They recently had a change of ownership. Unfortunately my mother went here thinking that the quality would be the same. It was not.She came here for an oil change, and realized her interior door handle was broken when she got her car back. She went back to them and they admitted they broke it and said they would fix it for free.They replaced the entire side panel and handle WITH A USED SCRATCHED UP VERSION. She asked why would you use an old handle and old panel and they simply said “just sue us then”This is super unfortunate because I came here one time too to fix my bumper on an old civic and they did a great job but since the owner left they don’t seem to care.The pictures show the used scratched up version of the panel and handle. The handle is bent and dented in multiple places and not the same handle.I hope you see this and rectify this situation.

They are so helpful and kind here. Someone had sold me a car and they didnt disclose all the problems it had. My financial situation is very bad right now, but Kim has worked with me so I can get these urgent problems taken care of. It warms my heart that someone who I dont know is so kind to help me out during my time of need. I will continue to go here even after my financial situation gets better.

Brought my 2012 Camry in for routine maintenance, left with a cracked radiator. Coolant leaking all over the engine. Manager was insistent that it was a complete coincidence and would not offer to fix a very clear error by his team. This shady company does cheap work that they do not stand by. If you want to roll the dice on cheap mechanical work, good luck. If you want a reputable mechanic that stands by their work, I recommend Glenn’s auto repair. Half mile away.

The mechanic took his time to show me what was wrong with my car. It always feels good to have a mechanic who is not trying to rip you off and explain why the parts needs replaced.

This guys told my sister when they figured out how much it would cost to fix her car they would call her before there repaired or replaced anything at all. So 2 days later my sister called just to check to see what she could figure out which also I forgot to mention that I am the one that told her it was her starter. I use to own an auto shop, So I told her I didnt have time at the moment so it probably wouldnt be that much to replace it which is an R & R remove an reinstall. So when she called they told her it was done an she owed almost $600. She asked him why didnt you guys call her before you did any work to the car an his response was well you need your car dont you she replied with well yes I do but that didnt you the right to take my starter out an put in a used one without my permission an the guy said so what you want me to take it out an put yours back in an she said yes because I cant afford that right at the moment an he said well then you owe me for diagnostic fees storage fees and rack fees which comes to we didnt know how much but just the diagnostic fee was $66 an he said that her car was holding the bay up for 2 days but when I drove by her car was sitting in the same place the tow truck driver left it so to make a long story short I ended up going an picking her car up right before closing an a guy said he wasnt going to let me take her car until we paid all those fees an I said hold on excuse me sir by law if you had informed her of those fees before working on her car then she would be liable for those fees but you did not so there for she doesnt half to pay those fees so I would like to get her keys an go on our way he said your right an the other 2 guys that were standing there apologized an as I went to walk out the other guy says if you dont have that car out of here in 5 minutes Im going to start charging you storage fees I said that just goes to show what kind of a business man you are an I would appreciate it if you could give us a few extra minutes due to trying to tow her car across the busy Pacific Hwy in rush hour traffic with a dead car an its 2 woman an my sister had never towed a car in her life with a tow strap an the reasoning for that was because AAA wasnt going to be there until 9 pm that evening an he wanted to charge her all those fees but the car is fixed an shes on her way but just thought people would like to know what this place did an not to mention my sister is disabled an is on a fixed income also she could have narrowed the money to have it fixed but I know I wouldnt want a dishonest place working on my car.

Nice to serve and check my car

I came in the other day to get an alignment, they had my car on the rack for probably a half hour before telling me they couldnt do it because apparently all of my suspension was bent. When I asked what specific pieces were bent, they just said all of it was bent and would need to be replaced. I went to another alignment shop the next day and they had me out within a half hour.

I recently had my car serviced and had my Tie rod replaced. Kims auto beat all the competition prices. My car battery was dead on the day of service and they came to my house to jumped my battery for free. If youre looking for a great service and a good price, I would highly recommend Kims Auto Service.

After having a bad experience up the road with another shop that basically wouldnt help me...these guys were awesome. They just said yes come in and well help you out...and they did. It was just a simple battery problem, but guess what...they got my business and the other guy up the street didnt. Its refreshing there is still nice, honest repair shops.

I had a language barrier. They had no clue what i actually asked to have done to my van. I wanted spark plugs and cylinders replaced im not sure what they did. I do know that my van no longer runs

Dangerous, irresponsible mechanics!Recently purchased a 2006 Subaru Outback which had just had the value cover gasket, camshaft seals, etc. serviced here by prior owner. Value cover gasket was improperly installed, engine not correctly attached to motor mounts, engine not correctly attached to transmission, water pump not correctly attached, the list could go on and on for days. Less than 6000 miles after service performed rear main seal and valve cover gasket blow out on I-90. Result: engine seized. When I called to ask them to see what happened to the Subaru, they wanted me to pay for towing from Ellensburg to Federal Way and then they would consider checking it out. Another mechanic described this service as an abomination, and informed us that this was the very best possible outcome, because if we would have hit a bump in the freeway, it was very likely the engine and transmission would have fallen out, possibly killing a driver behind us. If you value your life and the lives of the people around you, going to this shop would be the last thing youd want to do.

We go here for most of our auto repair needs. Mr. Kim is honest and very reliable. He even plugs tires for free. Oh, getting a oil change is always quick and painless.

Excellent service, very honest and helpful. I failed the emissions, because I had an electric problem. My brake lights didnt work, I tried everything to fix it and it didnt work. It took less than an hour to go to get the needed part to the store and fix the problem. They are AES approved btw.

I had some communication problem with the shop cause they don’t speak English very well. But once we are clear of what needed to be repair, Kim did a good job.

My car 2012 z4 had a problem(engine hesitate/shakes when accelerate), so I went to BMW northwest in Fife, Wa. It took about 2 days for a diagnose and I was told that my car needs Engine decarbing due to well, the tech said it is common problem for turbo charged BMW. He gave a quote of whopping 1800$.(8 hour job, so told). It was strange because it only has 50000miles on it. They also charged for diagnostic fee of about 160$. So, I decided to get a second opinion and went to this Kimsauto. The owner, Mr. Kim said, 90% of time its ignition coil then he changed it for 157$. The engine light turned off, and my car turned back to normal. This shop is very honest, conscientious, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this shop to anybody who want to seek second opinion. Best shop ever!!

Came in for an oil change at 5:30 pm they close at 6 but they still did it anyways(all other shops close at 5 and if your not there by 4 they wont help, they were extremely nice as well, also they stayed past 6 so a woman could have her car towed there because it broke down, from what Ive seen great guys and service
