Sad to say I had a very bad experience with Geek Squad recently. In March I lent my computer to my brother and when I got it back the screen wouldn’t turn on, I went before quarantine and I got it back around April 1st. When I got home and opened it I don’t believe that they closed the screen right because as I opened it the hinge stopped and shattered the screen... I called the store and said that there was no more appointments being made for geek squad and I tried calling the company and they said that they couldn’t do anything, and that I would just have to wait for when they opened back up, and I asked them when they were gonna open back up but they said they didn’t know. Once they finally opened back up again I took it so that they could fix the mistake they made and they didn’t want to, they claimed that it was because more then 30 days had passed, I got it back April 1st and 30 days would’ve been May 1st but they were still closed at that time, they also said it was my fault since they “didn’t touch the screen” which I retorted by saying I had had that computer for almost 4 years and have never had a problem with the screen, very bad customer service and horrible communication. They wanted me to send it out again and pay for it out of pocket and I just picked up my laptop and said I would never have anything done to any of my devices there again.

Horrible experience. Sent in my gfs phone for repairs. They took a week to ship it out to Apple, and then it was brought back to Best Buy a week later because they couldn’t repair it. The reason why it couldn’t be repaired was because it had a small crack on the corner of the phone. Best Buy geek squad wrote a report that said it had no damages and sent it in. They messed up and didn’t want to fix the problem. Would not recommend going there. Worst service I’ve ever experienced.

Geek Squad was fantastic! I could not get my wireless printer to work and Geek Squad quickly figured out the problem. It was a faulty modem and router. Luckily I had an extra router and modem, which they connected quickly. After that, they went above and beyond by programming all of my TVs to connect to the Internet. Very nice people who knew exactly what they were doing. Highly recommended!

New LG C8 TV calibration scheduled way in advance. Received numerous emails reminding me of appointment date and time. No one showed up on day scheduled. There was no call, text or email as to why no show. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

My son and I brought his computer to be serviced. He had called before we left home and talked with them but they never mentioned we need to make a reservation. Well, when we got there we realized that there was a waiting list. So we signed up to make a reservation and waited, and waited. There were 2 employees working, after one of them got down with his client he left and disapeared. Horrible service. Waited more than an hour. I left my son there, he is still waitin.

We purchased a new large TV in April, it was shipped/received in May... it broke down in June... to me, that screams lemon. Luckily, we bought the extended warranty; or maybe not lucky. We called GeekSquad and told them about the brand new TV giving us color lines. It took them a week to come out and then low and behold, the issue is the one we described. So it may be a cracked board or whatever, or maybe blah blah. So now its going to take another week. This is pure junk merchandise. Looking at all of their reviews, I wonder how they arent sued and closed down.

Save some money and do yourself a favor and never give this franchise business, go to a local shop they will treat you good and give you a fair price.. my mom got ripped off by this guys and some of my friends..
