We bought Samsung refrigerator from HD back in 2015. In early 2018 it quit running. Got in touch with DMRepair. They responded quickly. Andy checked it out and inverter board was bad. He replaced it promptly. A few months later the unit quit again. This time it was compressor. It was still under warranty but getting anything from Samsung was a joke. The closest service representative is in Omaha. Andy came and checked it out and replaced it. The warranty fight with Samsung was a joke!Recently the ice maker quit. We called DMRepair. Andy came down and the heater in the ice maker was faulty. He ordered new one and replaced bad one. There are some local service companies that do not work on Samsung refrigeration. Call DMRepair!Great service. Fair pricing.

Was very pleased with the way they informed us about what was wrong with our furnace. They tried everything in the book to repair it. Andy finally said it was finished and we needed a new furnace. They worked a good 8 hours Getting the new furnace installed. Price quoted was spot on when they finished. I would highly recommend DM Repair to all our friends.Thanks again Andy

I found DM Repair because we have a funky freezer that was built by a company now out of business and it was misbehaving. Andy @ DM Repair came out, immediately tackled it and got it back online within an hour of arriving. I was expecting a multi-thousand dollar invoice, and usually im pretty concerned that repair technicians prescribe the most expensive fix. This was a fraction of the cost i expected and was up and going very quickly! Highly recommend these folks. Quick response time, professional technicians, and focused on getting things fixed in the quickest and most economical way. Would do six stars if google let me :)

I honestly wasnt thrilled with this company. My washer started having issues where it would spin and run through an entire cycle but wouldnt drain. I suspected a clog or pump failure and enlisted my uncle to have a look at it. After failing to figure out how to take the washer casing apart he called DM Repair to come look at it. The technician was nice but also had to watch a you tube video to learn how to take the washer apart. After about an hour he told me that the timer was bad. He ordered a new timer and installed it two days later. Without running the washer through a cycle he told me it worked and left. I started the washer immediately only to find the symptoms had not changed and the water still did not drain. Because it was Friday evening i waited till the following Tuesday where the same technician came out and found the real problem-a sock in the hose. I am not dissatisfied with his quality of work or prompt timing, but i do feel like he misdiagnosed the issue. This set me back $400 for something i could have learned from a you tube video.

These guys are great! They show up when they say they will, accurately diagnose the problem, and fix it when they say they will. Their technician even vacuumed the dust bunnies from behind my fridge. I super recommend them!

I will never use this place again. He cleaned the igniter in my furnace and bent it so it wasn’t in the line of the gas to turn it on. He tried to tell me I need a common wire to my thermostat and said he could put one in for a $100.00 when there was one on the furnace and thermostat that just took 5 minutes to hook up. They don’t even have there company name on the side of their trucks. Next I am calling the warranty company and BBB! Do not use these people they are a joke!

They came out to fix our refrigerator. Prices were way less than other repair companys and we knew what they were going to charge before any repairs were done. They were able to get us fixed the same day and were very friendly.

Spent maybe 10 minutes actually looking at my AC unit and tried to tell me it was due to flood that my unit wouldn’t work. Would not recommend these people.

I had 3 different people out to fix my cooler and one of them was the owner. They all had horrible customer service, never did fix my cooler and when I tired to talk to them about the issues I was called a liar. Do not hire these people and if you do dont pay them until you know your problem is fixed otherwise you will never hear from them again!!

I was referred to DM Repair by a friend of mine who had some repairs done on her Samsung refrigerator and had nothing but good things to say about them. It is very hard to find a repair company in Des Moines that repair Samsung refrigerators at a reasonable cost so I was very Very relieved to find out DM Repair did.From start to finish the process was easy and they kept me informed of everything the entire way. The compressor I needed for my Samsung was backordered and they informed me of that and kept me informed every time the part got more delayed. It took about a week to get here and the whole repair took about a week an a half. I really appreciated them letting me know about things because I know how it can feel when your waiting on something but you can never find out when and its all up in the air.The technician was very knowledgeable, courteous, and overall made me feel very confident that my refrigerator was in good hands. It has been running cold and like new for about a month now with no issues. I have already told some of my friends about them and my church as they needed there oven fixed at the time and I believe they came right out and fixed it for them that day. I would defiantly recommend DM Repair to anyone!

Our experience with DM Repair so far has been nothing but frustrating. Andy came to our house September 24th to fix our ice maker which had quit working. The repair needed was expensive...replace the ice modal and ice level boards but we needed a working ice maker so we spent the money. A few days later, we noticed that there was a leak in the freezer and we had ice chunks and ice layers on nearly everything in the freezer. So, at the beginning of October, I contacted DM Repair about the problem and Andy scheduled a time to come back and fix it a few days later. He was a no show and a no call. Over the next 3 weeks, we both tried to call the DM Repair #. I even left a message with the after hours service. No one ever answered the regular hours phone and we left multiple messages, only to have NO ONE call us back. Finally, I called DM Repair one morning from my work phone and someone answered!! I was told that someone would call me back that afternoon. No one did. Finally, on December 7th, I called and someone answered the phone again! By this time, our ice maker wasnt working at all. So, Andy (I am sure) set up a time to come to fix it mid to late morning today, Wednesday, December 9th. It is now afternoon. No one has shown up and no one has called. I called around noon and again at 12:30 and left a message. This is the second time I have taken a morning off from work only to have DM Repair not show up. On the invoice we have from DM Repair for over $374.00 it says All parts and repair services are under warranty for 60 days following the service date. If you experience any issues please call us immediately. Well we have tried that to no avail so you may want to stop putting that on your invoices. I understand that things come up and unforeseen things happen. However, if that is the case all you have to do is have the courtesy to make a phone call so your customers are not wasting their time as well as their money. I really have no other recourse but to contact every appliance review website out there and provide a review that contains all of this information. I will also file a formal complaint with the Iowa Attorney Generals Office and the Better Business Bureau. If we can keep someone else from being taken advantage of by DM Repair by reading our review, at least our $374 wont be completely wasted.Update: December 17, 2015...The plot thickens. Hey today we had a reputable company (not DM Repair) come to our home to fix the ice maker that DM Repair supposedly fixed. Guess what I learned? The ice maker part DM Repair installed that we were told needed to be replaced (called it an ice modal on the invoice...no part # of course) wasnt even a Whirlpool part. It was a non-compatible GE part from 2010 and it caused a connection to burn up. Our freezer nearly burned up so we are having to completely replace our ice maker. Now we know why DM Repair didnt show up the two times they were scheduled to come and fix their work. Never call this company. There is a reason why they are available right away.Just filed a complaint today with the Iowa Attorney Generals Office. Of course, filed a complaint previously with the Better Business Bureau and no resolution on the part of DM Repair. Absolute worst service we have ever had and the worst appliance repair company!

They were at my house within two hours or less of the time I called even though they said it would be later in the day. Diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator/freezer and just fixed a bad connector instead of telling me something drastic was wrong. Serviceman, Andy, made the repair, checked everything out and cleaned everything up then gave me a bill for $50 less than I would have expected. I would call them again in a heartbeat.
