I had my first encounter with a deer and managed to total my car. The tow truck driver showed up within 10 mins and sat with us until the trooper showed up (which they never showed). He was extremely kind. The next day, the guy at the office showed concern for me and my passenger. Making sure we were okay, helped me fill out the release form for my insurance company, and I had forgotten my ID but had it sent to me in a photo. He was extremely understanding and I so very appreciated his concern and kindness. I would absolutely use them again and recommend their service.The guy at the office made the comment Thank you for not yelling at me. Which truly broke my heart because why would I yell at him for ME forgetting MY I.D. and insurance card? He was doing his job and helped me find other ways to provide him with the paperwork he needed to complete his job.Again, thank you for your kindness during a nerve racking time. It was greatly appreciated. :)

Officer said it would be a nice fair cheap place to tow car, get there and the fees are outrageous.Would give zero stars if I could. RUDE customer service and expensive fees for absolutely NO reason. Very unhappy.I dont care how bad of a day she was having, theres no reason for the lady working front desk to be taking it out on customers that did nothing.

OMG absolutely love Matts auto and towing, freezing cold, starter went out in the car, called Matts and got the best service ever, next time I need help Ill call Matts, I have already recommend them to 4 people. Way to go!!!

The receptions was polite, pricing was fair, no damages to car from being towed as far as we could tell.I know some others on here said they had bad experiences, but was not the case for us.Keep up the good work and if you get complaints: use them to better and learn from.

Very hard to work with when having to get get the trailer off there site.. no mercy... when it was not my fault that trailer was there to begin with due to the hopkins police department just sent it to them instead of letting me know when it should be taking....

I was on my way home driving north on 494 at around 9:00pm. The rear tire blew on my car. State Trooper dispatch connected me to Matts Auto. An extremely funny and polite young man was there in less than 10min. He found that the spare tire didnt fit for my car. He called the shop and another young man came out with a different spare and again it didnt fit. My choices were to have my car towed home-40miles- or the young men offered to tow my car to the shop and see if they had a tire there that would fit. At the shop there was a total of 5 young men- all very polite and willing to figure out the option that was cheapest! They figured out that I had a hole from a nail or screw and it would be possible to just plug it. By them taking the time to check options- it saved me approx $275 or more! They simply could have just towed me home because it would have been easier. I felt safe and comfortable at the shop. If a tow is what you need or to have your vehicle worked on- this business is trustworthy and very reasonable!

Avoid this company at all costs. I was encouraged to use them by county sheriffs for a tow and service when my vehicle broke down nearby and was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. The mechanic became frustrated with me when I asked questions for clarification on diagnostic problem with my vehicle and the job they wanted to do as information they gave me about what was wrong with my vehicle had changed a couple times. He urged me to have someone that understands cars call him instead. He was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, at one point even hung up the phone on me for simply asking clarifying questions about the problem and what work it would entail. I eventually requested to seek another opinion from my regular mechanic. Office staff were also unprofessional and rude and the owner did not appear sympathetic to complaints.Also wroth noting that it appears they have a strange relationship with law enforcement and sheriffs that help send business their way when peoples vehicles breakdown nearby and they have limited other options.

Nobody wants to call a tow truck.... but car broke down and the driver was great! Arrived quickly, made some quick comments about bolts missing around the mudflapps which he though we might be unaware of... All around great and professional service. Thank you!

It was quick and easy to hand my vehicle over to them to junk it. The only thing I didnt like was the rude comment the guy made.

Went in because my air conditioning was not working. John was able to get it working by doing a drain and recharge of the refrigerant! And the cost was very reasonable! Great service, great experience. Thanks John for the outstanding customer service experience.

Called Matt’s after my car tire blew. Julie was so sweet on the phone and checked immediately to see when some one could come save the day! A tow truck was out in less then 15 mins and drove me to where I needed to go!

Damaged my 1970 impala!!! The owner seemed nice and upfront but its been almost 2 months and my car has been sitting in his lot. He has tried to offer me low valued cars such as a 2001 ford Taurus for my classic, thats insulting.I dont believe he is trying to fix what he damaged,I also believe he towed it for a personal reason trying to keep it for himself. Horrible service!!!

Not impressed with these guys. I had a flat tire during the polar vortex and a cop sent them out to help me since I was unable to connect with an agent with AAA. The cop told me they would accept AAA, so I agreed to have them come out. About 15 minutes later a guy pulls up and asks me how I’m going to pay. I told him I have AAA. He then tells me that they don’t take AAA. I told him what he charged then and he told me that it was going to be $85 because of the polar vortex. Talk about taking advantage of people during a crisis! He then replaced my front right wheel with the donut after I asked him to switch the back tire first, because it would ruin the transmission.Reviews probably don’t matter to these guys since the cops are the ones that send them out.

These people are so rude. My car was there for less than 48 hours after an accident. As I politely asked for a breakdown of the $344 they charged me, I was told very rudely, you will pay for this or your car wont leave the lot. Where do these people get the nerve to talk to customers like that? This place consists of nothing more than roadside vultures who capitalize on people who are traumatized and injured. Be very careful when the police ask where you want your smashed up vehicle to be taken. I have no doubt that the BBB will catch up with them.

Charged me for a tow when then drove the vehicle to the impound lot and made it difficult to get it released. Bunch of but holes if you ask me.

I had Matt’s towing tow my car. My car was fixed I went to pick it up and they failed to tell me they damaged my cars bumper they were very sneaky had my car backed up in to a spot so I wouldn’t notice the damage. Matt’s towing then states they can fix it with touch up paint. Touch up paint will not fix what they did. I will be contacting the BBB and my lawyer.

My car was impounded after an accident, and the office staff were extremely helpful about what to do after that point.The impound office hours are inconvenient, as they are not 24/7. If not for this, I would have given them five stars.Again, this review is for dealing with the office staff, not the actual towers.

Id like to rate them well because they are a local company but I cant. Once our car was towed out of a field (after being stolen) and Matts bent our frame, Insurance had to pay to fix. And another time I had to call to complain because one of their drivers was being rude to some people working at our house when they called for a tow.

Very rude woman apparently doesnt feel obligated to answer even simple questions. Learn some customer service skills.

Drivers wouldnt give me ideas of prices before towing.Very much out to take advantage of people howve been in an accident.High storage fees that they wont tell you about unless you know to ask.$65 to pull from the ditch, $145 to tow 5 miles, $45 for fuel, $40 administration fees, $45 a day storage!
