The facility is actually a beautiful home and you get your own private room. Nora is awesome and even went and got some of my favorite foods. Travis runs the day to day and is just amazing. They have a set schedule and there is free time as well. I was even allowed to leave and go to lunch with my mom once I was feeling up to it. The Doc that comes the see you was very detailed and explained everything that will happen, what meds you will be taking and answered all my questions. He was a joy. It is a very relaxed and casual environment and they even cooked wonderful food for dinner every night. I feel wonderful now that I am done... I almost didnt want to leave. I hope I dont need rehab again but if I do I am going right back to them. Thank you so much Travis and Nora!

Where do I begin? I was a broken soul when I arrived at Harmony Grove. I had lost my will to live. When I entered through the door, I immediately felt a calm presence fall over me. Firstly, “luxury” isn’t an overstatement. The house is beautiful, clean, organized, and so comfortable. A perfect place to heal and recover. The combination of daily therapy, group sessions, journaling, and coping skills are unique to this program, and an integral part of recovery. The daily schedule allows you to recalibrate and reestablish healthy habits. The team support of Nora, Dustin, Jacob, Amy , and Tracy will change your life. Not to mention the Yoga sessions by Jennie, and massages, outings to the pool, and other therapeutic activities. Daily exercise in the well appointed onsite gym was an integral part of my progress. The abundance of delicious food and dinners cooked by Dustin were amazing. I really cannot say enough about how this literally saved my life. I’ve endured 60 years of trauma and 48 years of addiction of one kind or another. I’ve had dozens of therapists and countless medications, all to no avail. If I could have stayed at Harmony Grove forever, I would have! Nora was instrumental in taking care of my insurance issues to make sure I got the treatment I needed. I’ll be forever grateful to Harmony Grove for giving me my life back. I will not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone and everyone who is seeking help. I have worked and been exposed to many different substance abuse and recovery programs and Harmony Grove by far exceeds every other facility. The owner and program director Nora is in the facility consistently ensuring the best plan of individualized treatment for each client. I have been employed at this facility as the companies EMT and RADT since they have been open and I can say safety and compliance is imperative here. I would recommend this treatment to anyone that is looking to seriously have a positive and effective treatment.

This place is awesome!! The name says it all, Harmony. During my 60 days I learn the value of sobriety and the importance of recovery. The therapists and counselors are very well educated in their field of study and work diligently to see that youre successful. Each residents program is flexible and tailored to each persons needs. I enjoyed having my own bedroom, privacy, and the ability to relax and focus on my recovery. They actually do care and display a level of love that no other facility can offer. Prior to coming to Harmony Grove Recovery I was a broken man and had a serious addiction. Being here has taught me how to live without drugs. I have my family back and able to rebuild my relationship with my son. The therapists and counselors are very knowledgeable and professional. The program director, Nora, tailors the program to your individual needs. Dustin is compassionate and very encouraging. Unlike other facilities, youre able to have access to your cell phone and other electronic devices. On my birthday, they celebrated with cake and ice cream and went all out on decorations. If you have to go to rehab come HERE! I was reluctant at first, but came in with the intention to only complete 30 days. The program was so good that I decided to extend my stay to 3 months. Theyre very flexible and try to work with everyones needs. The therapy and groups were professionally facilitated with a desire to see everyone succeed. I enjoyed the hikes, yoga, and the beach trips. Its a relaxed atmosphere and enjoyable environment. The food is good too.

This is my story.I just finished my last session, virtually, with a therapist at Harmony Grove Recovery. I entered the intensive outpatient program for an alcohol addiction that had been affecting my life for years and was starting to take over. My husband and I called several places, and many of them told us she needs to be inpatient, no visitors and she literally cannot stop. I knew that I desperately needed help, but I also knew that I didnt want to shut down my life if I didnt need to just because those were the rules.When I called Harmony Grove and spoke with Nora, the conversation was completely different. What did I need for my recovery? At that time I was considering inpatient, but I needed to be able to have zoom meetings to continue my job. Other places made it a requirement to take away all electronic devices, or allowed maybe one hour per day, and had a minimum 30 day admission. They were making me choose between employment or getting the help I needed. Harmony Grove gave me the flexibility to tailor my rehabilitation that would best work for me, without unnecessarily disrupting my life. For me, I decided that I would start outpatient. If outpatient wasnt working, THEN I was willing to admit myself for more intense treatment. No matter what, this was going to get handled. As it turns out, I didnt need inpatient.I am so grateful for the quality of care that I received from Amy and Tracy, the two therapists that I met with. I learned to understand my addiction, what got me there, how to overcome it, and how much better it is for me to live without it; all of this without needing to retransition back to my life outside the treatment center. I came to Harmony Grove with a habit that was consuming me and ruining my family, my job, and my ability to enjoy life. I felt that I couldnt enjoy life without alcohol even though it was destroying me, and I couldnt imagine going through my week, my month, my year without drinking. I am leaving the program actually wanting sobriety, and look forward to each day in a way that I havent since I was a kid, with a lot more wisdom and life experience. I am once again on a path of living the life I always wanted to: feeling the comfort of family, the warmth of community and friends, the fulfillment of giving my best at work, truly enjoying lifes little pleasures, waking up fresh and going to bed full. I highly recommend Harmony Grove for anyone who wants or needs help with addiciton.

Harmony Grove is just that, a place of Harmony. My experience was positive and I enjoyed my time here. They met all my needs in a professional manner. Dustin is very patient and goes above and beyond than what is expected. The counselors and therapists were knowledgeable and helped me over come my addiction to alcohol. I also enjoy the massages and the fun activities that we did too!

Wow. This was the best recovery center Ive ever been to. I thought it would be ghetto, like the rest. Its definitely luxury with professional trained staff. I had several health issues including nephropathy in my foot. It required the bandages to be changed twice a day. Dustin was very attentive and caring. Nora was kind enough to modify my treatment to my mitigating health issues. Even the doctor stated that I wouldnt have received the attention anywhere else but here.I was able to detox from fentanyl in a nice comfortable setting. Im so thankful and still continue to keep in touch with Dustin and Nora.I highly recommend this place, you will not find anything better.

I work at Harmony Grove Recovery . It is a beautiful facility that helps detox patients and then enters them in to a world of holistic psychology. The patients learn all aspects of recovery and further more how to live a healthy, balanced life. Nora the owner, is so wise and inspirational. Dustin is an amazing house manager They combine hiking, meditation, yoga, massage, one in one therapy, process groups, twelve steps, full gym, healthy cooking and daily journaling Its located in new part of Escondido that is beautiful. The facility is surrounded by nature with beautiful scenery. Harmony grove has a Wonderful , healing, calming energy all around it.

After a little of over a month of being at harmony grove I can honestly say this is exactly what I needed to get out of my addiction and the mental state I was in. The staff and therapists were great and the hospitality was just right. Would highly recommend HGR for anyone struggling with addiction and are attempting to get into recovery.

My experience was very positive. I learned many coping skills and addiction relapse prevention. I loved the home and the small amount of people.The rooms are nice and the treatment is centered on each individual. Besides treatment, we went on hikes, walks, attended AA meetings, and had access to a full-size gym.The staff is very well trained and professional. Harmony Grove gave me my life back!

This place is beautiful! I did a detox then transitioned into inpatient. I was assigned an awesome detox staff member and saw the doctor regularly. Jacob did an amazing job! I had my own bedroom with bathroom. The owner is very kind she really makes sure each persons recovery is individual. I loved my therapy, everyone was very knowledgeable and caring. I am still sober today and thankful for this program! The facility continues to stay in touch and offer support. I recommend this facility to anyone wanting help!

Im a Massage Therapist with a Mobile Massage service and started working with Harmony Grove a couple months ago. The thing I noticed most when I first walked in, was the energy... calm, compassionate and very grounding... The home is lovely and super comfortable. Im most impressed with all of the support and resources they offer. A great environment to re-set, and so many tools and skills taught to help people be successful after their stay. Friendly staff. Plenty of perks - lap pool, hikes, beach day, decent gym onsite, ping pong, tv, and yoga. Not too stringent with rules. You can keep your cellphone and iPad. I highly recommend it.

This is a very welcoming, warm and beautiful facility inside and out. Nora was incredibly helpful through this entire experience for my brother; this facilities medical staff is of top notch and provided excellent medical detox care they were always very helpful and caring it’s always so clean every time I’ve visited my brother when he was there. He had his own private room his entire stay , cooked meals and an excellent staff that worked with him on his specific needs to better himself. I HIGHLY recommend this facility for anyone seeking treatment.

Harmony helped my son with anxiety and depression. They provided therapy and activities and review medication if needed or changes as necessary. Nora was always available for questions while still respecting patient privacy.

Being in the drug rehab marketing industry we find out who the best addiction treatment centers real are. The staff at Harmony Grove Recovery is incredible. Right from start at their alcohol detox center in Escondido they guide you through the treatment process. We watched them teach individuals how to prevent relapse. We also witnessed something incredible as they brought out other issues individuals didnt even know they had. Apparently most addiction problems stem from what is called co-occurring disorders. It was emotional watching individuals with trauma, depression and anxiety being able to let go and become an entirely different individual with focus. After spending two weeks their rehabilitation centers in California and witnessing many entering long-term recovery is an experience that will stay with me a lifetime. I would highly recommend them as one of the best inpatient drug rehabs San Diego offers.
