As a newer FL resident, I have been looking for a reputable auto shop who I can trust with my car repairs and maintenance. After giving the Stealership a try, I decided it was time to reach out to independent shops moving forward. After hours of research, I concluded Terry Wynter was where I’d go. Brought my car in for new calipers, and some loud banging noises I’d hear over speed bumps. The team here did a good job keeping me informed along the way and I had the pleasure of meeting/interacting with Guy and Joel. Two of the kindest people I’ve encountered within this industry. They didn’t do anything before consulting me, and even brought me out to the garage to show me exactly what they were seeing! I can’t thank this place enough for making me feel comfortable and confident with the repairs. Great place. I live in MI and recently purchased a vehicle from a local car lot in FL. I had called Terry Wynter to see if they would do a full inspection on the vehicle before I flew down there to purchase it. They where able to get it right in and did a thorough inspection. The gentleman that called me after the inspection was super friendly and very informative on what all they check. Based off there inspection my wife and I flew down there and purchased the truck. Thanks guys we had zero issues driving it back to MI.

I initially checked out Terry Wynter Auto Service Center on their website as I was looking to take my car for future maintenance instead of having to take my car to the dealership and saw they had a lot of great reviews. I have a car that is in excellent shape and want to keep it that way. I had been thinking about installing a aftermarket exhaust system on my Mustang and so I searched out pricing at a few locations. I stopped by this shop and asked for pricing and recommendations and fellow by the name of Allen waited on, gave me what I thought was good advice. I later decided to call back to talk to Allen to order the custom exhaust. When it came in, he called me, set up an appointment to have it installed and it was done in good time and so far I am very pleased with the exhaust and the service I received. I feel confident I can go back for future service needs. They have an eight bay shop and should be able to handle what I need in the future.

As a woman customer it has been challenging to find a place that is kind, respectful, honest, willing to explain everything, and does great work. These guys are exceptional in all aspects of their job. They are not the cheapest but still compatively priced considering the quality! You wont regret coming here.

Went there to get my AC fixed as well as a few other things. I expressed that the most important part of the AC that needs fixing is the AC to the third row of my Expedition. Im taking a long road trip and thats where my dogs will be. Well guess what part of my AC didnt get fixed. I didnt find out that it wasnt fixed until I picked up the car. The leaky hoses were fixed, most of the AC is fixed, the blinker bulb was replaced. The windshield wipers didnt get put on like I asked, the fuse for my radio light is still out. I expected more from them. $2000 spent and im having buyers remorse. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

Im new to the area and had concerns with regard to finding a good auto mechanic. They responded to my e-mail promptly and was able to take me in on last minutes notice. The service desk and mechanics were all very professional. They could have overcharged me based on what I told them, but instead they explained to me item-by-item exactly what was needed and not needed along with a breakdown of the costs. The words trustworthy, dependable, quality and outstanding service all came to my mind as I left. I think that all my concerns have been resolved. Ill definitely be back.

I had a wonderful experience at Terry Wynter Garage. This is my first time here and I certainly will keep coming here for my car check ups. Taylor was very professional greeting me and taking down my information. I actually only called this morning to make an appointment, when they said come in now if you can. I got there in about 15 min. I handed Taylor a list of things that I would like done and looked at. He let the mechanic know what I wanted. As they looked my car over Taylor came back to let me know the cost and explained what my car needed and that it wouldnt take long to get it done. I waited in their customer waiting area. They had coffee displayed and some bottled waters in the fridge. The TV played little snips of shows. It was entertaining, to pass the time. Jeff was my mechanic today and I can tell by the way the car drove he did a great job. Drives very smooth. Tires were rotated, the air filter was changed and I can actually feel the AC better and seems colder now. I got an oil change and my fluids were all checked as well. Recently had car troubles like everyone else does. I took my vehicle to a shop that told me I need to replace my battery an alternator total of $887. I decide to call places an get a second opinion. I spoke with a guy name Ryan! This guy knows his stuff. Long story short Ryan saved me $600 just by a phone call an giving me his best advice. Just New battery an I was on my way $179 bucks later! I recommend this company an all of the people that work here! Good job 👍

If I can give to Terry Winters 10 Stars I would! Not only are they nice, they have great customer service as well. I love how flexible they are, even when theyre busy theyll take your car right away.They dont seem the type to jip you out of your money unlike certain mechanic shops. My first time going there was to get my back light fixed on my car and they took my car right away. After they looked over my car they explained to me the prices and exactly what they were going to do. My back lights were back up and running!The second time I went there was for my AC compressor. Normally I usually go to tire kingdom but tire kingdom was trying to charge me $1,400 to fix my AC compressor. I called Terrys shop and I explained to them what was going on and that I needed an AC compressor. He said he was going to look it up and call me back. 5 - 10 mins later I was given a call back and I set up an appointment to bring my car in. I have a Child so getting that AC fixed was important.I was only charged 600 something dollars. And that was including the labor the parts and everything.And I think as a woman, a lot of mechanics take us for being an idiot thinking that we dont know as much as we do about cars. Im not that type of person, I usually do my research, look around ask questions so I can understand the fundamentals of my vehicle or whatever that I may have. Ive been doing that with my first car just to make sure Im getting the price that Im supposed to be and not getting jipped.So I really appreciate Terry Winters for not overcharging, being reasonable and cost effective, being friendly and flexible and always taking care of my car needs.You guys keep up the good work!

This was the first time I used their services. I have been working through numerous mechanics trying to find a go to place. So I have had the chance to shop service cost and performance. They did a fair amount of repairs on my Honda Odyssey. Timing belt, water pump, shocks, brakes and other items were done in a day and a half. They wouldnt just accept another mechanic recommendation but wanted to verify themselves the true need. Very competitive prices. Great friendly service. Kept me informed along the way. I have found my new go to mechanic.

Terry Wynter Auto was highly recommended to me by a family member and they definitely lived up to it. Very polite from the moment I called until I walked out the door. They were very upfront with pricing and called to confirm a slight up-charge before they began the service on my car’s A/C. It only took half the time they initially told me, too. My A/C is ice cold and now they have a new customer because I will definitely be back.

They fix your car for a fair price, yes. It’s not mind blowing rock bottom prices though and for good reason. You’ll have peace of mind that things are done right. They’ll probably save you money over time by avoiding unnecessary repairs and avoiding major failures. Ryan is an amazing communicator. He will tell you the minimum you need to do to have your car running again, or to take proper care of your car, or overkill maintenance that isn’t worth it. All the guys know what they are talking about and can say it clearly. They’ll pick you up and drop you off too! This should be “your car shop”.

These guys are great! My car needed to be looked at and because I commute 35 miles 4 days a week needed to be done soon. I sent them a message at midnight and answered me right away saying bring your car in the morning we would love to look at it. I brought it in the next morning and was greeted very nicely they took my car into the garage looked at it diagnosed it and told me exactly what it needed and said we can have you out of here in 1 hour to 1 and half hours, they were very fair on the price for labor and parts and Im back on the road again thanks for a painless experience. Highly recommend these guys!

We were on vacation I did not know who to call. I got lucky and found Terry Wynters website. I called him the next morning he immediately called a tow truck which took me to Terry‘s shop. Everyone working there was professional and courteous. I did not want to sit and wait for the car because my grandbabies Just got to our vacation spot, they even found me a cheap rental car. They got me in and out so quick I really didn’t even need a rental car. But when you’re on vacation you don’t want to sit somewhere for even three hours. I needed a new fuel pump, and rear fuse box. They used all original GM parts for our Buick. The car is running great I’m still on vacation. I also received a call from Terry a week later to check up on me to make sure the car was running well. All I can say is thank you Terry and all your great employees👍👍

Everyone that I have communicated with at this shop has always been pleasant to engage with. I have never once thought that they weren’t being honest or trying to sell me something that I didn’t really need. If given the choice, I would always choose Terry Wynter to put hands on my car. I even had it towed from Naples to have them work on it. I couldn’t be happier with their service.

I was attended to rather quickly and the job they did was very well done and they offer cheaper prices if you ask but I thought Id take their advice for getting what they prefer with amount of details they provided. They quick and efficient with their job and I recommend. Only a 4 star because they charge pretty high for labor. I paid 100 for tie rods but paid 200 for labor? But it was good they also aligned my tires as well.

My car wouldn’t start, I suspected it was the battery. These guys came to my home, jumped my car, drove it to the shop, replaced it, and returned my car!! They were so nice, polite, punctual and didn’t try to look for other things wrong with my vehicle! It is greatly appreciated!! I am relieved I found a trustworthy mechanic.

This was my second opportunity to have work done on my 2003 Buick Rendezvous by Terry Wynter’s staff and technicians at the Service Center on Fowler. Arrived at 7am Monday morning (6/8/20) with fresh hot coffee at the ready in the waiting room. Needed an oil change and multi-point inspection due to the vehicle sitting for 6 months. Service and multi-point inspection completed within 1 hour.Ryan and Taylor are a pleasure to work with at the front desk, providing good information on any issues along with fair and honest recommendations for solving problems. Their technicians are well trained and efficient. Everyone is very courteous and friendly.My first service was preformed back in Dec 2019. The windshield wipers had an intermittent failure, typically not working only when it rained. Local Buick dealership diagnosed the problem and recommended complete replacement of windshield wiper motor, Delay Circuit card and entire linkage arm assembly to the tune of $800.00 for parts and labor. I declined that service and took it to Terry Wynter. They quickly isolated the problem to a faulty $12.00 relay. I had a great experience with this shop. This was by far the best experience Ive had visiting a mechanic. Their prices on parts and labor are some of the best Ive ever came across. I was referred here by another mechanic that didnt have time to address my issue, its quite unfortunate for him these guys impressed me so much. I went in without calling ahead and they made time to diagnose my problem for me. While I waited I was able to observe and evaluate the way the shop operated, it was like a well oiled machine. They are a very busy shop and I can tell why. Watching the different interactions they had with customers I could tell they are not a shop that is just going to try and sell you repairs that you do not need. Another great thing was I could not drop the car off because I needed to drive it to work, so they offered to come to my job and pick up the car, without this it would have been very difficult for me to get the car in. For this service I am very grateful. The professionalism, knowledge, cleanliness and courtesy this shop offers sets them apart from all the rest. They dont try to sell you service or parts if its not needed. They will recommend if something needs attention, and theyre not pushy about it. This is a shop you can trust!!!
