*kiss nails did not do my gems or polish, just the tip and acrylic* There was a very pleasant atmosphere between the workers in the shop and my tech was very kind. I went for just acrylic extensions, no polish because I wanted to do the gel and add gems at home. I didn’t get to have the nails of my desired length because their extensions are curved and I don’t personally like that, but that is personal preference and there’s nothing wrong with it! My tech was very quick with her hands but she made sure she was thorough and precise, not rushing.I did notice that my tech didn’t push or trim my cuticles which can be problematic for lifting.I also noticed two small hygienic issues - the sanding band that she used was definitely used on someone else before me as it was worn down. Also, the towel under my hands smelled like it needed a wash. Using a fresh sanding band is important for hygiene and my beds are a little itchy, I’m just hoping that it goes away and doesn’t get any worse.Pricing was reasonable, I overall had a pleasant experience.

Amazing staff and high quality nail services. Ive been going here for the last 10+ years. Moved out of state for a few years and so happy to be back to have Kiss Nails in my life again because nothing was comparable!

Enough staff that you dont have a long wait but also arent rushed. So many nail color options and they after they color one nail, they ask if you like the color on you; if not you can change and theyll help with a recommendation. Very affordable, nice staff.

My friend and I got our nails nails done there, and they are beautiful! The staff is so friendly and the place is nice and clean.

I was excited to get my nails done with my friend for her birthday and the 4th. Unfortunately the nails didn’t survive the weekend. I got a full acrylic set on Friday night, after only 3 hours (after they were closed or I would have called) two of the nails bent in half. Now it’s Tuesday and I have no nails left (more broke so I just cut the rest down so they couldn’t break also). I called the salon today to ask if I could get a partial refund because I’m not happy about paying and having two break the same day. She told me that she would have the owner call, but that he doesn’t give refunds and my only option was to go back and have them redone.Note: my friend was also not impressed with her nails, but luckily they aren’t nearly as bad. I’m not one to complain, or even ask for a refund. But I’m highly disappointed and won’t be going back.

I didnt walk out of the salon, I floated. Is there a better feeling than having your four most used body parts receive the most welcome attention. The appendages look great but hands and feet feel great. The massages.... {{{sigh}}} ,,,, heaven. Aches and stiffness of which I wasnt aware, were gone.

I’ve gone there many times and it depends who you get, i had this one woman, who is typically rude and sarcastic, do my nails and they were so poorly shaped and thick. don’t spend the money it’s not worth it. i realized that after going to others salons in the state.

I love going to Kiss Nails. The staff is attentive and considerate, and my nails are always done with above average quality. I never feel like they’re trying to rush to get through my nails and the price for the quality cannot be beat in the area

I thought they were polite, did a good massage, and willing to squeeze me in but my shellac / gel manicure lasted 3 days. The paint was on my cuticles when I left and blotchy and uneven color. No clean line so it quickly peele completely off sadly.

I don’t usually go to nail salons because they rush and don’t care about you. I happen to go to this nail salon because the girl who usually does it was out. The man who did my nails rushed and was rough when doing my nails and didn’t apologize once for it. When I asked for acrylic, the man who is doing my nails says no no you should get gel. I declined and they put mma on my nails.. how do i know?? I went to my original nail lady and she explained to me my nails was so difficult coming off because they used mma which is dangerous for your nails and used to fill in teeth! So ladies if you care about yourself please go elsewhere !!!!!

Very clean and sanitize. Everyone wore a mask they kept customers at a safe distance.It was long overdue and wish I would not have waited. It was very comfortable and he did a great job.This is my first outdoor experience around people I don’t know and again felt very comfortable.Don’t hesitate to feel great again.

Had mani pedi with a friend at Kiss Nails. It was nice experience during COVID and was my first pedicure since last April. They are spaced out and everyone wears masks and they clean the areas between clients. Go treat yourself. 💅 😃

Booked an appt 2 days prior for 9am. I scheduled a basic pedicure and a shellac manicure. As a busy mom, I need to have set and on time appts and I was able to get an amazing pedicure and full shellac manicure in and out under 1 hour. I highly recommend Kiss Nails in Lansing MI. It is so hard to find a nail technician that provides great service and genuinely cares about the overall health of your nails. I was devastated when I learned that Michelle was no longer at this shop. However, I was able to locate Michelle Pham after searching for almost two weeks. I came to Kiss Nails last week for a gel mani. 2 days after my appointment, the skin around my thumb cuticle swells up and I have a nail infection. Don’t go here because they don’t disinfect their tools properly. I had to go to the doctor and pay for antibiotics and get my infection drained because of them

10 months ago, I left a 5 star review. Today, I was asked to reschedule after I had made an appointment. I was the first to check in and was the only one asked to reschedule. I’ve been going to kiss nails for 12 years. Never again.Edit: I was texted a couple hours later informing that the others clients had appointments with specific technicians. Therefore, I was penalized for being flexible and not specifying a tech. They did offer a discount if I rescheduled, but I worked my day around the appointment. I will not be visiting kiss nails again.

I had an appointment at another salon and they forgot so I came here hoping they could fit me in. They did! The staff is super friendly and very professional. They used cleaning techniques I had never seen before. I had a wonderful experience and will most definitely be back! I highly recommend this place!

Updated review to say I still love this place. I come monthly, and I usually set an appt but have done a walk in my mother as well. They are nice and professional and do good work. You can make appts online or call for same day. I would recommend checking it out.

I have been going to this salon for over 7 years now. I have always had wonderful service and they do great work! I have tried a few other Lansing area salons that are closer to my home, but haven’t been nearly as happy with anyone else, so I keep coming back to Kiss! Highly recommend.

Appointments can be made and the staff are wonderful in that they are on time and so nice! My daughter came for a pedicure and manicure with me and the nail tech was so good with her, even offered to paint flowers on her big toes and thumbs, which made her so happy. Phenomenal! I stopped in for a waxing and ended up with the deluxe package deal. Waxing, nails and massage. I highly recommend! Friendly and knowledgeable staff enhanced the experience immensely! Will definitely be back.

I absolutely love coming here. They always do a great job and have me leaving happier than I walked in. They fit me in when I need to get my nails done last minute and are always really thoughtful and kind no matter the circumstance.

Decided to try this place out as i was looking for something closer to campus and was extremely disappointed. They were the worst acrylics I have ever had. The tips were slanted, the nails were all different lengths, my coffin shape is so wide that its basically just a square, the nails are extremely thick, and I had gel polish all over my nail bed. I had a full set done on Thursday and they were already lifting and one fell off on Monday. Not worth it, will not be going back.

They were able to fit me in when trying to do my own nails turned out disastrous! They did a fabulous job!

I had Jennifer she was phenomenal. Me and my friend have been getting pedicures for decades together past decade weve brought her kids. Hands down best place! Pedicures look great, they acted like they loved having the kids there; even did a full pedicure on her daughter with all the best extras on her(normally places skimp on kids). I wish I could give more stars this will be my normal place!

First time ever getting a pedi I took my 5 and 2 year old daughters my 5 year old niece and friend of mine and it was amazing. I just went again today with only my two daughters and my little sister and again felt welcome. They are all so sweet. Cannot wait for my fill!!!!

Most of the ladies that work here are great, but I went to get my nails done for my wedding this weekend and Lynn did not do a good job (and was not apologetic at all). She caused two of my cuticles to bleed and they would not stop throughout the manicure (the blood was dripping off of my nail). She kept trying to cut the rest of my cuticles so I stopped the manicure halfway through. She was rude and didnt seem to care she messed up my nails for my wedding. My nails are currently swollen and painful. I would recommend asking for a different manicurist if you go here.

Charged $50 for a dip nail with french manicure. You can see my real nails underneath because they didn’t do it thick enough. Also made my thumbnail bleed. When I asked her to fix it she got sassy and didn’t even actually fix it. Customers assume you are going to cover the real nail, we shouldn’t have to specifically ask for that. Me and my friend were the only people in the salon but they wouldn’t let us sit next to eacother and made us sit on opposite sides of the salon.

Best nail salon in the Mid-Michigan area. The entire staff is a group of professional, talented women who work hard to make their customers happy. Ive been going there for years and they helped cure my psoriatic nails!

Came in for a fill-in w/ shellac, which you would think is simple and easy to do without any terrible mistakes. WRONG. Im not sure about the rest of them but the older lady can not shape or polish for nothing. I asked for a slight cut down, so she said she would file it down, she did not file it down at all. If anything she just shape it but failed at that too. The shaping was terrible, she literally did one stroke of filing for each nail and then I guess called it quits. I dont even know how you mess up polishing with shellac but she did. The coats were uneven and showed streaks. And then after applying the top coat she did a half job so there were streaks on nails that didnt get covered w/ the top coat making my nail very bumpy and have like tiny holes from it missing the top coat. It was just terrible, and then I still got charged five dollars for a cut down on top of her terrible work. If she cant do a simple fill-in, I wouldnt even trust her with a full set. If your looking to get your nails perfected and nice looking, do not go here. I usually go to Star Nails and they always slay my nails, but were closed that day. I shouldve just waited for it to open the following day, because this was a waste of time and money. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!

Unfortunately I have to update my review. Since ownership changed they have girls that are NOT licensed to do nails or waxing. I am very disappointed I use to love this place. It is not as neat and clean as it use to be either. I’m very sad and will be going elsewhere for waxing and nails.

I would never reccomend going here. They severely damaged my nails and I cant help but think this is because they were rushing through my full set so they could get to the next customer.The nails were incredibly thick and poorly done- atleast 2mm thick if not more. The shape overall was weird and was bulbous at the nail edge. I told them this was my first time getting a full set and I showed them a picture of what I wanted. They didnt clearly communicate or ask me any questions so I just went along with it thinking an experienced technician would know best. In the end my friends who have had acrylics before were all appauled at the quality of my nails.Edit:I had to soak each nail in 100% acetone for at least 1-2 hours per nail to remove the acrylics. There is a visible line indentation on my nails from where the acrylic was left behind. Later research indicates these were burnlines/the ring of fire. Meaning she drastically over filed my nails. This can cause permanent damage to the nail matrix center where nail growth occurs. Not worth the price, quality was poor, and service was utterly below average. Cant justify more than one star.

I have been visiting this salon for a couple years now, and have always had great service. The hours are reasonable, prices are fair and my shellac is top notch - especially considering my ridged and thin nails are a challenge. The nail techs are friendly, careful and thorough. Even though Ive never had one, they always check my (toe & finger) nails for any sign of infection or pain. They also do a great job with repairs. If I break a nail too far down to cut I can stop in and they will fix it so It doesnt look awful while it grows out (magic!). Evenings can get busy, so I recomend visiting in the morning or afternoon if you can - although Ive never had to wait very long. Love this place!

Love this place! They do the best french tip shellac manicure around. They do a double coat and actually paint the tip. Theyre so sweet and talkative, too.

Paid 70 (including tip) for a mani/pedi with shellac on the mani. The nail tech didn’t do a great job cleaning and buffing my nails which is important for me because I have oily nail beds which leads to fast chipping if not done properly. She also filed my nails after the shellac process (?!) thus breaking the gel seal and my nails began chipping after 3 days because of this. $70 for 3 days of wear? No thank you, I won’t be returning. Additionally, she didn’t do a clear gel top coat on one of my hands and I did it myself when I got home with regular polish 🙄. Super unimpressed. Techs clearly don’t understand how shellac works. The place also feels dirty and run down.

Generally I see Michelle and she does a great job but I had a diffret person. I bought a fill with shelac and a shape. The fill was fine but the shape was off, the polish color was uneven, the polish didnt cover my whole nail, and they couldnt do any design. Worst experience Ive had there.

Second time there today with my favorite daughter & favorite Gdaughter they loved the staff.. very friendly 🙂

After years of being an avid customer, I got a powder set removed and it was the worst experience. Less than 5 minutes was spent popping them off in order to move on to the next customer. I came in with a healthy nail bed and left with hang nails and a bleeding finger.
