Ive been using Gary for years for numerous things. First dirt track racing, he had so many parts available in a time crunch. Later down the road Ive used him to repair my personal vehicle. He had a whole kit to rebuild my rear end in stock! Very impressed. I now use him for odd parts when I am repairing vehicles. If you cant find it at the local parts stores then give Gary a call!

What a place! Traveling through on a 4 month trip and I called around 3pm on a Thursday while I was waiting on a tow. They said they would probably be able to fit me in Friday morning. I arrived just after 6 and gary was there to greet me. I was sleeping in my 76 dodge street van so they lent me a car Incase I wanted to drive anywhere. The next morning they got to the van first thing. They had the problem figured out in 30 minutes. They charged me fairly. They have access to a lot of parts which makes it convenient not having to wait. The shop inside is the cleanest and most organized garage I’ve been in. Highly recommend this place. Gary and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. They specialize in older vehicles. Anyone with a pre-1990’s vehicle knows that it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find mechanics who know how to service and repair these old autos.I’ve been taking my 1979 Ford Bronco to Gary for a couple years now. I’ve found that his prices are reasonable, and it’s usually not too difficult to get scheduled, especially if you’re not in a rush and you’re willing to leave your vehicle for them to squeeze in. In fact, I’ve found that they get the work done a lot faster if it’s “at their convenience” which is nice if it’s not your primary driver.My Bronco is a money pit but I have sentimental attachment to it. I like that Gary and his wife seem to understand that. They have an appreciation for these older vehicles, and it shows. Gary specializes in transmissions if I’m not mistaken, and he can rattle off specs and insights like only a lifetime career mechanic can. He was able to recommend unconventional repairs for some of the known issues I was having for my old Ford—specifically, the fact that all remanufactured power steering pumps made for Fords have a high failure rate. Gary offered me the option of getting a kit that adapts my 400 V-8 Ford to be compatible with a new (not remanufactured) GM brand power steering pump.I know my old money pit is going to require more work in the future. When it does, I trust that Gary’s Auto will take care of it!
