Ace has rented 4 of my cars now over the last several years. I’ve also been really happy to refer a couple friends of mine over there for renting their car windows. The quality and professionalism is unmatched in this industry! I have experienced nothing but the absolute best quality and lasting window tents ever! I’ve certainly had other window tents in my lifetime and frequently would have discoloration, peeling, and scratching. Never do I ever have anything remotely like that from Ace! If you’re looking to tent your car, or home/business windows, Ace would be so worth the shot and would not be let down!

Wonderful! Not only is the customer service amazing, they got me in next day. When I brought my car in they told me it would be about an hour and a half and I was pleasantly surprised when they were finished in 40 min! Quality is great! I definitely recommend going here!

I’ve had a lot of cars tinted in my days and usually have to wait a long time to get tints on/off. I called Ace Tinting on a Tuesday of Thanksgiving week to ask about removing my dark illegal tints, and If I could come back to put legal tints on after I went to PD to get sign off for a citation. Both Andrew and Adrian were on point!! They told me I could come in that Friday...(as in Black Friday!!) and they could remove and replace them in the same day. I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment nor to get the car in. They were true to their word, delivered exceptional service and really efficient. I found my tint shop for any future tinting needs. Highly recommended!!

The guys at Ace are outstanding! I brought in a vehicle with a panoramic sunroof that had bubbling and wrinkling in the original film. They were able to remove the old film and put new film on. It turned out amazing especially considering they had to cut out the old film with a razor blade!

Very professional and friendly. I initially visited just to get some information. They took the time to go over the different grades and shades of tint that they offer, and even took me into their parking lot to show me examples of tint on different cars. They were happy to give me advice, but didnt pressure me at all. They were very accommodating and made an appointment for me to get the job done a few days later. On the day of my appointment, they took me right on time and finished a little earlier than they said they would. The results were outstanding. The tint is flawless and looks great. I wish I had gotten my windows tinted years ago, and I will take every car that I get to Ace. Im a customer for life!

Received good customer service from Adrian and their crew. Noticed an issue with my door panel which was resolved.

Very disappointed in quality of work and the way we were treated, bought a certificate for my boyfriend to get his windows done, and scheduled an appointment. Apparently the appointment didnt matter, when he got there, 3 people were waiting before him, so it was rushed and done last in the day, when his appointment was at 2. They also scratched one of the windows and left materials in our trunk. I will be calling soon to try and get my money back because having an appointment should have skipped the rush and we are very upset that they ruined parts of our brand new car.

Quick and professional

Showed up for my 12:30 Appt but they never wrote it in their schedule book. Took half day off work to get tint. They said theyd work me in around other people and it wouldnt be done until after 5 now. Said hed knock a couple bucks off but I didnt want a rush job and I didnt want to sit there for 5 hrs hoping theyd fit my car in. Ill go somewhere else that has a better scheduling process.

Called around to a few other places. Ace gave me the lowest price of the places I called. I got the SunTek CXP film installed on my car. The service was great from start to finish. The car came out looking great.

READ THIS before taking your vehicle to Ace Window Tinting:In May 2018, we brought our new mini-van in for window tinting. As my family has a genetic predisposition to skin cancer, as well as light sensitivity, our goal was to have the same dark film applied to the windows as weve done with all our vehicles over the past decade without ever encountering problems with the police as so many vehicles in San Diego are darkly tinted.But, when we arrived at Ace, Adrian (the owner) relentlessly pressured us away from what we wanted, to a much lighter shade. A few minutes later when we expressed reticence at the lighter shade, we were told us it was too late, even though they hadnt started to apply any film. After our vehicle was finished, it was evident the tint did not block the sunlight the way we needed it to, causing us to be dissaatisfied, because we were pressured away from the product we walked in knowing we wanted.Coincidentally, during an hour-long talk with another customer in the Ace waiting room, it so happened he was there to get his windows retinted after having the same experience with Adrian talking him out of the darker tint he wanted on his new RV. So there he was having the same windows redone a second time - AT HIS COST - with the darker tint he wanted in the first place, something he found odd when he overheard Adrian using the same pressure tactics on us.So while Adrian may feel he is providing a valuable service by steering customers toward the lighter tints, the examples above indicate its more probable customers are being driven away from what they really want due to advise intended to help customers avoid citations for a regulation that is rarely, if ever, enforced in our state.In summary, if we had a do-over, we would have stayed with our choice for dark tinting. At least then we would be happy with our $400 purchase, rather than having a discussion about how much we dont like the tint each time we get in the car . . .
