If I could give this agency a negative 5 I would. My uncle fought for this country during Vietnam and no matter how many times he seems out help Veterans Affairs Always Finds a Way To Turn Him Down! Veterans Affairs is As Useful As Trying To Light A Match Under Water! Why fight for this Country For VA Just To Forget About You! #Frustrated

Life went bad for me. The VA has helped me get back on my feet. I found a place to live and have been ready to move in since May. Southwest solutions jumped right in and performed inspection and Ms. Weyer informed me that they are submitting check request and that I should have a check for security deposit in 5 to 7 days. I believe I will be able to move out of the shelter by the 24th of June. (Excuse 1) we missed the cut off date for June. (Why I call B.S. 1) why wouldnt they inform me prior to the 24th of June. So expect check 7 to 9 days this time from the 2nd of July. Notice how time for processing has increased 2 days. (Excuse 2) I was informed that a receptionist Katina is on maternity leave and that she is responsible for making sure the paperwork is done. (Why I call B.S .2) How can the organization blame a pregnant woman, its not like the pregnancy just happened overnight. Companies have contingency plans for these types of things. If they dont, they need new leadership at Soutwest solutions. Last week we were told that we will have a check by July 17th (yesterday), they also told the landlord the same thing. I was assured 100 percent that I would be able to move. That was yesterday, how fast things change because today I was informed that I should look forward to August 1st. I dont know what this means. Their going to submit request for money or I am getting check August 1st. (Excuse 3) They havent given us that yet. The reason I say us, is because there is one other veteran in my building alone in my exact situation along with many other veterans in my building a month behind our timeline. My guess is that they dont have any money. They think were ignorant because we lost a job. When I got divorced I gave wife and kids everything and received a layoff a few months later The VA assists us with temporary housing and SW solutions is supposed to help with the initial expenses. I have bought and leased many homes or apartments in my lifetime and this has been the absolute worst experience ever.

A bunch of know nothing, people that want someone to pay for their overpriced apartments that are rodent infested. They dont really try to keep the building clean, theres no security in my building. The property manager of Clark apartments, Ms. Melanie Horton is a bully and not very bright despite having gone to college. All in all, I know this program is helping some people but its too much b******* and lies that you have to filter through to try and get some help here. save your money and go elsewhere because in the end you are going to end up being illegally evicted
