Just started going here a few weeks back after years of not going to dentist. Already have a few issues fixed and more planned. I wish I could give better than 5 star I had my teeth cleaned today and they got spots off my teeth that have been there since my teen years. I am super happy with msd so far

Service was great until they didnt bill my insurance . When trying to resolve this matter I was hung up by the financial department 3 times finally the person I originally talked to said I need to bill my insurance. A nightmare from the start and now there taking me to collections very not impressed

From meeting Savannah at the reception desk to having Alicia clean my teeth they were both great! I then had to have two crowns prepped for placement. Ashley was Dr. Pepers assistant. I loved them both. I was scared of the Novocain shots but it was a 2/10. She was gentle and did a very thorough job. I felt very comfortable in the chair. I highly recommend this dentistry!

I have been going here for several years, I have learned to request a hygienist that works best for you. My mom and I always go to Kelsey and Dr.Peper. The reception staff is really kind and efficient.

The first time me going to Menomonie street dental was the best! Never thought you guys could make getting my teeth cleaned so fun, and fast. Service was great! I will male sure to come back ever chance I get! Everyone was so nice, and the atmosphere was great. I felt appreciated once I walked through those doors. Like they were happy to clean my teeth. Dr. Eric Carlson and all of the dental assistants are great, very thorough and the receptionist was polite and helpful.Michaela the Treatment Coordinator on the other hand should be avoided at all costs.She does not want to do basic parts of her job like make promised follow-up phone call or file insurance paperwork, requiring me to go over her head.Im told that these issues have been fixed and look forward to seeing that first hand.

Not only was everyone pleasant and friendly, they made me feel welcome first and foremost. The staff unanimously is cheerful, articulate, well educated, and expedient. Every solitary question that I addressed staff with was answered with honesty and integrity. After not seeing a dentist for seven years I was not nervous. I was however in saw with the care and time each employee took with me. I had just finished my third shift job and they had me in promptly. I can’t recall the name of the nice 24 year old dentist’s apprentice who took care and time with me. Explaining everything honestly and kind heartedly. If I had not been so exhausted I would be able to recall her name. She at least deserves a free lunch at a minimum. Dr. Derek was also kind and thorough. The receptionist Brian was more than friendly, personable, and flexible with scheduling. If I were not 34, taken by a young lady, and a gentleman myself I would remember the young lady’s name who was took more care than ANY dentist I have seen. They have cutting edge technology with water guns that vibrate plaque off in order to make teeth cleaning painless and more simple. The times are changing and Menomonie Street Dental has kept with it and some. 98.7% rating, just like good ole Classic Rock should be. Kelsey, the dental hygienist, made my 4 year old daughter feel so comfortable. Kelsey is amazing! On the way home my daughter said she was in love with Dr. Derek. :-) Cant get much better than that.

First time at a dentist in a few years. Lets just say its not one of my favorite things to do, haha. Staff made me feel welcomed, no shame. Addressed all my concerns with understanding and left me feeling in complete control of my options. I loved the way they explained everything they were doing during the exam. A HUGE stress relief!

If youre considering biological dentistry here are a few insights: As in all things, if one thing is off in your health its very likely impacting other aspects of your health as well. Getting treated by a biological dentist will naturally lead to a discussion about your diet, health supplements, exercise and anything else that can improve your overall health. Because at the end of the day, treating your health with a holistic approach will enhance it in ways you could never have guessed possible.I chose Menomonie Street Dental because I prefer biological dentistry for myself and my child. However, after moving to Wisconsin, I started my childs dental care in a standard pediatric practice with a cleaning and exam. We were given a treatment plan consisting of a root canal and cap along with four other NEW fillings. Holy cow! Knowing I needed to obtain a second opinion I researched biological dentists to find someone near our home so we wouldnt have to travel back to our old state for services - which I would have done in a heartbeat.Although Dr. van Gordens practice is located over 2 hours from our hometown, I felt it was worth the trip to have my child be seen by him. And I was not wrong. What a difference! His demeanor was friendly and calm, his exam was thorough, his recommendations NOT at all what wed already been told and his suggestions about the holistic care of my child much appreciated. I feel empowered by his information and were moving forward with his treatment plan which does call for the replacement of two fillings, but does not call for a root canal/cap plus four NEW fillings.I believe if youre willing to step outside of the box of what weve come to know as standard dental care and take a chance on something new you will not be disappointed coming here. In fact, youre likely to learn a whole lot of new things and be inspired to approach your overall health care in a more engaged and informed manner.

Menomonie Street Dental has been our go-to dental provider since 1995. Now my hygienist and dentist are Alicia and Brittany, respectively. They are superb dental professionals, and I actually look forward to my visits to MSD. From my perspective Alicia and Brittany are the finest dental care givers I have ever known.

Menomonie Street Dental is the best dental office I have ever been to. The doctors, hygienists, and front staff are all kind and genuine. The prices are comparable for the quality of work that is done. I have had cleanings by Ali and Alicia who were both super friendly and helped me to feel comfortable. Dr. Peper is very professional and compassionate. Will never see anyone else!

And Dr. Carlson is great! My little one wasnt thrilled about having her teeth checked, but both Kelsie and Dr. Carlson were quick, gentle, and encouraging. Overall a great experience.

Always a pleasant experience. They take time for the personal and are very professional. Love the view of nature and the squirrels fattening up for winter. Dr. Carlson answered all my questions and explained the procedure in understandable terms. Gave me choices as well on my anesthesia or not. Made me feel part of the team.

I have gone to this dentist office for about 30 years.I currently live in Iowa &today drove 5 1/2 hours one way to get work done.I do this because they are professional, friendly, very knowledgeable of all the work they do,&I appreciate the steps they take for the removal of the mercury fillings.Today they removed my last mercury filling&an abscessed root canal. Thank you to this great business!

I was out of town and had a slight urgency. I called at the end of Friday and was able to get an appointment on Monday. I had a great experience. Employees were friendly and professional.

Treat you more like a number with dollar sign than a patient. I also didnt like the complete lack of privacy with the open setting. I could hear the person in the chair a few feet over getting their teeth drilled.From their response there is a red flag for everyone on their record keeping.

Dr.Huiras is one great dentist. I have never been to a dentist who cared so much about your smile. The initial exam will point out all the problems and she will set up a plan to get everything fixed. Not all at once but an excellent plan to get you looking top notch. As disgusting as the mouth can be, it makes you more aware of the amout of issues there could be. They have state of the art equipment which shows you in detail what they are talking about. With the exception of the jargon that unless you are a dentist, you wouldnt know. Ask, they will tell you. Also, Shannon is one of the best financial advisers to speak with.(UPDATED:10/13/2020) While I still am in communication with these people, be aware if life happens, they will still work with you however very unprofessional about it, Shannon was very rude to me on the phone today saying things like to be fair and you missed our call so we went into a panic mode. IVE BEEN IN COMMUNICATION WITH YOU AND YOUR TEAM THE ENTIRE TIME, SORRY LIFE HAPPENED TO ME AND I LOST MY PHONE, WHATS WORSE, YOU SCREWED ME OUT OF MY MONEY AND CAUSED ME TO GET A NFS CHARGE THROUGH MY BANK EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE/HAD AN AGREEMENT AND TELL ME THAT WERE EVEN BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT CHARGING ME INTEREST, YOU WENT AGAINST OUR AGREEMENT AND CHARGED MY CARD WITHOUT MY CONSENT. UNPROFESSIONAL, WILL GO AGAINST A SINGED AGREEMENT, WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN AND I WILL BE SHARING THIS STORY WITH EVERYONE I KNOW. I really did love this company but after today and after I pay you off, ill never do business here again. Im grateful for the job on my teeth, but as for business practices, very unethical, unprofessional, and down right dirty. I also hope people read this and really take this situation into account before ever doing business with you, especially during this time with COVID-19 becoming more rampid your business practices are terrible. My three year old had a great first exam here. The hygienist was extremely patient and kind. Ive also had work done here myself. Its a lot easier to take your mind off of being at the dentist when you can watch you favorite show on Netflix during the appointment; most of the doctors have TVs mounted on the ceiling above the chair, and the wireless headphones block out any uncomfortable sounds.

The best experience you could possibly have in the dental office chair! Dr. Kari Peper put a new crown on for me and I couldn’t be happier with her! What a wonderful job! I would recommend her to everyone!

Went because it looked super nice on the outside, and I had already heard great reviews. My dentist is Dr. Carlson, and let me tell you, he is one of the nicest dentists I have ever had. I needed my wisdom teeth removed, and decided to have the procedure done by him. The combination of the numbing and aesthetic made it a fantastic experience. One root broke off in one side, so they had to sew me up but thats it. I went in at 11 and with getting numb, getting anesthesia, and having the teeth pulled I was out within 40 minutes. The last week I have felt little pain, the only place it hurt was on the left were they sewed me up. Overall a fantastic experience. I recommend Dr. Carlson to anyone, he is super down to earth and just a great person to talk to. I already set my teeth cleaning appointment because I cannot wait to go back!

They are the reason I had to have a root canal. I am very disappointed with them. My teeth were fine when I went in for my 6-month check up. After doing an apparent filling fix I began having problems with that tooth and they told me I needed a root canal. $3000 later, I feel cheated and pissed off. I never should have let them mess with my filling. They created their own profit. I will never go back here again. Please beware and never take a dentists opinion over your own. It might cost you.

Their dental work is very good. However, you need to pay the cost of the treatment IN FULL. If not, they will threaten you with Small Claims Court, regardless of the remaining balance amount or even if you attempt to make ANY reasonable payments!

Dr. Travis and his assistants (Carol & Tiffany) are very caring individuals. In recent years I have become more anxious at the dentist office given the longer procedures like root canals and crowns. They do everything possible to make the experience as positive as possible. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my dental needs. They take care of my whole family.

Their service was professional, quick, pretty much painless (I had a mercury filling removed and chip repaired). I didnt expect it to be done so quickly. Going to the dentist isnt high on most peoples list, but Id recommend this place when you have to. Courteous staff and a doctor who went over and above the standard.

MSD has a great team that works with you to find the best, most cost effective solution. I have never been happier with a dentist / orthodontist. If I had gone here as a kid I can guarantee I wouldnt have cried every time I needed to go in for a cleaning. They also give out great swag.

I have been there before in 2013 spent $16,000.00 on my teeth, decided not to go back had a Painful tooth. so I did go back yesterday. Dr Carlson was very short with me from the beginning. The staff was very friendly the tooth was pulled cost me $441.00 for 1 tooth. I think they were upset that they could not make more money on me this time. I will never go there again. My experience was very thorough as I hadnt been to my dentist since 2010 due to getting laid off & also w/o Insurance @ that time! I feel they gave me a real thorough checkup!!! X-rays, examined condition of ALL my teeth since I was there last! Help me to setup appt. for teeth cleaning & also having a crown put in along w/ fixing a decayed tooth in Sept.

We love Menomonie Street Dental and Dr. Huiras! After avoiding going to the dentist for nearly a decade...I finally made an appointment last year. I was so scared to go, but left feeling wonderful. There was no judgement, only helpful and friendly staff who wanted me to feel comfortable and have made all my experiences there enjoyable. We also brought our two year old son in for his first dentist appointments. Everyone was SO impressive with him. He loves going to the dentist! 🙂

They were able to schedule myself and my two kids pretty much all the same time so we only spent a little over an hour versus three at the Dentist, super helpful for working parents!

I went here for 7-8 years. Stopped going because my dentist failed to inform me that I was potentially grinding my teeth at night. It took an orthodontist to tell me this and now my teeth are really on the downward spiral.

I’ve noticed a big change in the office with the new dentists and staff, and unfortunately it’s not for the better. I miss the experienced staff and may be looking elsewhere after having been a patient here for almost 10 years.

I just had my 2nd crown prep done by Dr, Huiras. She has such a nice friendly personality, easy to talk to and ask any questions about your teeth. She makes you feel comfortable and checks in with you to see how your feeling while having any procedure done. I would highly recommend Dr. Huiras for any of your dental needs.

Terrible dentral office. When youve had your wisdom teeth pulled and you still have pain 4 months later you call the office and let then know youve been having pain on and off for several months and first they want to charge you an emergency visit price even though its something causes from the surgery and then when you finally get in after calling the office for 2 days and your told well we cant see anything you need to come back when your in MORE pain...really we called THE day it was hurting really bad but you couldnt call us back and then you wanted to charge us emergency prices so we wait and not were told to come back when it hurts more. I cant even believe this office got any trading higher than 1 star.
