I was a walk in for an oil change. It was completed faster than the estimated wait time. They did a great job and even reset my oil change notification. Other places dont even bother to do this. They checked other important things like tires ect. and didnt find anything unnecessary that needed fixing just to make extra money off of me. It is the extra details that are appreciated when it comes to customer service and they are a great place to do business.

My most recent visit was my second visit at this establishment. Very kind, welcoming employees. Super easy check in process, as well as scheduling on the website. They were very thorough, identified a problem I was having with my A/C (I was there for an oil change😂) and fixed it in a very short period of time, and a very reasonable price. I will be a returning customer for as long as I continue to be treated the way they are treating me now. My hope is that the level they are operating at, doe not slip.

Love Ken Towerys on North Dixie Hwy in Elizabethtown. Every time I have gone in with an issue they fix it without trying to up-sell me on something which is SO Nice!! So many garages try to get you to do additional things even if its not totally necessary. They got me right in and out for a plug in my tire. I think I was there like a total of an hour to 1.5hrs. The front desk guys are always nice and the mechanics do a great job.

I was told it would take about an hour to have two tires changed, I was there for an hour and twenty minutes so time was good. My only complaint would be their pricing. If you want economy aka cheapest tires there are then this was the cheapest place I could find for my car tires. But what wasnt cheap was the next best tires which went from $191 to $400 for two new tires. Double the price. I found comparable better tires for much cheaper elsewhere. So if you want the cheapest this is the place. If you want quality higher end tires Id look elsewhere.

I called the day before to ask about service (tires) on my truck… was told they could do it and to come in first thing in the morning. I was even given a price, a name of who to ask for, and an estimate on the time to complete. When I showed up the next day, I was turned away by an extremely rude employee saying they were booked, and that the person who told me all that info “had only been there 2 weeks.” Thankfully, another shop took care of me and got me on the road safely.

Worse place to buy tires. There tire melted off my car. I ordered a cooper tire and got a tire that melted off my car. Dont shop here. OTHER STORES ARE BETTER THAN HERE

Dont use the web to schedule appointments; just because it says you have an apt doesnt mean you actually have one. After wasting gas to get there they will rudely tell you to get lost.

Took my Jeep in for a lift and new tires, did a great job and got everything ordered and installed within a week. No problems whatsoever and my Jeep looks and drives awesome! Highly recommend!

Made an online oil change request for 6pm. Received appointment confirmation email. Showed up for the appointment and was told we had you down for 4pm. Showed them the appointment confirmation they said there was nothing they could do. Moral of the story dont book your appointment online. The guy was nice and apologetic.

Called and scheduled an appointment on Saturday. Then spoke with the store Manager about Aligning my vehicle. Therefore I asked if I could drop off later that day, so the manager said yes that is okay. About 30 mins into getting my vehicle there I go inside and then the store manager says we can not take your business. Such a wrong way of handling a business.

Got a couple tires put on my beater truck. Was met with a list of things the old guy needed. I explained that I’ll add it to the list because he is in need of some TLC. I felt like they leaned on me a bit about these things. $500 worth of work he could get to “within the next day or so”. I combed over the “really worn” bearings they told me about. They’re not in any serious jeopardy. All this and they couldn’t be bothered to put the valve caps back on. 🤦🏻Should’ve went to Ride Wright, they’re always trustworthy. I was only in town for the day though and last minute so no time for an appointment. Anyway, it’s alright.

Went in Tuesday morning with hopes that they could tell me if my battery was bad due to my vehicle kept dying and had to be jumped for like two days. Even though they were slammed and my appt was not untill Thursday, David Colgate got one of him guys to hurry up and check the battery to give me a few ideas on why it could be. I really appreciated the help that day. Took it back today. Rick and his guys got me all taken care of.

This place practically robbed me. I went there 5 times or more last year and still have problems that they claimed to have fixed. I spent thousands of dollars there, I still to this day am having issues with my car, but Im now broke and unable to continue trying to fix it. I paid for the same things multiple times that I had hoped they would not charge for since they claimed it would be fixed. The parts, fluids, and labor were beyond overpriced. After giving this place so many chances, I am incredibly disappointed.

Took my car here for poor fuel economy, they recommended a tune up & fuel-system cleaning, which I had done @ a cost of 565.00. After no improvement in cars performance, had it looked at by another mechanic who informed me the spark plugs used were the cheapest plugs you could buy & the manifold gasket was re-used rather than replaced as is standard & was sucking air as a result. So I’m basically having the job done over, this time by a reputable mechanic.

I was told that it would take up to five hours or maybe wouldn’t even get to work on it, yet there’s no cars where getting worked on. It was just a simple fix of a nail in the tire.

What I thought was just a flat ended up being a much bigger issue and I had to have it towed to the dealership, but even though I ended up not spending any money at Ken Towery’s, David and the rest of the staff went out of their way to be helpful and make sure I was taken care of. That’s the kind of customer care that will bring me back. Highly recommend.

Just had my oil changed and tires rotated today. When I got home two of my four hubcaps had come off during my drive home. This was due to Ken Towerys negligence since theyve never come off before, yet Ken Towery told me basically to bad, we wont replace them because they werent the original hubcaps. Again, theyve never came off before. Do yourself a favor and find a RELIABLE source to have your car serviced, not one thats going to negligently service your car then tell you to bad!!. Piss poor service. My $29.99 oil change and tire rotation will now cost me about $70. Thanks Ken Towery. They just lost my business and anyone elses I can pursuade to not go there with my very negative experience today.

Customer service was exceptional. Toilet paper was great. The British manager SIDERUS? I believe is his name. He really cared about our car troubles. He went above and beyond to get us back on the road. We were passing through out of town and got recommended to this place. Very kind and friendly service. Mechanic was very kind and informative. Got my tires here. On a Sunday!

I visited this location to get new tires installed and idk how they did it but they cracked the rim and the way I know they cracked my rim is my tire held air fine before I took my car in there and 20 min after leaving my tire would not hold air at all. Ive already went through calling their customer service line and making a claim and they cant pull their head out and realize that there is no way the rim was like that before I took it in and the store is claiming it was when the english fellow in there agreed to my face that it wasnt. Im going to be spreading this through the people I meet and from other stories Ive seen and heard this isnt the first time this has happened. I wondered why this place wasnt busy at all when I got there and now I truly see why.

I got my oil changed, they aired and rotated my tires, changed my air filter and topped off my fluids all for $40.00! I was amazed. 😁 I will say the waiting room is not kid friendly though so either have something for them to play with or make sure you go alone. My son was not entertained so we ended up having someone come get us. It didnt take very long though. Maybe an hour?

I was really disappointed with this experience. we always go to Ken Towery to have our tires replaced, and this time yes we got good tires. But they literally let me drive off the premises, with loose valve stems in my tires, knowing they could go flat at any time. Did not bother to let me know that they could go flat at any time, all because on top of the tires we wouldnt buy tire sensors from them. I think its absolutely ridiculous, that they put my life literally in danger by letting me drive off and not letting me know what could happen to the tires. You definitely need some new guys up front!!!

I have been a customer of this store for the last four years and have had excellent service. But unfortunately its under new management and David not only knows nothing about vehicles but he also doesnt have people skills either. I am not the type of person that just takes my vehicle to whoever is available. I am a very loyal person but unfortunately due to the new management I will no longer be taking my vehicle back to Ken Towerys. I have made friends there Mike and Rick but Im sure they will understand.

Ill give them a 2 out of 5 because Im not aware of any purposeful act, but I was quoted nearly $7,000 to replace my transmission ($500 of which was immediately dropped off when I said I would rather just buy a new vehicle). I took it to another location who fixed the transmission sensors for about $800. So, yes, Ken Towery would would have fixed the problem for an exorbitant price, but I cant say Im happy to spend more money than necessary to fix a problem.

Nice shop, nice front end alignment machine, but no one there that knows how to do front end alignments, completely new front end, took my truck back 3 times and still no luck, a year later new tires and replaced pads and rotors took it in for an alignment and same thing brought it back and still no luck. They got it close but it still pulls. Then for whatever reason i brought my car there and same thing no luck again. Nice shop and nice people.

Disappointed with my recent purchase. My husband always handled tires for our cars. He passed away. He told me to use this place. Well, come here if you are en expert on tires and know what all to ask when you purchase. I called and made an appt for a set. I didn’t know to ask for an alignment or road hazard nor was it offered. I left the place got a flat. I called and realized I never saw road hazard. My fault. But a nice review of “hey you may want this service was never offered”. They did offer me to purchase the road hazard - extra cost and replaced the tire. As I was discussing I asked if anything else was missed. He said “”yes, you didn’t ask for an alignment when you purchased the tires”. I shook my head and said , “Don’t you think if I bought new tires that I would need an alignment”. My rating is based on the experience of what feels like intentional denial of offering services to make money. Very disappointed. If I didn’t think they wouldn’t enforce the road hazard with tire rotation, I would go pay a local place to do the rotation even though it is free. I won’t be making anymore purchases after this one. My lesson learned on tire buying 101. 11/11/19 update - it gets better. I went today to get my replacement tire. Gentleman told me Sunday he would order it and bring my car in later the next day. I took the car in and no tire has arrived so no service day. 90% sure, it will be here tomorrow, but they will call me this time.

Had an alignment performed three days prior by a different company. I came to this location to have it checked as the steering wheel was a little off. I was informed of a little play in the lower ball joint and quoted $600 + for the ball joints. I requested the alignment check and refused the ball joint service. I was advised the alignment check could not be performed. I wanted one simple task to be completed, not an upsell and an excuse.

I took my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan to Ken Towery in Elizabethtown Ky to replace a power steering pump. After getting our van back and $500 later, we noticed grease all over my vehicle inside and out. Furthermore, the manager David was a smart aleck after refusing the upsells he was trying to offer. They also left a clamp off of the hose going to the power steering pump they replaced. When I tried to make a complaint to corporate, the only thing they told me was to go spend $100 on a cleaning bill and they would reimburse me. We also were told by the manager we were not allowed to speak to the mechanic to ensure there were no other issues with my vehicle. There was no inspection sheet to state any issues completed.

A big thanks to Branden and the crew at Ken Towery. I had taken my vehicle to one of the Big auto dealer service departments to have a safety recall item taken care of. While it was there, they did an inspection on it and quoted me $3600+ worth of recommend repairs & maintenance. Thats probably about what my car is worth. Ken Towery checked all of the items and told me that most of it did not need to be done.. They repaired one item mentioned for about half the cost, plus got me a great deal on a set of tires, and they found one other item that the other service dept missed, that definitely needed to be taken care of. The prices were reasonable. The service was quick and complete and now my vehicle rides like a new vehicle. And they got me set up on account where I can pay over 6 months with no interest. Im very pleased! Thanks guys!

From my first encounter with this shop replacing a flat tire and then replacing those tires with matching tires, to today having them finally get the parts in to replace an eccentric in the rear of my car these guys have been phenomenal! Are they the fastest shop? No. But theyre diligent. I had them mount tires on brand new wheels and they took the time to do the job right without scratching anything. I cant brag on this shop and its entire crew enough. Is the waiting room always clean? Nope but if the waiting area is what youre looking for in a shop maybe youre priorities are out of order.Patience is a virtue and if you let these guys work on your vehicle and understand that every job isnt going to take 5 minutes and every part ordered isnt going to be right because well.. thats just the automotive world. Youll be highly satisfied bringing your business here.

This is my Go to place to get things done on my truck or car. The last time I brought my car in for what I thought was replacing the brake pads. I am a preventative maintenance type of guy. After they looked at it, he told me I really didnt need it - still had some life left in the pads. He could have easily replaced the pads and I would have never known. But he didnt. For me, that says a lot. Honesty is hard to find in the auto repair business. And they work they do is the best at a fair price. That is why I will always return to this place. Highly recommend.

We were traveling from Alabama to Michigan on 2/3 when our back brakes hung up. Kens was able to get us in first thing the next morning and had everything fixed and us back on the road in just about an hour. I can not say enough about the 3 gentlemen that working that morning, they were personable, professional, and explained everything so even non car people understood it.

They are literally the best shop I have ever experienced. 5 stars for an awesome crew. The only place ill be taking my vehicles to be serviced from now on.

Great place! Honest mechanics and a friendly, down to earth staff. They make you feel like family and always answer your questions honestly and aren’t worried about selling you stuff you don’t really need. They give you all the options and are willing to buy reliable parts for you from other dealers that aren’t as expensive as the OEM parts. These guys saved me hundreds of dollars by working with me to get my car fixed and my family will always go to them for all our mechanic needs in the future.

Everything was Great. I only had 24 HR. Wait on my tire. The Important add that should be suggest is a Warranty on tire. That should always be suggested. Only 20$ extra

Update: Got tire replaced Spoke to Rikki( British Gentleman) they were nice cordial as they were the original time it had the tires replaced. They explained the services in a way I could understand as well as answering the questions I had. I have updated my review as perhaps I just spoke the wrong individual on my trip into the store. If Rikki is in the store I would recommend having him take care of your needsHad 4 tires replaced got road hazard then because Im unlucky ran over a nail sometime between then and today. On my first visit(When the tires were replaced) i spoke to a British gentleman he was very nice let me know what they could do and let me know that if any thing ever happen to those tires I could bring them in have them replaced free of charge as had got lifetime install package.Go up today to have them look at it guy says it will be 90 bucks. let him to just cant afford the extend warranty. so we are left with 30 bucks . Gentleman in blue shirt was what I would consider very rude, had an attitude. I go back home get the paper work go back to the shop show the guy the paper work to which he says the Lifetime Install package was for the one time installation.So why does it say lifetime..

I had an appointment for 10:00 a.m. and waited for an hour and an half after being told it would take 30 minutes to rotate and balance my tires. They told me I could use new tires that would cost $155/tire. Then quoted me a price of $944 for 4 new tires. Not only did I know I could find tires cheaper, apparently the sales person believed I couldnt add. I will not go back.

I went there for an alignment after another tire store failed to properly align my vehicle. The man who worked on my car was named Jr. he was very professional and friendly and told me everything that was done to my my car. The staff was friendly and were able to fit me in the same day I called. I would recommend them.

Ken Towerys in Eliabethtown, KY, has always been my go to place for service on my 2005 Ford Freestyle. I have lost track of how many times they spotted problems (some severe) and quickly corrected them. Their Customer Service (especially Rick) is top notch. I had a pretty good experience here, got a good deal on a set of tires and the staff is friendly and courteous. The bathroom was surprisingly clean and refreshing. It was well maintained and featured comforting art work that made a nice home-esque ambiance. I would have spent more time in it but I didnt discover the hidden gem until late in my visit..

I called and ordered a very expensive tire to replace one that unfortunately had a staple in it. They got me in the next day to place the tire....great! I show up, sit and wait almost 2 hours to get said tire placed and they said they would rotate the tires while it was up. Great (reason for 2 stars instead of 1)! After the tire was placed and rotation done, I was told that the tire sensor light would go off once I drive on it a while because it takes time for it to reset....okay. Upon leaving, I noticed the car was pulling to the left quite a bit. I figured it may just be from rotating the tires. After 2 trips to work (120 miles round trip) the light was still on and the pull was worse. I called and spoke with a guy on the phone who said just swing by and we will check it out for you. I didnt have the time to swing by but I did and after an hour to check it out I am told that my rear alignment and front alignment are off. What? How does that happen when you replace a tire and get a rotation? They wanted to charge me for an alignment. Ummmm...no. I just paid over $250 to replace 1 tire and THEN started having issues. After being talked down to by some guy behind the counter (who was waiting on another customer), I told them we will take our business elsewhere, and I am glad we did. There are cheaper alignments right down the street and our car was great when they finished. The best part....the sensor was still on with no explanation. I will never go back and all recommendations made to this place have stopped.

Only giving one star because zero stars is not an option. Ripped off my son for over $1000. They were asked to fix one problem but their experts said it was another and took it upon themselves to fix the easier issue, unrelated. Vehicle is still having same problem as before and no one there will honor their word that they would fix it. Never ever go there. Take your vehicle to a REAL shop.

I would highly recommend Ken Towery for any vehicle service need you have. All associates are polite, professional, and are willing to go above and beyond to ensure you are happy and understand what is needed. I am able to do a lot of vehicle work myself, but lately have chosen to use service due to time, etc. as a father of 4. Ken Towery Etown is honest, fair, and willing to do what it takes to make sure you are take care of. Ive been twice, and will continue to visit anytime I need service!

I have been disappointed both times that I have been there.2 years ago I had 2 tires put on my car.They said that I also needed front brake drums which I agreed to have done.Well I had to wait 4 hours because unknown to me they had multiple drums being turned and it took that long to free up the machine.So I thought that I would give them another chance.I went on line for 4 truck tires, made an 8:30 appointment,received a confirming email that I was all set to go and when I get there low and behold they dont have the tires in stock that I requested even though the website said that they did.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS OUTFIT!!!

I am extremely impressed towards these managers, especially Michael. Im 60 years old and first time I have seen a store manager pick up the slack an work in the service area when they got covered up. He knows what hes talking about. Not many managers willing to actually work.

I was very pleased with the service at the Elizabethtown Ken Towery location. The attendant listened to my concerns and did the repairs needed and didnt try to over sale me. My car runs great now and I will be returning to Ken Towery for my next round of maintenance issues!

I have no problem with the place, they always have what I need or can get it quick. The only issue I had was when I got my brakes done. It was towards the end of the day and maybe the guy was tired, but he forgot to fill my reservoir after installing new brakes. A few days later, I noticed my coolant reservoir cap was missing, but hey, it could have fallen off somehow...

Great experience...did a great job and got me in, out, and on my way in little time.

You get what you pay for. We were traveling cross country and were having on and off issues starting the car. We read on their website that they did free battery tests, so we drove over there. The lady at the desk was less than friendly. She wasnt interested in any kind of small talk. She needed all of my personal information (not sure why just to get the battery tested). She said that as soon as one of the technicians was finished with a vehicle he was working on, hed help us. We waited about ten minutes and he tested the battery, which tested okay. Inquiring further to see if he knew what else might be the problem, he performed a more in-depth test with his little computer thing and another technician. He said the battery, starter and battery charging ability were all good. So we left. After the very next gas stop, the car would not start. We had to replace the starter. Sure would have been nice if it would have been correctly diagnosed by Ken Towery. We could have avoided having to be towed and being off the road for four hours.

I think to myself awesome ... so I tell him I’ll head on over and I get there at 230 walk in say hey just called need to get my brakes looked at and changed most likely .... His response “ oh we can’t do it today we got 2 much goin on “ I ask well your open till 5 right ? He says yea but he won’t have time today and just looks at me.... he might as well said get the hell out ... needless to say I was not pleased and if anyone wants to go there make sure your schedule fits into what ever is convenient for them.

My Wife and I had a new set of tires put on her Kia Sedona Minivan and were very pleased with service and pricing and They were able to install them within an hour and a half! Nice folks, Clean restrooms and waiting area! Nothing bad to say here!

Found out (almost accident) that both brakes were out in my car. I went car repair shop to car repair shop and not one person would even help me. Finally stopped here and they were busy. But, the gentleman working in front (young guy) not only looked but also changed my bulbs. Going forward I will do my business with you! Thank you so much!

I waited a day and a half for a fax because they told me it wasnt their job to call for payment after they were given a wrong fax bumber and refused to call my insurance company back. Insurance comoany clearly stated they do not deal with payment matters with customers the shop was suplose to call and decided they would just wait for the fax; for how long would you have kept my car becfore calling it doesnt take 24 or 48 hoirs for a fax to come through!! They cost me my job because i had to play middle man and call between the two becuae they coukdnt clarify a few numbers to reicenve payment
