I had been so nervous for so long about finally going to the dentist after a prolonged bout of illness kept me from being able to take proper care of many other aspects of my health- oral included- for so many years. Dentists I had dealt with in the past were generally pretty cold and stern, quick to lecture. I was terrified of the probability of both pain and harsh judgment for the state of my teeth. I was met with neither.The first thing that impressed me was the holistic nature of their intake forms. It felt more thorough than even that of many physicians. They also asked specifically about a fairly little-known allergy (artificial red dye) that I had grown used to having to convince professionals was a legitimate concern for me, fda approved or not.The staff at the desk was friendly, welcoming, and very sweet. The dental staff were also very kind and reassuring. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort without me having ever had to ask or explain why I was tense.Most astoundingly, though I had fully expected one particular broken tooth in the front of my mouth to be beyond repair, or at the very least require a crown, was made whole again with composite fillings. I hadnt expected that to even be possible with the extent of the damage, but it now looks good as new. Clearly much skill, practice, and artistry has gone into her ability to restore a patients teeth. I could have cried with gratitude when I saw my smile again.I cannot possibly recommend this office enough. They are all clearly very dedicated, skilled, compassionate professionals. Though I now am determined to take far better care of my teeth, I certainly wont be anxiously avoiding my six month check-ins from here out.

Awful. Unorganized. I had 2 apts. 140 and 210. I receive a text link day before and a vm asking me to fill out the docs they sent by text. I do this. I arrive to be told they gave me the wrong link and to fill it out now (via phone) before they can be seen. The tablets they provide are slow and dont pick up when youre tapping. I finish one set they take the first child around 145. He text me at 230, he is still sitting in the chair in the back. By the time I finish the second set of docs they have now taken other people ahead of us. I ask how long, they say I have to wait since I didnt have my paperwork ready! I reminded them that was their error and I should not have my apt delayed due to that. Especially since I can sit there and complete it while she is in the room. In the midst of it, other people were having complaints as well. Being told they didnt submit paperwork, they dont receive their bills etc. Employees were nice I cant imagine what they deal with all day. Tell me how apt #2 comes out before #1? My son was sitting in the chair from 145-305 before he was seen!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!!! I took my 8 year old for a clean up and was asked to arrive early. I arrived 15 mins early (appointment was at 11) 12 pm came and we weren’t seen yet. I finally decided to ask for his records and walked out at 12:20! This place is horrible. Also, they don’t seem change their gloves in between patients, they wash them instead! NEVER COMING BACK!

I dont even know where to begin. Last year I had a dental emergency and was in a lot of pain due to a tooth needing to be pulled. I desperately needed my tooth pulled. The dental office never called me back so I had to pay out of pocket to see another dentist due to the emergency.I have taken my son to see the same dentist there and even though it states that this place is a family dental office Dr. Navreet wont take any X-rays or work on his teeth whatsoever. I am not sure what she does as a dentist but it seems like absolutely NOTHING. Not to mention she does not change her gloves in between patients. ITS SICK. Do not waste your time going here because you will not get any work done.

First of all, when I made and appointment they said they do have pediatric dentist for 2 year old. But when we came after waiting 30 minutes they said they cand to anything because he is to tiny 🤦‍♀️we had an appointment at 10 am and at the same time another lady had it too at 10 am, and of course she came in first and I with the toddler had to wait. And AFTERALL the doctor came at us with the same face covering all dirty and splashed from the previos patient! If you have a chance just go somewhere you will be safe and respected

I get there today and they tell me they dont take my insurance... witch they checked 2and a half months ago... unbelievable.. beware people...

The worst dental studio ever!We were whole family patients there,im happy that we are not anymore!Bunch of liers,manipulators who only try to make money from you/insuranceI was in pain 2 weeks,call them more than 10 times,they just lie to me that the doctor will give me a call which never happen!Plus my new dentis check all the tooths which they work on and not even one was completely cleaned and fixed!Better run away from this dental studio!!!

This is THE WORSE dental office!!!!We was whole family patient’s there but they don’t care about the patients at ALL!!!I broke a tooth and they tell me sorry we cannot accept you go to pharmacy buy temporary fill, then my husband got gum infection because wisdom tooth and he was in huge pain, he call 10 times to ask to be seen or speak with the doctor but NO ONE ,, doctor,, call from the office!And now we find another dentist and when he checked my tooths all they was working on was half made !!! Do not give them your trust!!!!Update: after a week I wrote this review i got letter from the management that they don’t want me to be there patient in Alivio !!Well i am telling you in public I will sign up the paperwork right away with pleasure (all of my family members) !!!I don’t need business dentist- I need someone who will take care for the patients health and keep the Hippocratic Oath!!Thank you!!!

The office is impeccable which is very important to me, overall staff is friendly and professional and the Dentists personality has a way of putting one at ease. I went for a cleaning and was very impressed with the detailed of his cleaning. He didnt take a long time, yet listened to any concerns. I am definitely going back in 6 months to upkeep cleaning care and strongly recommend this office for dental care needs.

I came in as a walk in and in desperate need of a tooth extraction.The staff was very compassionate and did everything they could to get me in to see the dentist.The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Despite me not having dental insurance, they quoted me a reasonable price for the immediate issue(tooth extraction).I was so impressed with their staff, that I scheduled my son for an exam and cleaning.I would definitely recommend Alivio Dental.

The staff the doctor everyone was very professional they were very kind and intended to my each and every need. BEWARE. Worst PRACTICE in the STATE OF ILLINOIS. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. it takes alot to upset me, and this practice did it. I am calling the Dupage county health to report them. We had an emergency with a tooth and they told me it takes minimum 24 hours until the dentist reviews and can get back to the front desk. It took over 72 hours just for them to figure out how to make the appt. Then they try to schedule a virtual appt and tell me they cant get me in until October. Its currently August. Thats how they take care of emergencies. Obviously, they need to take a course on customer service and look the definition of an emergency. Plenty of other practices in the area to go to.

So I had my crown done at this place about a year and a half ago. The permanent cement broke broke about 2 months ago and it has been damn near impossible to get an appointment to re-cement it which took about 20 minutes at my other dentist.Highly recommend you look for an alternative. They are unprofessional and incompetent.

My family and I have been patients of the Downers Grove office for close to two years. The original dentists we saw were two awesome ladies. I am not sure if they have moved on or are solely in the Aurora office? The current dentists at the Downers Grove office are both men. They are nice enough, and they and their assistants all behave like professionals. It pains me to have to say (having done that type of work for many years) that the front desk staff is not as professional and that their customer service skills are pretty lacking. The office is a pretty open space and if you are in the first or second rooms you can hear them talk because they are kind of loud, especially when their conversations turn personal.In recent visits they have lost appointments and were rather unpleasant to talk to. When I called to share my concerns with the practices manager, no one would tell me their name, or give me a time frame of when the manager was in the office, or put me in their voicemail. I was provided with a generic email address that I dont believe that said manager is the only person who reads it. My last office visit was for the start of a permeant crown being placed. I am still in pain almost four weeks later. And quite honestly, Im not sure I want to return to this practice. Or trust them to take care of my family. The three stars are for the ladies we first saw and the care and patience that they showed to my kiddo, who hates going to the dentist. If I have had to base it on my interactions with the office since January 2020, they would get zero stars.

I took my son there that is hard to get him to go to a dentist because hes had some bad experience with dentist. But he absolutely loved the dentist there and said he will continue to go there that he finally found his dentist. And the staff was very friendly. it was nice experience.

Dentist here are great and they are always so great with my young son. I didn’t give it 5 stars bc the assistant was a little unprofessional, rude n too rough. A little more customer service training might be needed.

Me and my kids have been going to this place every six months for nearly three year now so time for some feedback. Our family has had fillings, crowns, exams and cleanings done through our insurance with them. They have been sort of blessing for us as they are so close by and provide quality care with the insurance coverage our kids have. We had couple of emergency walk-ins and they were able to accommodate us the same day. They have friendly staff and a very modern office. Other dental clinics in the area are not even close to the service we have gotten at this office. I have to admit though that they have gotten busier now than when we first started going to this place. I would guess thats good though as they might be providing a good service so they have lot of patients come to them. Recommended.

The dentists at Alivio Dental are extremely professional and courteous. They were detailed and meticulous when giving me an exam. I felt comfortable as they explained everything to me very well. I was very impressed and would recommend them to anyone. They are open late on weekdays and on Saturdays, which makes it conducive to my schedule.

Alivio Dental is very unprofessional. Customer service is horrible. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield so Im 100% covered for them to give me a out of network provider and billed me. I am fighting that now, they need to have there front desk people trained to know what doctors are what network providers for certain insurances. The front desk lady Vidya is very rude and unprofessional. No one is welcoming in that place. Ive been emailing the head guy named San for 2 months now and no one replies back. No one is helping me they always have excuses. Do not go here they are horrible.

Dr. Kaur and her staff are extremely courteous. They make you feel comfortable and take time to review and explain the details to the patient. No pain experienced in the treatment process. The place is also neat and clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

My 4 year old son needed a cavity filled and I was sure he would be so terrified that there was no way this procedure would take place. He and my husband came home after the procedure and he was all smiles telling me how easy it was. My husband explained to me the staff and dentist were the ones that made this a painless procedure by their expertise and by going out of their way to ensure my sons comfort. I have had an excellent experience with this dental office. I went in for a cleaning and a treatment plan. The doctor did a great job of explaining what dental procedure options were available to me. She was very patient answered all of my questions. I feel very relieved to have finally found a dentist in the area that I am comfortable with.

I have going to this dental office for over 2 years now during which I have gotten cleanings, fillings and a crown done. Really good care and staff is super friendly too. I had to wait for some time during the recent appointment but that was over a weekend. I guess there is a reason why there is a wait - they have lot of people coming here, I would take the wait any day than going to someone where no one wants to go.

My visit to the dentist always causes me to be nervous. But I was amazed at how understanding and gentle the dentist was with me. She took X-rays right there on the spot and explained the results. She explained the treatment she recommended and was very thorough. I was very happy with their service. Very friendly staff . I also appreciated that their office was so clean!!

Tried this dentist because I happened to be shopping in the grove shopping center. I needed a new dentist and I life in the area. The dentist is extremely gentle and takes her time to explain everything before she does anything in your mouth. The office is state of the art with computer x-ray imaging and she can show you on the TV screen everything shes going to do in your mouth. Ive found my new dentist!!

I went in with a shattered tooth, they promised me if I spent the $900 on a root canal that I would be pain free and be able to save my tooth. Not only I have I been in pain since the so called root canal (that happened in March), they wont even pull my tooth!!! Its May now and Im still in pain. I have asked repeatedly for their management to call me and they have yet to do so, I requested that call over a month ago.

When I took my son there, it was amazing. So I decided to change dentists and go there myself. Well the first appointment that I had was cancelled by Alivio Dental. Ok so no problem, I’ll reschedule. I have a full time job and 3 small children, but hey at least they called right ? Sooooo.... I reschedule the appointment and show up for it and they say that I do not have an appointment. I am a prompt and reliable person. I write everything on an old school calendar. I 100% had an appointment that day but they said I didn’t have one scheduled for any day. They told me that I could wait but there were 3 people ahead of me. Why would I have to wait when I wasn’t the one that dropped the ball here ? I was upset and crying. My husband dropped me off and was taking the kids for a drive while I was there so I had to call him and wait outside, still crying. I took time out of my very hectic schedule for this and it was a day wasted. I’ll never go back. It’s such a shame because I really wanted to go there. My 4 year old had a great experience. Now I have to make another appointment somewhere else when I don’t have many free days.

This dental office is new and looks very modern. I went there for my teeth cleaning and the staff are very nice and courteous. It is good and convenient to have a brand new dental office in our neighborhood. I surely recommend Dr. Kuar to anyone I know.

I had a beautiful experience on first visit and follow-up. Got an immediate appointment to my surprise and when I needed the most due to severe toothache. Friendly staff, and a nice dentist who explained things well. Had a follow-up call and got a re-fill prescription as needed.Overall a great experience.

On a late Saturday afternoon 15 minutes before Alivio was to close I called and was able to get my husband in with a infected tooth that needed to be pulled,They took the time to get us in and gave a script and injected the area with pain medication to help with pain. The upcoming Monday he will have his tooth pulled. The Office manager and the dentist was so kind and helpful. Thank you Alivio Dental.

I highly recommend Alivio Dental in Downers Grove! The staff is professional and friendly and Dr. Kaur is outstanding. After getting a full-mouth X-Ray, I received a very thorough exam. The advanced technology in the office also helps a great deal. I recently had a root canal and it was easy and close to being painless. I need more work and I look forward to Dr. Kaur completing it. I have visited other offices in the area and this one is by far the best.

I am disappointed with the experience despite all the good reviews on Google. I cannot say how does this place comparing with other places, since I haven’t been to many other dentist before. But here is what happened.I went to do a teeth cleaning. Despite I already brought the x-ray from another doctor, they still insisted they wanted another x-ray, and a ton of camera pictures. I spent 2 hours here, with no teeth cleaned but a huge bill saying these are the things that can be done in future. I don’t know whether this is how dentist make money in US, but I don’t think this is the most time efficient way of getting things done.

My seven years old son had excessive tooth decays and was uncomfortable to come to dentist. But Dr. Kaur attended to him patiently and put him at ease. Before starting the procedure she took time to explain us in detail. The clinic has state of art technology, there was no waiting time, the staffs were also so co-operative and overall it was a peaceful experience.

Staff were professional. I thought having to bite down on the thing for the X-rays was the most uncomfortable experience, and having to do it over a dozen times did not make it better.

I needed a deep cleaning and was denied by my insurance through a previous dentist. The dentist did not want to resubmit another authorization for the treatment. Instead, she simply pushed forward with me paying out of pocket (almost $2,000). I had an unsettling feeling after that experience.I decided to do some research to get a second opinion. I found overwhelming praise about Alivio Dental. I now know why!My initial exam was with Dr. Clara Bajzek. She was absolutely phenomenal! I explained how long I had been trying to follow up with my denial and figure out how to proceed. She did everything in her power to submit as much evidence to the insurance for a second time for said treatment. Moreover, the dental assistant that day was just as stellar. She reassured me that even if I were denied again that we would all work together to find a solution.I was in fact denied again. After speaking to the front desk, we decided it wouldn’t hurt to contact my insurance company to shed some light on the situation. In the end, it came down to some addition information that needed to be included to reverse the denial. Dr. Clara and Alivio did as instructed by my insurance and just like that I was approved!Unfortunately, Dr. Clara left for another practice before I had the privilege of seeing her further. Dr. Navreet Kaur worked on me instead and yet again I had another outstanding experience! The entire procedure was completely painless and quick. She and her assistants were very efficient and thorough. I had virtually no bleeding or soreness after. In fact, every problem I had been struggling with for what seemed like forever was almost instantly resolved. Not only do my teeth and gums look significantly better. They feel significantly better. It’s obvious every member of the Alivio Dental team knows what theyre doing!

For a person whos scared to go to the dentist, Im not scared anymore. The dentist Dr. Bajzek did an excellent job. Nothing hurt including the shots. This is a dentist office that Ill bring my 8 grandkids to. The staff are professional and greet you with a smile. See yall in 6 months.

Receptionist at Alivio Dental asked me if I would share my experience online about my treatment and I said why not! So here it is for anyone who might be interested...I was in pain in left side tooth and swollen mouth on one side when I went to this place two weeks ago. Dentist and her staff were very kind and understood my concerns. She showed and explained to me exactly what was wrong with my tooth and options I had to fix it. I wanted to save my tooth to maintain a complete beautiful smile. I paid out of pocket for root canal treatment which my insurance did not cover. It did take few hours for numbness to go away but luckily I have not experienced any pain so far after the treatment and all my is swelling gone too. Im scheduled to go back and get a cap which is covered procedure as they accept my insurance. Sure enough given my experience with them, I would recommend this dentist to anyone.

Unsatisfactory customer care service. Root canal was not completed yet I was charged in advance, they promised a quick refund due to the inconvenience and time wasted it took over 2 weeks for this to be refunded and manager was not available to speak to upon request. It is now 3 months later and I just received a notice for a past due bill that according to them was billed to me before. No way in hell do I now owe them anything. Lets see how long it takes before I get a call back. They always have issues with their service when someone is upset. Waiting on a call back 😡.

I have never been a big fan of dentists bc they always find something wrong or they r just out right mean. However, I was so happy to see that this dentist is very kind and gentle. Not only was the Dr. very nice but so was the rest of her staff. While I waited her dental assistant started to take x-rays and then so did the Dr. when it was my turn to be seen and she explained what I needed to have done and we came up with a plan right then and there. Needless to say, I am very happy I went to this office. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked if I knew of a great dentist!!!

I had very good experience with this dental office. That was my First visit i went in for fixing my crown. The dentist Dr. Kaur is good and explained clearly on what she is going to do before fixing my crown back into the mouth. Dr. Kour did a nice job and I feel relaxed to have my crown fixed back on time.

Well just happened to have an appointment today at 10:30am. Was waiting for 45 minutes and nobody even started working on my teeth, I just left because waiting 45 mins for the doctor is not right. Previous day they called me to confirm my arrival as well. By the way I am 6 months pregnant, but doctors dont really care. Would not recommend to anyone! Horrible service!!!

My son was at this dental office first time nice place friendly people.The dentist explained everything,best dentist she is gentle,I`m always scared of dentist but she is very good.

Alivio dental is the best of all dentist they treat you with care and take good care of you.

My boyfriend went here to have a tooth extracted. He said he did not feel any pain and said he will be back for future work. I recently cracked a tooth, had an xray and filling which fixed the tooth with no pain. Thanks to the wonderful caring people at Alivio is why I recomend this great place. Im so lucky to have found a awesome dentist.

I went there with my kid. Dr. Kaur and her staff are extremely courteous. They make you feel comfortable and take time to review and explain the details to the patient. No pain experienced in the treatment process. The place is also neat and clean. I would definitely recommend this place.************** After 11 Months **********Eleven months later I am experiencing the below:I have been a regular patient to Alivio Dental so far and my experience in last few visits were not atall satisfactory. I am writing this review while i am waiting for doctor to see me. I came here at 11 AM( its a snowy morning) and its almost noon now and no one even updating me when the procedure will start.Its happened for last two visits for me and i was ignorant to the sign of negligence Alivio Dental started showing towards patients(at least for me). The service becoming worst day by day and I am reducing my ratting to 1 from 5 that i had rated earlier.With this I will leave it upto your personal choice and preference to visit this clinic, but for me its a Big NO.Thank you Alivio Dental for your gracious service in past 11 months but i cant help myself stopping to get your service with my todays experience.

I have been able to get in quickly and the staff is very friendly. The only point that bothers me is I am about to have a crown put in and they do not offer nitrous oxide which Id prefer for the procedure.

Dr. Kaur is the best dentist . They are very professional and the office is beautiful! The clinic is soo organized and clean .I highly recommend this clinic and dentist!
