Wait is long but well worth it. Therapist and staff are super nice and seem to genuinely care. Nurse seems kind of like a cold person but she is also nice.

This is an absolutely wonderful starting point for your starting place. They will help you over the course of whatever the quantity of visits you need to get going. It is however a starting place and is limited in extended care. Sometimes they may not be able to help you directly, but they help you get in touch with long term care.It is true you will have to wait between 3-7 hours, due to its emergency styled program. It is well worth the wait!El personal es bueno! Pero hay una larga espera.

I was here in 2019 because I moved from out of state and needed a medication refill before my new doctor could see me.The staff were polite and understanding, and the doctor was amazing! I wish she could be my regular doctor and it sure was refreshing to meet people in the Mental Health Care field who actually care!!! I started coaching people in mental health because the norm is a nightmare. If every provider were as great as the people here at Exodus Recovery Center I’d be out of a job (and I wish I was).

Friendly staff and good medication resource for the public. Intake and registration process takes hours to complete.

They are open until 4:00pm, but will only take walk-ins until around 11:00am because the process takes an extremely long time (and/or they are incredibly slow). Seems they can only service 3-4 people a day. Expect a 3-7 hour wait. Brutal.

!!!Call first!!!That other review is not acurate and does not reflect the quailty of this olace at all, please do not let it influence your choice in seeking help here. Its true they cant refill your meds, most medications have a limit or no refills avaible and thats something the prescriber has to deal with or you can seek a new medication which this clinic will help with.I first came here because it was the nearest place reconmended for emergencies after being discharged from a beahavior health inpatient program. They will take apoitments but most days if you walk in they can still make time for you, especially mornings.I have never had a bad experience here. The worst thing that comes to mind was a, lets say, less than charming recptionist but he was alright, even offered me coffee so I cant really complain just because I didnt like him personally. The medical staff here is very professional, but sometimes rushed.Theyre very considerate and will help just about anyone, I cant even discribe how it made me feel to be rejected by similar center on grounds that i wasnt severe enough when I was a great danger to myself.Esstiantly this place gives minimal medical help for psychological issues including but not limited to: addiction, abuse, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, etc. This is what Ive called a first step clinic. They will see you, give you something that should start helping and forward you to the appropriate places/people who can adjust tour medication properly and/or provide the therapy you need. They are not place to get a quick refill when you forget to order one at CVS, they are not outpatient therapists or rehab councilors. They are a crisis and emergency center, if tou are addicted or unmedicated, that is an emergency and they will set you back on the path to good health.Ive reconmeded this place to several friends and family members in Escondido, and through my own trouble with keeping the referal appointments they set up for me Ive been here many times. They will even let you bring someone with you if youre scared.Im doing much better now, This place gave me a chance to make that happen and its the kind of place that our government wants to defund, so please kindly if you have a postitive visit here leave 5 stars!
