The property is beautiful ,clean and we enjoyed our ride on the Lincoln train and viewing of the train car and wonderful tribute to an amazing President. Staff was very nice and helpful

Have your wedding here! No really, just do it. The Star Barn is a magical place with staff that makes you feel so welcome and at home. Kaitlin was always there to calm me down throughout the planning through a pandemic process and Jeremy was so uplifting and supportive the day of. Went for the Christmas lights drive and was not let down. I didnt realize the property was so large and was impressed with all the different areas that were decorated.

We attended the Lincoln Train event. It was fun filled throughout beautiful surroundings and historic buildings. Great Dinner. We were excited that the Lincoln reenactor spent some personal time with us, truly a wonderful man. We look forward to returning vfor one of their Christmas events.

So happy to see the Star Barn restored. I loved driving passed it as a PSU Harrisburg student 20+ years ago and currently have paintings of it in my home. I was, however, very disappointed that you cannot visit the property unless there for an event, especially since I am visiting from out of town.

Beautiful location!

Was a very nice place. Went for fireworks. Things did close up a bit early and food was about gone before fireworks but the venue is beautiful and well crafted buildings with tons to see.

Beautiful facility, well maintained, incredibly courteous staff. The Christmas light drive through is also very cool! Definitely one of the largest drive through displays in the area.

Absolutely beautiful place, but, the signage to get into a Function was terrible. We ended up parking in a back lot (past animals). When we left...it was dark to try to walk back there. We spoke to someone about it at the Function and we were told there should have been someone out there directing traffic. There wasnt. And, the signs that were up blocked all the roads to go in where we should have went. Otherwise, 5 stars!

Venue is amazing! I am so impressed! Every building and structure, from main barn to gazebo to solarium is simply beautiful! Chapel is so serene and peaceful. And the bathrooms are work of art! A must-see it after dark.And do come during Christmas season to check the religous light display - I know we will!

This venue is gorgeous and their attention to detail is incredible. While we were not there for a wedding, it is obviously a place that would be an elegant, magical backdrop for a marriage. It is obvious that a tremendous amount of work goes into the property on a regular basis.

We went to an open house and this place was amazing! Beautiful landscape and property. The barns are stunning and it was a great place to soak in the amazing PA atmosphere.

A great place for a wedding!

If you want a Fairytale setting, away from the city landscape, this is it. Our daughter wanted a mix of a Country Barn with Modern amenitites and she got it. The staff was phenomenal.

The private venue was enjoyable here!! Trails, and nice views are around. The inside was set up nicely as well.

Beautiful place to visit! We decided to get tickets for the 4th of July event...on the 4th of July. What a great time, excellent Fireworks, friendly staff, and the proceeds went to a great cause. Well be back.

One of the most beautiful venues Ive ever seen!

Had our wedding here in May 2019. So many options for ceremony location and its great to have the reception on site afterwards to make it easier on yourself for planning. Flow from the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception was great. Staff were very easy to work with and picked up on my organizational style. Very good with giving updated contracts throughout the whole process and checked with me on big decisions and small details.

When to see Lincolns funeral car it was a great breezy sunny day a lot of reenactors there it was a blast.

I attended a special day viewing the Star Barn, a preview of the Christmas Center collection, a dinner and fireworks. The location is beautiful and the fireworks were fantastic.

We were trying to call and book a trailride for my twin girls that were turning 18 on August 30th. I went on line and emailed about setting up the ride go a response right away about the rule and cost which was great and that you had to call to set up the ride we could not do it online. Not a problem. I had to leave a message of a day I was interested in. That date was not available. So between messages back and forth because no one answers the phone. They had Sat 30th at 10 or 11:30. Great I got everything worked out to get my one daughter an hour away for the ride what a great surprise . I had to call and leave a message a day after she told me time. The next day they called that spot was taken. How is someone supposed to give your credit card to hold the spot if no one answers the phone? Now day before the ride we are picking up my daughter from an hour away and nothing to do. It really sucks. Suggest using online booking or someone should answer the phone.

This is an amazing venue and the fact that the profits go to help children is a selling point to me !!!

The star barn is so beautiful. The grounds are very beautiful. The people there are very friendly and nice. The Christmas lights they set up was very beautiful. The staff at Stone Gables Estate went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect! Tianna was such a pleasure to work with throughout our planning process, and Jeremy made our day go off without a hitch! The property is gorgeous in every nook and cranny, but the people behind it is what makes it so special! My husband and I are forever grateful for our most perfect day we shared with all of our family and friends during this hard time of the pandemic. Again the staff did everything necessary to take proper safety measures for our guests, following all guidelines and allowing us to use the venue. We want to thank the entire staff again for doing such an amazing job, we will visit every chance we get! If you are considering this venue for any reason, we could not recommend it enough!!

We went through the Christmas Light drive through and enjoyed all the lights! Some of the signs have a lot of information which is difficult to read when the cars need to keep moving. If you are interested in taking photos, I would encourage a passenger do this and be aware that photography at night, in a car, often through a windshield with a flash can be difficult at best.

Amazing grounds. Just spectacular. I want to organize an event just to be able to go back there. If there was something above first class, this would be in that category. There is nothing equal to it in the region Ive seen to date.

They should let you know before your over 1/4 of the way thru, that theyre charging you $20. Everything else was a nice display, but the guy close to the barn telling us to keep moving. Then why put up signs to read?!!

The most beautiful, breathtaking, and romantic place to get married EVER! From the bridal suite to the upstairs barn to the grounds outside to the liberty house where we spent our wedding night, everything was spectacular! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed on our wedding day and Jeremy was fantastic through the whole process. He was the constant from our first tour to the end of the wedding day. I cant thank the whole team enough for making my day the most perfect wedding day ever.

Wonderful venue! In a covid world, it was great to have a venue outside. Lots of space and so many beautiful scenic spots for pictures.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful Christmas brunch at the beautiful Star Barn Village. This place is truly spectacular and unlike anything we have experienced before! The historical train ride on-site made the whole experience that more awesome! I highly recommend visiting the Star Barn Village at least once in your lifetime! 😊

Beautiful facilities. Pleasant staff.Poor grounds lighting and walkways for night event, definitely a safety issue. Could use some form of location enterance sign in addition to on site directional signs. Looks like once everything is completed it will a beautiful location. Definitely great for a daytime event. Beautiful place!! Everything was wonderful except the food was cold and the trays were practically empty by the time they called our table. Despite being cold...the food was very good. Just a suggestion - serve coffee and tea while tables are waiting to be called. Thank you for a nice evening.

A must see! The owner David Able along with his wife, and in honor of his beloved daughter Brittany has put their heart and soul into this estate. Walk onto the property and go back in time 1700s to early 1900s. The idea is to introduce the world to the nostalgia that Lancaster County has to offer. This venue is open for business Corporate events, Weddings, and special dates. You dont have to just talk about what once was.....you can come see it, live in it temporarily, eat in it, dance in it, start your future life in it, and even begin your family in it😉! Keep up with the exciting news updates of things to come that will be open to the Public. I dont have permission to give it all away shhhhh! Thank you family for bringing Central Pennsylvanias history back to life!😊❤

An absolutely amazingly beautiful place. Had a work dinner there. Places extremely well kept and the staff is just amazing. The train ride is really cool as well. If you got the money and youre looking for a place for a wedding, corporate event, meeting, this is the place.

We just were at a wedding at this venue and it is the best venue that i have been to. It is rare that i am blown away but they did it. The service was awesome and the place was amazing. Ultra clean and seamless.

While lights at night are definitely beautiful, I went with my family expecting to see color and the awe of Christmas. Not what we got. I guess I must have missed that on their website. Will NOT be returning during the Christmas season again, but I do want to return to check out their train with my son.

I was invited here by a few colleagues for a dinner recently. And I have got to say that the Star Barn is an absolutely gorgeous establishment!!The barn was actually moved from its original location to its current location many years ago. The details in the design and construction were great. Especially when the sun went down and the sun setting. Such an amazing opportunity for pictures.I personally did not get the chance to speak with anyone about pricing but Im sure they are on the higher end. Lots of weddings are held here. Amazing amount of land beautifully manicured. I could see myself getting married here without question.The event we went to was catered by C&J catering. The food by them was fair. Nothing at all outrageous to speak of. I wouldnt recommend C&J catering just off of my first impression. But thats your choice.But the Star Barn itself is a truly magnificent place for any party. Definitely check it out.

I attended the dinner and movie about the moving and preservation of the iconic star barn. This place is unbelievable. The attention to detail is superb. Food excellent. Many buildings to see along with an incredible drive through of Christmas lights. The owner truly had a vision annd plan. It was worth rvery dollar.

Attended a wedding here in June. Absolutely beautiful setting at this newly renovated historic Star Barn and outbuildings!! Set way back in a beautifully manicured scenic private drive past horses grazing in green pasturelands, a huge pond with fountain, a vineyard and a wonderful bucolic setting. These historic buildings have been brought back to their magnificent original beauty. The owner and staff have thought of everything to make a magical event venue!!!!
