Extremely terrible customer service, have gone numerous times and was an awesome client but It blows my mind how rude the owner is to the clientele. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want an ear full.

The worst hair cut I’ve ever gotten was at this barber shop. Do not go here they will butcher your hair horribly.

This barber shop provides great haircuts all for 12 dollars, only two downsides are the wait, theres never a terribly long wait, ive never waited more than 15 minutes. The other issue they do not accept credit cards, only cash or checks. Other than those two factors this is a terrific place to get your next haircut. Photo included is from the waiting room. Did a little post COVID trip with my wife to get out for a bit. While waiting for sushi next door my wife recommended I get a haircut. There was no wait and I got an incredible fast cut for TWELVE BUCKS! Unheard of back home. They were done before my sushi was ready

Ive lived in Ellsworth off and on over the past ten years bouncing between Alaska and here. and Ive gone to these folks when Im off contract with some very unruly mops on my head. These folks know their way around both scissors and clippers. Have had a few different stylists and styles done to my hair and they all seem to come with the girlfriend stamp of approval. Just remember to bring cash or check so they can keep the price to a low 12 bucks! Thanks high st barber!

Probably the worst haircut experience Ive ever had. Solid 45 minute wait, although that was understandable as there was only one woman there. Haircut was only $12, so I wasnt expecting much, but I expected better than what I got. During the haircut, my haircutter was very unpleasant and decided to share her political views with me, that wearing masks were for sheep theyre about control COVID is a hoax etc etc etc.🙄 On top of that, there was a Trump 2020 dollar bill hanging on the wall. But I could have accepted that if Id gotten an acceptable haircut. Instead, I got an uneven, choppy, bizarre looking disaster. I tried to ask for a change in the most polite way possible to no avail. Ended up having to get it fixed after. Terrible experience, would not reccomend.

My wife got a hair cut and was not impressed... Neither was I.P. S. My wife has a mens haircut. It certainly was your shop and you GLADLY cut her hair. She had to go to another place, the same day to have it fixed, and they couldnt believe the cut she had received. She asked for it to be fixed while she was in your shop, twice, and it only continued to get worse. Not only was the cut terrible, but now you sound pretty unprofessional and out dated as well... Only cut mens hair.... Right! Get with the times. I only put 1 star because I COULDNT put 0.

I’m a seasonal worker and have been to High Street Barber shop twice, on both occasions Richelle cut my hair, she’s excellent!!!!! Best haircuts I’ve received in years!

Friendly and professional

I usually just buzz my own hair at home but I stopped at this barber shop because I was pressed for time. The staff was very friendly. I received an awesome haircut and they even trimmed my beard. I dont think I will be cutting my own hair anymore after seeing the outcome. I will definitely return.
