I was traveling from Atlanta to Florida work when my truck ran hot just outside of Dothan. I found Evans automotive online and I’m very glad I did. The guys took care of all my issues and got me back on the road for a very reasonable price. I would 100% recommended their services!

The other thing I had done was a starter replacement. My biggest complaint was the fact that they would not use customer bought parts. The price was comparable and even better than a lot of places in town for the same job. Their customer service was top-notch. They made me feel like I mattered as a person. Thats something you dont have very much anymore. They did a great job! I will definitely use them again!

I thought I was having a issue with my wheel bearing(s) but they informed me everything checked out ok, what I was hearing was normal road noise. They could have easily taken advantage and changed out one or more bearings and I wouldn’t have been any wiser to it. They are very courteous, polite and professional. I will definitely be using them in the future and I highly recommend them.

Joe is a godsend. He was the third mechanic I went to(regrettably I listened to a referral to one dud, then the second couldn’t work with my emergent timeline). Almost all signs were pointing to a new engine and thousands of dollars in expense. He was able to diagnose the issue and fix it in 2 days despite being a very busy time of year. There are not enough ‘thank you’s in the world!

I came across Evans when I my previous mechanic turned me down for being too busy to take my emergency. I called Evans and spoke with Rod who quoted me a fair and reasonable price for the repair and picked up my vehicle with no hassle to me. They have fixed a problem that was caused by one of their techs at no charge to me. They owned up to the mistake. You don’t find that with automotive shops anymore. I took my rather old and worn down car to get some last minute repairs before going out of town for the weekend. When they had looked over my car I got a call and the question, “do you really want to pour this much money into this car?” He proceeded to tell me what was wrong and how much it would cost and actually discouraged me from getting it fixed. Though the news was not good, I am so grateful for his honesty and good advice. As a young female I worry about mechanics trying to overcharge me because I don’t know much about vehicles. Instead he told me to take the money I would put into repairs and make a down payment on a new car. Whenever I do get a new vehicle, I will continue taking it to Evans.

Excellent service. They take care of their customers. Evans Automotive helped with my Mom’s car when she was in town visiting and need Freon. Late on a Friday afternoon - they added Freon and got her A/C cooling again.

This shops site needs to remove that they work on ALL makes and models. Had my diesel truck towed here after hours since it stopped running, called the next morning to talk to them about it and let them know the issue and was informed they cant work on it since it was a GMC diesel. The guy was very polite about it and gave me a different shop to go to which I appreciate and I hope theyre polite like he was, I just based my decision on the good reviews and that their website stated they can work on anything.

They did a thorough inspection on a car that my friend was hoping to purchase. The inspection showed that the good deal would end up costing her 6,000 in engine repairs soon. I was so impressed with their honesty and efficiency, I started bringing my car their to have it serviced. I was told that Evans Automotive was a good Place to take my car well I took my car and they frist told me that I could get my car back that day but it turned into two days almost and when they called me to pick up the car I paid over four hundred dollars for I drove away and when I got up the street my car begin to malfunction I called them and they said to bring it back when I got back they said that i could leave it with them so they could find the Problem so they could charge me more money when I was told that my car was ready i would never send anyone to that shop i even had to call the police which they said that it was a civil matter but I had just given them my money not twenty minutes ago i was told that I would need to get a lawyer in order to get my money back I truly believe in this case they are the ones that needed a lawyer my rights were really violated and that the Robber was protected i am a God fearing man this is a true story.

Excellent customer service and quality maintenance on 2006 Mercedes. Fair price on oil change and bulb, 27-point inspection included, and extremely time efficient. I have a Toyota Sienna, that the local Toyota Dealership said needed a $12.000 engine (yes that is twelve thousand). I took it to Evans on the recommendation of a friend and he was able to help me recover the engine without the expensive repair. Now it runs great and only burns a very small amount of oil and it only cost me $500. If you want honest and skilled repair then go to Evans Automotive. I have used Evans for repairs to my Chevy S10 Blazer before and was pleased with the work done and the professional attitude of the service techs.My brother, who lives out of town, called and asked me who I would recommend in Dothan to look at his Audi TT. He was having troubles with his transmission and had been told the repair was to remove and replace the transmission at a cost of $7500.00. I had heard of a service tech at Evans Automotive named Wesley, who was supposed to be great a working on foreign cars. I spoke with Wesley who seemed to be very knowledgeable with foreign cars. I called my brother and recommended Evans to him. He brought his vehicle down and left it with Evans.The repair was done in a timely manner and at a cost of less than $800.00. He is also going to let them do other repairs on the car. I dont regret sending my brother to Evans Automotive. More importantly, this is a shop I recommend to FAMILY. Honest Owners, Honest Service Techs and they treated my Brother right. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to have work done.

We were in the home stretch of a HUGE family move from the Midwest, and thought we could limp home with an intermittent noise in the rear wheel. Not to happen. When we called for a tow with our truck and UHaul trailer dead on the side of the road, Joe was kind and helpful beyond anything we could have imagined being new in town! Not only did Lee and Ashton pick us up with a warm smile and extreme competence, the work was done on our truck the next morning, for an amazingly great price, and we made it home safely! I have never received customer service this good in any business. They are the most honest and friendliest business I have ever dealt with. I recommend them for any automotive problem. I have two vehicles with well over 100k miles and I wouldnt take them anywhere else.

Such a great experience!! Everyone at Evans is super friendly and accommodating. I went in for an oil change before heading to the office and was actually able to start my workday from their waiting area, thanks to the fresh coffee and wifi access. If wifi and coffee doesnt do it for you, their prices are great AND I was informed that next time theyll pick up my car and drop it off when theyre done. It doesnt get better than this!!

My family and I were traveling and our van broke down. We had it towed to Evans Auto to repair. We didnt know the area and had two small kids with us. They were very kind and one of the guys (sorry, I dont remember his name!) stayed late and came in early to let us get back on the road as soon as possible. In addition, when Enterprise left us stranded at the shop, they let us borrow a car and helped us find a hotel! Yall are stars in my book! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Avoid these people like the plague. I went to them cause of reviews and boy was I wrong. First off they fixed it all of 10 mins later on that afternoon my car quit and I had to take it to another mechanic. I called and it was my fault and the guy had an attitude and sarcastic. Never ever again now Im out the money I paid them to fix it and the new mechanic what a crock of bs. They also wanted me to tow it from Enterprise back to Dothan on my dime whatever. It is a wonderful place to eat ; its a little expensive , but good it makes you forget about the price, also the works are very curious and kind .Cant find a better place to eat especially on Sundays when you dont want to be cooking.

Evans told my wife that our car needed upper and lower ball joints, and sway bars replaced soon. They quoted her $1,000. The only thing the car needs is shocks and after having it inspected by two different auto shops, Ill tell everyone I know about their dishonesty. Dont send you wife in for an oil change unless she is mechanically inclined. Theyll try to convince those who dont know any better to get expensive, bogus repairs!

Buyer beware their service manager had the guts to tell me he would charge mea hundred and fifty dollars replace my oil pressure sending unit after their mechanicburned it out changing my oil filter gasket.These people will rip you off and dont care.I ended up buying one at auto zone for forty dollars and express oil replaced it for free.I would highly advise you go somewhere else where they are more honest.They need shut these people down.I would never use them or recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
