I rarely leave reviews, but this one was earned. Ive had my car inspected here twice, and both times my day was made by my interactions with Rod. Hes the greatest example of what customer service should be - kind, pleasant and does his very best to help however he can.

Outstanding customer service! Very compassionate and trustworthy. My daughter recently moved to Erie and needed her battery replace. She purchased her battery at an auto part store only to find out that they wouldnt install the battery and gave her a lame excuse why they couldnt. After calling and talking to Musolfs, I knew my daughter would be in good hands with them. They treated us like family, which was so reassuring to me being 300 mile away from my daughter. I would highly recommend Musolfs to anyone in the Erie area.

Nice people, great work, and fair price! My first time there was because my skid plate was dragging. He fixed it and didnt even charge me! Everytime Ive been back, hes been honest, fair, friendly, and quick! Highly recommended!!!!!!

Rod and the team at Musolf’s are incredible. I’ve taken my car - secondhand, foreign, over 160,000 miles - in many times and Rod has always educated me on what’s going on, what he can do for me, and what I need to go to the dealership for. When I do need to go to the dealership for specific parts or work, he coaches me on what to ask for. I’ve even called him before while at the dealership so he could advise me on whether or not the “critical repair” according to the dealer was needed or not. His attention to detail, expertise, and ability to teach and make me feel included are the reasons why I always take my car to Musolf’s first. Oil changes, inspections, basic repair, consulting on potential problems - I feel safe and in control on the road because Rod took care of my car. Take your car to Musolf’s, they are the most honest mechanics I’ve ever dealt with.

I am very thankful that I was recommended to Rod to get my starter replaced. From the first phone call to dropping my car off to picking it up when it was done he was very kind, honest, and so helpful. I had called around to other places getting quotes and they were so outrageous compared to what Rod charged me. He did a fantastic job and got the job done quickly. I definitely recommend him to everyone. I have finally found a garage that I can trust and I will definitely return again for my automotive needs.

I called Rod on a Friday night at 4:55pm with a flat tire, he was happy to check it out for me. It had a hole in it, so on a 90 degree day, he put my spare on so I could get home. The following Monday he had the replacement tire for me same day.He is good to you on a regular service day, and just as wonderful at the end of a long hot week, he is amazing! I wont take my vehicle anywhere else!

I had my car towed here after hours, unannounced, by recommendation of the tow driver. By the time I got up the next morning the mechanic had returned my call & told me my car would be done and ready to be picked up by the time I was done with work! Outstanding! This is my new mechanic for life.

I go to college in the area and am from out of town. The first time I had some car troubles, someone sent me to Rod. He helped me out right away and gave me some advice on how to take care of it myself if it happened again. Fast forward about a year later... I was having some serious car problems and Rod wasnt available. He gave me the name and number of another place to take it near where I was working. Just recently I called Rod again to ask if he could look and see why my car was making a weird sound. He stayed late and came in early to help get it fixed up so I didnt have to miss any school or work. He always does his best to charge a fair price and is one of the most honest people I have ever met! I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

I had nothing but great experiences with Rod over the past year. He really went out of his way to make sure I was getting a good deal and he would even explain to me what he did and show me the damaged parts he replaced when I picked my car up. They always got my car in within a few days and fixed it up pretty quick. Ill be hard pressed to find a someone I trust with my car as much as I trust Rod when I move away from Erie!

I am new to Erie and was having some car trouble. Rod took at my car for a full day and looked into everything. He let me know it was actually a small issue that ended up costing WAYYY less than I thought. Any other car dealership would have charged me so much money for time and would have thrown in extra parts I dont need. So so thankful for this place!

Last weekend I was staying in Erie for a wedding in Edinboro. I woke up early in the morning to a car crisis; I live 4 hours away from the area and had very little cash to spare. I was recommended by a friend to call Rod(the owner). He explained how busy he was and that he was booked till Wednesday. I explained my dire need to get it looked at and the circumstances of my situation. He immediately understood my stress and told me to stop by. I was able to drive the car to him. When I pulled up and introduced myself he stopped what he was doing to help me. Now of course he couldnt do a full fix for me but he did look over, give me a temporary fix, and gave me his opinions of how I should handle the situation. Overall he was a great man who was able to distract me from distress through conversation. I am very appreciative of his good deed to me and will reccomend him to anyone.
