1st timer...Food was good but no comment on customer service. I went in there was a sign wait to be seated. Waited for 5 min and then went to the window guess that was my mistake. I placed my order, gentleman didnt ask if for here or to go. He rung me up and gave me my receipt. I asked to sit a table, he told me I can sit on the bench. So I took my food and ate in my car. The grease is everywhere. Fridays I enjoy getting out of the office and have a nice lunch. Will not go back.

Finally a place that actually delivers on the promise of NY style pizza. The menu is amazing and every thing I’ve ordered this far has been amazing. Chicken parm, pizza slices, Greek salad, garlic knots…I can not have pizza if it’s not from here. Also, customer service is great. Kind and friendly, tentative but not annoying. Id highly recommend this place especially if your from New Jersey or NY like me. This place won’t let you down.

Nice place. Traditional Italian dishes but I think its owned by Korean people. Not that it matters but the noodles tasted a little lo mein rather than traditional al dente Italian. Still great, well come back. I like the spicy meatballs and the NY steak pasta.

We needed a snack before going to a concert at Atlanta Symphony so we stopped here. This was our first time here we parked next to the location so a short walk and Vinnys validated our parking. Pizza was good liked by all in my family of 4 but for me if I had more time I would drive to Fellinis.

Absolutely terrible. Staff knew nothing. Food cheapen and wrong n smaller sizes for more money. Old owner gone n shows last 2 visit (kept it quiet for over a yr). Started great a few months ago but now just disgusting. Been going there 16 yrs n tonight sealed it. You do not cheapen the quality and the portions and then charge more; n smile as if all is right. Plus cannot keep staff- last few times all new from mgr. down. If not for Luis, who is excellent and who has been there forever, this place would be a 0-; tonight I give it 0. Now the pizza crust- where the hell was it. So thin and not even crispy; they do not know what crispy is; but so then that the cheese soak through as the crust. Just grease. Do not even ask me how you mess up spaghetti with meat balls n meat sauce...

This restaurant after years and years of being owned by John and Vincent was sold several years back. But years back. I had a terrible experience the other night brought in a young lady and had dinner for 2 we ordered 3 entrees, a salad,a large pizza we were the only table in there at 435 oclock in the afternoon so the server had plenty of time to Give us plenty of attention and did not. the food was terrible and when I complained and asked for the manager I was lied to and told to follow up for the gym. I did When I spoke to the GM he cleaned my clock and was abusive to me over the phone. I asked who the owners were and was told they would not give me that information. Someone who I believe finally was the GM called me up and was abusive would not I got a phone call today from a woman with a Korean accent probably miss park who I asked who she was and what her title was told me that she worked for Vinnys and she was Vinnys girlfriend this is a happily married man with children! I told her that she was a liar and I wanted to speak to the owners.. I literally had to go online and find the local licensing bureau for gourmet county to find out that the CEO is someone named miss park and that the owner is listed as someone named. Dong Lee. Korean Italian food you gotta love it! I wont be back in again and I am considering filing a lawsuit lawsuit against them not only for the terrible meal but the abuse after the fact! Spends your money somewhere else do not ever go into this restaurant you will regret it!. PS. The server took my favorite dish my chicken marcella away from the table we had 2 food on the table next to us an hours away from the table unbeknowns to be and when I asked where he took it he took it back out of the garbage plates in the kitchen to give it back to me. Absolutely incredible this place should be shut down!

We went here with some friends from church and my goodness the pizza was DELICIOUS! We absolutely loved it. My husband is a chef and we both enjoyed the pizza. This is the first place weve had good pizza since we moved here. Our server was also very good. He kept our sweet tea refilled and was very polite. What a great experience!! Will be back again 😊

Vinny’s is the greatest thing in the Duluth area. All of the employees are friendly, loving, and treat you like they know you. We’ve had the pleasure of having Luis tend to our table and he is out of this world amazing! He made our experience top notch and led us in the best direction when it came to wine and food. The decor is beautiful and it’s all around a wonderful dining experience. The food is impeccable and I’m never going anywhere else when it comes to Italian food. They treat everyone with respect, you’ll fall in love every time.

My family and I tried Vinnies for the 1st time today. We ordered a variety of things stramboli, cheese pizza, calamari and shrimp in cream caper sauce, fries, garlic knots and tiramisu. All of the food was amazing. The Stromboli with pomodora sauce the greatest thing. Im eating the tiramisu as Im writing this and it is so delicious. Thank you Vinnys, we will be back again soon.

Definitely a great place to have a pizza! The garlic rolls they have brought were great along with veggie pizza which we ordered. Fresh toppings with good taste. Server was super friendly and accommodated requests like a charm! Restrooms were clean and place is located in a nice neighborhood. Going back for sure.

Soup was great but i was little disappointed with pizza but over all food was great.. i loved soup and next time will try pasta dish.. i loved their food and i guess i will go next time as well as recommend to anyone

This will be a somewhat strange review given the food was good however we had a situation where we were a large party and our server needed assistance so another waitress offered to assist and did a fantastic job for us. The manager on duty confronted the waitress for helping our waiter and when our wifes talked to him he got confrontational and was yelling and flailing his arms and basically forgot that we were the customers. The group left upset and have crossed this restaurant off our list. Its a shame but bad management is going to ruin this place!

When I tell you this AUTHENTIC, Italian pizza is absolutely hands down the best. Im from upstate New York pizza galore where pizza is everywhere, but when I taste Vinnys Pizza OMG!! This pizza so good that you want share with the kids. Hot, cheese running and just damn good. I reccomend anyone that loves pizza the way that I do. This is your place.

I have been a customer for over 12 years . It was a family owned business but no more . New owner wants to move away from the older customers that have kept the business going for years . Wants to cater to a younger diverse crowd . That is the new owner’s vision and hope it works out for him . Service and quality have declined .

Good food and atmosphere. The service was good, but not attentive to our drinks. The menu is vast and everyone enjoyed their meal. Very ample portions. Vinny’s is a great place for dining with tables full of people in conversations. They’re also great for take out and delivery.

It was so yummy and the service was superb Luis was so helpful and went above and beyond. The meatballs are great not to mention the garlic knots. We will def be back. Great spot for any New Yorker

Pizza lacks complexity, needs more flavor, my cheese pizza should not taste exactly like my pepperoni and back olive!! Pretty decent though. 6/10

I really liked this pizza. Good crispy crust with a slight NY flop. Crust to sauce, cheese and topping ratio was pretty good. And they bring garlic rolls, free of charge, to the table, only no dipping sauce. They are good but, I love to dip mine in marinara. Not bad for a NY slice in a Georgia strip mall. After one bite, everybody knows the rules, I give it a 7.2. Thats the review.

This a go to for our family on Friday nights. Favorites are the White Pizza, Chicken Piccata and Eggplant Parm. Weve been doing pickup during COVID and cant wait to get back to dining in. Great family-run business!

I love eating at Vinnys N.Y. Pizza & Grill - Duluth. The food is excellent and authentic! The staff is very friendly and professional. They go out their way to make sure you have everything you need. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant.

I came here with my fiancé we were seated right away, the waitress came took our drink orders. We asked about the garlic knots and she goes “oh the host was supposed to get them for you but it’s okay, here you go.” We then proceed to order our pizza. As the menu shows “large 15.25 I think and under neither were different types. Well we ordered a large ate , got the receipt & it shows the pizza being $26! I don’t recommend coming here as imo not worth the $33 for two drinks and a large pizza, plus the waitress was super out of it!

Ordered food through Uber eats and the driver completely blamed the restaurant. When I called and asked to speak to a manager I was hung up on now the line is busy. I’m sure they unplugged the phones.. I will not be back.

Food was definitely good. 5 stars even tho they messed up an order. We ordered a Large meat lovers and the 12 garlic knots but when we got home, we only got 6. (We paid for the 12). I called them and they ended up giving us a full refund for them. So they deserve a 5 even for that error. Plus they were busy that night. It was a pickup order and the lady up front was very nice.

I really like the food... But every time I order for delivery it is over 1/2 late and slightly warm. Every time. Ive told the delivery people about it and just get smiles. So if you want good food, go there. If you want late almost cold food, order online.

I stopped by on my travels at this restaurant which was open for dine in after the lock down was lifted in Georgia and had a very good experience. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and was extremely clean inside and out. I ordered a cheese pizza and garden salad which were both good. The pizza had good flavor with a nice sauce and ample cheese. The crust was typical NY style with a medium build and was slightly chewy and the pie was baked perfect. The salad was fresh, but the olives and croutons could be improved a bit. The Italian vinaigrette was very good and had a lot of flavor which allows you to use less dressing. The garlic bread is simply fantastic with fresh garlic butter. They were chewy and very tasty and by far some of the best garlic bread Ive ever had. I also ordered some lasagna to go, but have not yet tried it as it was purchased for a later meal. The drinks were okay, the ice tea was on the weak side, but not horrible. Elsa, who was our server was very good. She brought the food out in order and the timing was extremely efficient which allowed time between drinks, salad and the entree. She was very polite and came and checked up during each part of the meal without being intrusive which is a sign of any good server.Pricing was average given the quality of the food and if youre in Duluth GA desiring Italian cuisine then Vinnys is definitely worth checking out.

I would have rated Vinny’s with 5 stars however they have switched ownership at least 2 times since last year and the customer service, and quality has seem to go down. Even the cook was rude to me when I asked them to remake a salad. Not only rude but the cook made my salad with his bare hands and no gloves. We are still In the middle of a pandemic and I believe that safety should still be first masks and gloves should be a requirement. The cook instead got made dumped the old salad in the trash can put on gloves and did this all while starting at me to intimidate me. I refuse to eat their again with such lack of service and quality of food. Such a shame to see a family owned company now being trashed.

Definitely gone down hill over the years. I heard they changed ownership(?) Dont quote me on that but maybe thats why its not as good anymore? I understand with COVID, its hard to get ingredients and hire staff but I gave them 5 chances and all 5 times the food was not good plus a long wait. Will give them a try after COVID.

Vinnys no longer has a lunch menu, just 2 soggy pieces of pizza and a very small salad for $10 (no toppings on the pizza unless you pay $1 per topping). My friend didnt want pizza so she had to order dinner for lunch, $18 for lunch (good luck Vinnys). The lunch menu is the dinner menu!! Their famous garlic rolls were as hard as rocks! There must be new owners, the service was awful and so was the pizza!!! Please save your money, there are plenty of good Italian restaurants in the Duluth / Suwanee area. I will never go back!

On 11/20/2020 I decided to treat my family Vinnys pizza. I called Vinnys to place an order 30 mins in advance because I know they get busy in the weekend. When I got there I paid for my pizza. 20 more mins went by and I was still waiting. Thats when I heard chef Luis arguing with the cashier (girl with curly hair) they were arguing about who gave away my pizza. Its extremely inappropriate to have these arguments in front of all the customers. Nobody communicated the mistake to me and I decided to get a refund and leave. Ill definitely think twice about coming back. The food is good but the staff is a drag. Last thing I want after a long day at work is to have to deal with a staff that cant work well together or communicate with customers. I was looking forward to this pizza however, I felt like nobody cared and decided to take my business elsewhere.

The well done pepperoni pizzas we ordered were delicious and takes like back home in NYC. My garlic knots order had no actual chopped garlic and were swimming this yellow imitation garlic flavored oil which was disappointing. I will return for the pizza but I’ll skip the knots.

This is truly one of Atlantas Best Spots... and one of our Family Favorites! Service is always great, pizza is absolutely amazing, and those garlic rolls!!!!! Definitely has the Family Owner feel. Its a must go and a regular place to go!

Beware, this place has gone down hill - fast! Please review their state inspection reports before you eat here. They are careless, and reckless with cleanliness. I have ordered a few times in person and via rideshare apps and every experience is pretty poor. Sending utensils aren’t a thing unless made know and I make it known my last order isn’t so good but I won’t bother with the visual details. I just have advice when you order from here really make sure you get what you are paying for. The youngsters there aren’t really paying attention and could careless. As a New Yorker, this isn’t cool.

Wheres the service? I placed an online order using their Vinnys App at 2:35 pm and was informed it would be ready at 3:00 pm. I arrived at 3:00 and it was told by the cashier, who looked like shed just seen a ghost, it would be ready in 5 minutes. 5 minutes passed, then 10 minutes, then 20 minutes. The pizza was finally ready for pick up at 3:30 pm, approximately 1 hour after the initial order was made. When the manager Sophi, was asked the reason for the delay, she came up empty and said she just arrived at 3:00 pm. Javier, the pizza chef, explained that another employee had quit and he never received my order. No apologies, no attempt to make up for my inconvenience as I waited for the order to be prepared. No check up while I waited. You would need a chainsaws to cut the tension in that kitchen. I ordered from Vinnys because I wanted to support local business during the Pandemic. This experience has me extremely disappointed and searching elsewhere to spend my time and money.

I usually don’t do reviews however I am extremely disappointed in the service from this place . I ordered my pizza at 8:09 pm and my email stated my pizza would arrive at 8:45 I called at 8:49 and was told that the driver was on the way . At 9:06 I missed a call and called back at 9:07pm and was told the driver needed the gate code which I provided. Basically they closed at 9pm never heard anything back and did not receive my pizza .however I was charged . Needless to say this was my first time trying this place and since I never got the food I can’t give a review on that but I will never know because I will never call them again .

We have been to this restaurant for lunch several times. When we first started going a couple of years ago, they had several lunch specials, now the only lunch special is 2 slices and a side salad. If there are more- there’s no way to know. We always have to ask if they still have a lunch special because they aren’t advertised that we have seen. Today, my friend and I wanted to get a 2 slice with a salad special and add another side salad. That way we could each have one slice and a salad.They told us they didn’t like to do that and would charge us $3.00 extra for sharing. We had done this before and they had never charged extra. I’m still trying to figure out why the extra charge was for- it wasn’t anymore food- as a matter of fact, he failed to ever bring us the “famous” garlic rolls. So he saved the $3.00 in rolls I guess. He did agree not to charge us the $3.00 THIS time but he would next time. In the end- it still cost us almost $17 before tip. And I got water to drink. Seems like we probably could have gotten 2 specials for that amount. Oh well, live and learn, probably won’t be back.

Picked up a small pizza with the works yesterday. It was my first time. The service was good but the pizza was ok. Not enough cheese on the pizza. The pepperoni was cooked in the pizza but the other toppings were not fresh and seemed to be thrown on top.

Love this little local spot in Duluth! Everything is cooked to order and fresh. Very affordable for your pockets too.

The garlic rolls are out of this world and they have very good pizza. I was very impressed by the service here. I recently had a leg injury and ordered take-out. Their staff went out their way to be helpful. They have a very reasonable lunch special here as well.

Im from Brooklyn but have been in the South for 30 years. This is the closest I have found to New York pizza. It drips oil, folds easily, and has great cheese and crust. If you are an ex new Yorker like myself, its worth The Visit. It takes me 25 minutes to get there but its well worth it.

I ordered a pizza last night. I paid $38.85 for a 16 pizza that was HORRIBLE! That includes a $5.99 delivery fee and an 18% tip. After I placed the order, I immediately got an email from Grub Hub telling me how much I would have saved if I had ordered through them. I was happy to overpay for a superior pizza and superior service. Right after I placed the order, I called the restaurant (which is right around the corner) to tell them the gate code since there was no place to include that. I didnt want a cold pizza. They estimated the delivery to be about 50 minutes out when I placed it. When it had been 65 minutes, I called the restaurant again to see where my pizza was. When it finally arrived, it was STONE COLD!!! The pizza was greasy and the crust was like cardboard. I have had better frozen bake at home pizzas. Horrible pizza and awful service. This was to be delivered at 7:00 pm on a Wednesday night so I cant imagine what excuse there would be for me to get a stone cold pizza. I had not eaten there for a while so obviously the quality had slipped but the ratings were still good. I never take the time to write a review. Hopefully this review will give someone else the heads up to not pay top dollar for the absolute worst quality and service.

Super good. Super busy, super polite and extremely kind staff. Worth every penny. Be mindful of takeout being greasy, could stain your clothes or car.

Vinny’s is great. Location looks simple on the outside. However, the thin crust NY-style pizza is tops. Genuine New York style thin crust is hard to find and even harder to make.Vinny’s delivers on all counts! Frankly worth a trip. The garlic knots before dinner are decadent and worth a trip on their own.

Vinnys NY Pizza has the best and tastiest pizza in Gwinnett, period. The ingredients are always fresh, pizza is super cheesy and delicious, and the salad with vinegarette dressing is bursting with flavor. Our server Kayla was awesome!! She is so friendly and pleasant and one of the best waitresses weve ever dealt with. We just love it here.

100% disappointed and dissatisfied! We called in a $45 order. Was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. I arrived 35 minutes later to pick up our order. They told us it would be another 30 minutes. And, then the Owner stated they cant confirm actual Order Pick Times. Really! Then you should Get Out of the Take Out business.The New Owners get an F in Order Pick Up Readiness, Customer Service friendliness and etiquette. We will be finding another Authentic Pizza Joint in the Lawrenceville or Duluth Area.

We always eat at this restaurant but today I got to post out to bigger community for bad experience we had. Once we got the food at home, we called them for portion size because we felt that they significantly reduced it and the guy listen me and just hang upon me instead of answering the question. Once we started eating the food we found the hair in the food so, I took the photo off it and call them again to inform but they put the phone aside so we never able to reach them.I hope owner would address this issue. I felt since the head chef left and open his restaurant new guys are just ruin the business.

Honestly, it doesn’t look like much on the outside but the inside Atmosphere was quaint and charming! Table of eight, all ordered a different entree ranging from pizza to sandwiches to pasta to soup and we all agreed the food was excellent. Must try tomato basil soup! Isabella was our server and she was sweet, charming and attentive without being overbearing. Excellent service and we will definitely be back. Must go to place if you are in Duluth/Lawrenceville area.

This place was my favorite, thus far, in Georgia. They bring out the rolls first thing.The rolls are seriously what youre gonna fill up on theyre so good. So consider whatever you get next to be heated in the microwave the next day and plan accordingly.I was brave and ordered a whole pizza for myself, chicken marsala, garlic pasta and some cheese ravioli were what my co-tablers got. Everything was awesome, literally no complaints, other than that mutagen not occuring where we are born with more than one stomach to fit all this great food.Coffee was offered to finish the experience off, but I was slipping too far into this glorious food coma to be bothered with the black gold.Cant wait to return for round 2!
