Overall the staff was very nice to work with! The assistant Brittany was easy to talk with and made me feel comfortable during my first visit at Aspen. Both the dentist and the hygienist were very knowledgeable and explained things very well. I was able to get my cleaning done on the same day as well, which was super nice. Skyler, the hygienist that cleaned my teeth, was a pleasure to worth with and did a great job explaining everything she was doing while also giving me tips for things I need to work on at home. I will definitely be returning for future needs and cleanings!

The office I visited turned out to be a very pleasant experience. I hadnt been to a dentist for a few years so my mouth was in tough shape. The office in Eau Claire took me in and was very thorough and gentle. A highly professional staff escorted me through all the normal new patient requirements and then made recommendations for further treatment. Everyone I met was very friendly and professional. From someone who does not like dental work, this was truly an almost pleasurable experience. I look forward to a long relationship.

Everyone that I came in contact with made me feel comfortable. Britney, the x-ray person, took the pictures without hurting my mouth. This was a first for my tender gums. I was not left alone sitting in a chair, but taken care of swiftly and courteously. Thank you, everyone at Aspen Dental for making this a very pleasant experience. I will be back.

The Eau Claire office is amazing! I needed a lot of work done on my teeth. They were all so helpful and nice. Brittany is the sweetest thing, and always makes sure Im comfortable. Now that my teeth are repaired, Ive started Invisalign. My teeth are very tight against each other which was damaging them. They made the entire process so easy. Its a wonderful experience any time in there.❤️❤️❤️

I had a tooth extracted and the dentist kept me apprised of his progress and what to expect. He treated me with respect and I appreciate his chairside manner. The assistants in the room were outstanding as they kept me comfortable all while keeping the mood light. I appreciated my experience although, I am hopeful I dont have to experience getting a tooth pulled for awhile!

The staff was terrific and made me feel welcome. They took all the embarrassment out of the process of getting dentures, and were compassionate about how sensitive this process is for me. They actually seem to LIKE their jobs, and it shows!! I drive over 3 hours to get to the Eau Claire WI location because their service and staff is worth every mile!! Thank you Aspen Dental!

I came in to do a new patient exam. When I called to set up and appointment, the lady mentioned a treatment plan. I thought okay Ill just go in and get my teeth cleaned and say no to whatever plan they are talking about, no big deal. When I arrived at my appointment, one of the first things someone said to me was about a treatment plan....again I kind of brushed it off. I ended up taking probably 15 x-rays and a 3d scan and the dentist mentions a treatment plan....okay. Then the technician takes off my bib and says okay the office manager is ready to see you. I said ummm what about getting my teeth cleaned? Oh we dont have time for that today but we can definitely schedule that for you. I talk to the office manager and she says for my plan they are recommending a deep cleaning as well as a prophylaxis cleaning and normally its $404 dollars but with my dental insurance I can get it for the low price of $202.I said I have never ever been to a dentist and not had my teeth cleaned, and I have moved all over the country going to dentists in different states. I ended up walking out. The whole experience felt like they were trying to get as much money out of me as possible. Id never go to an Aspen Dental ever again.

I have not been to a dentist that was so welcoming The girls were so politeand they tell you everything that they are doing, They take care of the patientand you dont feel like a number. I will never recommend this place to anyone. My father went in to have his wisdom teeth removed, and was not given the proper pain medication, on the way home, he went into shock from the pain, and kept passing out. When his wife tried to call their emergency number, there was no response even though it was supposedly guaranteed. He was rushed to ER where the drs and nurses were shocked at his lack of pain meds. He had terrible pain for weeks after and has had difficulty speaking because they somehow injured his tongue. When the office was informed of the situation the manager responded very arrogantly and refused to offer any compensation of any sort for the ER visit. My Dad has had to go in multiple times to get bone fragments and spurs removed since, and his tongue is continuing to be injured. All I can say is, I hope that the damage isn’t permanent, and I would advise anyone to be very careful going to this office because obviously they are more concerned with covering their own back, then treating and helping patients.

The dentist, the hygienist and the assistant were awesome. Very informative and caring. Then I had to talk to the “office manager” about the filling and cleaning I needed done. As soon as I walked in she made me feel like I wasn’t supposed to be there. Extremely awkward and not a positive experience with that aspect of the appointment. Never have I been to a dental appointment where they take you into a room to give you a quote for the work that needed done. Felt very car dealershipish.

Very helpful, respectful and determined. Being straightforward with diagnosis and not afraid to recommend what is best for the customer. My teeth were too damaged for them to personally fix but they helped me find a nice place that had the necessary tools to get my dental work started that also offered payment plans.

I would give the staff more stars for being nice, but don’t go to aspen if you just want a cleaning. I was misled multiple times(2 different calls that I requested a cleaning) while scheduling my appointment and spent an hour and a half doing exam, X-rays, etc only to be told I have to complete their treatment plan (that was not covered by my insurance) prior to getting my cleaning!! I repeatedly said I need a cleaning and that I will not be doing anything else since I only have insurance for 2 more weeks before moving out of state. I stated this multiple times and after I complained at the end they said they book cleaning appointments a month out anyway...so if they had told me that first I would never have gone here!!! I wasted an hour and a half of my life. Never going to aspen again!!

Just wanted to get a cleaning while having to be in wisconsin a few months. They said I had to get x-rays and exam first. That all went ok. Felt like I had a good dentist. All was well until it came to the office manager (code for high pressure sales person). I needed a filling but couldnt get just a basic one my insurance would cover. Seems like in a wisdom tooth it doesnt have to be pretty just fix the tooth! Dentist had okayed the basic cleaning but the hygienist had tacked on a fluoride treatment. Told them I didnt want the fluoride treatment just the basic cleaning. They didnt want to do just a basic cleaning without fluoride. Seems like if the patient declines a treatment then you shift to explaining why it would be in their best interest to have it, but if they still decline take it off. You dont tell them they have to have it! The dentist and I could have come up with a plan pretty quick. I trusted him. The high pressure sales and BS about having unnecessary fluff built in not so much. Bottom line is I cant get the treatments I need there because sales says I cant get them without all the other stuff they want to sell me. The dentist and I seemed to agree on a plan. His plan would not have been cheap but I felt it was based on sound reasoning and didnt include things I didnt need. My problems began when the high pressure sales person came into the picture and started adding things the dentist HAD NOT said I needed.Aspen dental left a message to call them. So I did. This is system wide. The whole system at aspen dental is geared to maximizing profits and disregarding patient wishes. They are of the view that they know better than you what your treatment should be and it is their ethical obligation to not allow you to get any other treatment that deviates from that because they know what is best for you. If you like the idea of letting big brother aspen make your decisions because they only have your best interest at heart then go there. If you find this attitude as disturbing and offensive as I do Aspen dental is not where you want to do business. I think their true motives are profit driven and have very little to do with helping patients. My advice is to avoid them!!!

The hygienist and the doctor were great. They kept things simple and straightforward. However, the office manager needs some tuning. She was dismissive, condescending, and plain rude.Overall, someone going here should be able have an overall ok experience. Try to steer clear of the office manager if you can. Shes truly a downfall for that office.Edit: I received more poor service upon attempting to follow up with the office to schedule a simple cleaning. They claim my ONLY option is to deal with the office manager. No. I have the option to switch dentists, and I did.

I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time so I decided to look for a new place to go. I work a lot so I had to ask off work for this appointment. Only to find out that I don’t have an appointment made. I told them that someone told me to bring my insurance card and that I’m positive it’s the right date and time, but they did not have anything on file not even my name. I asked them if they could squeeze me in as a walk-in, they told me “no and sorry”. I was disappointed/frustrated not only because I missed work but also that they couldn’t even fit me in. They don’t deserve a one star but 2 because everyone makes mistakes, it’s part of life.

I had my wisdom teeth removed and not only was the staff more than helpful with the extraction as well as helping me figure out the financial part of it, but they helped me out tremendously during the procedure to keep me calm and relaxed. Dr. Austin Peterson was amazing and so professional. He did a great job. I will return for all me dental needs because of the awesome staff that helped me. I would give more than 5 stars if that was an option!

$82 Basic Cleaning turned into $495. Scheduled a routine cleaning for my wife and me. Took x-rays and looked at our teeth but did not actually clean them. Tried to schedule another appointment for the cleaning costing $495. Had to ask what this included: apparently both my wife and I needed extra cleaning, irrigation, fluoride, cancer screening, and an electric toothbrush. After going to the dentist for over 40 years, neither of us has ever heard of needing any of this.

Felt more like a visit to a shady car mechanic then a dentist. In addition, they refused to see my pregnant wife because she refused x rays. No reason they couldnt have done a basic cleaning and then further evaluate in 6 months after pregnancy. It was like going to mechanic for an oil change and mechanic telling you he needs to have option to rebuild transmission or he wont do the oil change.Giving 2 stars instead of 1 as the people working there were nice enough. The issue is clearly some corporate BS with intent to get as much money out of patient as possible. Felt like they were working on a quota and would be reprimanded if they didnt make enough money off each patient.

These guys are awesome and truly care. I actually looked forward to coming in here each and every time. I had major bone grafting surgery as well as an implant and they made the process seamless! Also the teeth whitening service they provide I strongly recommend. Very satisfied with this Aspen Dental location. I went to a couple of other locations and didn’t get this same experience. Even if you have to drive do it. I cannot say enough about what they were able to do for me and I can feel proud about my smile! 😊 Thank you and job well done.

Pharmacist here. As a fellow health-care professional, I would not recommend this place for your dental services. I went in initially to get update X-rays and an evaluation on a tooth for a Root Canal/Crown referral, yet during my visit the dentist proceeded to lecture me about my teeth and push Invisiline on me by setting me up with a quote.After completing my root root canal with my specialist, I returned for a crown. The tooth which had the root canal done; formerly had a crown that had fallen off. When I asked to see if I could just have that crown re-cemented on instead of getting a new crown, they proceeded to tell me no because my teeth may have shifted around and the old crown may not fit. Funny thing was, after I showed them that I had brought my old crown with me, they literally cemented it and made me use it as my temporary crown until they could have my new one made and billed to me. This is a fine example of what we call unnecessary medical procedures in the world of medicine.To top this all off, I later got a bill from them stating that my insurance had rejected the claim for the crown because apparently it is a standard of care that crowns should last a minimum of 5 years from the day they are placed. Because of this, my insurance wouldnt cover any part of my crown because it was considered a replacement not a new crown. If this is a standard of practice, then why was I not informed of this by my dentist? or the other question would be why did they not try to save me, the patient money if this is something all dentists should know?...When I relayed what had happened to the facility, needles to say it fell on deaf ears. I was given the...well thats the balance that remains on the account speech and pretty much told Id have to pay.Needless to say, Im lucky I had my HSA to cover the cost, but I NEVER want this to happen to anyone else. I deal with patients all the time and I always do my best to make sure the ball doesnt drop on them so they have to eat a huge copay. Besides the gals who checked me in (who were nice), I would say that this practice is not welcoming (dentist didnt even once call me by my name or ask how I was doing that day), not patient centered, and is need of new management.Aspen Dental is NOT pharmacist recommended.

Billing department doesnt care about the patients. I received a crown and the prep build up was submitted to the insurance company wrong. Claim was didnt get approved. I received a bill from Aspen stating I owed for the whole procedure. I called my insurance company and they said all they needed was the x-rays. I called Aspen and told them that is all the insurance company needed and they said okay theyll resubmit them. The next month I received another bill, so I called Aspen and they could tell me why they didnt resubmit the x-rays yet. I then called my insurance company and they called Aspen directly and got the x-rays. After receiving my EOB, I called Aspen to make sure everything is current and they told me I wasn’t, even though I prepaid for the procedure, and they would be sending me to collection.

I would do a 5 star except that the commercials say that they offer flexible payment option when what they really do is finance out to a finance company and if youre credit isnt good you dont qualify and therefore you cannot get your dental needs taken care of.

TV ads suggest they will work with anyone who doesnt have insurance with a payment plan, which they would not in my case. I needed a tooth extracted, and they charged me upfront for a surgical removal which was not needed. After the procedure the dentist told me Id be getting money back on my credit card. I was never told by the office personnel how much that would be. I had to call the office myself to find out. In addition during the procedure, the dental assistant did not appear to know what she was doing and the dentist was barking orders at her which made my anxiety worse. Three days after the procedure I developed severe pain and throbbing in the socket; I called their Emergency after hours line and was told someone would call me back. Nobody called. Im not impressed with this place at all and will not return.

If you are unemployed or retired, this is the dental office for you. You will have lots of time to wait for service. I waited 90 minutes my first visit, 45 minute wait the second visit. The magazines in the reading room are fairly new, so I gave them one star. I will NOT go back.

I give two stars. They made an emergency appointment for me, which I appreciate very much. However, the guy brings me back for one x-ray, then quickly moved me into an office. Without talking about my situation, the young dentist sat me down and informed me that he was going to pull a wisdom tooth. Without filling out consent, doc went to work pulling my tooth so he could get a better look at what needs to be done . So now my tooth is out, after that the doc asked his helper if I had signed a consent form!! Though I did appreciate the speed, I feel actual care and comfort doesnt matter to them. I did sign the consent form and paid my bill in full. I was sent home with a pack of gauze. As a paying customer with insurance I expected a little more care or concern. They dont care or are not concerned. Places like Aspen dental is the reason I have a hard time going in at all.

I wish I could remember the gals name that cleaned my teeth. She did an excellent job and was very friendly. I gave Aspen a 4 out of 5 because I think I should have been told about the new fluoride that was being used that cost me personally an additional $41.00. (my insurance did not cover the entire amount like it used to do for the regular fluoride).

Knowing I have bad teeth and wanting dentures went had the x-rays. They look inside the mouth, was told after the top extraction would be full dentures but have 2 good teeth on the bottom they would not pull the 2 and give me partials, but I want full ,not partials. out of pocket they want over $11,000 to do what they want not what I want done. Plus wanted to change for an $135 electric tooth Bush when $11,000 later should be free still waiting on a call back to see when I can get in to get the work done I want. Just an update stillwater mn will do what I want for $3000 less for basically same thing. What want, not what they think I want

Terrible...Dont even consider Aspen Dental!I am in need of a dental implant. Implants are quite expensive, and my dentist encouraged me to check around to find the best price. I called a number of dental offices, both locally and in Minneapolis/St Paul and found that there was a significant difference in process and price. All of the offices called gave me a ballpark estimate, with the understanding that costs could be more or less based on my specific needs.I called Aspen Dental in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. They would not give me a ballpark estimate over the phone, but said they would if I made an appointment and came in for an exam. It seemed to me that this was a lot of extra bother, but I did want to check it out, so I went ahead and scheduled the appointment.Aspen told me that the 1:30 pm appointment was the best choice because it was the first one after lunch and I could count on it being on time. I printed the paperwork and did it at home, and arrived 7 minutes early for my appointment. I was told to have a seat, and they would be with me shortly. At 1:45 pm I asked if Id be called soon and was told that Id be right in. At 2:05 pm I very politely told them that I was about to leave if I didnt get in, and at 2:10 I was called in for x-rays. The technician took the panoramic x-ray and said that more were necessary. I asked how many more and she said probably 18-20 more x-rays. I said again that I only wanted an estimate for one implant and was told that all of this was necessary to give me an estimate. I said that 18-20 more x-rays was way more radiation than I wanted and that I was leaving. This time, I was rather unpleasantly told that all of this was necessary. I said, Well, that may be so, but not for me. As I was headed out of the office, one of the nurse/helper/technicians said that usually an implant costs about $4000, which is in the range of most of the estimates I was getting.I have no idea why all of this was necessary to get an estimate. I never saw a dentist, but based on the unprofessional way I was treated, I would NEVER consider Aspen Dental under any circumstances.

All the staff is courteous, they are prompt, friendly, and very helpful. They listen to your concerns and are more than willing to help in any way they can. I chose this office because of cost effectiveness and found that they are more up to date on new technology and practices. Would recommend them to anyone who needs any type of dental care. Hoping in the future they could open an office closer to my home, but they are more than worth the drive to get excellent service they give.

Aspen Dental was very professional and efficient from beginning to end. I set up an appointment online for the date and time of my choice. I then went to their office and everyone there was extremely friendly and professional. I sat for only a few minutes in the lobby and then was admitted. From the time I entered to the time I left was about 35-40 min. In that time I had x-rays, a gum exam, and the dentist exam. It was a very efficient and enjoyable visit!

You never know what to expect when you try something new out. Well, I was having extremely bad pain in one tooth the night before, I survived threw night. So the next morning I gave Aspen a shout. Not knowing what to expect, they were able to not only get me in that morning but do surgery the very same day. I was extremely surprised , not only were they very nice but also very happy with the results!! I recommend Aspen Dental to everyone. I dont even have dental insurance. They helped with a few coupons, so my bill wasnt so big. Very fortunate to have somebody help in tough times. I owe them so much.

They have a very redundant registration, multiple forms and email registration. While in the waiting room waiting for my appointment, I watching the employees do nothing but talk and horse around with each other when I was already 20 minutes past my appointment time. Then while still waiting, another person walked into the office and was ushered in before me. I was 30 mins past my appointment time. Once I finally got in, they called me by 3 different first names. None of which were mine! When finally done, they usher you to a desk and pitch a multitude of products and unnecessary procedures. It felt like a time-share pitch! To top it off, the woman that checked my teeth said goodbye with yet another wrong name. The place is like a puppy mill dental office.

Please. Everyone read: Let me start off with there is zero privacy. Everyone could hear my personal information, what the diagnosis was and the receptionist called my insurance infront of everyone. They pushed products that were not necessary.I was told that I had several cavities and that I either needed two root canals or two teeth pulled. Doctor was cold and I was treated like a number not a person.The best part was when I was informed that I had something on my tongue and it could be CANCER. So I was basically pushed out the door with that last word that I could have cancer.So I got two other opinions. No several cavities, no cancer, no need for root canals. So I saved 10k and maxing out my dental insurance.The only reason they get is one star is because the dental assistant Brittany was great. I will never return.

The dentist I saw did not diagnose a cavity despite the pain and sensitivity. I returned six months later for a cleaning and saw Dr. Kim (who my husband and I like) who found that the tooth was not salvageable due to cavities. I scheduled an extraction. (When the tooth did come out, there was extensive decay including a deep crack with a noticeable hole in the side, enough to cause the adjacent tooth to discolor. I’m shocked that the original dentist did not find these issues)When I showed up for my appointment, I found that the receptionist had entered it into a different day than what was on my appointment card and email reminders. She tried to make it right by allowing me to stay for the last appointment of the evening, just before close. That was two hours after I had been scheduled to be seen. When I did get to see the dentist, she had not been informed that it was for an extraction; the receptionist had entered it as an exam.This was not the only time I had been incorrectly scheduled.My husband needed many fillings, and was happy to work with Dr. Kim, who was sensitive to his anxiety and liberal with the nummy stuff. Our last appointment was to have several of his teeth filled in April.We paid at the counter that day, the full amount of the service according to reception.Seven months later, we received a bill for additional payment. I called to determine why we were being charged after we paid what we were told was the full amount and after seven months. I was put on hold, and then told they would call back with more information. A month later, I had not received a call. When I called back, they informed me it was due to insurance and processing times. The receptionist I spoke to said that the determination had been made that we owed additional payment two months after the service by our insurance provider, but offered no explanation as to why we didn’t receive the bill until seven months later. She – and their failure to follow up on their own – gave me the impression that due to the large corporate structure of Aspen Dental, we just fell through the cracks.I would not recommend working with Aspen Dental after our experiences.

Firstly, I got there ahead of another patient, yet I was the one who had to wait until the other patient was finished with the x-ray. Then they made me wait an additional 15 minutes while they checked with my insurance. Which I understand, but I also told them I had class. I literally was at the dentist for 2 FRACKING hours for a god damn routine x-ray and check up. If it is your first time here, I would only recommend going because they do free x-rays for new patients.

Today was my first dental experience with Aspen in Eau Claire Wisconsin. I called approximately 10 days ago and set up the appointment, I had asked if I needed any additional information and was told I was going to get an email. I got nothing for five days and finally I called prior to my appointment, a very rude receptionist (man) had told me I could find it online. Which was not that easy to find! I downloaded filled out and arrived 15 minutes prior to my 2:30 appointment today. I handed it to the receptionist and explained this was my first time. She ask me to take a seat and someone will be right with me. At 2:45 I went back to the front desk and saw my paperwork that I had handed to the receptionist was lying out in front of her computer, within easy reach of any passerby. Id ask to use the restroom. I had been waiting over 20 minutes.A nice young man with braces was my next point of contact. He didnt even ask me what I was in for that particular day! I was asked to remove my jewelry and stepped into the X-ray room. For the next 20 minutes we took x-rays.I was then lead back to a chair and he asked me some follow-up questions. I had stated to both the receptionist and him that I was only in for a cleaning. No pain! Nothing Hurt!Finally at 3:15 p.m. I met with my hygienist. She was sweet and very kind and give me positive feedback about my gums and oral health. At 3:30 p.m. I met with dr. Kim, who also stated that I had very good gums and oral health. She invited me back for some fillings.Hygienist came back after dr. Kim had left, and she said that she could get to me as far as a cleaning would go, but I would have to wait until she was done with the client that just walked in the door!Why was I there? I was there specifically to get my teeth cleaned. Why should I have to be after someone who just walked in the door! Because I had a meeting after my dentist appointment at 6, located an hour away, I opted to take my cleaning the following day.After booking my appointment for the following day, I sat down with a receptionist who confused me. I was paying for a cleaning that I didnt receive that day! Even though I was coming back the next day!Seemed very odd and backwards.Awarding 2 stars because of lack of communication, attention to detail and personal touch.

I would stay away from here at all costs.My first two appointments were pretty routine, and they were fine.The first one was a general check up, x-rays, gum checks.The second one, was the removal to my roots from a broken tooth, I had a very nice dentist who made sure it was painless. He is the only reason I give them 1 star.After that I was supposed to get my teeth cleaned before starting my fillings. Little did I know, I would never get this cleaning, as the hygienist is apperantly NEVER in.Anyway, I continued on, and went in for my first round of fillings.I had a man who could care less about my pain, or my anxiety, carelessly drill into my teeth.My teeth have never been the same since, and when I came in to tell them about it, they threw me to the side saying it “was normal for the first two weeks to have pain.”. It’s now been two months that I’ve had chronic pain in my mouth now.I also would like to note, that my cleaning appointment had been pushed back another two times, because apperantly the hygienist takes every day off.Their emergency Line is also a joke, just go to the hospital, as the doctors don’t care.

I had gone to another clinic which resulted with minor mistakes in my front teeth, and during my distress I was able to go into Aspen. They gave me a free consultation and x-rays, and confirmed the mistakes of the other clinic. I came back in to have those same teeth worked on, just a bit, and the total bill was $150. Took advantage of a promotional discount. Great service. Friendly, confident staff.

My visit to Aspen Dental was a very good one. The assistants and office personnel were friendly and informative. Dr Rana took a very close look at a problem area, and we looked at the x-ray and discussed the tooth. I felt good about our decision. I plan on scheduling a recheck in 6 months with Dr Rana.

I have never liked the dentist since I was a little girl, this is the only dentist I do not have to be sedated at you never see them coming with the needle and they numb you before they even poke you! Spam the heck out of me with E-mails, 2-3 each day. I have to call an 800 number to talk to someone in order to get them to stop sending me E-mails I never authorized them to send me in the first place.They told me it was for appointment reminders only and I specifically stated I did not want marketing E-mails.They tried to sell me all kinds of different products within 15 minutes of me walking in the door. Not once did they ask what I wanted or what I thought.When I tired to leave without scheduling another appointment, they all but stood in my way to prevent me from walking out and even started to question my judgment and embarrass me for not doing what they wanted.This place reminds me of a used card dealer.I do not know where to tell you to go but here is not it.Stay away.

The dentist misled me as to what I needed concerning implants to keep upper arch secure then when I went back for issues with my bottom denture l was told I needed to have implants to keep bottom secure. Totally scammed only interested in corporate profits $4800 and still cant eat

Normally would have been 5 stars but I just wanted my teeth cleaned this time. No xrays because of money. I said I would do them next time. I was told I had to do them that day. They are required by law to do them once a year. They had to run it by the manager! I felt like I was being sent to the principals office..... I was in tears with all the mess. I just wanted to leave...my teeth were clean.... didnt want xrays that day. She finally came back with a waiver to sign saying I was refusing treatment!! I felt bullied into getting the xrays. And of course, my teeth were fine. I knew that!!! First time Ive had a problem with them. I may give them another chance but gotta get over being mad. Then, when I was in the store after my cleaning, I noticed something in my hair. There was a glob of tooth polish in my hair! UGH!!! People are human.... so am I. But gonna be more assertive next time I go and give them another chance to make it right.
