They did an amazing job on my nails today! I am extremely happy with my nail art. The two ladies that helped me and my daughter today are so kind and patient.

Made an appointment for 6pm. Then showed up at 6 only for them to not get to me until 7. The lady who did my nails was on her phone the whole time and ended up cutting my nails too short and not giving me the shape I asked for. Overall, very unprofessional and poor quality. Will not be going back.

I dont usually do this. But I work hard for my money and Im tired of experimenting with East Lansing nail salons just for their best efforts. I went to this salon a few days ago with a reference picture of how I wanted my nails to look. The polish she put on was way thinner than the picture. The work she was doing looked as if I could do a better job myself with a few bottles of nail polish from Rite Aid. Knowing that if I didnt speak up I would be paying for a job I wasnt satisfied with I politely asked if we could switch to something different. I pulled up a new picture of a pink tone French tip with glitter on the tips...simple... she then proceeded to put on two pink tones all over my nail and brushed glitter on the tips. Which looks NOTHING Like the picture I showed her. She charge me $45 and because she provided a service I tipped her.Also this is not my first time at the shop. If you look at the pictures posted by the salon my nails are the pink white and silver nails. You may think they look fine in the picture but as the person who had to walk around with those nails the lack of cleanliness of their lines plus how crooked the nails were was the reason I havent been back in years.If you want a basic shape and color that you could get from any nail salon I recommend going to any salon. However if you would like clean designs or a trendy style this is not the place I recommend you give your money to. Trust me you will be disappointed.

Honestly very rude not friendly at all. As well as over priced nails. I paid 40$ for a short set which is unacceptable and 25$ just to get my toes painted. Yet I pay the exact same for a long set and to add a toe to my my big toe. That makes no sense to me be I will not be returning

Where do I begin? I absolutely love Beautiful Nails. I walked in one day on a whim to get my eyebrows done. That was over two and a half years ago and I will never let anyone but Nancy do my eyebrows ever again. I was also getting regular manicures and the occasional pedicure up until COVID-19 hit. I miss the salon and everyone there. I tell everyone who will listen about how wonderful this place is, and several of my friends are now regulars as well. I can not recommend this place enough!

My nails always look great and they really pay attention to detail. Plus theres a student discount!

This was place was great and super friendly. I got a dip set and the owner was very informative in helping me decide on the service I wanted. I even got a holiday gift for coming in that day it was super sweet and thoughtful. My nails look great. Ill be going here from now.

I live in Portland and drive there to get my nails done. Nancy and Jamie owned the salon in Portland for a while. We followed them when they moved because they do great work and they are amazing people! I highly recommend anyone to visit their salon. You will NOT be disappointed!

Cant wait to go back! Easy to find, super clean bright and welcoming and they gave me exacly what I wanted with my nails. Just the right amount of busy on a Friday night, I had no wait but it wasn’t empty at all. TVs perfectly placed.

I drive a couple hours just to get my nails done here. No other place compares to the quality work they do. I am a nail bitter so my nails are next to nothing and yet the full set stays for weeks. They do pile on the gel to get them to stay but the nails come out even. If you have sensitive skin like me be watchful....they can get a little rough on removal and filing.

I got my nails here about a month ago and i paid 20 for take off dip with tips and put on dip clear no colors and no tips. Loved it and so i came back again clear dip no color no tips added. She removed the old clear dip put on new clear dip and i got charged 40 dollars. No color no extra work was not even a need to fully remove the old dip. My friend got 2 full nails replaced with tips, fill and color gel with a design and paid 47 with a tip....i am beyond upset as to why i walked away feeling ripped off and paid 40 for a 20 dollar job. I will never return there for any work and will never recommend this place to anyone. Work was wonderful and had i got color or a design yes price would have been worth it but for less then 20 minutes of work and no color no deigns no tips just 2 coats of clear dip paying 40 dollars is a rip off. Please explain why i paid 40 for clear 2 coat of dip and my friend paid 37 for acrylic fill and 2 new nails with tip and design....and yes you can because i did at your shop less then a month ago.

There was one guy there that was very nice, I had gotten almond shaped nails (gel) and they just popped off 4 days later. The guy who did my feet were very nice, but the gal who did my nails it was really hard to understand her and she was very rough I recommend that you only get pedicures here.

The nail lady broke the color I picked for my nailed and toes. This was after my toes were all ready paint. Since she didnt have the same regular color, she was going to put shellac color on my nails. I asked her if she was going to charge me the more money, and she said yes since it was shellac, I told her that I didnt ask for that, and even though she didnt brake the other nail color on purpose, I dont feel that I should be charged the extra money. She was going to go behind my back paint my nails and charge me a higher price without talking to me about it first. Her and I had some words, and I walked out of there with different colors on my nails and toes. I will not go back there. And dont recommend this place!

Unless theyre busy, I have had great service. Better to visit when there isnt a wait so you wont get a rush job or a tired out job. Morning is best

Love this place. The workers are friendly especially Nancy, Jamie, and jeannie. They do a great job everytime I go in for a mani/pedicure. I got my feet done by Jeannie and she was great, gentle and took her time. Nancy did a great job on my nails when I went in for an ombre nails. She was fast and efficient. The nails lasted me for a long time. Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I have never been disappointed getting my nails done here! Nancy and Jamie are great people!

I had originally had an appointment at a different nail salon but the nail artists never showed up for my appointment. (while I was on a time crunch) So I called Beautiful Nails and they got me in right away(before they opened) and did my full set so quickly and flawlessly! I definitely recommend this place!

A little hard to understand the woman who did my feet. Albeit until I realized they speak my native language. But they still were friendly while removing my calluses.

The only place I will let touch my hands or feet. Amazing service and great pricing.

I went in today to get prepurchased false nails applied. Ive gotten this service done before (with mani) and paid $15 Plus tip. Today the manicurist - with my debit card in hand- told me the cost was $25 and naturally I asked what was paying for. I repeatedly asked the pricing for my services and even asked for an itemized receipt. The staff vehemently ignored my requests stating they dont do things for free and I could get the nails taken off. I explained that I just wanted to know what i was paying for. The manicurist then walked around the counter to shut the front door and eventually WALKED AWAY from me after swiping my card for $20 total. Each of the 3 manicurists then turned their backs to me and continued to ignore me. After years of patronizing this business I feel entirely disrespected and moreover disappointed. Ill be taking my dollars and referrals elsewhere.--Moreover given the recent coverage of nail techs attacking Black women for being dissatisfied with services, I felt threatened when the manicurist walked behind me to shut the front door. This experience was so telling of how they value customers and transparency in the price of services.

They over price their services a lot and are the only nail place I know to charge you more for getting your nails shaped. Also when I went to get my full set they were very rough shaping my nail. I don’t recommend spending your money here they do a good job but so do a lot of other places for cheaper.

Nice staff, but they cut my finger and didnt apologize. Doesnt have as many colors as other salons.

Received shellac because it’s suppose to not chip however after a week, my nails are severely chipped. My polish can literally be peeled off.

I go there regularly, the staff is pleasant & I have never had an issue.

They have messed up my nails really bad, I have lines on my nails and they go deep into my skin Im still waiting til they grow out cause I still feel the pain. Worst service ever, horrible horrible job. I will never go back to them again.

I got a pedicure and a shellac mani, and I would say that this salon is below sub par. My nails are not filed even, and while that is my fault for not noticing and complaining, I believe that should be something that is done perfectly without asking. My nails are not that noticeably uneven but my toes are definitely, and should have been filed much shorter. I will say though that they tried to use a MOTORIZED DREMEL on my RAW nails which is completely unacceptable and extremely dangerous. I even asked the woman if they are only supposed to use a regular file and she agreed and only stopped after I asked. The two girls sitting next to me had a dremel used on their bare nails as well. I could tell that their files and buffers they were using had been used previously which is also unacceptable for a salon. The shellac french that I got is okay but I can tell that because they used a file AFTER all the polish had set, that it is not going to last very long. The massages they gave were pretty good, and I love the scrub they used on my legs but overall I will not be going back.
