I don’t know too much about cremation because this was the first in our family. This company Harvey-Engelhart Funeral Home was phenomenal when it came to taking care of my only sister. Step by step they helped, included and kept us aware of the process. So much compassion after my sister was in heaven, they still reach to offer help. My mother and family are so happy that we chose them in our time of grief. If you need someone that will be and remain by your side while lifting some of the burden that these painful times bring, call them and trust you will to be content & happy that your loved one was peacefully sent to their home heaven.

My mother had a previously paid deal that they still honored even after over 20 years. That made my expenses manageable. They were all very nice about the whole process. When Mom passed on a Friday night after normal business hours, one of the managing partners called me personally to make arrangements. I was very grateful for the care. The gentleman they sent to transport Mom to the funeral parlor was a doll. Gentle, quiet, respectful, efficient, perfect. Even during this covid mess, everyone involved was very helpful, kind and effective. They abided by my wishes with no argument or pushing things on me I didnt want. Not to say they didnt kindly offer, just not pushy or overbearing. Thank you.

Not much to share. My husband passed away suddenly and I was a zombie planning the funeral. i will say that by not embalming him, which I just found out isnt necessary, he was so life like in the coffin. I will encourage anyone I talk to about funerals to insist in not embalming their loved one. He looked and felt almost alive. I hope the next funeral I attend is mine, and will tell my next of kin to use your services.
