despair this gift from God has walked me through tears and confusion with compassion at every step. Than you God for leading me to her.

If you want to be treated with contempt, rudeness, and experience a dictatorial attitude at a time when you have lost a loved one, then by all means call Mortuary Services. They are rude, and both women, the owner especially is a caustic Northeastern woman who lack any kind of empathy. They took my mothers body, and when I didnt jump through their hoops fast enough and complained, they told me to find a new mortuary, and would not tell me where they had taken my mothers body. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Have had to use their services twice, (unfortunately) but the staff has been wonderful both times. They are compassionate, caring, and I cant say enough about the care and concern they provided us during our time of need.

When my mother passed after having been in Assisted Living and me having taken care of her for many years at home I was so undecided as to what to do about her passing. Georginia came to my home and sat and talked to me and listened to me and helped me make a decision that was hard to make to say the least. This woman has more compassion in her heart for others then anyone I have ever met. I felt good about the decisions I made which I would have struggled with without her kindness and support. When my Moms ashes were ready, she went out of her way to bring them to me. I will never forget her kindness.

Very Professional and Compassionate - During a grieving period, it was nice to deal with a company, or better, to deal with real people, that were straight forward and had great customer care. The one price only policy made a difficult process easier and we felt they truly cared about our loss and what we were going through.

Called to ask one question and owner of company was EXTREMLY RUDE!!!! Woman states she was owner of company and she was closed so she wasnt going to help me. If you are closed you should not be answering the phone. I have worked in customer survice for 15 + years and this is no way to treat a paying customer! Very very rude!!!!
