Always a good visit

Good price and very friendly. New to the area, have tried 3 barbers 2 times each. Unfortunately have to report Dans is my 2nd choice...I asked two different barbers for a zero on the side only to be spun around 20 minutes later with a 1 or a 2 on the sides...I didnt want to hang out longer to fix it. The first time was a lady who repeatedly asked you said a one on the sides right? I corrected her top a zero but still got a 1! If you need a cut on Monday, they are your best bet but ensure you are clear and repeat what you want!

I have popped into Dans for a last minute haircut a few different times. The hours are perfect for me to get a fresh cut in the morning before I go to work. I have always been happy with the atmosphere and the service. The conversation is always relevant and stimulating. This is especially nice as I usually find haircut conversations to be the same mindless babble between two strangers. Clearly there is a plethora of experience here.

Great barber! They did a fantastic job with my son. He does not like the clippers at all and is quite fidgety. The young lady was patient, professional, and gave him the best haircut hes ever had. He was very impressed with his new look, and I could not have been happier! The owner was also very pleasant. We definitely have a new barber.

If you go here just ask for Dan to cut your hair as it could be a bit hit or miss with the hired help, as they seem to change every few months, but I have never had a bad cut from Dan. NOW if Suzan is there, I would take her over Dan anyday, she is awesome. The shop itself is always friendly and i have never waited there more then 30 minutes or so.

Dan is a good guy. He always remembers a customers face, and tends to recall details from the last time we spoke. Even when he isnt there, the staff he has entrusted the establishment to know their stuff. I have a small medical condition that many hair dressers/barbers usually remark upon or make me feel embarrassed about, but neither Dan nor any of his staff has ever made mention of it. I feel like a normal person there. Cash only transactions are a very small price to pay, for such great service!

We moved to Metro about 18 months ago. At the time, finding a quality barber that cut our hair well was a consideration that we considered to be difficult to fulfill. Dans Barber Stop has consistently given us the best experience, both in haircuts and service. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved it! The people there are nice and easy to talk to! My haircut was phenomenal, exactly the way I love it! Even my fiancee loved it! Definitely going to make this my regular place!

Wish Dan was there because worse haircut in my life. 25 years in the military averaging one haircut every two weeks and this was the worse...incompetent barber. Requested skin on the sides and back; and the young lady gave me a yes. Then she (who looked hungover) took a good two minutes to butcher my hair. Could have done it better with my own knife. Wish I could post a picture of the haircut. Go spend more money for a better haircut. Dont recommend to anyone.

I showed up to get a haircut as they were closing for the day and instead of being turned away they happily sat me in a chair and gave me a great haircut. Friendly barbers, great price and a great cut. Highly recommended.

The girl who cut my hair was obviously in a rush. I told her which direction I parted my hair, she cut it for the opposite. I turned to look at it in the mirror when she finished. The other woman said, I tell people not even to look at it because if you dont like it theres nothing you can do anyway. To which the girl who cut my hair said, yeah, our policy is get over it incredibly unprofessional. Only upside is that it is cheap.

My haircut was descent enough. I understand that it take a couple time for a client and barber to get familiar with each other.Unfortantly my friend that was with me had a young lady whom I assume was Sandie cut his hair. She was texting with her hair dresser and was rushing to make an appt she had with her, not to mention was in gym shorts, a sority t-shirt and flip flop, while my barber was a very well put together young lady that looked comfortable as a hair professional should but very classy and proper work attire.My buddie got a high fad and messy on top, well the fad stops about an inch higher on one side vs the other and theres still long hairs around his neckline. Had Sandie of not been in a hurry this might not have happened. Now we will be finding a different barber that can fit him in today because Sandie rushed out before it was noticed and could be fixed. I gave 2 stars based on the haircut and service we received together in the same trip.

Very inappropriate woman up front by the door talking about being naughty and needing a sugar daddy and referring herself as the transgendered Dan also was suppose to get a beard trim the girl did mainly just the side burns then i went to pay and they $28 for two cuts went to pull out cash and the woman by the door said no thats $20 for him he got a beard trim the girl that did my hair said she really did not touch the beard she told her it doesnt matter so the price jumped to $38 needless to say will not be coming back here.
