I will echo the refrain that I also highly recommend this service provider. Not only did they take care of the mouse problem and kept me informed all along (at a very reasonable price, I think) the tech who made one of the inspections noticed a wasp nest under the deck and took care of that, no charge! He even said in the service report that he got stung a few times and that he was glad he found it so he could take care of it. Now THAT is commitment to service. Highly recommend!I reached out because I had seen what I thought were a few cockroaches over the last couple of months. The guys called me ahead of time so that I knew what time they would be here. When they showed up they were friendly and professional. They looked around and found a small dead bug. After they did some quick research, they found that it was actually a kind of beetle that grows as large as cockroaches. Since that kind of insect isnt one that would become an infestation, they gave me their honest opinion of how they would proceed if it was their own homes. They gave me great advice and the inspection and didnt even charge me a dime. This is how business is supposed to be done. Hopefully I never need their services in the future, but if I do Ill know where to go. Support small businesses like these!

We contacted 1st Choice last spring because we had a terrible Asian beetle problem. They sprayed inside our home and within two days almost all were dead. They came out last week and sprayed the exterior of our home to prevent the beetles from entering our home and so far its great. There are dead Asian beetles, box elder and wasps dead all over our deck. Im looking forward a winter without having to vacuum them up numerous times a day.

Travis Braden came out and discussed an approach to handle the female raccoon and the babies she had after breaking into the belly pan and subsequently under the garden tub in the master bathroom. we decided it best to live trap her in the crawl space. That accomplished we live trapped the babies, one at a time. The raccoon removal took a few days as the young raccoons would only enter the trap one at a time. All in all the experience went very well and the interaction with 1st Choice Pest Solutions was very good. They were timely, courteous, and very professional in their work. I would both recommend them and use their service again.

Robert scheduled a time to come out and do the bat exclusion, he was extremely detailed, nice, explained everything he was doing and went above and beyond to check the house for any areas bats could enter. After reading Google Reviews I decided to pursue 1st Choice as I prefer to support smaller, more local outfits. Id just purchased an older home and there were several areas where insects and spiders were getting into the house (cracks in the brick near the fireplace, unfinished crawl spaces in the lower level, etc.). Put in a request with home advisor for some in ground wasp nest mitigation I needed done. Within a few hours I received a call to inquire about my needs. Scheduled for the next day. Next day came around and the technician showed up well within the given timeframe and got rid of the nests. Did an excellent job! 10/10 recommend for any pest mitigation services.

I had a frightening mouse infestation. Nathan is the most patient and knowledgeable agent of this type Ive ever worked with. At times I was near hysteria, but he always remained calm and in control of the situation. I have not seen any sign of a mouse for a year now. And when my concern became that we may poison predator babies in the Spring, they were able to offer me other choices to keep control of the situation. I would never have believed I could live without mice in the basement. Nathan tracked down the entryways and took care of them. Im a 100% satisfied with 1st Choice Pest Solutions! The guys were very professional, arrived on time when expected, responsive to my emails, calls and texts. Diligently worked to find out where the mice were getting in were able to stop them! We also had them spray for spiders which works great as well. Would recommend them to anyone and will use them in the future for bug spraying. Hoping I wont ever need them for rodents again :-)

Mike was quick to respond to my request, and showed up the next day to address our ant issue. It’s been about two weeks and the ants under the sink are gone and it looks as though we had a bigger problem than we thought as more dead ants are showing up in our basement. At this point I think the job was well done and he was quick to answer all of our questions.Mike ensured us that the treatment he was using didn’t pose a threat to our dog or us. He was very knowledgeable on the topic and you can tell he takes his job seriously. I highly recommend mike and his company for any insect issues as he was great for us.

1st Choice has come two years in a row to get rid of bats in our attic. Because of their great customer service and professionalism, I also decided to switch to them from another pest control company for my insect barrier treatment. Our service technician, Robert, is very knowledgeable and very patient with all of my concerns and questions. He has come back to the house on repeated occasions to ensure that there are no additional problems.

Woodpeckers created a hole under an eave about 30 feet off the ground. Robert K climbed a ladder in the rain and fixed the hole, placed streamers and painted the area. From start to finish, this company was professional, had excellent follow up and did great work

I bought an old cabin with many critters. Robert was very responsive, so easy to work with and put together a plan and we are now a critter free cabin! Because of their affordable pricing I am able to have them check in monthly to keep things in order!

They were very professional. Thorough, and in my estimation have done a creditable job or the terrible Bats problem we had. theres still more to be done, like spraying to rid of bat bugs. on 30 days Other wise a 4.9 out of 5 is very good. One thing still hasnt crossed my email of the actual description of what Im paying for other than $3100 for a bat inclusion. $50 per hour for each man in a 10 hr day is still only $1000. Whats the other $2100 for?

Hunter did an excellent job - very professional and great follow through. He called and texted when he wasnt going to make it because of rain and then called the day he was going to come. He was fast and polite. Hes obviously been trained very well. I appreciate 1st Choices follow through and communication. They do a great job.

So far, so good. Nathan came out to our cabin and did a thorough evaluation, sealed up some holes, set some mouse traps inside and bait stations outside. Came back a few days later and the traps were all empty. Fingers crossed that we have got a handle on our mouse issue!

I had called another pest control company last summer to see if I had rodents in my attic. I had been hearing noises in the walls and ceiling. He looked around outside and stuck his head in the attic, but did not go up. He told me that he did not see any activity up there and that he did not see any entry points outside. He told me that I was probably just hearing the bushes blow against the outside wall. This summer, I continued to hear noises, so I decided to call 1st Choice. Robert Koivisto actually went up into the attic and found tunnels in the insulation. He said we definitely have mice. Then he found 5 entry points in the condo building. He and the office staff worked with out association and quickly got approval to get started with a plan to get rid of the mice. I would definitely recommend 1st Choice and Robert Koivisto,. They put in the extra effort that the previous company did not!

Weve been experiencing what we thought were carpet beetles in our guest bedroom and had tried everything we could to eradicate the pests. Corey Lueck from 1st Choice Pest Solution came to our rescue! David came to tower site that had large wasp nest. He was very professional and on time and was able to remove the nest. Because the nest was so large he needed to treat the nest on day one and then come back the second day to remove it. Both times he was on time and very professional.

We woke in the middle of the night to a bat flying around our mobile home. We called and left a message. HUNTER K responded early Saturday morning and asked questions, told us to close all inner doors and open the outside doors to let the bat find its way out. He said he would be over in about an hour. He made a point of thoroughly investigating the eaves and roof for spots that a bat might be able to enter and closed off all the sites he found. He has called back twice to check if we are still bat-free. He is an awesome employee and did a great job for us. We will gladly use this company again if we need help with unwanted critters.

I came across 1st Choice Pest Solutions through the Home Advisor/Angie Android phone app. They contacted me and we discussed the problem I was having with a pair of small birds nesting just behind the flashing along the roof of my second floor home. They called the next morning to set up an appointment. Later that morning they came out did an inspection, called me to let me know what they could do and what it would cost. The cost was very reasonable so I agreed to have the work done. They cleaned out the nest and sealed up the area as well as other areas that could be possible future nesting spots. I am very pleased with their work. The billing was straight forward. I received an email with an invoice for the work done in PDF format and a web link to click on to pay online. I was able to pay online using Paypal. Overall, great experience!

I’ve been using their services for about a year now. Started out getting rid of the mice in the garage. They now spray for insects as well. After the first two times they were here I haven’t seen a mouse. Asian Beetles showed up in force, one visit and we’ve only found dead ones since. Always show up when they say and always on time.
