I was in need of a good reliable mechanic who specialized in they type of car I have. They were very helpful even after fixing my car. I went back twice after I had gotten my car back unsure of a noise my car had been giving me. They were more than willing to help me diagnose the problem, patient, and answered any questions I may have had. I give them a budget of what Id like to spend and they follow that budget. They do good work, and know their stuff. Ive found my reliable, good, mechanic

Usually very helpful. While the mechanic helped with my hoses and the part. He did not have time to do what he said was a 45 min job . at least for 3 weeks.Well rent a car and wait mine never was able to be fully repaired

Best place to take your VW , had a few of my vws in there always fixed them in a inexpensive and timely manner. There is a reason these guys are booked out several weeks and its not because they work slow.

I had this awful oil light beeping and flashing in my dash. Made an appt with them to have a diagnostic done and he had it fixed in like 2 hours and even did my inspection. I thought it would be expensive, but to my relief it was only $146.50. That was a oil switch, new brake line and our inspection. I will definitely go back.

Had a fantastic experience here. I bought a car from Weavers of East Pete which had some issues, you can read my two-star review about them. They sent me to a place called AutoFix and insisted the problems were fixed, which they were not. So I went into the dealership said okay, how about I pick a garage? I heard great things about Paul Witmer garage and decided to take it here. They fixed a headlight and a brake light which were out. On top of that, they put a temperature sensor in the car which was completely missing and that fixed the low tyre pressure error I was getting. Amazing work. Thanks, guys.

They once took my windshield out without my permission to check a leak, dropped and cracked the windshield, and installed a new one all without my knowledge or consent. They then billed me for a new windshield and labor when i showed up to pickup the car. Paul didnt see anything wrong with that when i asked to speak to a mechanic, and walked right back into the garage.They know a lot and can usually get the job done for a reasonable rate, but more than once they have done things that are worth never taking my vehicles there again. These type of instances have also happened to my friends and family over time.

This place is a rarity. In today’s world, it’s difficult to find an honest business that is also fair, reasonable and very knowledgeable! I was referred to Paul E. Witmer’s by another Volkswagen owner. I am so glad to have found them!I had bought a 2000 VW Beetle that I took a chance on. I quickly found out that this low mileage Bug had a problem that required a major decision. The main bearings were in bad shape. What I thought was just valve lash turned out to be a bottom end noise. After checking the oil pan, I found a lot of metal bearing fragments. I wasn’t sure what route I should take...used engine swap, engine rebuild, or just cut my loses and sell the car.Jonathon, the mechanic that worked on my car, helped tremendously to figure out the solution. He didn’t push for the more expensive route of swapping out with a questionable used motor. Rather, he found a very good condition crankcase. He replaced the bearings in that one and swapped out the whole lower end unit. Even with all the new gaskets, used crank and crankcase, bearings, fluids and labor, I was hundreds less that the used engine option.Now I have a dependable Beetle that I can trust my daughter to use as a daily driver.

Excellent service! Their schedule is often booked out pretty far, but it is certainly worth the wait! They know VW & Audi like nobody else does, and they are very fast with their work. If a problem dies arise afterwards, they try their hardest to remedy it for you. Every time I take a car there, I come away even more impressed.

Ive been taking my Volkswagens here for 10 years. Great service and great prices. The folks at this shop seem to care a lot about the job that they do.

My first time at this shop I had a good experience. Got all the work done to my Jetta that needed it. In the past year Ive taken it to Witmers for all the service. My most recent time I needed a few things done, I told them what was most important to get done, and if they finished I would like a few others done. They never called me to let me know how much it would cost, they just through parts on without my consent. I had to call them 2 other times in that same day to find out what was going on with my car. They didnt communicate anything to me, and when I get there I get stuck with an 800$ bill that I was unaware of. Then they try to put the blame on me when I told them what needed to be done. Also, every time my car leaves the shop something new starts going wrong with it. Things Ive NEVER had problems with before. I no longer feel safe taking my VW to this shop. Theyre ignorant and that is not how business is done. I spent good money there, and will NEVER be taken my car to them.

Paul is an ignorant snake! I had to go in 2 weeks later to find out that my car had been just sitting outside and then he told me he couldnt find the problem after trying to diagnose my passat. So I had a tow company go to Witmer that following Monday and they told me they couldnt release the car until I paid 485 dollars... nothing was done to it and my problem still occurs. They wouldnt even work with me a little bit. Never comming here again and Ill never buy another VW in my life. Great customer service Witmer! Your a liar and a cheat!

I had my car there twice I knew something was wrong. So after I was charged twice the car started shaking on the highway an the brakes didnt work an all they said was bring it in again an Im stuck on the highway. No more now I take it to The Garage in Denver.
