Used for Landscaping: I have been avoiding writing this review as Jerry is a man of character and I have the utmost admiration for the man. However, I and my family are completely dissatisfied with the landscaping job he and his Pro-Tech employees did in our back and front yard. It was a complete redo and he made suggestions that we trusted at the time. It was for lain sod (approx 500 sqft), a planter area that wrapped around the backyard, a front yard planter, a backyard pergula and rock removal and replacement - as well as sprinkler system repair and setup. When the team originally came they failed to lay the plastic down for the rocks correctly leading to areas of over growth, the sod was laid on the original soil which was hard and not suitable for growth which has led to all the grass dying regardless of how much we attempt to water as it has nowhere for the roots to grow. The pergula was very poorly done, with poorly chosen wood and I had to provide the team with my own power tools as they were under equiped to do the job. The front planter, instead of filling with soil to plant items in, the pro-tech workers filled it with mulch leading to all the plants dying in a short amount of time. The wrap around bed originally had tree placed but because they werent planted correctly all of them died, leaving spining dead branches all over our yard. He did fire the employees who did such shoddy work but that is little comfort as we are the victims of the poor quality and have nothing to show for it.Suffice to say, there is not much we as a family are happy about when it comes to our yard. Jerry has been good at times to say he is going to fix the issue however it has been several months since I brought this to his attention and have had no response. The cost for the job was much pricier than other landscaping companies and were not at all proud to show it off to friends and family of the job Pro-Tech has done. Be weary and potentially look else where for your landscaping needs.

Pro-tech has been to my property a few times this year and I have to say they are one of the best businesses Ive ever dealt with. Jerry is always just a text message away. He is attentive, polite, and very professional. They are willing to work around their customers schedule.I had my house sprayed for pest control and it seemed to work great. We didnt have any issues after that.They also sprayed and pulled the weeds in my front and back yard. All the weeds were pulled, they cleaned up after themselves and left my property clean and tidy.I have already recommended this company to friends and would encourage anyone who is looking for great work at a reasonable price to stop here. Unreliable. Owner does not keep his time frame given. Used them in the past where owner ran late, but discounted price due to inconvenience. Recently tried to give them another chance, but ran into the same issue.

My husband started using this company in the spring of 2018, we originally contracted them to install sod at our West El Paso home, they charged a very high price but we thought they would be professional and properly install the grass. The owner told my husband that he would ensure there was proper sprinkler coverage and we need not worry about any issues. During the install we noticed the workers were just throwing the new sod on top of the old grass, this was after my husband pointed out to the owner Jerry that the yard was bumpy and he ensured the new install would solve that. By installing new sod on top of the existing grass the yard became even more uneven. This should have been a dead give away to not contract this company further but my husband insisted, the owner constantly says he agrees with your complaints and that hell make everything right. This more often than not was just talk, which obviously it is frustrating constantly telling a landscaper how to do their job, so eventually you give up which Im sure is what they wanted. We wanted them to mow and clean our yard bi-weekly, we pointed out that unsightly grass grew in flowerbeds and the owner insisted theyd take care of it but he would have to charge more per service, not only would the crew not take care of the grass, they damaged very expensive plants using weedwhackers to cut the grass. My $200 big barrel cactus have cuts all over them from Pro-Tech landscapers improperly using weedwhackers to remove grass that was around them. On multiple occasions sprinkler heads were broken, hoses were cut from trimming bushes, and this caused leaks which amounted to higher water bills and loss of plants due to the hoses being cut and us not knowing the sprinklers werent watering properly. Of course Pro-Tech didnt inform anyone that they broke the sprinkler heads/hoses and my husband discovered it on his own. You have to babysit this company constantly. Save your money, save your yard, save your time, save your plants, and find someone else to do your yard work. This company is not professional and the owner just endlessly blames his employees and never solves the issues. My husband was far to patient with this company and they continued to break things, destroy plants, and never fixed our patchy sod they installed for thousands of dollars. Hire a real landscaper, thats my advice, this company is full of excuses and not worth the headache.
