I signed my 8yr old up for a trail ride.This was my daughters first time riding a horse. Summer and Emily did an excellent job making her comfortable. She came back and wanted to go again and everyday since.

Estate is beautiful. Saddles and horses were well cared for. When we arrived the wranglers were disinterested in making us feel welcome. Horseback ride was supposed to be 1 hour...it was 45 minutes at an unnaturally slow walk. No stopping for pictures. Couldnt hear anything the guide said about historical significance. There was another event so we didnt get even close to Star Barn. Group pictures were taken in the uninteresting corral instead of in front of Covered bridge. We were not allowed to drive through the estate. Worst trail ride Ive ever been on.

It was great! Had a wonderful time on my birthday today.

Friendly guides, well-mannered horses. Saddles are western so generally more comfortable than an English saddle. Most of the hour ride is through the woods, which is very nice on a hot day. We took a friend for her birthday and she loved it. The only reason I didnt rate a 5 was because the website suggested a historic component where the guide would share the history of the estate and area, but this didnt happen on our tour. I would recommend the ride to others.

Had a great time riding the Santa Train this morning. The train ride itself isnt very long as there is currently only .5 miles of track, but the conductor states there are plans to add 2.5 miles of track in the near future, so Im already looking forward to next years ride.

My son took me for a trail ride on the horses, we had extremely knowledgeable and well-trained guides and the horses were absolutely perfect and extremely well-behaved. If youve never rode a horse or are a beginner this is definitely a great place to go for a relaxing peaceful and gorgeous trail ride! I cant wait to go back ❤️

We visited on 4/29/21.... AMAZING experience!! Summer(our guide) was extremely knowledgeable and patient, there was a bit of rain/drizzle but that did not stop us, the tour was amazing. The training session was thorough, I felt like a pro afterwards. The horses are so well kept, healthy and clean. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great experience and I will definitely be back.Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Everything about the Ironstone Ranch has been amazing. My husband (still so weird to say!) and I could not have picked a more perfect place for us to celebrate our wedding. The staff was truly wonderful -- you could just see the passion of what they do in the way they talk; they are extremely proud and that is for great reason. It was wonderful working with Jeremy, Mark and emailing with Alexis with faster than fast responses! They wanted our day to go as perfectly and as beautifully as if it were their own, and for that (and MANY other reasons!), we cannot thank you ALL enough! They were super flexible -- dreaded rain was in our forecast all day, but they provide us with quite a few different options and let us decide what we were most comfortable with -- even willing to sacrifice getting soaked if we wanted to still have everything outside in torrential downpours -- which thankfully did not happen! We would for sure recommend renting the farmhouse for the weekend if you are having a Saturday event and that option is available -- it made the big day that much less stressful, we were also able to assist the coordinator in setting up our reception area on Friday when we arrived, which was pretty cool to be a part of. The Ranch is probably one of the most beautiful places we have ever been -- It is also so very welcoming and calming, and you just cant help but have a smile on your face the entire time youre there! The animals were of course a huge hit and for sure made our day very special and unique! It is wonderful to know that by having our event there, the Ranch will be donating to a great cause, Brittanys Hope. It really is a win-win-win! We were there for the Lincoln train re enactment. Beautiful property with amazing restoration of the star barn. Workers were kind. Lincolns train restoration was amazing. Definitely worth it.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! The staff here is absolutely horrible! My family and friends were harassed and blamed for things that they didn’t even do or had any idea of what was going on. It was so sad to have a beautiful day ruined by having my loved ones profiled for something we had no idea about just by the way we looked. They are totally conservative and judge and assume people just by appearance. Absolutely disgusting and horrible! I will never go to this terrible place again and have luckily helped them lose business because of this!

Completely enjoyed our ride. The horses are well taken care of, beautiful farms, nice trails and overall amazing experience. The day we went 11/25/2020 the workers were putting up Christmas decorations. The lead horse was a little spooked but the trail leader did a great job helping the horse pass the decorations.

Rode horses here with four other girlfriends a couple years ago and had an amazing time. Horses are extremely well taken care of... Would definitely return. ✨✨🌈

The staff are all friendly and professionals. However this was not horseback riding. This was horseback walking. No running allowed thus was the most boring thing I have ever done.

Very beautiful spacious place. We were there for an Autism weekend which they hosted. Everyone who worked there was over accommodating and super friendly. My son loved it.

Very well maintained property, perfect for the wedding we attended. The ceremony in the orchard was a true dream. We all loved the free range grazing donkeys, and the reception in the barn was so romantic and a fun atmosphere to party in after dinner!

I would give no stars if I could. I had scheduled a ride 2 months ago in August for my husbands birthday, who has never riden a horse and shed tears when I told him I had scheduled a horseback ride for us in October. Our ride was scheduled for today however; we missed it because no reminder call or email was made. They kept our deposit of $60 and were asking for another deposit to reschedule. The girl I spoke to named Stacey, sounds like shes a 15 yr old valley girl without a clue, she was extremely unprofessional and rude stating it was my fault I didnt call to reschedule.......how can I reschedule something I completely forgot about. Yes, I shouldve kept track and put a reminder in my phone or something of the sort, but I assumed, like every other reservation you make, that I wouldve gotten a reminder call/email. If you have a wait list and are this strict with the ride times, then you should give a reminder call, especially if the appt was made 2 months ago. And for a place that praises God so much, this is a terrible way to treat a person who doesnt have the financial stability to just throw away $60, especially considering the economy. This was such a disappointment, my husband is heartbroken about it and I am absolutely livid. So completely unprofessional

The venue was ok but the staff was incredibly rude. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. If I’m ever invited to a wedding there again I won’t go. I will warn anyone I know interested in this place to stay away.

Words can’t describe how incredible this venue was for our wedding. The staff were the friendliest group of people we have ever met! Jeremy and Alexis were incredible to work with from start to end! They literally went out of their way for every small detail - even giving the maid of honor a tissue during her speech. The venue itself is exceptionally beautiful. The main barn was elegant and classy and warm. The lighting and environment was perfect inside. Our guests felt so comfortable at the reception. We will be coming back to Ironstone for years to come. It is a magical place that is surrounded by beauty. If you are looking for an exceptional venue that is also hidden from busy streets and other buildings - Ironstone is the place to have your wedding. The property makes it feel like it’s just you and your guests. Again, can’t restate how friendly the entire staff was at Ironstone!

Reservations were easy, customer service fabulous. The trail ride was wonderful. The guides knowledgeable, experienced and just lovely girls. The care they took of our group was outstanding. The horses has great personality, which told me they were well cared for and happy in their life.

We took a trail ride and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The guide, Emily, was kind and helpful. We rode 2 beautiful horses, Moose a dappled grey, and Shorty, a sweet faced gal full of character. (Loved her). While riding we were able to see wild life and historic buildings.

The most amazing venue and cannot say enough good things about the staff! They were so courteous and made sure our day was perfect. Plus, there was something for all guest types to do! Excellent venue and even more amazing employees!

We attended the Valentines Dinner and Dance.The atmosphere was pleasing, food was delicious, the band was entertaining and the other guests at our table were pleasant.Parking was fine and walkways were macadam and brick.All areas were illuminated for proper safety and walking .Plan to attend many more events here!

What an excellent venue for a wedding. The food and drink were perfect and the location was simply beautiful. The motif, very upscale country, and the facilities were comfortable and accommodating.The facilities would also be excellent for corporate gatherings, picnics of social celebrations.All of the employees were just outstanding, and added wonderfully to our attended event. Very competitive and reasonable as compared to other caterers, but the ranch was just amazing. Well done !

Nice place!

Absolutely beautiful venue! They really care about everything being perfect down to the last detail. They treat you like family the moment you step on the ranch and are prompt and professional in their emails. You do have to use their caterer but they are extremely nice and professional also and have a floral/decorating department you can use. We will be getting married their next year and will update.

The perfect wedding venue. The staff couldnt be more helpful or attentive. There is a farmhouse on site for the bride and groom, farm animals for guests to interact with, a wonderful outdoor ceremony space, and the barn used for the reception is beautiful. Hands down the best experience we could have asked for.

The venue is cool looking but the staff is absolutely horrendous. I have never seen such poor customer service in my life, it baffles me that this place is still in business.

We had our wedding at the Ranch last month (married in the mini Barn and the reception in the main barn) and it was beyond our expectations. Many say that you should accept that things will go wrong during your wedding, but I really dont know of anything really that went wrong. It felt perfect! The staff at the Ranch are so experienced and know exactly how to move things along smoothly and make the guests feel comfortable. A very special thanks to Jeremy for his warm hospitality and keeping things flowing. So many of my guests really appreciated his help and the conversations they had with him. They appreciated him so much that many people still know his name :) We also thank and appreciate Eli (C&J Catering) who was very flexible and accommodating as we made many last minute changes during the planning process. Thank you to the chef who attended to all of our dietary restriction needs. We are so grateful for the entire Ironstone Ranch and C&J Catering staff. Thank you!

Great ride on a beautiful ranch.

There are so many wonderful things to say about this venue and the catering company! First, I love that they are associated with a non-profit! Second, our wedding went off with literally nothing that went wrong. Jeremy and his ranch team made sure that we knew exactly what was going to happen and what to expect and helped make the day run perfect. Evon and her catering staff made the most amazing food and desserts. Our guests raved about it all! The venue itself was beautiful! It was such a perfect day. Dream come true!

Probably one of the best wedding venues I have ever seen. Loved the atmosphere. Attended a fall/Halloween wedding where they ceremony took place outside in the orchard. Hot cider was served. Wedding party arrived via horse drawn wagon which was simply stunning. The reception was then held in a large converted barn that was beautiful inside. Perfect size for mingling, dancing, eating and drinking. Ended the evening outside around a huge fire pit with smores. Only part I did not like was the 10+ min speech about how the place is a non-profit org and about donating money, hence only 4 stars.EDIT *well, had to update to one start due to finding out about their policy and views on same sex marriage! I understand they are a private company and can do what they want. I just do not agree with it and therefore can not support them.

Astonishing place! My cousin had his wedding here. The Star Barn was nice and cool inside. Bathrooms were clean and smelled like cedar. I really enjoyed being able to get up close to the animals. The outside ceremony was wonderful even though an apple almost fell on someones head. xD

We could not have asked for a better wedding venue. We had so many compliments from our guests and the staff was on point from start to finish!! (Special shout out to Danielle/Alexis/Jeremy) Everything ran so smoothly! The farmhouse was amazing! I think the only other thing I would suggest/advice for future outdoor ceremonies - is when there are two outdoor weddings - we heard music at our ceremony from the other ceremony going on, which was disappointing. Other than that We have no regrets with our choice of venue and would recommend it to future couples! We loved the animals and all the little details! CJ catering was wonderful to work with and their food was amazing!!! Thank you for making our day special

Attended a summer wedding, to locate this place difficult. Parking is in high grass and you to walk on a garvel road to the barns a good distance. Not lit at night. Wedding barn chapel had no air conditioning and was uncomfortable hot and sweaty. Food was not good, buffet style . Highlights were the pig in a tuxedo and the donkeys. I expected higher standard for how people rave of this place. I surely dont see what is so spectacular about getting married in a hot barn and walking on dusty roads.

We knew from the first moment we arrived at Ironstone that this was the place where we wanted to celebrate our marriage. Over the next year and a half we visited Ironstone several times and each time we felt this sense of serenity, peace, and joy. Whats more is that many individuals who visited the ranch with us as well as guests from our wedding shared comments about these same feelings as well independently. There really is something special about Ironstone Ranch.Ironstone Ranch hosts weddings, corporate events, and events for the general public such as horseback rides, an annual 5K, Christmas at the Ranch...and more. We encourage all to attend one of the many great events hosted at the Ranch because not only will you be able to experience the Ranch, but you will be helping a great organization: Brittanys Hope.The employees of Ironstone Ranch noticeably take pride in their work and strive to make visitors feel taken care of during their visit. We could sing praises of Mark, Jamileh, Jeremy, Hayley, Taylor and all of the members of the Ironstone Ranch Crew!We rented the Ranch Friday-Sunday morning for our wedding and we are so glad we did. Friday night we hosted our rehearsal dinner and a welcome party for all our guests and it was a big hit. On Saturday we married at the St. Peters Catholic Church and celebrated the night away at the Ranch. We were able to spend Friday and Saturday evening in the Farmhouse on the property. While it did rain on our wedding day, the Ranch did take care of us and our guests as promised. They also did a fantastic job of handling all of the logistics of our wedding: from pony rides, lawn games and a live band during our cocktail hour, to dinner in a tent, to partying in the Main Barn and a sparkler send off. The Ranch staff went above and beyond and worked well with all of our vendors as well as our guests. It was seemingly seamless. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and weekend. Most importantly to us, our guests commented positively on a wonderful weekend! Thank you, Ironstone Ranch!

The grounds were lovely. That is the one star.That being said, the ceremony we attended was moved into the small barn. The day was 89 and 90% humidity and NO A/C!! No relief whatsoever! No fans other than a ceiling fan! People were melting and stripping down! And one of the cowpokes closed the huge barn door for almost 10 minutes for the bridal party to appear which only made every guest more uncomfortable! For what this venue must have cost, this is inexcusable in 2017! Then there is the parking... up hill from everything and just a big field with a gravel drive to the one side. Every woman loves being all dressed up for a wedding, with dressy shoes on, only to get out of the car and step into ankle high grass and dust! After the ceremony, we had to walk back up to the car to retrieve wedding gifts. And then turn around and walk 150 yds, down hill, in heels, to the big barn.Once there, a cowpoke offered to take them. Gee thanks! More of a sweat worked up! Then there was the choke point around the building to the bar and cocktail area.Didnt need to happen if a cowpoke had been there to move guests around the corner towards the food and restrooms. Again, it is 89 degrees!!! We are standing in a line for nothing other than slowly moving towards a bar, that we werent aware that we were moving towards! No one to tell us! Also, the cowpoke let two adorable donkeys out of the field to freely rub up against the guests and to take nibbles off the cheese table!! Yuck! There is also a terrible threshold trip hazard going into the reception barn.i saw many take an awkward hop and a trip over that! And then the area itself is divided into thirds by the huge barn beams. Not conducive to jumping up to dance or mingle throughout the room. Tables were crammed in. So much so that a server dropped a fork on me while clearing and a small plate on a child at our table. Lights were never dimmed for a more evening ambiance. That was strange. And then to make the evening even more miserable, it rained as the evening was over. You had to walk that 150 yds back up the hill to the parking field, in the dark, in heels, in the pouring rain!! The cowpokes had shown themselves using large golf carts at various points, why were these not available to shuttle people more quickly up the hill? They also had a horse drawn large wagon that they transported the wedding party to the ceremony, why could this not have been used? That would have been very cool, but instead, we finished the night just feeling miserable. We were wet at the ceremony from sweat and wet at the end from pouring rain! Husbands going up for cars didnt work to pick up wives at the drive circle because it was stopped up with helpers packing up the wedding. Again, a huge choke point that should have had some official direction... the grounds are pretty, but when it comes to attending a wedding, guests are not on the grounds so that is not a selling point for me. Put more attention on the venue buildings themselves and PUT In AIR CONDITIONERS in the small barn!!
