I normally wouldnt write a review unless I actually utilized a business, however Im making an exception here. I called to talk to Ange about a Porsche Cayenne S I was considering for which I would want future work done at her shop. She was incredibly helpful and took the time to answer all my questions without hesitation. Based on this, I have to believe the quality of her teams work is exceptional.

We have a classic 1985 Mercedes Benz 300CD and moving to Fort Lauderdale we had difficulty finding a reliable and reputable repair shop we could trust to do the work.....that is until we met Angela and George at ABS Exotic Repair. This place does incredible work and stands behind what they do. We needed a hard to find part but leave it to Angela she finds it! Any complicated repair and George is on it with a solution. If you have a classic car or even a soon to be classic this is the only place to look for your repairs and maintenance. ABS Exotic Repair is the only place we will continue to take our CD

I had an issue with the repair cost quoted by my dealership. I called shops in the Fort Lauderdale area for quotes and ABS, after hearing my situation, shared several resources to negotiate a better price with the dealership itself.Ange helped me out of pure kindness. I would have paid several hundred dollars more if not for her support. While my Audi Q5 was not repaired at ABS this time around, I know where all future issues will be fixed.

I’ve been taking my MB diesel here for almost 5 years now. Ange is great to work with, her communication is excellent and timely. I’ve had some complex repairs and was always kept up to date. Always a follow the next day after pickup to make sure I was satisfied. Very honest shop that will explain in whatever detail level you want and the pros and cons of certain repairs. She’ll check multiple sources for parts as well. Also offers after hours pickup and drop off which is very easy and helpful for my schedule. In short, if you’re looking for a reputable shop that’s easy to work with, ABS is a great option.

It takes a giant leap of faith to try a new repair shop for a Porsche, but we ran into an issue with my 03 Boxster on the trip down from NY, and I needed to find a reputable place to have her fixed asap. I checked online and came across ABS through many positive reviews. From the get go, Angela was attentive, friendly & let me bring her in right away. She not only diagnosed & explained the problem, but she found other issues with the car that could have caused major problems down the road (Proactive, not reactive!). Her communication is excellent, and I love the fact that she suggested other improvements without pushing anything on me. She is as honest as anyone Ive ever met, and I always felt like my car was in great hands. I used ABS again recently for a battery issue, and it was another positive experience. Been to ABS Exotic Auto many times, Angela is a sweetheart! Doesnt cheep out, gets OEM parts and fast repairs. My 2011 SLK 350never ran better than after a visit with her. Shes great helping me through a few minor accidents and restorations to my baby.

The lady on the phone was polite, but I didnt end up moving forward with this business because they wanted to charge me $159 in order to provide me an estimate. I provided the employee with specific information regarding the repairs. Im interested in free-estimates/diagnosis and then we can talk about repair costs.

Around ten years ago we were taking our Mercedes Benz (MB) E320 to local dealers for post-warranty service. While competent repairs were made, they were very expensive. We heard about ABS Exotic Repair in Fort Lauderdale and started taking the E320 there for service. ABS proved to be much more reasonable in price and just as competent in repairs as the dealers. Even after moving to Miami and replacing the E320 with a MB CLS550 we have continued to go there for service.In January 2020 we had a bad experience at a local Chevrolet dealer in terms of delay, cost and shoddy repairs on our C7 Corvette. While another local dealer was able to address the repairs successfully that meant more delay and expense. We were very please to hear from Ang, ABS’s principal, that they repaired Corvettes. ABS did so with the same focus on customer service as with the Mercedes. Ang is superb in terms of communications, focus on keeping costs reasonable, and delivering expert repairs.

Went in for a brake fluid flush and was surprised to find out they had the same brake bleeder as my audi dealer only half the price for the service.

Ange was amazing! She helped me through a very challenging warranty claim between my extended warranty company and the dealer. She is very honest, reliable and generally wants the best for her customers rather than just making a buck off of someone’s misfortune. I would highly recommend her as a mechanic or a consulting mechanic. If I could leave a 10 star rating I would. Simply the best.

Difficult to believe, but at ABS car repair is a positive experience. Angela and her team are great. From realistic evaluations of what can and sometimes cannot be done to honest estimates through good and complete work, checked and double checked, ABS is the best. And the prices are fair. Visiting ABS garage for the fist time was one of those experiences in life where everything just clicked. Even before I got there, talking to Angela over the phone to sit up the appointment was a positive exchange. She knows her stuff. She was informed, cheerful and clear in describing possible scenarios given my description of the problem. When I arrived, I was immediately impressed with the size of their multi-bay operation. Clean, well organized and buzzing with activity. Meeting Angela in person just added to that positive first impression. She described how long they would need the car and the approximate cost of repairs and our good-humored exchange left me with the impression of a high-integrity business that establishes long-standing relationships with clients. During hurricane Dorian along with the king tides, my 1998 Jaguar XK8 sustained some water damage. I had the car brought to ABS and they had the car running by the afternoon.The car did require several replacement parts. Angela kept me apprised of the cost of parts and labor on an almost daily basis and the possibility of any unseen damage. She also shopped around to try and get me the best price on parts since not a lot is available for my car.I found Angela to be very fair, upfront and her and her technicians to be very knowledgeable and have the equipment to work on my particular vehicle.I give them 5 stars and will be using them from now on.

Unbelievable service. I decided to take my ML350 to ABS after reading the reviews. Angela is awesome. I needed a rental. She gave me a contact that delivered the car to the shop, so it was there when I dropped my car off! We talked extensively before the car came in to go over what I wanted done. They did a complete inspection of the car, test drove it, scanned the computer and then gave me a complete summary of what the car needed. Angela kept me updated constantly the entire time the car was there. I never owned a Mercedes before. I knew the dealership would be overpriced and I dont trust the chain store repair facilities. Angela made me feel very comfortable with the Mercedes brand. My Mercedes will be coming here as long as I own it. I would buy another one just so Angela and ABS Exotic could take care of it. Call Angela and take your car to ABS. You will not be disappointed!

I recommend this place 100%. I Couldnt ask for a better repair shop. They are knowledgable, friendly, trustworthy, and straightforward. Angela is great and laid out what absolutely had to be done, what should be done, and what wasnt essential but would be a good idea to get done. In my particular case we even discussed if it was even worth doing the repairs (I ended up trading my car in). I cant think of any other repair shop that would spend the time discussing not doing repairs with them. Best place there is, in my book.

When my 1981 911 SC did not want to start, I was worried more about finding and dealing with a repair shop rather than the start up issue itself. It wasnt a question of if it was going to get fixed or spending the money, it was more about how I was going to be treated and if my money was wisely spent.To that effect, since the first time I called to have the car picked up, everything has been transparent and upfront. Everything was done seamlessly and the money that was being spent was well explained and priorities aligned immediately. As a owner of a car that needs constant care and might not have the immediate budget for it, I was always treated with respect out of the gate and never felt second citizen to other cars (like the 1969 911 I saw peeking through, or any of the high value cars on the lot :) ) that fostered one thing; it isnt so much of a quick fix and repair. It is about establishing a working relationship with you and your shop that will have me visiting and spending money there without thought (as long as I have it) for the rest of my cars life as I know it will be well placed.As far as the work is concerned, top notch. Front alignment overhaul was something I walked into the shop not considering but under the circumstances have made me fall in love with the car all over again. Car is running stronger, oil line replacement did its trick. I can tell that the car was well taken care of during its stay. As you know, I already have lined up a laundry list of things I want to to it, and the first and last person I would call would be Angela at ABS Exotic Repair.

Great service and attention to detail. I brought my Jaguar Vandenplas there for some interior work after paying a rather substantial amount @ Warren Henry Jaguar for service and the replacement of two struts a week or two earlier. The whole operation feels like a family business and if you treat them right, they definitely treat you right. They found some other smaller issues that they felt Warren Henry should have suggested dealing with while they replaced the struts to save on labor. As they dealt with those, they discovered an issue with a strut and dealt with the entire warranty process and got Alpine to fix the strut issue from Warren Henry. They picked up the car there to finish the work - all I had to do was - well, pretty much nothing. In the end I got my car back, she runs better than ever before and I know where to go for service and repairs going forward. I feel like I made a friend that can fix my car.

Had my BMW towed here with a broken gasket cover. They have a very fast towing service and 24 hour drop off/pick up. Angela was great, very accommodating and helpful, informed me of every step of the repair via text messages, since I was at work. She took her time to explain the whole process in detail. They worked within my budget and repaired everything that needed repair. Angela also recommended me a heavily discounted rental place for the duration of the repair. Couldnt be more happy with the service and results. Would recommend to everybody. I will be back for all future repairs.

A few months ago I was referred to Angela (ABS exotic) by another repairshop because I was experiencing issues more specific to BMWs. I went in and from day one my experience with this shop has been fantastic. The tone of the shop is lets get your car fixed right, the first time, for a competitive price. Angela is extremely transparent in both cost and estimated time of repair, and communicates updates frequently. Ive been here twice now and will continue using her and her team for service. 911 2001 was overheating running poorly. Angie was called sent her tow truck and took control of the issues. Oil leaks water pump misc other issues. We had not had work done on car for at least 4 years other than maintenance. Service was not inexpensive but Angie told us from the start pricing and choices. We opted for her to fix it up completely. So far all is well car runs like new. We were extremely happy and glad we have found a competent reliable shop for our Porsche. Can get pricey but foreign cars tend to be that way. Highly recommend ABS..

I brought my 88 Porsche Cab (Im the original owner) to Angie after 3 years of talking about it with her. So patient. It didnt run, no brakes, fouled fuel tank and lines. Fuel Injectors...clogged, tires were square. Broken top... I could go on...Father Time and not driving my baby nearly killed her off. Angie arranged the tow. This guy was careful and inexpensive.Angie made a list of priorities and estimated costs. She and her competent crew went bit by bit until we had a Porsche that started. (I was emailed a video) I was updated every step of the way. Each item was ticked off and pretty soon there was an actual test drive. Wow!! So, round one is done and I was in the middle of a move (stressed). Angie offered to store my car until I got settled. She is the best!!I was in Fort Lauderdale today and visited Angie and my car. It was so good to see her and make a plan for the next bit of work.I can highly recommend this business to work on your special car! Angie is the bomb. Honesty and Integrity. Straight shooter. There’s always a bit of anxiety that comes with going to a mechanic in a new town. When my 5 series started idling roughly and the check engine light came on I knew I couldn’t avoid the mechanic visit anymore. I live downtown in Ft. Lauderdale so there were quite a few places I could have gone. I chose ABS because of the good reviews.I met George when I came to the shop and he wrote down all my symptoms and I handed him the keys. A short while later I was contacted by Angela who gave me the bad news. My problems had been going on for a while, and the damage was extensive. She let me know I wouldn’t be happy about the price to repair it but she could save my “baby”. No one ever really gets good news when you go to a mechanic anyways. You’re there because something is broken!It took the better part of a week to repair my issues. Angela kept in contact through text and phone calls daily to let me know what was being done and why. She suggested what MUST be done and what could either wait or was up to me. I never felt like ABS did anything I didn’t approve or wasn’t fully aware of why it had to be done. I work in software so I don’t know anything about cars. However, the way Angela explained to me what was going on made me feel very informed.Midway through the repair process I came to get a few items out of the car and George took the time to show me the work in progress and why it was taking the time it took. He didn’t have to do that. I appreciated his ability to explain it to someone who doesn’t know about cars.I couldn’t be happier with the service, and the end result. My 550i runs like it is brand new. No more rough idling, and no more annoying sounds from my wheels. No more anxiety about where to take my car from now on either. As long as I am in this area Angela and George have my business.

This is my third time working with ABS Exotic Repair. Lets face, we ALL hate auto repairs and the cost of repairing foreign cars can be awful but Ange always tries to alleviate that pain with discounts, great responsive service, and a smile. Ive appreciated what theyve done for me so far. I dont know much about the mechanics of my car but so far everything appears to be working great since I brought it in for repair.

Ive had two reasons to go to ABS; one cosmetic, one mechanical. I was very pleased on both occasions. Angela (one of the owners) took time to explain repairs and kept me informed as the process went on. The cost came in well within the parameters of the estimate I was given. Their shop rates arent cheap but this is one time youll get your moneys worth.This is my second review (I know, Im beginning to look like a shill). I want a shop to maintain my 20 year old Porsche 993. To that end, Angela suggested I bring the car in for a preventative look see. They found nothing wrong, the car was in/out in 2-3 hours and I WASNT CHARGED ANYTHING. Ive read some of the less positive reviews but theres been nothing negative in my experience with ABS. Ill be back.

The local BMW dealership mechanic quoted me nearly 4k to fix a problem they didnt fully understood.Angela and her team fixed my car for less than a quarter of the dealerships price and it drives great!Again, Im very happy with my experience at ABS Exotic Repair.

They deserve less than one star as a matter of fact. I spent almost $5,000 of hard earned money. $2,600 of that was for turn up and oil pan gasket change which oil pan gasket was never done. I drove the car for two weeks and the fans belts came off the pulleys. More also the power steering box and other parts were left loose. Very poor work for the price.

I purchased a 911 in Fort Lauderdale, from out of state, and needed a great repair shop. While investigating and researching I found ABS exotic car repair. The owner Angela took me by the hand, as I am new to Porsche, they did what was needed and guided me through the entire process. The work done was superior and a fraction of what a dealership would charge. By the time I picked up the Carrera I felt more like family than a customer. Great shop! I have a 2007 Mercedes GL 450 with an after market warranty. I took it to Mercedes of Fort Lauderdale to get them to fix a seat problem they caused they last time it was there. While it was there they said I needed rear shocks for 1200.00. They said they tried to get it covered under my warranty but it wasnt covered. I explained to them that I thought it was the front shocks that seemed bad over speed bumps. They explained that that was because of the rear shocks, and never checked out the front end. I took it to Angela at ABS and they looked over the car and said that it needed replacement air shocks all around, and left and right control arms. The cost of this work could potentially exceed the value of the car. Angela was able to get the required work covered by my warranty. Not only did the dealer not diagnose the car correctly, they also failed to confirm the repairs they had diagnosed were warranted items. I highly recommend this ABS Exotic Repair. If you happen to have a after market warranty and need repair work, Angela is like a dog with a bone to get the coverage you paid for.

Id give this place 10 stars !We brought our used Mercedes back in after our rebuilt transmission started acting bad. Angela could have charged us the proverbial arm and leg, but shes honest and didnt charge me because of the warranty..I recommend ABS to anyone . Good fast service and honest

Highly recommended service shop with great personalized service and communication! Ange, owner, is a wonderful lady - honest, easy to work with, and in constant communication. Before I came here, I took my car to Mercedes, then to my friend in Davie, and finally here for a 3rd quote after reading all reviews. Anges quote was safely right in the middle and she didnt suggest any more or less work than either of the first two garages for brake work, engine mounts and 5-year old maintenance items. I dropped my car off and Uberd home (for $5) since I live right downtown. Picked up my car in 3 business days and I even came back the following morning before they opened for a quick tweak to my cars programming. Excellent location, attention, and work! Bring your German car here!!

Absolutely the best service I have ever had at any auto shop. Went to 2 different BMW dealerships, one that did a repair wrong and another that quoted me the wrong parts. This was the most personable and honest experience I have ever had. I will only be coming here to get my BMW serviced. Owning a near vintage Porsche 993 can be difficult. Lots of people want to charge a lot of money, and you never know what is exactly true or not. If nothing else, its comforting that Angela owns 2 993 Porsches, and seems to be a true car girl. My 993 thrashed its belts in the middle of a downpour, at 5pm on a Friday, in a less than desirable neighborhood. They got me towed in less than 1/2 hour. Furthermore, their parking lot may not be the nicest, but anyone walking through the shop, who has been in a shop, can see that they know what they are doing. $125 an hour is good money if you can get it, and seeing 4 bays with cars in them means that they can get it. Labor cost exceeded the parts, but thats what you get with a Porsche. I agree with other reviews though, with the location and parking situation, I would like to see labor closer to $100 an hour. Other than a minor nit pick about rates, I got what I needed, quickly. And the fact they towed me late on a Friday to their shop saved me $75, so were even. If you own a Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes or BMW, you may want to consider giving them a shot.

I came in with my Audi trying to decide to keep car or trade in. I never had for $150 such a clear and detail review of my car that I trust. It is so hard to find someone to tell one the truth! I feel now I can make a good decion....and will never buy a car without checking in first!

The keys to a good repair experience (or any business transaction) are service, quality and price.Since I acquired this car six months ago, I have been to no less than three different repair establishments (including the local BMW dealership) and spent many thousands of dollars, only to get recurring issues and the car running sub-par. Angela gives fully personalized service, no high-volume here, with real emphasis on getting problems solved and honesty, flexible arrangements - all things that are sorely lacking in most other places. Her prices are more than fair, especially compared to the competition. Most important in my case is that not only did she find many items that were overlooked by the other shops (animals in the intake(!), leaky hoses, etc.), the car performs so much better than after any other service, it is astounding. A key measure is miles per gallon, as it is a clear measure of the cars efficiency. I have been averaging 25 mpg on most long trips prior to ABSs service. My last trip? 31 mpg - a 24% increase, along with the smooth running and power that I bought the car for.I highly recommended this place to bring your car for service.

I recently purchased my dream car, a 1999 Jaguar XK8. Angela and team did a phenomenal job on inspecting it and repairing it to nearly new. Professional, knowledgeable, honest, fair and transparent. The service and followup have completely blown me away, I am thrilled that they sincerely seem to care about my Jag as much as I do. I will never take my Jag anywhere else!

I have a 2003 Mercedes Sprinter van and I took it to 3 other shops and it was never fixed right. Angela and her team found all the issues that every other place just put a band aid on. I travel for kiteboarding and surfing as a rep so now this van runs so smoothly that I am not worried when I do a trip up to Cocoa beach one week, then Key West the next, followed by a trip to Georgia right after. Amazing service and its fight right the first time. I moved from Fort Lauderdale to Miami and I still drive up to get work done and even oil changes if needed.Just wanted to add to my review. I recently had a new blower motor installed for the AC and after a month it went out. ABS Exotic replaced the part free of charge and had it back to me in less than a day. Amazing service. I make sure that any work I need done, I bring my Sprinter to Angela and her team.

This shop is amazing - some shops can do decent work but not many will go above and beyond to diagnose a tricky problem, explain things in-depth, or give you straight-up and honest options about how to deal (or not deal) with a situation. I cant say enough great things about Angie and her shop! After another mechanic screwed up the computer in my Audi Q5, I took my car to Audi hoping they could fix it. Audi said they couldnt read my computer and I needed to pay up to $600 for them to manually diagnose my car. I called Angie, and she said bring it to me, Ill fix your computer. Angie not only fixed my computer in less than 2 hours she went on to fix my entire cooling system, and an oil leak in a valve. She is a life saver and extremely fair on price. Angie turned my Audi lemon into a top of the line SUV.

My spouse and I bought a 96 BMW convertible at a substantial discount because the top was not working. Angela correctly diagnosed the problem, but more importantly, found what had caused the top motor to fail in the first place. Now the top works perfectly. Since our BMW is our second car, there was no hurry, so she took her time and did the job right. The car was returned spotlessly clean inside and out.I checked several other BMW shops, and got a lot of less-than-reassuring comments about the top problem, I was more than happy to pay a little more to have the job done correctly and professionally. I just moved down to Fort Lauderdale for my first job and had some major functionality issues with my car. Usually very few marchanics can help me due to the complexity of the car and the fact that it is not a piston engine. ABS took my car in, found out what was wrong, and took care of everything for a fair price. Would definitely recommend to anyone experiencing car trouble.

I went into ABS Exotic Repair after the convertible top got stuck in the up position on my Jaguar XK convert. Even though I didnt have an appointment, Angela the owner told me to go have lunch and she would call me when she got to it. An hour or so later, she called, it was fixed ! The bill was less than I expected, so I was a happy camper. Highly recommend, and I will use this shop for any other maintenance or repairs.

Brought by Mercedes GL450 to get service and ended up needing a new steering rack. Angela was a blessing to communicate with, so i went ahead with the service, Now 6 months later I took in for oil change and saw that it was leaking. But Angela came to my rescue and got everything fixed with not an ounce of hassle which is not the norm from everyday mechanics. I recommend ABS Exotic to everyone that really cares about that special car that they drive!!!

This place is phenomenal. Ive used them for service on my current BMW and previous one over the last few years. Angela and her teams service has always been professional and the shop is trustworthy and they go the extra distance...even post service. You will be updated regularly on the status of your service as well. In my experience, theyre service is very OEM oriented so you wont have to worry about sub-par aftermarket parts being used. My car is highly tuned/ FBO and although this doesnt seem to be their thing, Angela is able to work with me. They are very convenient with location to me and the flexibility of after hours drop off in a secure area is a huge plus. Thank you for keeping me on the road.

Not sure their mechanics know how to diagnose problems properly. Spent 2600 only to find out the head gasket is blown at which point her response was to try & sell the car before it completely goes. Sorry but I dont trust them and theyre more expensive than the BMW dealer.

Car was shaking, brought it in to be checked out. Fond out I was inches from losing a motor. Great service and car runs great very satisfied.

I found ABS on Google, and read the reviews which is what brought me to them. Ange and George have taken great care of me and my pain in the arse Boxster. I believe they have been honest with me, and acted in my best interest. My car has been there a few times, and it always came back washed and clean. Good customer service.I would be hard pressed to take my business elsewhere.

I didnt even get past a phone conversation about a ballpark estimate and the man on the phone was very confrontationall and mean about nothing! I just wanted an estimate! I would never talk to a customer like that especially with the potential of them spending hundreds of dollars at my business!

This is the only repair shop in which the car comes out repaired well, with a great price and you want to kiss the Chief Mechanic for doing such an incredible job. Well in this case you would kiss Lady Angela, the owner of ABS. We have three older BMWs each of which we treasure. One of them developed a problem that none of the shops near me could fix. I brought it to ABS and it was diagnosed and fixed. The car will go on as will my heart (theme from the Titanic) but the feeling is genuine. When Angela touches your car, it comes back to life no matter what the problem is. And she figures out a way to make sure that the fix makes sense economically.

A place charging $120/hr labor rates should certainly be able to maintain their own property, but not in this case. Horrible state of the property aside, maybe they are honest and do good work. Nope. The website and owner stated that they are not butchers and will leave your car in better condition (cleanliness) than when it came in. Well, when I brought in my car for an estimate I didnt exactly think they would wash it but I also didnt expect the greasy fingerprints on the cloth headliner and windows.I found the office manager and head mechanic (who are also husband and wife owners of the shop) to be arrogant, condescending and rude.Finally, after being quoted $120/hr rate, I was charged $125/hr. Guess they had to charge for the grease on my headliner or something.There are many other shops who offer much better customer service and respect, I would recommend against this shop.
