I had a very thorough cleaning by Michelle, the hygienist. She is great. Also, Since my teeth were healthy, Dr. Ivan actually reduced my xray frequency down to every other year! I have never had a dentist do that…it made me very happy. Thanks College Hill Dental!

As a new patient I didnt know what to expect. I have had many varied experiences in dental offices over the 68 years I have been going to dentists. My experience here was the very best of all the experiences I have ever had. Firstly, they were very friendly, welcoming, and informative in all areas: billing/insurance, services provided (what they could do for me) scheduling of appointments was easy and not a lot of wait time. I was able to get in to see the dentist within a week. I got preventative care done first: x-rays and cleaning by someone who had 31 years of experience. Then the dentist came in and spent plenty of time going over the x-rays, and plan of action. I did not have to wait long for him (many dentist are doing 3 and 4 patients at once and he focused on me. As soon as the hygienist was done with me he came in and interpreted the x-rays, taking time to look at them thoroughly. Then he made a plan of action and within a week I was scheduled to be treated, and get my cavities filled. When I came in to have my cavities filled, the procedure was simple and to the point. Not a lot of uncomfortable apparatus. His technique and communications skills were excellent. He focused on treating me and I had very little wait time. Just enough for the novocaine to get absorbed. Before I new it he was done with 2 fillings. It was so smooth and easy. I cant recommend he and his staff highly enough. You are very lucky if you get treated by this dentist. He is very caring and competent!!! I am so grateful to have him as my new dentist!!!

I’ve been a patient of College Hill dental for about 15 years. So thankful that I have such a great dentist!! Dr. Paskalev is wonderful - he explains everything in great detail, has a great sense of humor and I love that he’s always making strides to improve the practice by implementing new technology.My hygienist, Jen, is also amazing and Karen at the front desk is so sweet! I’m a big chicken when it comes to dentists but everyone from Jewel and Karen at the front desk to Jenn and Matt as our hygienists to Dr. Ivan was beyond wonderful! No pain, very caring, very understanding, very professional. My husband and I are looking forward to our next visit. This is a year of change and so glad we made the change to College Hill Dental and Dr. Ivan.

The office was very responsive to an emergency situation, and incredibly efficient at dealing with it, while putting plans in place for follow up procedures, coordinating with a specialist, etc. Helpful and friendly throughout, theyre topnotch!

Jenn, my hygienist does an great job of cleaning my teeth. She is friendly and caring. Dr. Paskalev did a fantastic job of re-bonding my crown. He also smoothed out some rough spots that were left when the other dentist put the crown on originally. He is always friendly and ready to listen to any concerns.

Update: I came in a few months later for a routine cleaning and Karen, one of the receptionists, pulled me aside and we cleared the air with everything that happened and was very kind. I think we were both stressed with trying to figure out insurance and so I think on both ends things were a bit tense. I truly appreciate her kind words and maturity with the whole situation. :)Honestly: it would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the receptionists. Dr. Paskalev did a wonderful job on my fillings, and Matt was a kind hygienist who thoroughly explained all procedures to me. The receptions on the other hand were rude to me on both occasions I’ve visited College Hill Dental. Telling them to have a nice day, only to receive eye rolls. Both women were degrading to me during the entire check-out experience. It’s sad to say, but everyone else acted incredibly professional and even if the small talk was just for show by many of the doctors/assistants, it beats the cruelness I was faced with by them.

The dental hygienist was excellent and very through. Dr. Paskalev answered all my questions and provided and expert opinion on my gum recession issues.

The Broken Tooth and the Happy EndingYesterday, just before 5p I boke off a large piece of my front tooth and it was very noticeable. I had a Zoom meeting today with an important new customer at 11.30a and didnt want that to be my first impression. I called Dr. Paskalevs office and they quickly scheduled me for 10a today--in one hour he and his Assistant Sharon had completely repaired the tooth, 18 hours after the accident. I made it to the meeting on time and looking good (at least my teeth). The best dentist Ive had in my life and Ive been seeing dentists for 55+ years. The people there really live their 4 stated goals of: Compassion, Integrity, Optimal Health, Relationships. Thank you Dr. Paskalev, Sharon, Karen, and Team College Hill Dental!

I had my teeth cleaned at my last appointment. Im sixty six years old, and my former wife (now deceased) was a dental hygienist, and she taught me a lot about dental health.Matt was my hygienist last week, and he was the best Ive had the pleasure to meet. He taught me a few things about teeth and gum care that I never knew, his touch was superior, he was thorough, and Matt was fun. I am impressed!

I have been getting messages from this Dental Practice for some time. I have called them several times to let them know that I am not a patient in their practice and that I do not live Oregon and to please remove my name and email address from their patient list. If this continues I plan to sue.

I have to agree with several other reviewers: After spending more than 20 years with a dentist, you tend to have high expectations concerning anyone new. Luckily Dr. Ivan was a hands down choice and someone I will easily plan on spending the next 20 years getting to know! The staff has always been superb and I absolutely love the addition of technology into the office and routines. I have never had a negative experience and I anticipate never having to worry about one either.

Dr. Ivan is awesome! The practice has improved since his arrival, and hes been willing to do a procedure on my daughter that we had previously been referred out-of-office to have completed. Just had my first exam and cleaning with them, and wow! Professional, friendly and gentle from start to finish. I came to them after trying a dental office in town thats part of a discount national chain (wont name names...). They had college students working the front desk, and tried to upsell me multiple times on an expensive toothbrush. So glad I switched. Here, the woman at the front has been in the industry for years and years, Jen the hygienist was gentle and friendly, and Dr Ivan was as well! He even recommended less work than the last place, because he said he didnt want to drill unless it was completely necessary. THANK YOU!
