John really helped me out. Its a miracle this place is open on Sundays. Saw me right away and diagnosed the problem. I had taken my car to a different shop and it turns out they only did half the job. While it was costly (nature of the service) my car is on its way to passing inspection being safe to drive daily. I just recently had my car worked on from one of your car shops, in which I am highly disappointed in the service that I received.After the overall brake inspection I was told that I needed all 4 brakes fixed(but I just had the back 2 fixed). While they were fixing the rear brakes it was determined that the calipers needed to be fixed as well. So I gave the go ahead for the mechanics to fix said problem. I sat there for 5 hours, it was a Saturday so I understood a little why it was taking so long. Once the mechanic was finished he stated that I’d have a little bit of an issue with braking as I drove because I only got the rear brakes done and not the front brakes done as well. I then paid and drove off, all the while when braking I had to push the brake to the floor to completely stop my car. Today I had an appointment at a different shop to look at the front brakes but I also had them look at the rear brakes to determine why I was having to push the brake pedal to the floor. It was determined at this shop that I did NOT need front brakes at all and the calipers were not only not bled completely but they were put on the WRONG side of the car, which is not safe and I am not happy that your mechanic let the car out of the shop while it was improperly fixed. In the future I will not be using Mr. Tire again.

Took my Toyota there for an oil change a couple weeks ago. This week I noticed oil spots where I park. So I took it to my mechanic, he opened the hood and there was oil all over engine. They never put the filler cap back on after filling oil. Called them this morning to tell them what happened and they didn’t seem to care. Never again!

Great shop!! The guys there are honest and polite! I first went there because of numerous dishonest mishaps with a local Toyota dealership. So glad I found them, they have our business from here on out!

This place is awful! Bunch of scammers! I went there to get my state inspection. Before they even started my inspection they told me I needed new lug nuts $80, new controller arms $200 a piece and a realignment.. all in all $800 before they even looked at anything else ! Told them no way ! Took it to another shop and all I needed was lug nuts . Place is a joke and they have awful customer service . Never going there again! Don’t recommend.. STAY AWAY !

NEVER go here to get an oil change! The place is a dump. Manager has NO customer service sense. They broke off my oil drain plug and took 90 minutes to complete a 30-minute job. Quoted $42 total - ended up costing over $70. Stay away.

Initially I had work done at another shop in NY 6 AUG 2021, that included getting a set of 4 new tires and a wheel bearing replaced total cost $1527.04. First issue, the tires were 5mm taller and required the removal of aftermarket mud flaps do to rubbing. Not a huge issue. I proceeded to drive home after the 5+ hour visit and immediately noticed vehicle shake upon reaching speeds above 60 mph. Since I worked local to the shop I continued to drive the vehicle due to personal time restraints. This included a trip to PA (300+ miles one way) where driving above 60mph caused my vehicle to shake wildly. Upon returning to NY I took my vehicle back (9 AUG 2021)to the shop that installed the tires and told them the issues and that I thought that maybe one of the balancing weights had fallen off. The shop fit me in or so they said they could during our phone call. I ended up spending another 4+ hours waiting again. 9+ hours in total waiting and $1527.04 spent.Your location in Ephrata, PAI called on my drive down on the evening of the 19th to see availability for an appointment on the 20th. The phone attendant asked me if I could bring the vehicle by at 9AM. With that I replied great see you in the morning. This is where the saga began. My family and I (3 kids under the age of 15)brought the vehicle in the morning of the 20th were I was told that the appointment wasnt until 10 oclock. Shawn the store manager said that this wasnt an issue and he would get us in. I told Shawn the symptoms about the vehicle shaking at any speed above 60mph. Gave keys to service desk and went to near by Walmart on foot to shop while vehicle was getting looked at. Within 30 minutes Shawn had called me and said there were some major issues with my brakes and that a ball joint was severely loose as well. Original tire balance went from Brakes- calipers, rotors and pads in the front ($629.97) with a ball joint replacement ($590.98) totalling $1405.50 in repairs and 4 un- anticipated hours of waiting. But wait why werent these issues diagnosed in NY? At this point I had driven the vehicle for another 10 days to include a second trip to PA which had me at your garage in the early morning of 20 August 2021.Mr Tire Auto Services branded from Monro Auto Service in Rochester NY- all in all my experience with your store in NY was horrible and will cease placing my vehicle in there care. Shawn and his team in Ephrata truly shown there level of professionalism and care for there customers. Imagine the worst case scenario of my vehicle and family getting badly injured due to the lack of a basic courtesy inspection. Although the total cost placed a void in my pocket book of $2932.54 from both the NY and PA locations Im glad these faults had been fixed. I have identified duplicate charges and choices marked declined by the customer that after close inspection of my reciepts will be addressed through the Monro Inc.In closing I want to make perfectly clear that Shawn and his team in Ephrata were both professional and courteous and at this point will continue to receive business from my family and I. Don’t go here. Hidden fees everywhere. Definitely ask for the overall total because they cheated me. All they care about is the money. I just wanted a state inspection and I needed new tires. I thought okay and they said is was about $450. I go to pay and bill ended up over $800?! Hidden fees that they didn’t tell me about. I am greatly disappointed. Never coming here ever again!

Don’t trust the online appointment made an appt online and drive 45 mins on a bad tire. Arrived and they said my appointment has not been approved due to no stock …( no call Email or text ) .my tire went out on the way to another tire dealer who did have it in stock … I had to then get it towed another $145 and I may need a new rim …

Terrible shop and customer service. Staff lied about price of alignment service and charged more than quoted. When confronting about extra charges staff member started making up reasons why they charged more thinking I wouldn’t understand. The manager said all shops add extra fee’s to customers and it’s not only them. Serviced my car at many different shops never experienced anything like this before. Useless staff and managers. Please do not take your car here. They get people to believe prices are good and then add hidden fee’s after they completed service. Please don’t fall for this scam.

Brought in my vehicle to have oil change and inspection after moving to pa from out of state. Failed the vehicle saying i needed over 1000$ in repairs before it would pass. We declined services and took it elsewhere and it passed with flying colors and just needed a lightbulb. They also charged almost 200$ for an oil change and inspection because of hidden fees. STAY AWAY

Always great service at Mr. Tire! T did great work on my car and they gave me a great deal on all new tires when they weren’t able to repair them. I will always recommend Mr. Tire for all your car’s needs!

Terrible service. Cant get the job done. These guys cant even follow simple instructions when it comes to how to handle fleet vehicles. Tell me my rotors are fine one week then a week later they say theyre warped. If you have a fleet vehicle dont go here. They assume all work will be declined and dont even try even when I told them specifically how to handle it. Tried to give them an easy tire job and they argued about what tires are best when I was trying to get more expensive tires anyway! Oh and my truck had grime smeared all over the side upon pickup. Couldnt pay me to go back here! Owner of this place should be embarrassed.

Heard a scary noise and we had to drive over 2 hours. We went in and they found another problem and told us our tire wouldve fell off if we didnt come in. So in the end they saved our life driving home. The workers were super nice and explained everything. Highly recommend this place honest and amazing.

I needed a lot of work on my jeep to pass inspection and the guys stayed late and got it back to me faster then they originally thought.

They told me 1 3/4 hours for Oil change, inspection and balance, I went to the store and asked to call me asap, almost 2 hours no call, I called asked how us it going they explained they where busy, ok I understand happens. 15 minutes recieved call they cant find inspection and registration I told him I put it on his desk he looked some more found second copy in the car and told me it going take a while ok I understand, it happens, 1 1/2 hours later I went to the shop, car is on parking lot and story began balancer broke, techs left, car will not pass inspection leak oil. On questions did you change oil no, on Q. Did you took car in side one person replied yes another No simultaneously. Over 4 hours later I took my keys and went home.

Ive seen reviews from others saying its family/friends but I can assure you Im neither of those. We called Mr. Tire about getting the starter replaced on our F-150. I couldnt be happier about the experience, fair pricing, friendly service, open communication, no forcing on other services of your truck needs this or could use this...George was very friendly when setting up our appt and was able to get us in quickly. Tim was the mechanic we dealt with and he was very friendly and went above expectations to ensure we left as happy customers and we did☺will continue to use them in the future. Thanks!!

After working a 12 hour over night shift, having to go get a new tire put on my car was not something I was happy about having to do that morning. After my tire blew on my way into work the previous evening, a co worker recommended this place and I’m glad I went. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They took care of me pretty quickly and I was on my way home and to bed in no time at all. Thank you for a pleasant day experience!

I took my car for a basic oil change while I waited. A young lady came in about 10 min after me, also for an oil change. She was done and out in 15 min, while my oil change took 40 minutes. After paying, I got in my car and discovered dirty oil on the steering wheel and gear shift knob, and an oily handprint on the windshield. Upon starting the car, I got a low oil pressure warning. Along with being sloppy, the mechanic didnt put enough oil in my car. I had to go back in, wait in line, then explain the problem. I waited another 5-10 minutes while the problem was corrected, and used the bathroom to wash the oil off my hands. Clearly they have an employee that should not be working on cars.

I would highly recommend NOT going here for anything more than an oil change. I had my brake pads replaced about two weeks ago. A few days later I heard a loud knocking noise when I braked. Took it back to them and was told that there was nothing wrong with what they did and that it was a computer problem. They recommended I take it to the dealer, saying I could need a whole new computer. I took it to the dealer and the dealer said the brake job was so bad, they wanted to completely redo my brake pads and rotors for almost $1,000. I declined and took it back to Mr. Tire, who found a broken clip in my brake pad because the hardware was never replaced. They fixed the broken clip and I drove it home last night. Within five minutes, the noise came back again, despite the clip being fixed. Almost $500 later and my car is in worse shape than it was when I took it here. Theyre nice to deal with, but totally incompetent. Since Ive already been here three times and the problem still isnt fixed, Ill be taking my car to another mechanic to (hopefully) finally figure out whats causing the noise.

I was in here last night. On my way back to Delaware with my truck and trailer O had a tire blowout on my trailer and Mr. Tire was the nearest place. They had my tire in stock and had me in and out in less than 20 minutes. George was great and super nice. Thanks again!

Very disappointed, went in for a new battery and oil change. Next day had the check engine light on. Took it back in and didn’t do anything all day. Had to go to another garage to get it fix. Just needed the throttled cleaned but mr. Tired didn’t know. Will never recommend to anyone to go to this garage. Please go anywhere but here

Life savers!!!!!!! Was headed to a wedding about 3 hours from where I live and wound up getting a flat on route 222. We called this place because it was 5 mins away and told them how we were trying to make it to a wedding in time, they got us in and out in 20mins! It was the best customer service and we really appreciated it!!!! They were also all the nicest guys!! Thanks again!

Just left Mr. Tire, and I couldnt be more pleased!My wife got a flat tire on the way home from work, so I threw the spare on her car and brought the flat tire to Mr. Tire (which is thankfully open until 7pm - every other tire place in the area closes at 5pm). The tire unfortunately was too damaged to be patched, but the shop had the exact same tire in stock - they had the new tire on and had me on my way in under 30 minutes. I will definitely be back in the future for my tire needs! Thanks again to George and team for the excellent customer service, overall friendliness, and speedy work!

They shouldnt even be getting one star!This place is a total rip off!!I used to go there the get my oil changed, but last year a decided to get my inspection done as well (due to convenience). HUGE MISTAKE!! One month after my inspection I had to have my battery replaced to to corrosion (i was never told this in my inspection report). When tried to explain to George, he was very rude.Now here it is one year later and I have to have my transmission fluid and coolant flushed, again! I thought I had it done last year, I paid over 1,000 dollars for services apparently never rendered. My transmission fluid should not be black and burnt smelling one year after supposedly being flushed!I will be contacting the better business bureau on this one!

Im extremely happy with the service Russell provided. Like anyone, your never happy when you come in for a basic oil change and leave having spent $860 on other parts but Russell was fair and honest and was able to negotiate a really great deal for me. The other gentleman in the lobby also had nothing but great things to say. Im happy to have finally found a local shop that I can continually trust and support.

I bought 4 new tires. Im happy with the service. But I thought the price was kinda high.

Took my car in for tires and state inspection. They called me after their teenage looking mechanic looked over the car telling me that the rear break line has a leak in the middle of it, a tie rod that I had replaced about 2 months prior had play in it, and I needed both front wheel bearings. I will NEVER take another vehicle to them. The break line was fine when I drove it there and there was no sign of any leaks in the area I parked it in or going into the garage. But there is a large puddle under the car now.

I walked in with no appointment looking for tires for my vehicle on a Saturday at 2:00pm ( The Michelin’s I wanted weren’t in stock ) and they made a special trip to go get them and install them all within an hour and a half of arriving there. Thank you, Mr. Tire! I was in a bind and you helped me out. :)

Went in for tire replacement warrantied by the manufacturer, so did not have a choice in where the tires were replaced. I left with damage to my wheels and am being told curb rash even though photos were taken IN THEIR PARKING LOT prior to services being rendered that show NO DAMAGE.Will not be coming to this location for ANYTHING againOn top of that I found out that their techs are pressured by management to have friends and family members leave 5 star reviews for the location, even if they have NEVER been here!!! That seems like really shady business to me. So be warned if you are looking at 5 star reviews, they could be completely made up!!

We needed a nail pulled from a travel trailer tire, and the hole patched. The employee told me that there was a coupon on their website, and the job would be free. Who does that - thats awesome.After further inspecting the tire and how worn it was, I decided to inquire about pricing for a replacement instead. Their price was less than any other shops I have been to previously, so we replaced the tire and our worn spare as well.The job was done fast and I was happy with the result.The staff was friendly and helpful. While I was there, I heard the staff telling other customers about specials and coupons to save them money.

My son took a tire to Mr Tire that lost its seal to the rim, and needed to be remounted. They remounted the tire and sent my son on his way WITHOUT testing the tire. The tire didnt hold air. so he returned. Russ treated my son real nice, and they got the problem solved, and didnt charge him extra. I am willing to give 5 stars because they resolved this situation well. I do hope Mr tire starts to test their work. real simple to spray soapy water - especially if you know thats why the tire came in.

Recently I went to Ephrata Mr. Tire in hopes of gaining an emergency inspection. The Store Manager Tyler was very accommodating and professional. He was able to process my vehicle and request. After meeting Tyler you can see his “integrity” shine through in his personality; and that is a rare trait at times in this world.I would recommend anyone come in to the Mr. Tire Ephrata location and work with Tyler. He will make sure that you receive the highest quality of repairs at the modest of prices.

I went for a state inspection. My bill was 78.81. 30.95(state) 30.52(emission) 23.80( labor) after giving discount 19.44$.The labor 23.80, I asked why, and the person at the desk said they have changed me for putting on my license plate.This is a horrible store with terrible customer service!!I called many Mr. Tire stores and asked how much they would charge for an inspection and to put a new license plate on. EVERY OTHER store said the price for the inspection and that they DONT charge to put a plate on.I was never told by this store that I would be charged for this.I truthfully believe that they thought because im a foreigner that they could push one over on me! I will never bring my car back to this place.

Update 12-7-18 Theresa with Mr. Tire Cooperate got back to me based on the feedback here and rectified the entire situation. I have changed my 1 start rating to a 4 based on that response. I would recommend this company and service center based on the level of support both provided. Thanks for doing what was right!---------------So the shop was great, friendly, and expeditious. However, I forgot to mention a coupon I had for a free flat tire repair when I picked up my tire. As a result I was out 30 bucks for a simple plug. The shop was 30 minutes away so I emailed their cooperate office to hopefully rectify a portion of my bill as I was frustrated that I forgot to mention the coupon (sorta surprised they just didnt apply it anyways because it was on the internet). Needless to say the cooperate office never responded to my email.

Straight forward tire shop. The Greek manager George is the best. Whats not to like?

Russ was very accommodating. I had a screw in my tire. Traveling on Sunday is a difficult time to find a place that repairs tires. We were able to setup an appointment with Russ and the repair was promptly done.

Had to use these guys in a pinch and man did i make the right decision. Beyond being extremely patient with all my concerns, they were fast, knowledgeable, and very well priced. Highly recommended.

Perfect quick service, got me in at the last minute when I had a flat. Extremely professional.This is an update. I called Firestone, Jack Williams and several other tire companies for a trailer tire repair where I received all the same response..... they don’t work on trailer tires hahahahaha, absolutely stupid. I own a Lawn Care business and run into this issue all the time with tires and usually the repairs I need are not something that can be fixed with a tire patch kit from a store. I called Mr. Tire and as always, they’ll get me in right away.

George and Tyler are awesome to work with. They take adequate time to listen to the issues you are having and care about getting it fixed right. Definitely recommend!

They drove me back to my car, jumped the car and then replaced my battery in less time than they quoted. (30 minutes vs 45 quoted.) Speedy service and service with a smile. Highly recommend! After running around to a few different auto stores, Im glad I stopped here. Being a complete novice to all things auto related, it turns out I was even looking for the wrong part! A HUGE thank you to Tyler -- not only for his expert knowledge, but for being so pleasant and patient with me!!

Horrible experience, brought in my car to have it aligned and to have a new bearing installed. The shop destroyed the brand new part while installing it, claiming it was defective, they then installed an old rusty part from a junk yard and charged me for that part and the work. Also got charged for an alignment but when I left the shop the car seemed like nothing was ever done. Went to another shop to have it checked, they didnt do an alignment. So when I went back, I asked for a print out and the manager refused to print it saying hes not allowed to. I then showed him the report from another shop and we went to ask the mechanic who was supposed to do it. The mechanic said he never did it due to yet another broken part. The manager refused to refund me the alignment, and insisted that I come back with a new part that needs fixed, and theyll install it(not for free), and theyll give me an alignment for free. Even though I had already paid for it. Also almost forgot to mention they stripped 2 lug nuts which I had to replace at my own cost. Stay away from this shop, your car will come out more broken then when it drove in there.

Way to high of price for brakes.

Took my girlfriends car there to get 2 tires mounted and balanced. Tires weren’t balanced properly (it happens) so I took it back and they rebalanced them. They were worse than before. I thought I could trust them with a tire change since after all Tire is in their name but apparently they can’t even do that correctly. Wouldn’t reccomend taking your vehicle there for anything.

These guys are great. The techs are even friendly and happy to show you the broken part so you know they are trustworthy! 5 star shop if it werent for people wanting the impossible.

Awesome customer service. I recently got a tire changed at cjs and they just threw my tire in my trunk! Mr tire associate Tim and Jeremy put me back together and showed me how to put it back myself so I know for next time! They also got my oil changed scheduled same day on a Friday and gave me a 10 off coupon!!

Everyone one here was very nice. Showroom was clean and didn’t smell! It was awesome to feel comfortable while getting my car done.
