I tried calling them 5 times for an ETA on a service tow. I got through on the second call. I assume that they allegedly heard my voice and hung up! Then the office stopped taking calls at 6Pm. We started calling at 430pm. Progressive fixed it.

I could not ask for a better company to care for and to tow my vehicles. I had a tire blow out on the Western Kentucky Parkway and within 25 minutes of calling into their dispatch a driver was there ready to load my Jeep on the roll back. He took great care in making sure I was okay and that my Jeep stayed in pristine condition. When ever I get my oil changed they are always quick and even take care enough to put floor covers done and towels on my seats to ensure they don’t get dirty. The pricing is fair and the work is of excellent quality. I highly recommend Doug’s Towing and all of their drivers!!

The had what we needed to get a fully loaded dump truck out of the ditch and from blocking traffic.Super nice guys!

They should have not sent a person out on that kind of job that didnt know what to do. Cause it took up more time to tell him every little thing to do.and in doing that it took him at least 1 1/2 hours more time than it should have. The trainer was very good in showing him what and how to do but it didnt help me at all in the cost. I dont think l needed to pay for his training time. Sorry , thats the way l see it !

Dougs Towing and Recovery saved us today! My family and I were driving from Ohio back to Tennessee this morning and we had a blow out coincidentally right before Dougs exit. We were so thankful that the shop was right off the exit. The young man who helped was was beyond amazing! He dropped everything he was doing to help our family get back on the road. The gentleman that got my car out of the mud was great and very efficient. However, the phone call to their office was not as great. The lady was not very polite, often speaking to other people while on the phone. But she was quick in getting a truck to my house and for that I am very apprefiative!

Called for estimate. asked if they could come tow my sons truck. showed up in about 20 minutes. guy was super nice and answered our questions. charge was very reasonable. was glad they are a 24 hour service!

Driver knew just how to recover my 24 ton spreader and it was jacked up!

Not impressed. To change and replace tire on trailer only had new one. In short, $156.00 to replace tire on $300.00 trailer. I was injured at home and happened to wife and son. No comment.

I ended up not using them. The quoted price for a jump was $85 to $150. I thought that was outrageous.

Very high priced plus long waits

The ELOG in my work truck stopped working so brought it to Doug’s towing. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable with the system. He found some poorly done connections, replaced them and had us back on the road same day. They will be my first call for any future service truck issues.

If I could give no stars I would. Dont get your vehicle towed there and get it worked on. They tell you one price to get it towed in and it ends up being $40-50 more. Then if they hook up scanner to your vehicle they charge $85 to hook it up and then $85 to read it. They dont tell you that when they are doing it. They definitely take advantage of people and definitely dont care about customers.

Called Dougs Towing last night and got fast and great service. Ill will recommend and use them again in the future.

Worst service imaginable. We called to get rates on having a truck towed home early in the morning. Was only asked details about how far to have it moved. Was told it could not be moved without keys. Told them we would let them know something that afternoon. Get off work later that day and find out they towed the truck back to their shop without our consent. Then staff was rude and hateful with us. Even threatened to call the cops on my boyfriend. Moved the truck without consent or keys causing damage to our truck. Then when we asked about getting it moved home was gonna charge us another $250. Worst service imaginable .

I called several towing companies today, and Dougs was the only one that would give me a price quote! The wait was barely over an hour, the guys were great and very efficient, and the best part was, my total was the exact amount I was quoted on the phone!!! I hope I dont have a future need for a tow, but if I do, Im definitely calling these guys again!!!

Not only did my family lose our only mode of transportation, we were hit with an unusual storage bill. Long story short, dont break down in Kentucky, and if you do, expect to lose your ride to unbearable and unpayable fees. Ill be going around the entire state from now on.

Workers have horrible manners & tend to run people off the road with their service trucks & wreckers. Wouldnt recommend their services EVER!!

After a serious motorcycle accident Doug’s was so helpful and kind to me. They worked with me when my insurance refused to and that meant the world to me when I was already going through a very hard time. I have nothing but fantastic things to say about them and will use them again if the need every arises.

Called on Wednesday with power steering problem. Was told bring it on in and we will look at it. As of Friday evening they hadnt even looked at it. Saturday at 11am I went to check on progress, had it on lift and was told it was a line and probably couldnt get it fixed THAT day. So i drove it away. What I dont understand is when you say yeah bring it in and we will look at it, why not be honest and say we are so busy it might be 3 days before we can even look at it... there are so many more shops in town, that if told the truth, I could have gone elsewhere from the start.

We were traveling (at night) through Kentucky last weekend and broke down near Elizabethtown. I had my wife and infant with me. Doug quickly picked us up and got us to a hotel. Our car was repaired by the next day and we were on our way. Excellent service and quality staff.

Towed off side of road, 2am 125, paid, sat in vehicle till 8 am to open. 6 wheel studs on 1 rear tire .220.00. 1 used rim/ and tire I didnt need $165.00. tow truck driver excellent, laborer, nice enough, owner horrible. Would never suggest or return. Over 500.00 to walk away in tears. Not over the $, not over the situation itself, but the way we where treated by the owner.

They delivered on their assurances. Friendly group of people. Did a repair for me.

I went on a road trip from Florida to Michigan and had some truck issues on the way home that put me in a hotel in the middle of the night. I called at least five different tow companies and I am so glad I went with Dougs Towing and Recovery. Cannot put into words how grateful I am. She was so educated about everything that was going on with my vehicle before they even saw it. They jumped me to the front of the line knowing I was from out of state and trying to get home. towed my vehicle in the middle of the night to their repair shop had it diagnosed AND fixed by 9:45AM. Not only that but they had someone come pick us up from the hotel at no charge to bring me to my vehicle. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Well my details are really to rude to say other than theyre greedy! Karma. Where Im from youre to be polite and respectful to your customers cause without them you have no business. I grew up in a family business and my grandparents and my father would turn over in their Graves if I treated a customer like I was talked to and treated.

Kevin was excellent, he got our trailer loaded and moved to Skaggs for us. It was a challenge because we were missing a wheel. Price was reasonable, our quotematched what we were charged.

Their price is a little steep, but service was fast...
