I was referred to West Town Towing through my AAA Roadside service. The towing staff was responsive, efficient and patient. This was my first experience using a towing service, but the staff made it easy and stress free. I can only assume that towing is not a rewarding business, especially during COVID. However, the guys were thoughtful and respectful towards me and towards the vehicle. I also received a follow-up phone call from their office staff the following day to make sure I was happy with their service. Honestly, I have no complaints. My experience with West town Towing was very positive and I would recommend their services to anyone.

This is what the car looked like after being dropped off at the shop. They also drug the car while in park up on a flat bed.

I got in an accident. Through their AAA partnership, they sent out a tow truck. West Town even came out an hour earlier than what AAA said they would which was good. I gave them the incorrect address where to tow my car, I didn’t ride with them, and I didn’t even call to check on my car. Later that day I realized I gave them the incorrect address and still didn’t contact them. The next day I called to see if my car was dropped off at the address that I gave them. They informed me that my car was safe in their lot. I really appreciated that and was extremely relieved. Instead of dropping my car off at a random location that was even given to them by a customer. A location where my car could’ve gotten towed by some random company from somewhere I didn’t even know, ticketed, stripped, broken into, stolen, set on fire, any mf thing. West Town Towing had the sincerity to take it upon themselves to take my car into their lot; a safe & locatable location. I’d rather it be there than somewhere I wouldn’t even know where bc I realized the address I gave was in the middle of the street… So yeah, 5 stars for me mane.

I have been using West Towns tow services exclusively for quite some time. Okay so what happens weather using my AAA benefits and requesting them specifically or paying cash out-of-pocket. I also refer them for anyone in need of the tow services. I have always spoke with Jackie who is absolutely AMAZING and have been extremely pleased with my experiences until today that is. Just before noon today as I always do I once again call Jackie to schedule a tow for my vehicle she told me the driver could be there in approximately 45 minutes which would have been perfect timing considering I live approximately 30 minutes away from where the vehicle was. Notice I said would have been. Upon arriving at the location I placed a call to the office for an ETA on the driver. As always I asked for Jackie however the gentleman that answered the phone, the rudest human being Ive encountered in quite a while, informed me she was on another line and would not be able to take my call. Which was fine. I simply asked him for the ETA for my truck to arrive at my location which should have been within the next 10 to 15 minutes from that time based on information given to me. Now remember I have driven 30 minutes to the location of the vehicle expecting the driver to arrive shortly thereafter. This gentleman without asking any details whatsoever screamed at me there was a three to four hour wait when I try to explain I already had the call in and they were to arrive within the next few minutes based on the 45-minute time frame I was given he repeated the exact same thing with no explanation and show me if I didnt like it to call somebody else. Well rather than go anywhere else because I am a loyal customer and I do prefer the service that I have received from West Town since the first time I use them and Jackie is like I said amazing I decided to just wait till later this afternoon. Around 5:00 I decided to give her a call hoping they had caught up because I did talk to her earlier and she explained very nicely that they had an abundance of AAA calls come in and it changed their situation and I understand so I decided to wait till later and as always she was extremely pleasant and at this time she could have the truck there within 15 minutes. I told her I would call her right back as soon as I could get to the vehicle within that same time frame and proceeded to make arrangements within 10 minutes I returned the call and was told she was gone but I was still willing to schedule the tow however I was quoted a higher price than Ive ever paid not by much its only $10 its more the principal. I mentioned to the gentleman, by the way this was a nicer man, that Jackie and I had agreed on a price to which he responded shes not here this is how much it is now mind you this has been all day or 30-minute trip in wasted for them to not show up with no call ahead to inform me of the change and now $10 is a big deal well I hope that $10 is worth it because its the last $10 they will get from me. My recommendation is if Jackie is not there call someone else

Tow truck driver just flew through my mobile home park going way over the speed limit Nailing the gas hit the speed bumps so hard the back tires came off the ground. I heard him hit all 5 speed bumps. I came outside when he hit the first one clear across the park at about 40. Our speed limit is 10.

This company accepted the tow for my AAA. I waited over an hour. For them to arrive. Only for them to tell me. They are canceling my call. Because the tow is too far. Meanwhile the start & finish addresses were included in the description. When they accepted the call. So I have to wait another hour & a half. For another company. Because they changed their mind..... so they accepted the call again hours later. To refuse it again last minute. So now Ive been waiting for 8 hours for a tow truck because of this company. Just completely unprofessional

I got my husbands truck stuck in about 2ft of snow, Jason was there without delay. He didnt think he would be able to winch it out without the area plowed first. I explained that I had a call in & waiting for a call back. He was determined to help me, he got it out & drove it to a cleared area for me. I was frozen & soggy from trying to dig myself free. Last time another company left me stranded for 4 hours with a broken rim. Thank you West Town Towing for your friendly quick & customer first 5 STAR service! I now have you on speed dial.

Really bad driver out on the road!! Tailgated me at 75mph then passed me on the right in an exit lake and cut me off with little room to spare, going at least 85. Would never use this co. based on that.

Ive used West Town before with no issue. Today I simply call to request a tow, and after waiting over an hour, hearing nothing, I call back just for the guy to say my guy tried calling, you didnt answer. Instead of believing me when I said I did not get any call, he reiterates hes been here 17 years as if that has anything to do with them not calling. Then as I was telling them Ill just call elsewhere, he hung up in my face.

Ive had 2 bad experiences with West town towing they were dispatched through AAA. This first time was about a month ago my car wouldnt start before I even called AAA I contacted my car dealership they checked the computer system in my car and told me that the battery needed to be jumped AAA sent out West Town the man hooked the battery jumper up didnt even leave it hooked up long enough to jump start the car I let him know that he didnt leave it hooked up long enough to determine that it wasnt the battery he swore to me that he knew what he was doing and it definitely was the starter not the battery my vehicle was towed to the shop this was a holiday weekend so I was without a car for 3 days and had to get a rental finally when the shop opened up on Tuesday I let the mechanic know what the dealership said it just needed a jumped and thats all it needed there was nothing wrong with the starter he literally just jumped my vehicle! When I called the tow company they were extremely rude refused to accept any responsibility stated we are not mechanics and they refused to reimburse me for any of the expenses I incurred because theyre driver cant jump a vehicle! Today I called AAA again I waited for an hour got a notification that the driver arrived the driver normally calls if they can find you so I waited a few still no driver in sight so I contacted AAA and I let them know the driver marked themselves as arrived but theyre no where around AAA contacted the driver stated he was 2 mins away not arrived they still never came by this time another half hour past I had to call a family member to come and help me by that time 2 whole hours had past and they were a no show but but they had arrived and lied to AAA and stated they were two minutes away They never came the most unprofessional company AAA needs to stop using them they suck!

They will always lie to you they have no customer service skills at all.... The owners son carries an unregistered gun and they pay there drivers cash under the table which is illegal since he does not report it on his taxes blames drivers for the trucks brakeing down and charges them for it NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!!!Its a wonder that AAA has not pulled there contract yet... They are down right scum of the earth people the only good drivers they have are jesse rod and jeff i cant believe they put up with the owners they cuus at them call them names and downgrade them..... Also half the people that gave 5 stars are the owners friends and family that has never had anything dome there at all he told them to post 5 stars...be careful flint they might steal your cars they have been investivated for that and some of there drivers have been arrested for it.... Look it up on the internet as proof... There is a post that says why lie they put the call as completed when it was not even gotten to... Now the owner friend is making threats to me telling me hes going to sue me... Last time i checked this is a free country and all US citizens have the right to a freee speech....

I have had two experiences with West town towing the first one they showed up when ITOW of Clio was on their way they took my car I thought they were good my tow company but they weren’t so when ITOW of Clio showed up I thought oh my god did somebody just steal my car AAA is my towing company I told them I did not want West town showing up ever again second time my car keys were locked in my car AAA sent out ITOW of Clio some guy shows up while I’m in the house unlocked my car and he’s in a van with no name on it just AAA he leaves ITOW of Clio shows up and again West town has stolen the call from the towing company of our hometown then the tow truck driver from West town starts texting me asking me for my information and then asking me why I didn’t want them to come out on the call so he knew he was not supposed to come out on the car but did anyhow so the harassment and stalking continue so I called AAA back complained told them everything that was going onI hope Westtown never shows up with a call from me because I will call the police way too sketchy I thought one company trucks coming and then these people show up out of nowhere

Nick came right within 7mins towed the car and did it smoothly w/o keys! My mom and I really appreciate him for getting right to the job! Car was towed in less than 5 mins

After a breakdown left us stranded at a rest area along I-75, West Town went out of their way to help. Everyone, from the owner to the drivers (especially Tony, our driver) and workers at the yard, went over and above what we expected. We were very grateful!

Tow truck pulled in front my driveway and laughed when asked to move...told me wait and will take longer with me complaining. Tow truck told me to wait while he tried jumpstart car that was not blocking my driveway...as a matter of fact two tow truckers blocked my driveway. Worst ever...wouldnt happen in white area....would have taken 30 seconds to move truck. Wish I would have recorded live...Definitely contacting AAA...

The garage I was having my car towed to was closed so I asked the tow truck driver to leave the key in the car. Well he left the key in the ignition and the car running all night for 12 hours. Who does that? I will never use this Towing company again.

My tow truck driver Alton Lewis was great! He was very pleasant and professional, fast too! I was surprised to hear that he has only been with the company for three weeks! Hes a great asset to your company and a good salesmanI asked him questions about my vehicle, he answered to the best of his knowledge and suggested that I have a technician from West Town have a look at it. Justin seems like an expert in auto service and he was extremely understanding about my current situation with my alternator. I am not too familiar with cars beyond the basics but Justin was very helpful in that area as well. My car was towed quickly by West Town and I appreciate them getting started as quick as they could. I am a college student and I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family :)

Had Alton and his apprentice, both were very quick, and professional. Alton also made sure to explain everything he was doing and why, making sure to pay extra attention to the car. As not to scratch or damage it in anyway.

Worst company ever! They damaged my vehicle while towing and the owner will not hold himself accountable. I will be taking them to court and Im sure I will win but its just a huge inconvenience. Ive never had a company be so rude or disrespectful in their communication!

I tried calling company before I made this review. My god sisters cousin called AAA while we were in Flint. She had to get back to work, shes a social worker. We stayed with car 1 hour in cold, driver Dwayne arrived very pleasant but needed her id. My GS called cousin at work to verify and speak to driver. I let him know I had gold card no problem Id call on mine. AAA gave driver a new dispatch # for me. His dispatch advised him to leave and theyd have another truck here. I told him Im so sorry this happened wished he was our tower and thanked him. My phone died in 1 minute. I got it back on in 4 minutes & called AAA. They call West Town someone there lies and said we werent at location? AAA says they are sending another company. I try to call West Town and speak with a manager so he could speak with staff member who made this error. He cuts me off saying I was irate to his driver, I tell him he was incorrect I even took pictures with his nice driver he hangs up on me. I immediately call back to see if I got disconnected or this was his professional way of handling customers. The young lady wasnt any better as I ask if Kevin the manager was available. Im a 18 year ex claims employee with Allstate and Id never want these people to handle my customers. Very sad customer service.

Our 2011 Dodge Journey broke down in Flint around 3:30pm on a Sunday. West Town Towing was there within a half hour. Took our car to their shop. It was the alternator. They had it fully repaired and ready for pick up at 11:00am Monday morning. Price was very fair. I would highly recommend their services.

Cheap and quick tow, couldnt figure out the problem other two tows were just as cheap and quick but didnt inform me of the damage that occurred while in their care...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I’ve already called and filed a complaint with AAA because they stole from my vehicle while it was being towed. My children’s things were in the car, luckily none of that was stolen, but they took my Bluetooth transmitter and took an hour to get to our house, after we had gotten here. And they left before we did. I WILL WAIT FOR AAA TO DISPATCH ANOTHER COMPANY BEFORE I EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Hire some decent people, clearly you don’t do background checks.

The three times Ive had to have towing, both Tony and Brian have came out in a timely manner. They were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this towing company to everyone.

I ended up getting a flat tire out of the blue on a Saturday. I called AAA and they sent Antonio to come tow my vehicle and drop me off at home which was a 40 min drive. We was very professional, friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

We called triple A at 3:45 for a tow, they said approximate wait time would be 30 min (which seemed logical since your company was only about 8 miles from where we were) then at 4:45 we called triple A back because we were still waiting, and your company told them you had already picked up our car!! (Im sure to maintain a certain rating with triple A!) We informed them we were still waiting, then after 4 phone calls later, your company telling us each time your driver was 2 min away, then 5 min, then getting gas, he finally showed up at 5:55, we have just now dropped off the car!!! Your only saving grace was the fact that your driver was awesome & very apologetic!!!!! Im in logistics, I understand drivers on call, what I dont understand is reporting a pick up complete to the insurance company, then lying to the people waiting on you!!! According to your driver, he was in Brighton when the call came in!!!! Why lie???? Why not just tell the truth???? What if this were my 89 year old grandmother???? Broke down with no air on a 85 degree day!!!??? I personally will not use your services again!!

Nobody is ever HAPPY to be in a situation where they need a tow truck, right? This is the guy to call. We were lucky enough to have Justin dispatched to help us. Awesome attitude, time efficient, amazing customer service, and will go out of his way and take time out of his own day to help a customer. Our car had broken down on the side of the highway, hours from home, and he took us to a mechanic and made sure that we got checked in to a hotel- stayed to make sure they had availability and everything. Made SURE he took us to a mechanic that was within walking distance of a hotel, so we could easily get our car in the morning. Wouldn’t accept any extra money (or candy) I tried to give him. I seriously cannot say enough great things about this company, and Justin himself.

Got a sudden flat and had to pull over in a remote area. AAA contracted West Town Towing, which was further out than others. The driver got the call started or way but received a cancellation. The driver decided to still come to help, thank God he did Demetrius, from West Town, came and changed my tire and we were pulling off by the time there other driver arrived.Thank you Demetrius! Excellent service.

Called AAA and West Town Towing showed up at my door. Guys knew a lot about my Buick Lesabre and did some quick tests, determined right away it was a fuel pump. Wasnt originally going to service it there but they made me feel comfortable. Only downside was I kept getting different information regarding open times when I would and speak to different people

I had one of those van trouble days - West Town folks came out to save me twice in same day! Allyson was great and got my tire filled with enough air to make it to a service shop for repair - thanks Allyson! And later that day/night Nick towed me to drop off van at a shop to fix an electrical issue that put my van out of commission on an off-ramp - Thanks Nick!

$125 for a 25 mile tow. I was stranded on the freeway and driver was there within 30 minutes of calling.

My truck broke down, so I called AAA and ended up with West Town Towing. The driver, Alton, apologized for being late even though he showed up earlier then AAA said he would. Alton was a very friendly and courteous driver, he made the trip with my broken truck enjoyable. That man deserves a raise!

I will not use this company ever again. I call them and they agreed to tow my truck home for 50 dollars. The guy gets here and says it going to be 62 dollars. I only have 50. Now Im pregant and stuck on the side of the road. Thanks guys I really appreciate you leaving me stranded on the side of road while Im pregant.

Worst towing company! I put in a triple A request for towing. West town showed up well over an hour late and proceeded to tell me I was lucky to get service at all as they take take the more profitable non triple A calls as a priority. Terrible! I will be reporting this to Triple A!

Avoid this company at all cost. I purchased a used convertible BMW in perfect condition. I did not plan to plate the vehicle until summer so I had West town towing tow the vehicle to my residence, while in route to my residence Their tow truck he got into an accident causing damage to the front and rear bumpers of my vehicle and burned out a transmission module causing my car not to go into gear. The owner Tony constantly ducked and dodged when I called, when I finally did get hold of him he informed me that he would do nothing to repair my vehicle. I now have to take this jerk to court because he wont fix what he is obviously responsible for. Definitely not a professional company that will address any problems you may have.

Service is an negative 5 stars. Absolutely the worst tow service I have ever encountered. Drove past me once. Called AAA back they will be right there 20 minutes later still no truck. Once again called AAA oh hes on his way. Still no truck. After the 3rd attempt, he shows up, then tells me he has to back to the yard and pick up another vehicle + mine and take 1 to Pontiac the mine to the dealership. I have been waiting in the shop for an 1/2 hr for someone to show up. Absolutely horrible service. I am going to call AAA and report this.

Rude driver very unprofessional lazy nasty people

This company is no good. They scam customers and take advantage of them. They were suppose to tow my car to Flat Rate Towing and Service but instead took it to their shop and couldnt fix my car so had it towed to flat rate towing and service and they got it fixed and running. Im a AAA member and will be calling them.

I had a last minute lockout service that was scheduled at least an hour and a half out but they came much sooner I think the guy name was Tom just wanna say thanks again I will be calling again very satisfied AAA member

Robin from westtown happened to be behind us when we got in an accident. She stopped and helped us even giving the kids candy canes to keep them happy. She made sure we had a tow truck and ambulance coming out. Then called us to follow up and make sure everything went ok. Definitely went above and beyond
