My wife and I had family visiting from out of town and we decided to take them fishing. Capt Dennis with Semper Fish was the perfect choice. He was very professional and got us on fish the whole morning. If the fish werent biting, hed already have another spot in mind and we would be back on the fish again. We already have plans to book with Semper Fish again in a couple of months. If anyone is looking for a good time in Destin, book a trip with Semper Fish!

Semper Fish is absolutely the best. We try to take trips once a year with the whole family and the kids, ages 6 through 14, always have a great time. If there are fish to be caught Captain Dennis will take you there.

We have been fishing with Captain Dennis since 2017. Our growing boys are always excited to get out fishing, and the Captain is great with families and kids! He’s down to earth and just a great guy. We’ve targeted several species on all of our many trips and have had great luck each time. It’s really nice having just your group/family on the boat and not a lot of strangers ( as you would in a party boat).

Went fishing today (mid June) with Capt. Dennis. Had an absolute blast. We caught red snapper, black snapper, and 1 grouper. Met up at 6am at his boat and were fishing within the hour. Highly recommend, this was a great trip.

This was my first time booking a private charter and we were not disappointed. The customer service was fantastic. Captain Andy was very knowledgeable of the marine life there in Destin. Caught us a pretty good sized King!

We were unable to take our fishing trip due to weather... HOWEVER, the customer service given by captain Dennis and captain Andy was phenomenal!! They were so kind and helpful. We sat for a while waiting to see if the rain would go away but it never did. We were so upset we were unable to fish but we will definitely be calling them up again to go out next time we are in Florida! Definitely give them a call.

About 5 minutes out on the water and my boys were catching fish! This is exactly what I wanted for my teenagers! Captain Andy was so fun and knowledgeable! We would definitely book again!

From start to finish, this trip was memorable. I took my brother in law on his first salt water fishing trip and I can say that he wont forget it anytime soon. Our captain, Captain Andy, did a fantastic job making sure that we caught fish, but that wasnt the most important part of the trip for me. He was genuinely interested in us having a memorable trip as well. All the way from the start to finish we had a great trip. Even at the end of the trip, I caught a fish then a shark caught the fish!. He chased the shark with us and coached us in how to land this thing. All of us knew that we wouldnt land the shark because we caught it on light tackle. The rod and reel was a light Shimamo open faced reel with 65lb braid, a 35lb leader and a hook more fit for bass fishing than shark fishing. Even with that, he chased the shark for over a mile, measured by GPS, and we spent the next hour and twenty minutes chasing the shark. We finally got the shark wore down enough to reel it next to the surface and get some parting shots. Great trip, cant wait to book again.

We had a terrific experience with Semper Fish - captain Andy was superb! Enthusiastic, great with kids, experienced and clearly loves his job. We had a wonderful day on the water. Our teenage sons loved it.

Me and my father booked a 4 hour trip and it was a great time! Captain Andy did and amazing job finding fish and teaching us everything we needed to know. Highly recommend booking a trip with them.

What a great fishing trip. We booked for a half day, and boy did we get our moneys worth! Excellent and experienced, friendly, knowledgeable! Our grandson had the time of his life--and we did too!! You cannot go wrong with this group! We will be coming back again soon!!

Went out yesterday for a 6 hour trip with this outfit. Folks let me tell you these guys are the best.Hospitality and comradery was excellent. Staff was superb and my group had a very good time,landed the largest fish of my life and we brought bag mangrove snapper and a really nice king,caught some other fish as well.thumbs up to these guys, we will be back for a repeat of this action

Im a repeat customer because Dennis is an outstanding captain with a great mate (2d captain) in Andy. They are highly professional safety oriented, and put fish in the boat. They have a great rapport and offer tips to fishermen without being condescending. Ill keep fishing with them! You cant go wrong.

Booked a solo trip on the Semper Fish and was on the fish at the first stop! Got a couple of nice triggerfish right away and its as good a fish to eat as youll find, IMO. We moved on and landed some nice red snapper, out of season right now, but fun to catch. Hope to make it back soonBooked my 2nd trip with Semper Fish and will always Geaux fishing with these guys when I can! Dennis and his deckhand are very professional from start to finish. Every spot he took us to we caught fish and a lot of fish. I would recommend booking with Dennis and plan on returning as soon as possible.

Captain Dane is fantastic! He was brave enough to serve our nation as a marine and brave enough to take 4 women out fishing! We had an absolute blast. Caught King Mackerel, Corgi, shark and an unforgettable experience with a Dolphin with her head coming out of the water RIGHT next to the boat begging to be fed. Will definitely book with him again. Semper Fish was great from beginning to end! I requested a booking through their website at night and Captain Dennis called me the next morning. He was very polite and accommodating. I appreciate his quick response.Our party of 5 made the hour-ish trip from Panama City to Destin to embark on our adventure. My 13 year old son was so excited to finally be “deep sea” fishing. We were greeted by Captain Andy and left soon thereafter. He was very informative about the boat, what to do while at sea, and what to expect while fishing. The ride was bumpy due to the weather and it took a little longer than preferred to catch our bait. Captain Andy took us to a few spots to cast but sadly, no luck before he had to take back 2 of our passengers as they were getting sea sick.After dropping off a couple passengers, we headed back out and went a little further down the coast. My son caught the first catch of the day not long after he cast his pole. He was so excited for his 10ish king mackerel! The sheer joy on his face was worth every penny! Captain Andy told us he would keep us out a little longer due to the time catching bait and we are so glad he did! We caught a 51 inch 20ish pound barracuda! I loved that Captain Andy walked us through exactly what to do and how to get it onto the boat.While those were the only 2 fish we caught during our time on the water, the experience Captain Andy with Semper Fish charters allowed us to have was exceptional! I would definitely recommend this charter to anyone looking for this type of experience. Captain Andy treated my son (all of us actually) with the upmost respect and kindness - not some naive “out of towners”.

Took my son on his first trip with Semper Fish Charters. Captain Dane was an absolute lucky Genius. We caught a limit of Mingo, 2 nice triggers (out of season though), King Mack, and my son caught an awesome Amber Jack (2 flippin inches short of a keeper) I have been on several trips, and I will say Semper Fish is our Charter from now on! Topped it off with some nice food from our catch. If you want a good time, with even better Captains, call Dennis and Dane with Semper Fish!

Havent been on a saltwater fishing trip in awhile & i loved it! Captain Dane was amazing ! It was almost like fishing in my ponds in Mississippi going straight to my honey hole ! If you wanna catch some fish , have them fillet when you get off the boat, laugh, and have a good time why not choose Semper Fishing ?

We had a great time with Captain Dennis last week in Destin. He was punctual and waiting for us when we arrived, and his communication prior to the trip was excellent. We had a four-year-old and three adults, and Captain Dennis made the experience kid and family friendly. Even if you are an amateur or have never fished before, I highly recommend Semper Fish Charters given Captain Dennis hands on approach to the fishing experience. He was very helpful with retrieving fish upon reeling in and helping put bait back on our poles. Unfortunately our trip got cut short due to weather and while we had really hoped to fish more, the day was memorable and we caught a nice amount of fish.
