Great customer service, fair price and timely repairs. After having my water pump and serpentine belt torn up from debris hitting my vehicle on 75 I found this place.I ended up having to have my engine mount replaced due to existing damage, and oil change and had my hoses for my radiator replaced(radiator was replaced by another shop that didnt bother to change the hoses then)as well.I always feel like Im going to be nickeled and dimed as a woman going to an auto repair shop, but I felt I was charged a fair price. They also have a student discount I was eligible for as an FGCU student.I had my vehicle towed there at 7pm Tuesday night and my vehicle was ready by 3pm Wednesday.Office has a clean and air conditioned waiting room. There was also an adorable baby duck the owner was taking care of!🐣Also, they cleaned off my engine after the fluids were sprayed everywhere which was a thoughtful extra touch. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!🏅

GREAT JOB, GREAT VALUE!!! I do most of my own repairs but I needed 2 tires mounted and a wheel alignment for my 2006 Lexus RX 330. Nice, clean shop. Casual, but professional. The work was EXCELLENT and at a good price. For a trust worthy, knowledgeable, local mechanic, look no further!!!!

I love Alico Automotive!! Doug is by far the best at what he does! No BS or punches if it is not broke he will not tell you it is. His prices are by far the best. His honesty is so appreciated. I really cannot say enough about Alico Automotive and Doug. I am born and raised here 7th gen and when I tell you, you cant beat this place in prices and honest work, you can believe it! I have been to a lot of mechanics and have worked with more than my fair share and Doug is the best that I have found by far.

Third or fourth time back with Doug. This time with a last minute emergency problem. He laid out all the options (as usual) and the pricing sequence. Told me he would only do what was necessary to correct the problem but he was really tied up and may not get to it for a few days. Always pleasantly surprised by Doug: He had it back to me that afternoon with the problem corrected at the least expensive option. So honest and skillful. Definitely a superb, trustworthy mechanic find for me.PS Last year he did the best brake job Ive ever experienced.

I highly recommend Alico Automotive. I went there after a friend referred me. Doug is a kind, honest, knowledgeable guy. My car wouldnt start and he clearly explained and showed me the cause. He even saved the bad starter to show me when after the job was complete. The new starter Doug installed sounds much better than the crappy one Tire Kingdom put in my car ever did, even when it was new. Doug also didnt find more problems and try to charge more. He was quick, reasonable and fair.

Just outstanding. Always really nice, helpful and fair. Brought my Jeep in today at 8AM, no appointment.He has it diagnosed and finished by 11 AM. Expecting a $300-500 job. They diagnose that it is a $25 job! How great is that. Ive only ever taken my current car there and will never go anywhere else!

These guys are awesome. Ive gone to them for 6+ years, and even after Ive moved to North Carolina, theyre still willing to answer my questions on the phone. Theyre honest, cheap, and knowledgeable. If you live in Fort Myers, these are the ONLY guys you should go to for car trouble.

Initially thought my car needed a battery replacement, only to find out the alternator went also. Doug called to inform me of the problem and run everything by me pricewise beforehand. Great communication, reasonable prices, and I had a new battery and alternator installed within 3 hours. I will definitely be returning for future services and would highly recommend.

$24 bucks for an oil change with filter! Cant beat it! This place also had the friendliest service and the sweetest waiting room fully equipped with a 360 and Kinect. Service was super fast but make an appointment to ensure they can get you right in and right out. Best oil change Ive had in awhile.

I live 2 miles from this place. Called them for an oil change. They told me to come on down theyd get me in. 30 minutes later I was back home. Fastest oil change i ever had!! Regular oil and filter...$24. Awesome!!!

Im visiting my mother, she needed her Chevy Cobolt serviced and checked over. I made an appointment with Alico and they got me right in. Changed the oil for $25 plus tax and gave me an estimate for tires and brakes and cabin filter. After I paid, I asked if the washer fluid was filled with the service. Was told yes. I should have checked before driving away. Because just discovered that it was not. Hate being lied to. Not sure if I will even go back to have them fill it or not

I lucked out finding this place when I first started attending college. I have been going here for years with my many unfortunate car problems. I have asked for advice with selling my car for the first time and have even been told that there was nothing wrong with my tires when he could have easily lied to me because I believed there was a problem. He even refilled the air in them as well for no cost. People are surprised when I tell them how little it costs to get my car repaired when I go here.

Response from the owner of the shop for John StatzI apologize if we forgot to fill your washer solvent bottle. I can only guess that one of us talked to you up front and told you that we do fill the fluids and check the tire pressures, not knowing that the other person in back had forgotten to top off your fluid. We would not lie to get out of saving ten cents on washer fluid. It was just an honest mistake.... nothing more. Again, we are sorry.

Also, if we had broken something on your car, we would have replaced it at no additional cost to you. You would NOT have had to argue with us. I am sure this never happened at this shop. I also believe that if you read the rest of our reviews, you would agree with that.

Called an made an appointment for an oil change and was in and out in about 15 minutes. Doug noticed by license placed and applied an FGCU discount which was nice. Person driving the car back up to the front must have sucked down a couple cigs right before because the smell wasnt pleasant in the car afterward, but that went away after a three minutes or so.

Great service at a price that simply can not be beat, I will be telling everyone I know who needs work done to go here.

Traveling from Miami back to Pinellas Park on Saturday 12-8-2012 we had a front wheel bearing go out east of Fort Myers. Towing was going to cost $462, and the truck will still need repaired. The tow truck driver put me in contact with a gentleman at Alico Automotive who offered to repair my truck for a lot less so it will be ready later in the day even if he had to stay late. Unfortunately we couldnt hang around and head to head north but he said it will be ready on Monday morning. His prices were not thru the roof. If I ever break down in that area again I will be sure to contact Alico Automotive.THANK YOUUPDATE: Picked up my truck this morning, 12-10-2012, and drove it back to Pinellas Park... PERFECT!! Your name has slipped my memory but I want to thank you for a fine job repairing my truck.

Its always nice to have a repair shop tell you that work doesnt need to be done on your vehicle. I really trust this place.

These guys are crooks, avoid at all costs. Charged me 1000 dollars to exchange my ignition and broke a part in my steering wheel and then tried to tell me it was broken before the car was in the shop, after arguing for 10 minutes he finally agreed to fix it if I paid for the part??!!!??. I refused and left never to return again. honestly, I would hired a trained monkey to work on my car before I let this fat polish sausage eating greasy perjurer touch my car ever again

This is based on the call. He would not let me talk and when the conversation was done, he just hung up the phone on me. Not polite at all.
