Excellent service. I was offered a shuttle to my house while I waited. They picked me up on time at the time I had requested once my car was serviced. I highly recommend them. I dropped my carcat 7:15 am today. Early drop off worked great!

My daughter was visiting me from Florida and she began to experience some transmission problems. I took her car to a trusted repair service who changed her oil but recommended I take her car to a transmission service that I had gone to years ago and they were very good. However they couldnt help me for whatever reason after looking at the car but suggested I take it to a Honda Dealer. So I made an an appointment with the nearest Honda dealership but it would be two weeks before they could look at the car. Therefore I looked for the next closest dealership and thank God it was Gwinnett Place Honda. I was told by Michael in the Service Dept. that if I could get my car to them in the next hour they could look at my car today. And when I arrived at Gwinnett Honda I had the privilege of meeting Ken Cho, Service Advisor and he was just AWESOME.He immediately assured me that Gwinnett Place gets things fixed and and a few hours later the car was not only fixed but Ken assured me that it was better then ever. And when I drove it home it was like a new car and I was just amazed at how they got me in and got the car fixed in record time as far as I was concerned. And I just want to give Gwinnett Place Honda a 5 star rating if that is the highest rating. And I also want to commend Ken Cho for his positive attitude and how he just assured me that they would get it fixed and they did. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Part 2TLDR: My door handle broke. They charged me over $600 to fix it. One month later, it broke again (same problem). They want to charge me more to have it diagnosed and fixed (again). *They want me to pay them to take a second shot at fixing my vehicle after they weren’t successful the first time around*I don’t really write reviews. But I do find value in them. Particularly, if they are reviews such as this, which are hopefully as unbiased as they can possibly be (all reviews are subjective in some form).I am writing this so that customers will be more aware of the choices they are making when they bring their vehicle to a large dealership such as Gwinnett Place Honda. This type of establishment comes with all the bells and whistles such as a complementary shuttle service and even a free car rental when your vehicle needs to be held for multiple days. But for even the most minor repairs (a broken door handle), they will charge a significant price to provide service.They are able to accomplish this by performing services behind a big brand name such as Honda. These prices are established intentionally to indicate that you are receiving top quality service from an entity as big as Honda. Surely, Honda being as successful as it is, will be able to deliver high quality service and possess the necessary organizational efficiency and excellence to make any customer experience a positive one.In contrast, the narrative they would like you to believe is that an independent, mom & pop shop, will not be able to execute repairs like Honda can. That these smaller shops cannot compete at scale because they are inferior. That their lower prices reflect lower quality and greater inconvenience.But I urge any reader of this review to challenge those assumptions. We usually make choices based off of our emotions, what we are comfortable with. But this isn’t always the best decision. Keep in mind that your experience at Gwinnett Place Honda Service Center may be a positive one. But it might also be just as negative. It’s a gamble. But in either case, you will be paying an exorbitant amount of money compared to other places.My experience wasn’t unpleasant because of Honda’s incompetence in not fixing my door handle correctly the first time around. My experience was unpleasant because this is a corporation. Their strategy is profit first, people second. They can spin whatever marketing campaigns they want, but at the end of the day, they made a mistake and expected me to pay for it. So just like any good customer, I will adjust and learn from this.I had an analogous experience with the shop I get my oil changed at 2 weeks ago. My skid plate was loose after an oil change. They said no need to schedule an appointment, just bring it in and they will take care of it, no charge. They care about service. They care about people. They don’t have any policies in place that prevent them from treating people less than, policies that solely drive profits. They told me not worry.I’m going to see if they do door repairs.

The wait was 4 hours for a tire on my just purchased vehicle that had a very large screw in it when I left the lot the night before...the light was on that my tire was low (I didnt know the meaning of this light) when we got home I told my fiance to check it out..he said its the low pressure in one of your tires light. It was dark by the time we left the Honda dealership so in the morning I went outside to check it and thats when I found the screw...Honda service wanted to know if I bought the warranty for my tires before they would fix it!!! I said you sold it to me like that, they said well you couldve picked it up on your way home...so not happy with them

Beyond apathetic, just plain rude. Stood in the service department for 10 minutes holding a sleeping baby and made eye contact with several advisors. All made eye contact and continued going about their business without a word or other acknowledgement. I greeted one advisor with a β€œhello” while making eye contact and he ignored me to keep walking. I left without help.
