Surprisingly busy on a Friday morning. Had an appointment for 9:30am. It was a 15 minute wait to be seen at the counter and another 8 minutes before my car was attended to. 18 minutes later, the tire rotation & balance was complete. Overall from beginning to end, it took about 41 minutes. I think it could have been 30 minutes or less if it wasn’t for two customers asking a million and one questions. I understand, they gotta ask what they gotta ask. Besides that, everything was phenomenal.Also surprisingly tire rotation and balance is free. I didn’t purchase tires from them and was expecting to pay something but did not. Nonetheless I appreciate them and their professionalism. Thank you!

One of the best customer service experiences Ive had. Ax went above and beyond at my last visit. I had mentioned an upcoming road trip while making small talk during my appointment. He took the extra time to not only suggest, but check my spare tire. (Which was low air) Thank you for the out standing service and making me and my family feel safer.

If you have expensive wheels that you really care about..make sure to ask for the “Matt ONLY” service. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. I had the best experience with Discount!!! All three of the guys that I worked with were amazing! I didnt get lug bolts for my new wheels thinking that my old ones would work but they didnt. But Discount saved the day and had some that would fit. Then I had made a purchase already for ties that werent available anymore so they canceled my order and started the refund process but it hadnt gone through yet. So when they ran my discount tire card I didnt have enough. Brad and Sebastián helped with the whole situation. They were both amazing! Very kind and helpful with the situation. Justin helped put my new wheels and tires on my car and he took great care of them. I was in and out under an hour. Thank you all for having such great customer service and taking such good care of my wheels. They are my babies lol. I will most definitely be a returning customer!

Discount tires has gone above and beyond! Always friendly and very informative. Answers all my questions. I came in yesterday for a couple of new tires and my pressure tire sensor light went off a few hours later. I brought it back the next day to find out if the sensor was broken and because it was missed, they fixed it for free! Definitely will never go around coming here.

What really counts is how a business and its service team respond when something doesn’t go as expected.They got overwhelmed early today and told me up front that my appointment time for a rotate / balance might be somewhat delayed. Turns out that I got in and done within the normal expected hour… but a couple of walk-ins didn’t. As a former service business owner, I really appreciated how well and often the SAs updated those folks on status and took care of them.I have multiple vehicles with their tires on them, and this level of service is what keeps me coming back.

I had an out-town-emergency with my car tire on my tow car behind my motorhome. We had a flat and took our Honda Accord to this Discount Tire. I’d like to give a huge THANKS to Samual in the garage. He got us fixed up and even inspected what we thought was a slow leak on another tire.My only complaint is to the Discount Tire senior management. You guys have to allow for emergency service that doesn’t have to wait 3 hours. You sell expensive tire road hazard warranties but your stores book only appointments. You MUST staff to handle at least a couple of emergency repairs, especially for those of us who bought these road hazard policies, that can be fit in quickly. I know you make money on selling tires. But let’s get real, Discount Tires makes MILLIONS selling road hazard contracts. You must have a better way to honor them in emergencies.

Honestly, friendly knowledgeable! Ive sat in the lobby waiting for my new tires, and they have been treat all the customs with respect and courtesy. They are BUSY, and they have been up front with everyone as to the wait time, and the order they take cars back. I originally came here because I have the credit card (and get 6 months interest free) but after today, and witnessing first hand how good they are to all customers, I will definitely be a loyal customer for life.

Had to new tires installed but the tech missed the basics. The air pressure was not correct causing the tire pressure sensor to go off. I had to return to the store to get it resolved but I am not sure the employees understand that a tiny mistake causes me to waste 1 to 2 hours of my day. I feel like the company is more focused on getting you in and out fast then doing it properly the 1st time.

These guys are the best around. We couldnt get the wheels off my motor home seized on there. They stayed an hour late on the first day I brought it back and they got it the next day. Thanks guys it was a big deal for me. I will always buy all my tires from these guys

These guys a breeze to work with.I came back here because of their previous service exceeded my expectations last time, from doing an inspection and letting me know I was due for missing tires from my last service at a different location. (I must’ve been going through a lot at that time because I didn’t remember, however) I was surprised the other location didn’t update me.They happened to have the exact tires and I needed and made the decision to switch it up for me with their stock.Anyway, yesterday I came in because I found a nail in my back right tire. They quoted my time to be about an hour and half and it was done within an hour. The man at the front desk was super friendly and definitely was prepared to take in my Volkswagen.It’s been a pain to have it’s tires changed until I found this place.Thanks again!

They came out, tested my tires, checked the traction and instead of selling me 4 tires told my my back two were good, rotated and sold my 2 tires to replace the ones that were on the front. What an amazing, amazing joint. I would spend more money on the exact same product from Discount Tire just because of how great these guys are. They once fixed a hole in my tire for free (that I didn’t even purchase there) - which just made me want to go back. I mean seriously, where can you get ANYTHING for free these days? I recently purchased a whole set of tires there, and the entire staff was just so friendly and knowledgeable. Not to mention their building and the vehicle bay are kept spotless, which must be near impossible in the automotive industry. They also display everything they are doing on the financial end for you on an outward-facing monitor so you know what you’re being charged for, which is a thoughtful touch that you don’t really see anywhere else. In a world of evil corporations, Discount Tire is a truly good and virtuous business. They have my business forever as far as I’m concerned.

This morning I got a flat, after putting my spare on I went to this location to get a new tire. They were super friendly and super helpful! We were afraid the service would be by appointment only but we got there right when they opened and they got us in and out in less than 15 min! We were super grateful to have them serve us so quick because we live 2 hours away and had to get home in time for work. Gilbert was the main guy who helped us out, he’s got a great attitude and he was very helpful and friendly!! Just like everyone else there. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!

Great place! I mainly interacted with Xavier, and it was a pleasant experience. He quickly repaired my flat tire. The whole appointment took about 15-20 minutes (repairing the tire and swapping it with the spare on the vehicle). He did a great job, and I will definitely look to Federal Way’s Discount Tire for any future tire needs.

So grateful! I’ve been struggling to deal with the valves on 3 of my tires. No one would help me stating their policy is... and no one would offer me options. I went to several tire shops, even other discount tires, nothing. Being a travel nurse, my Jeep is everything. This place! No problem! They got me in immediately! Changed the valves and gave me new caps, no charge!!! I held my tears until after I left. But this was too easy when everything else is a struggle. Shout out to Axar and Adrion!! Im glad I came here to get my leaking tire repaired as well as a tire rotation and balance. About 2 months ago, I took my car to another tire center (LS), to get a rotation and balance done. I expected to get charged since I didnt buy the tires from them, but was charged to get the services done, and they repaired a leak from a screw they found. I thought it would be free as everytime, for the past 10yrs, it was always free and always was told that if they sell the type of tires on the car, they wont charge. Well, they didnt balance the tires good enough and the leak from the tire I got repaired started to leak slowly after a month, (about -1 psi every other day) until today, the tire couldnt hold the proper amount of air for more than 2 hours. Went to this Discount Tire and after they told me why the same tire mentioned was leaking, and that the balance of 2 of the tires were way off, I realized I paid for nothing at the other tire center except for a tire rotation that was obviously done. And everything was free. Never again will I go to the other tire center. Thank you discount tire!

Ok, today, I was in my motorcycle, I need a air in my tires, I stop in discount tire in federal Way. I don’t understand a logic of manager, who denied pump a air in motorcycle,saying they not working whit motorcycles. I don’t ask him do the work on my motorcycle, I ask him gave me the fricing air in my tire. I don’t see a logic in liability. But a cross the street les schwab did whit no problem. Such a idiotic policy.

Waiting 10 min for an air check but only quip

Ive taken a tire in that was flat and I just took in my car that I suspected had a hole in one of my tires. They were able to get both patched up. Which Im beyond grateful for. I took my other car into a Discount Tire in Renton and the guy argued with me about my tire having a hole here said it was completely fine. My 1st time here at the federal way location they looked at the same tire and found a nail. I will be back here when I need to purchase new tires.

I was going to a store in Federal Way, Washington when my car gave a warning that I had a flat tire. I remembered that a Discount Tire was immediately to my right, and I pulled into their free air check lane. The tech detected a source of the leak and made an appointment the next day. The tech fixing my tire found a bent screw and was able to fix the flat. Ive had similar great service when I took my sons car and my wifes car in. Thanks!

They were great! Even during these interesting times. Had an appointment. Nail puncture repaired in less than 1/2 hour and the other three tires checked. And everyone was very nice. Couldnt ask for anything more.

Discount Tire replaced tires quickly on short notice. Damaged sidewall was noticed the night before driving to Eastern Washington and were replaced the next morning.

Brian (Store Manager) is awesome at what he does and discount tire you need to realize what you have with this man here. Not only did he get me the best tire size fitment for my new wheels (Stanced Look), but went above and beyond to give me tips on personalizing my car to my liking as we share similar taste in vehicles. Today, i was very greatful. Had an appointment @ 2:30 and even though they were behind, they still managed to get me in and on my way in about 20 mins. I want to personally thank everyone there for excellent customer service.

Whenever something goes wrong they allow walk ins and that service us absolutely invaluable to me. Very professional and helpful.

I went there because they said that they had exact replacement tires for my truck, I went in to replace one tire and they told me that I had to replace all four tires. I had to drive to southern Oregon, so I agreed with it. When I got back to the store to pick up my truck, I noticed that all my center caps was not installed properly so I had to put them on myself, also noticed that someone wiped black goo around my rims, when I got into my truck and started it, all the warning lights were going off, took them a hour to reprogram them so my truck would accept the sending units, I was so upset about the situation and service that I had to just get out of there. When I got home the tps was saying that the tires were over inflated, tried to check them but the new tps valves wont even work with my truck gauge. At this point I was extremely upset and now I just wanted that black goo off my rims, so I washed them and noticed that they stripped the chrome all the way around the edges of all 4 rims, went back to the store to file a insurance claim, and start the process of trying to get my rims replaced. Had to go to the ford dealership and get a estimate for new rims, $2400 for the rims, insurance company barely offers $1200, the only reason why Im posting this is because my truck has less than 28000miles had one tire that had a small cut in the tire and I didnt trust it . Now I have a new truck that has f***ed up rims, one thing I know is that I wouldnt see a proctologist when I need a dentist, and I wouldnt let these guys change the tire on my cr***y wheel barrel. As a company owner myself I would never do this to my customers!!!!!

I really wish there was a ZERO star option. While I was placed on hold I listened to this kind message about how they care about their customers and our safety. Well that’s a lie. We were in an emergency and blew a tired on the side of highway 16 and needed for them to just slap a new tire on and they said they would take it then refused to serve us because they wouldn’t make time. I have kept in mind that they are only by appointment at this time but if they truly were concerned about their customers they wouldn’t have said they could help us then turned us away. So thank you for reassuring me that I will never use ANY discount tire again. The worst customer service I have ever had in my life.

The guys at Discount Tire we’re very knowledgeable and professional. I had only coming in for a tire rotation and did not realize that this was a no charge service. When I received my bill at the and and saw it was $0 I was taken back.I appreciate that they took good care of my car and had the tires rotated very quickly. I may not have spent any money that day but because of the quality service given and level of professionalism I will certainly be returning for any and all tire needs.

We walked in 20 minutes before close, we were greeted and helped right away. We purchase tires they made it so easy for us! Let me tell you even after close time they squeezed us in for a tire installation. Another customer recommended discount tires while trying our luck at Costco total fail.

Had an inspection done here and all 5 tires aired up to spec. Check in staff was very friendly and covid aware. Axar the tech was extremely helpful and was very thorough in explaining what was going on with my tires.

Since moving to WA a couple of years ago from CO, this Discount Tire has been awesome. Yes, they are always busy, but take care of you as quickly as possible with the utmost professionalism and outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend this business. The staff here is really knowledgeable and helpful. My most recent visit here was great and I trust their work. Get here as early as possible. The only negative thing I have to say is the wait time here are unbelievable. I arrived 30 mins after opening and it took them 3hrs to get done with a tire replacement on my car.

I still go here and would be 5 star BUT went to get tires replaced and after service i was missing the cover to my taillight. Called and they said they were not near the back of the car but they did lift it and lower it. Makes me wonder how rough they were with it. Had an inspection right before and right after service was done by discount and was there for first inspection and not there for the second.5* service - Went for free air check and they found a nail in tire and patched it for FREE.I really wish i could give 5* but the new taillight costs a lot.

I have been here several time for various tire issues and every time everyone here was extremely helpful and nice. They always go above and beyond to make sure my tires are safe to drive. I recently bought new tires from here just because of the great service I received before I bought their tires. The waits can sometimes be long if you dont have an appointment, but they always do a fantastic job.
