I am new to the area and I am so thankful for the recommendation of this business. The family that owns it understands the importance of being personable and ensuring their customers are well taken care of. Everything was explained, I was able to visually see the parts that needed to be replaced, and reasonable prices were offered before any services were completed. They do offer financing if you need to have repairs done that are above what you were budgeting to spend. I had a full brake replacement and three new tires that were able to be completed the same day. I got a severe flat on the way to a doctor appointment. I had to pull to the side of the road and didn’t know where to go. I got of the car to check out my tire which was pretty bad. No air at all in the tire. I look around and there to be hold was Tuffy Tire not to far away. Unfortunately I had to drive to location on that bad tire. I was received with warmth and professionalism. I told them I had a doctor appointment and they were honest enough with me to tell me how long it would take them to complete the job. They were correct about the time it took for them to complete the job. Thank you for honest and job well done. I am new to this area and it’s good to know that if I ever have a similar problem I know where to go to get quality service. Ill never go to tire choice again, brought my car in to tuffy after tire choice charged me 130 dollars for a new tire and they never addressed my shaking issue. Tuffy called me back within the hour of dropping my car off and immediately found the issue which was a bubble in my tire. Ended up getting all 4 new tires for around 370, hell of a deal. Very straightforward and friendly staff. I found my new go to mechanic shop.

Doyle was very courteous and helpful. We came in with a possible emergency, and he put us at ease, assuring us that the problem would be fixed. He kept in touch with me and did NO upselling, which I really appreciated. The manager followed up with me, as well. We will definitely go back to this location of Tuffy.

After a very disappointing week I called Carlos late to see I they had them and he was able to locate and install all 4 tires within an hour. First time customer, without an appointment the wait is a little long. Once my car was seen they are very informative and knowledgeable. I had an oil change and my tires rotated. I was worried about an oil drip but they checked everything and fixed the very small problem. I was very happy with the visit and price. I will be returning with all of our vehicles.

They are very respectful hard working people here at this Tuffys. My car broke down while I visited with my father in-law. The car was dropped of late afternoon and because of the unique part for the type of vehicle that was needed it took 2 days to get fixed. They were very thorough on why the serpentine belt snapped and even went to the dealership to get the tensioner that was needing to be replaced. They called me every step of the way and made my family and I feel like part of the community, even though we were just visiting. Thank you very much Craig and the rest of the individuals that work here. My family and I are very appreciative of all the work you did. 😊

Poor diagnostic skills, completely off the map. I was told I definitely need new engine mounts after my vehicle started making a rattling noise when they replaced my rotors and brake pads. This did not make sense,, i took it to a different shop and they found that Tuffy did not properly install the caliper and it was about to fall off. Reckless and dangerous, will never return. Avoid at all costs.

The customer experience I received is unmatched after having brought my vehicle to several other local shops between October and February. Family-oriented and highly skilled service shop. They do not wear masks and dont know what social distancing means.Needed 4 new tires, saw they didnt care about covid so I went and spent $650 at Firestone down the Street.

Received immediate attention from first phone call to completion of job.The owner told mechanic that a tire was losing air. She didnt mention which tire. When we commented on that she said that she purposely does not tell mechanics requiring that they check all of the tires. He properly identified the tire and had it fixed in no time. Very efficient, very reasonable and very pleasant.

Im only giving one star because I cant put zero. We are charged a little over $900 for new radiator, thermostat and a couple of hoses to the radiator. The car was still overheating. When we brought it back to let them know we were told they ran for 4 hours and it didnt overheat. We picked it up but two days later started overheating again. This dance went on for about 2 and 1/2 weeks. They finally agreed to change out the thermostat, but it started doing it all over again 2 days later. I ended up going to a private mechanic and all he did was Purge the coolant system and we havent had a problem since. We ended up having to spend an extra $100 just to have that done. And the people at tuffys should have been smart enough to know thats what had to be done after you fix a coolant system. Even my wife knows that! Dont go to tuffys they dont know what theyre doing.

I walked in without an appointment. They helped me right away. Staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They didnt try to sell me anything extra. They didnt have an air filter in stock my car obviously needed, so the manager personal ran over and picked one up for my car! That is great service!

What a satisfying experience! Brought my vehicle in expecting the worst due to a terrible front end wobble. I was afraid of hearing, you need new ball joints, control arms, new whatchamacallits and probably going to cost you at least one arm and maybe a leg etc... Bradley and Chris told me theyd take a careful look and let me know.Bad rotors. No more than a couple hundred bucks. They told me theyd get the parts and I could come back in the morning. In and out in about an hour. Awesome!With newer vehicles, were always afraid of paying for repairs that arent necessary or getting gouged with inflated labor charges. In this case, I was mentally prepared for $1000 or more in repairs and was thrilled to find an honest shop with a professional staff that fixed my car without taking advantage of my ignorance. I had my mother take my 2016 Chevy here for an oil change. It took more than 30 minutes which had me in question to start. A few thousand miles later I find the time to change my oil and filters myself. After obtaining everything necessary, i find the drain plug to not want to budge. It clearly states (14nm-10Ft Lb) being the amount of pressure to secure the bolt. The bolt was so tight that it popped 2 of my sockets and after purchasing a new wrench for he job, It completely stripped and now I am stuck in process. I called to speak with a manager to hav the service done again at a courtesy considering I have the oil and filter. Now that I call to arrange my service I cannot get anyone on the phone as I’ve been calling all morning. Terrible service, I wish all he mechanics / lube techs knew what they were doing.

Will never take my car anywhere else went in cause my car would shut off at lights and Brad the manager personally looked at my car and found out it was under recall and sent me to chevy and when they was giving me the run around about doing the recall he went above and beyond to call them and work it out and get it all taken care of for me. 100% honest and trustworthy

I came in to take my camaro for a simple heat sheild weld. Instead they claimed they bent back a metal piece that was making the rattling noise and charged me 55$ for a 30 mintue service. Next week later the noise is back, i pretty much gave them a free 55$ for doing absolutely nothing. They should have welded it and the problem would be fixed for good.

It clearly states that this store closes at 6pm on the door and the Internet. I walked up at 4:55pm and the two workers were locking up?!? I said you are open till 6pm? He replied with we are closing early maam . No apology or anything. I really think businesses need to stay open for people that work regular business hours. So the Tuffy on Colonial in Ft. Myers FL has lost my business forever! Bye!

My husband had a nail in his car tire... no appointment. He left have it fixed in less than half an hour!I hit a curb got a flat. My car needed alignment. I went there in early morning ... no appointment. They checked my car and suggested some other maintenance needed for such high mileage car that I failed the notice. Brad is very professional and I took his advice and more than willing to pay for the fees because without his professional knowledge I would have done even more damage to my car!!!! I have been tire kingdom’s customer for many years. My last visit was not good. Ria a part I researched on line for cost at $12, they charged my $98 to replace it. That turned me off! Brad showed me the estimate of the car job. I tried to bargain with him... lol! He found some coupons and gave me even lower fee that I suggested! I am sold! As a female, I have not have much concept about car but loyally getting car oil changed and rotate tires. I need lot of help! With my experience at Tuffy’s, I am so glad I found a great, reliable and honest place to get all the service my car needs!

My car started making noise like it needed oil so I went to tuffy to get an oil change for a tune-up. A guy named Brad was sitting at the computer asked for my name and model, make & year. After he asked for my keys. He mentions to a guy through the window test drive the car. I got up for a little bit to find out my car was not in the working area or where it was parked. I walked outside and seen BRAD driving into tuffy with my car. NEVER GAVE THIS MAN PERMISSION TO TEST DRIVE MY CAR. HE CAME BACK IN TOLD ME IT HAS A MAJOR OIL LEAK. HE WILL STILL DO THE OIL CHANGE. NOT ONE OIL PLACE IVE BEEN TO TEST DRIVE YOUR CAR FIRST BEFORE THEY START YOUR OIL CHANGE. I AM VERY UPSET. I WILL NEVER GO TO TUFFY AGAIN!!!!! BRAD TOLD ME YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO TEST DRIVE & I TOLD HIM I NEVER GAVE THEM PERMISSION TO TEST DRIVE. HE SAYS ITS OUR JOB. I WILL SUE TUFFY FOR ADDING MORE PROBLEMS TO MY CAR. Stopped in recently to have work done on my vehicle, asked a simple mechanical question to the cause of a issue i had with my vehicle. the mechanic started to answer the question correctly than the manager (ROBERT) quickly stopped him and gave him an angry look. loli have 2 brothers who own a garage and my step father owned and operated a garage for over 55 years. i know the ins and outs of honest and untrustworthy mechanics. Robert at the tuffys on colonial displayed all the qualities of an untrustworthy mechanic!when looking for an honest mechanic, act unskilled in the ways of your vehicle, ask a simple question any average mechanic will know the answer to, if they do not answer your question honestly, RUN!

Upon leaving the Motelwe stayed in last night, realized we needed 2 new back tires as weve got over 2,000 to get back to Utah. We made the unfortunate mistake by trying Wal-Mart 1st and then proceeded to waste over an hr trying to find a place that actually has the right size was maddening. When we finally found Tuffys, IT WAS DIRECTLY BEHIND THE MOTEL WE STAYED AT!!! Tuffys not only carried the tires but could get us fairly quickly and friendly customer service.

I had the worst experience with this location , I went there to service the front brakes , They were trying to get me to service the rear brakes which i had done few months ago , then they suggested a brake fluid flush I said i can come back for all this very soon when im ready financially , I asked him if the tires can be rotated since the 4 tires were already taken off , the front desk person asked the mechanic through the inside window , I saw an angry response from the mechanic the mechanic told him that it will cost $ 20 extra for the rotation !!! I told him not to worry about it because i can get it for free at Tire plus since i bought the tires there . the charge for repairing the front brakes were over $ 300 The guy at the front desk said that everything is covered with a warranty for 12 month , after I left I noticed that every time I pressed the brake pedal I hear a hissing sound as air was being released , 2 days later I called Tuffy , The guy on the front desk said that I need to schedule an appointment which I did . when I went back The same Mechanic Brad was there . he told me that the brake booster and the master cylinder need to be replaced , the charge was $ 650 I just walked out .. I consulted with a NAPA certified mechanic , He said that it is very unlikely for the brake booster and the master cylinder t fail at the same time . he said that he strongly believes that the mechanic did something that caused the whole thing to fail . I havent driven the car since then , It is still sitting in the parking lot where I live . I have been driving another old car because that is all what i can afford . I wonder if the owner was aware of what is going on at his shop ???? DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE
