Nat arrived to give us an estimate on some window replacements and he was very professional. He recommended we stop by the showroom and see their products. We didn’t know if our windows were under warranty from the original manufacturer and recommended we talk to Michael at their office. Michael was very informative and suggested we contact the manufacturer and ask if our windows were under warranty ( they were) and so we’re getting at no cost. They were helpful and honest, even though we didn’t do business this time , we will definitely do business with in the future.

Great people to work with and a great product. We’ve used them twice for three sliders and 12 windows.They just finished the last install today, day before Thanksgiving, we have family house guests, one window was in the guest room. No problem, they worked around all our needs, keptthe cats from escaping, dealing with the overly friendly dog.Workers always wore masks, polite and professional.They moved all the heavy stuff, and cleaned everything up both days.We couldn’t imagine anyone doing a better job with a wonderful product. Good as it gets!!

WOW! As I ambled toward the newly installed sliding glass doors and window, all I could say was WOW! They were absolutely stunning! They were even more beautiful installed than what we saw in the Coughlin Windows & Doors showroom! Our home went from common and ordinary to classy and elegant the instant the doors and window were installed. Even our children could not believe the amazing difference they made. We use to keep the blinds closed most of the time, but now we keep them open, just so we can look at these beautiful white vinyl doors with a symmetrical grid pattern!We found Coughlin online and after reading a few of their 200+ Five Star reviews, we contacted them for a bid. Stephen Brandon responded immediately and set up a time to come to our home to take measurements. What a likable, friendly, and knowledgeable individual. He arrived on time, listened attentively to what we envisioned, took measurements and wrote down notes. During the measuring, Stephen noted that the sliding glass door on one wall was higher than the sliding glass door on the adjoining wall. He said they would fix it so they would be level with one another. He really has an eye for detail and perfection!Within a few days we received the most unbelievable, professionally drawn up bid imaginable! He, and I believe another employee named Jared Bass, had provided individual specifications with an accompanying drawing for each of the three sliding glass doors and the window. Since our doors and window were each uniquely sized, he had to make a special order so the grid patterns on each of the items would appear the same to the naked eye when placed next to each other. This was no easy task! And the quoted price was beyond fair for what they were providing! We accepted!A few weeks later, installers Robby and Steve, and later, Stephen, arrived with our specially designed doors and window. Like Stephen, these two were also likable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their work was totally perfection driven. It was obvious that they definitely knew what they were doing! And when they left, you couldnt even tell they had been there! They hauled away everything and only left the mark of exceptional workmanship!The pictures below dont do justice to the incredible difference that these white vinyl grid doors made to our home, but we just wanted to provide you with some evidence of their amazing detailed work. Coughlin Windows was great in every aspect. They came out for a bid and were very professional. The were similarly priced to other bids, but the windows carry a lifetime warranty, so we chose them. They gave us an install date and were there promptly when promised. Steve and Lando completed the installation in record time and were great. They were very careful of the floors during installation and cleaned up the entire area as well as the windows. We did notice a few scratches on the glass that probably occurred during installation and they put in an order to replace the glass. Very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend, especially with the work done by Steve and Lando.

I had to replace an old sliding glass door with new construction, and I’m glad I chose to work with this company. There was an installation delay due to the door manufacturer but the team at Coughlin was communicative and very apologetic. The installers did a great job and were happy to answer all my questions. My old windows were removed and 9 windows and 1 sliding glass door were installed in a little less than 6 hours. I was super impressed by this company. Nate stopped by to provide a quote. He was very honest, which I appreciate. He was able to provide a quote on the spot (most companies are old school and take a few days to provide pricing). I loved that! Their turnaround time and warranty pushed them over the edge and so I decided to move forward.Just a few weeks later, Steve and his partner came to do the install. They were punctual, communicative and friendly. They even asked for touch up paint for the exterior of the house to make sure the job looked perfect when they left. They were in an out in no time at all. I wish I would have known better to use these guys from the very beginning (vs my last three windows in the house). Id highly recommend!

I chose Coughlin Windows after interviewing a few other business. The decision was to replace my existing windows with Simonton Daylight Max replacement windows. Now my house feels like it has new views and light comfortably streaming in creating a brightness and ambience.The windows are secure nice to operate and look fantastic. I can notice a distinct quieter transfer of noise from outside to the interior.The installers were able to preserve almost all of my window sills which I requested and am happy about.Coughlin knows what theyre doing they have the experience and professionalism that consumers are looking for. Their pricing was completely competitive. My windows were installed on October 23rd 2020.I had 10 windows replaced. The crew started in the morning and the job was completed by mid-afternoon.It feels good to know that I supported a business located in Escondido and serving San Diego as opposed to a large corporation.They have a showroom and office in Escondido so you can go in and check out examples and learn about the windows.Everything went smoothly from the initial visit and helping me decide upon the particular windows, along with my interaction with the office, the owner who came out to do the final measuring and the crew who does the install.I chose to have double hung window in my master bath which I absolutely love. Highly recommended!We met with several companies about windows/doors and are glad we decided to go with Coughlin. From the initial meeting to the quick installation, they were very easy and professional to work with. We noticed a small scratch on a pane of glass after everything was installed (one of those: easy to miss but once you see it you always see it), and they replaced it without any issue or hassle. We are definitely going to recommended them to anybody that asks.

We had Coughlin replace 5 windows and a slider in our 1976 condo. The service was extremely professional from start to finish. Gerald came by our house and personally walked us through exactly what he was going to do, gave us a complete list of product specs and a detailed estimate before he even left! He is not the cheapest, but I believe he is the most thorough, honest, and of the highest quality.I wasnt there for the installation, but I understand that the crew made my wife feel extremely comfortable and were very courteous. They also got the job done much quicker than originally anticipated. She was very impressed, and the job was complete in one day before I got home from work.Overall, I would recommend Coughlin Windows to anyone looking to replace a couple windows or their entire house. Thomas and Shawn did a fantastic job installing our windows. We replaced 11 windows on our 1953 house AND they did it in a day. They cleaned up after themselves and left their work space in better condition than when they arrived. Diane was great to reschedule with us and gave us an earlier slot than we originally had planned for the installation. Worked out great as they were installed just before the heat wave hit. Steve, who played clean up, was great as well. Again the service, communication, and quality Steve, Thomas and Shawn gave was above and beyond anything we could have ever hoped for. Coughlin Windows and Doors were top notch from estimate through installation.We will certainly use them again to do the rest of our windows. The three interactions we had (estimate, measurement, and installation) were easy and quick, while their communication was top-notch. As a bonus, they also had the best price, but not at the expense of the windows they installed, which are well reviewed.My wife and I agreed: we should have upgraded much sooner.

We had David come over to give a quote for replacing four windows in our house- two in our bathroom to get privacy glass and two in our bedroom that couldnt be opened. David gave me the quote on the spot and it easily beat out the other two quotes that we received. He was patient in scheduling a time for us to come choose our style of privacy glass and the installation happened in the exact time frame that he promised it would. We are very happy with our improved windows and will gladly use Coughlin for any window replacements we need in the future.

What a wonderful company! Gerald came out to give us a quote. He was so kind and professional and completely backed the Simonton product that they install. He had me sold, but we decided to gather two other estimates. Coughlin windows was the best price for the product. Less than 2 weeks after taking measurements, the installation crew arrived with our windows. The installers were so professional and had the installation done in seven hours. They cleaned up everything as they went, I hardly noticed they were in my house all day. When we started our search for retrofit windows we started with the windows, then looked for an installer. Based on reviews, the Simonton brand is proven, high quality, and offers a superior warranty. An additional benefit is the construction of the window does not make the window pane bow/bend as many other retrofit windows do, making the others look cheap in my opinion.Gerald from Coughlin has high standards, which is why I chose him to install our Simonton windows and doors. His crews are experienced, well trained, and they use better quality materials which accounts for their somewhat higher price than the least expensive guys out there. Since we expect these windows and doors to be here for many years to come, we felt that the slightly higher price was worth it.Coughlin gets four stars rather than five for a few hiccups that occurred during the installation. Did we end up with properly installed windows and doors? Without a doubt. Could it have been done without these issues. Yes. Gerald and I had a discussion when all was complete and his goal is to remove as many of those hiccups as possible from future jobs. I would highly recommend Gerald and his team for anyone needing windows or doors in their home.
