My experiences with Venture Management team have always been extremely positive and they are very responsive to questions or concerns. I would highly recommend.

Ive lived here for 14 years now and intended to do so for many more. The Management Staff is top notch; the onsite property manager has resided here for decades; and, lets face it: the neighborhood cant be beat!

Mustapha . First, you guys dont deserve that 1 star I gave you. I think you deserve a black hole. Before I moved to my house, I used to live in one of their apartments . Honestly no issues while I was living there.The problem starts after I left. I didnt get my deposit back plus the manager of the complex charged me an extra 310$. He claimed the carpet was dirty, and he did some other fixing ( really !!!!). My wife is allergic to dust also she is a clean freak so you get the idea. We left that apartment in perfect conditions. Since I refused to pay 310$ now it shows on my credit report.I believe I got my self in this problem because I didnt take time and read reviews about this place. Thx

My sister and I lived at the Imperial Apartments for only one year and it was a terrible experience. They charged us a $500 smoking fine (neither of us smoke) and we paid it to avoid any issues. EXACTLY 6 months later they charged us AGAIN. They waited this time because they didn’t want to evict us, they truly wanted us to stay there for the last month and pay them rent and money. They wanted to suck as much as they could out of us. Someone from their office communicated with us via text off of a RANDOM number and never explained who they were, excuse me please don’t text my phone? and told us they were calling the police. We were FINE with that as we had done nothing wrong and patiently waited but no cop came, only another fine. And then at the end they sent us a bill instead of a deposit. And tried to charge us for another months rent. My sister has been trying to resolve issues privately with Lisa Werth and asked her for receipts on the bill and she not only won’t show them, she is dancing around the question. This place prays on young naive people who are learning to live on their own. Do not live here unless you are interested in going through some kind of financial or legal battle, and losing because they play dirty. And if you’re reading this Lisa, just send us the damn receipts.

I have lived in two of Venture Managements locations and have been happy with both experiences. The rental process was quick and easy both times. My units both happened to have new carpet, were clean, and smelled fresh. My recent maintenance requests have all been handled by the end of the day. Its easy to see VM takes pride in their properties, and most of the staff/management Ive interacted with seem to care about keeping good relationships with tenants.

I live in the Norwalk Apartments. I really like living here! Its quiet and my neighbors are very friendly. The management team is also very responsive and helpful whenever I have questions. Maintenance requests are completed quickly (sometimes the very next day!) You also pay rent online which makes it really easy. I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside is during the warmer months I get spiders that get in through my windows, but I kill them off quickly and they dont bother me much.

The landlord, Jackie, is the nicest lady! She is easy to get ahold of and responds to emails very quickly! I’ve only had to call maintenance a couple of times and the maintenance man was there and fixed my problem within 24 hours. They know that I park my car in my garage and when we had that big snow earlier this year, they had taken the time to shovel in front of my garage door on top of just the normal snow plow. They pay attention to the little details like that and it makes you feel like you are truly at home and that they care about their tenants. I got a note on my door with some chocolates wishing me a happy birthday. They really go out of their way here to make you feel appreciated. This is the first time I haven’t moved out of an apartment when my lease was up. I’m proud to call this place home!

Ive lived at the Brady Apartments in Sherman Hill for a year and a half. They are managed by Venture Management LLC. Ive never dealt with a better staff. They make paying rent extremely easy with an online portal. You can also report a problem via the website, and they will have the problem fixed immediately. I have only had a couple of issues while living in these apartments; clogged drain, broken ac unit. Every time something has come up, Ive contacted the management team, and theyve taken care of the problem within the day. Ill literally come home from work and every thing has been dealt with. These guys really do a great job! Thank you Venture Management!

I live in a studio apartment in Sherman Hill. The place is actually pretty big for a standard studio. I don’t care for my galley-style kitchen, but the place was built in the 1920s so that’s what you get. I wish my place had a dishwasher, but the rent is reasonable and would be more for a dishwasher and w/d in unit, so I get what I’m paying for.Maintenance requests are always handled within 24 hours or less; the maintenance guys are here EVERY DAY, and if I have an issue, they’ll come look at it right away, even for little things. One of the maintenance men has a weird, painful-sounding “howl” that he calls out intermittently. It is usually in Spanish. But he seems to be okay and continues working, so I’ve never asked him about it. I figure he’s just letting off some steam.The first year was a full lease, but now I’m month to month, which is AMAZING. Sometimes I can hear my upstairs neighbor walking around or flushing the toilet, but besides that, neighbor noises can really only be heard if you’re in the hallway. Thankfully the place is smoke-free too. And sometimes the mailman brings my packages directly to my apartment door. #Service!Overall good apartment for the price. Lisa is especially responsive by email. I don’t call the office. Email and the maintenance request portal are the best way to reach them.

I cant move out soon enough. When I moved in, I told them of my emotional support dog. I gave them all the information about shots, registration, and a doctors note. They copied the information I gave them wrong and told me I couldnt have my dog on the property until they spoke with my doctor. They never got ahold of him. I returned with a new doctors note, they refused this one as well. Finally I returned with a third note and they finally accepted it, but they still charged me a fee because I had my dog on the property before they gave me permission. They also regularly charge me fees. Made me pay to fix the sink when it was acting up. Also charged me a fee and said I was allowing guests to smoke on the property. I have never once allowed a guest to smoke on the property. And I just got a notice in my door this morning claiming that I dont clean up after my dog. I always do. I like the apartment. It really is nice. But I cannot stand the management.

Recently signed a new lease. The staff was super friendly and informative on every question I had. The process was very smooth and easy to understand!

As I look through the negative reviews I am baffled! I rented from Venture Management on 2 separate occasions, before I joined the army and again after I got out, and they were amazing!! Always nice and accommodating. But then again I always paid my rent and gave required notice and cleaned my apartment before leaving. I wonder if these other negative reviewers can say the same? Keep up the good work Venture Management!

I never write reviews but after dealing with this place I have to warn people. If I could put zero stars I would. I’ve never dealt with an owner (of Brady Apartment) or management so horrible! Moving out I had to go back and take my $300 A/C out of the window. Took one day after I moved out to do so because I needed the right tools. Keep in mind I even called management to let them know I’m coming to take it out a day later. When I showed up they took it out and kept it. When I talked to the owner we set a time to meet to grab my A/C, he never showed. When I called he said “forget it” and hung up! Management wouldn’t help at all and he kept ignoring my calls! I had to get the POLICE involved and even Home Inc. for the Owner stealing my A/C!!!! Finally after the police helping I got it back! Thank god I never have to deal with this place. Oh and if you want bats flying around in the apartment you’ll get that too living here! DISGUSTING!!!!

Everyone Ive dealt with at Venture Management has always been very polite and professional. Management of the building Im in are very friendly and easy to deal with. Any maintenance request Ive submitted have been addressed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them.

I think Venture Management provides good service to their properties and treats their tenants well. Any time there was a concern or repair that was needed, I would call them and they would always come out to fix anything that was needed. The building I lived in was always well kept and clean.

Apartment was clean upon move in. Maintenance is always quick to address any request. Ive had very pleasant interactions with the office staff as well. Happy with my experience over the past year and have signed another year lease.

Venture Management is a great Company to Rent with. When I needed an Air Conditioning, they installed it quickly and with quality.

Venture Management has great apartment complexes around the Des Moines area. The buildings are well taken care of and repairs and any other issues are always responded to within a reasonable amount of time. They make sure to maintain the appearance of their apartments inside and out and they are reasonably inexpensive.

My years with Venture Management were great. The apartment complex I lived in was convenient location, close to the school and offered free heating and water services. Maintenance was always great about making repairs quickly.

Venture Management is fantastic! I lived in a Venture building for almost 2 years. Maintenance requests are filed through an online portal and are addressed within 24hrs. The online portal is also used to make rent payments which is very convenient. The lease for my building was a 1 year lease that turned into a month to month agreement after the first year without a rent hike for month to month. This type of leasing situation is unheard of in Des Moines! Overall if you ware looking for a fair and reliable landlord, Venture Management is a great choice.

Prompt to fix things. Rent is fair for market value. Apartments are well-maintained. Staff is quick to respond whether by phone or e-mail.

I have lived at Venture Management since November 2011 and I had a fantastic experience. Maintenance requests were addressed promptly and the staff were always extremely courteous and professional. My apartment was also very cozy and affordable, especially for a one bedroom in the Des Moines area.

I really enjoyed the couple years that I lived here. The management was always great about being available for its residents. I always knew if I needed something fixed or had a problem, I could call them and someone would take care of it that day.

Then Venture Management staff are pleasant, prompt and provide wonderful living arrangements. Being a medical student is pretty stressful. It is so nice to come back to a place that is warm and welcoming.

Im moving out of the Northtown Apartments after 2.5 years of living there. I have nothing negative to say about these apartments. Theyre nice apartments that are well-managed. The property manager is very responsive to your needs. If these apartments were closer to where I work, I would continue to live here. However, Ive been getting sick of my long commute, so I ended up finding someplace closer to work. All in all, Venture Management has been, by far, the best rental agency that I have ever rented through. I hope my new landlord is the same way.

I lived in these apartments for a while. Overall, its a nice and quiet place to live. Its in a convenient location close to grocery stores and gas stations which is nice and the travel into Des Moines is quick as well.

My apartment is beautiful and modern. The management is great and quick to respond to any maintenance issues. Love that its pet friendly too!

The property is very well maintained. If ever I need anything repaired, they take care of it very quickly. They are very nice and professional.

I love living here. The rent is more than reasonable, repairs are done in time and the building has been well-maintained for as long as Ive been here.

Terrible company to deal with. They show apartments that are covered in dust, mold, and human feces and expect the potential renter to still occupy the apartment. Half of the appliances were broken in some shape or form. Originally told it would be 125.00 to get out of a lease, but ended up taking the entire 800.00 deposit and then requested an additional 175.00 to get out of the lease. I would never recommend this management company to anyone. They are extremely rude and unwilling to work with their customers. The apartment that was shown and promised to the renter was not even the unit that was available. Instead it was a filth ridden, disease infested piece of junk. They certainly practice bait and switch, so watch out for them.

I dont even live in one of their properties! As I sat in my daughters parking lot waiting for her, they tried to have my vehicle towed and called the police on me claiming I was selling drugs out of my truck! 2 officers showed up and ran my name and plates and searched my truck! All this cuz I wasnt parked in a visitorparking spot? I dont think so. I spoke with one of the residence and he told me the property manager was there when he got home around 5:30. Why wouldnt she just approach me and inquire about what I was doing instead of what she actually did?

Ive been here at the Grand Prix for a while now - parking is plentiful, and during the winter snow removal is on time and great! I followed the correct guidelines for my comfort pet and had no problems, everyone was super nice about my lil Mushu living here! Its a great neighborhood - close to DMU, restaurants, bars, and the office itself too! Any maintenance problems (Ive only had one during the time Ive been here) are taken care of within a day, and the staff keeps everything very clean Very clear instructions for everything you have questions about, and just super nice and friendly people. Highly recommend this company and their apartments!!

Maintenance requests are handled timely and efficiently, so no complaints there. However, their administration at the Des Moines office is horrible. They never return your calls. They tell you one thing over the phone, and then they send you a letter stating something different. They charged me for rent twice once and they withheld my money for over 2 months because they said they could not send the check to me, so I had to personally drive from Marshalltown to Des Moines to get my check... ridiculous.

Management was easy to work with and responded to any requests within an hour.

Very reasonable prices for rent, excellent location, and management makes it easy to live there. They are very friendly and if ever I have an issue, they send someone to fix it quickly.

I was a tenant Venture Management for over 3 years. They managers were very respectful and were available when I needed them.

They out and out lied about me a year ago, They said Ive destroyed apartments and a whole list of bs statements when i enquired as to where they got this information they cant tell me!! So I really dont need to be nice about what i say. They took an application that i submitted with missing information and not wait and see if i had question or if there was something wrong as to why i hadnt finished the application before submitting it, but no they have to lie about me trashing apartments and all sorts of differant lies on their reply to me and now i personally think its bs and i will be talking to an attorney as to see if they can legally say this stuff!!

They responded to our maintenance request within hours, they are great. Nice place, clean and quiet.

The location of the apartments at Venture Management is perfect for me as a student as DMU. They are well taken care of and the apartment manager always keeps on top of things and responds promptly whenever a request is made.

Venture is the worst comany I have ever rented from. The office staff is really rude. Also if your disabled becareful because they will discriminate against.

These people are trying to steal money even if you leave the apartment spotless they will make up reasons that you did not comply I have pictures and I have emails of the date I said I would be moving the month I would be moving and they are trying to mess up my credit because they think I am a trucker and I wont make the dates that I will just pay the money I will take off work and fight them tooth and nail watch these people and document everything

Nice location, very affordable.

The owner found that there was a problem with the breaker in my apartment. He got someone to come out and fix it within the same day. The fact the he found the problem and fixed it without me telling them anything was very noble of them.

Extremely rude office staff and the properties arent very well maintained.
